Popped in for a quick bite on our last day, ordered four tapas between two, expecting small plates. Portions were large and v good value compared to places on the seafront. Service was quick. We had cod, prawns, tortilla and peppers and couldn't fault anything. Recommended

A little known place, hidden away against brash "tourist" places, with their staff trying to entice you in, Bandera almost give the impression they couldn't care less whether you go in or not, but one look at their menu, from genuine tapas to glorious fish and red meat, and you know this is a place worth visiting. The cocktails are good, the food and wine excellent, and the service is spot on. I went for the salmon starter, the steak and cheese main, with a small bottle of Ribera del Duero. Very very hard to beat (although the steak was slightly over medium)

We popped in on a Saturday evening during our holiday in Meloneres. It was 8-8.30 and we managed to get a table without booking. It had a lovely atmosphere, helped along by a DJ playing chilled out tracks and staff who were more than helpful. The tapas we ordered was excellent. The menu is quite extensive. Portion sizing is generous and drinks were modestly priced. There is a small traditional bar and the main restaurant area is next door to it. It's tucked away facing onto the walkway that has quite a number of nice shops and restaurants along it. We'd happily go back and enjoy another meal, or even just pop in for drinks and small bites.

Visited here for lunch, what I liked was that the menu contained the usual tapas favourites, but there were a few unusual options to try, which I was keen to do. They also had a set menu that caught my eye when I saw a table full of workers sampling it on their lunch break. Service was very friendly and portions were generous, I would definitely come back.

We are two adults and two kids. We ordered 5 tapas, and would also like to order a paella for 2 persons. But the waiter said that would be too much for us. He is right! We are very satisfied with the tapas. Fresh and well cooked. The price is also reasonable compared to the restaurants close to the beach.

Came to this place based on the good reviews and it didn't disappoint. The food was perfect and delicious. The waiters were friendly and attentive. Not cheap but fair price for standard of food quality and added bonus of DJ later in the evening that provided a nice atmosphere.

In this area, very nice to have some coffee, drinks and tapas. Straight forward place with friendly staff. We went there a couple of times during our vacation and it was always pleasant.

Estuve comiendo allí hace un par de días y la verdad es que me gustó. La carta variada y la comida rica. A destacar la ensalada de solomillo, queso roquefort y dátiles. El revuelto de setas estaba bueno aunque algo soso. Las patatas bravas buenas también. Precio medio.

Restaurante en zona turística con menú del dia a buen precio y de calidad óptima. Camareros muy atentos y simpáticos, muy pendientes durante todo el servicio de que este todo correcto. El local limpio y funcional. No nos tuvimos que esperar para sentarnos en mesa y tampoco a que nos sirvieran la comida. La comida estaba rica y bien elaborada y te permiten cambiar el postre por el café. Recomendable.

Fuimos un día a comer, nos gustó y repetimos para cenar otra noche, nos pusieron una parrilla de carne, espectacular!!!! Todo muy rico, generosas raciones, precio adecuado. Los camareros amables y profesionales. Totalmente aconsejable. Por cierto, el menú del medio día muy rico y buen precio.

Comimos unas papas arrugadas que estaban muy ricas, creo que las mejores que comí hasta ahora; una ensalada mediterránea con la lechuga, pepino, cebolla y demás ingredientes muy frescos y esto se agradece; lo que no nos gustó para nada fueron los calamares a la romana que estaban muy duros y masticarlos se hacía una odisea. Servicio atento y amable. Algo que no me gustó fue que a un chico de una mesa de al lado le trajeron la hamburguesa con el plástico del queso sin quitar… hay que cuidar mucho estos detalles.

El sitio está muy bien situado. A pie de calle con acceso para personas con movilidad reducida. Los empleados nos atendieron con mucha profesionalidad y muy rápidos. Comimos muy bien la comida estuvo muy buena y los precios sorprendentes. Recomiendo venir a visitar y comer en este lugar y comer las lagrimas de pollo tienen muy buen sabor.

Buen menú del día por 12.95 euros más bebidas. Servicio rápido y camareros amables.

Before we even got to read the menu waiter called us in because there's no need to read, he said to trust him! And so we did and it was really tasty 😊 He was very friendly and found us a table for two immediately. We started with some wine and beer (of course) and came smoked cheese with fig jam - delicious, no words. Then came my second beer and few minutes later came my mediterranean salad (refreshing and goes well with some fish). But then my partner's salad came almost 20min later and somewhere in between came sword fish&prawns screw. So I guess food is 5/5, waiters 5/5 but the timing with food 3/5 😊

Friendly and fast service. It is located in a mall in las meloneras near the restrooms. Places (this and a hamburger restaurant nearby) filled up fast as they are advertised by a very good marketing guy. It is nice place to chill out and have a cold drink. You can take the bus 36 in the station beside to go back to Playa del Inglés

No había mucha gente. No era festivo ni de fin de semana. El precio y la comida muy bien, menú. Pero demasiado tiempo de espera para ser atendido, y sobre todo para que traigan la comida ya pedida (20 minutos de espera para traer primer plato, y otros 20 para el segundo).

El trato de los camareros ha sido muy bueno. La comida hemos tenido opiniones dispares. El huevo con jamón y secreto estaba muy bueno en cambio mi hamburguesa no estaba buena. Era la típica carne de super que te venden que es un 60% carne, se notaba un montón.Las papas arrugadas estaban muy buenas Una lastima.

Average Tapas We ordered tapas with waiter Mike, who was very friendly. Started with tinto de Verano and a Coke Zero (350 ml) with some Pan Ali Oli, bread was warm, which we prefer. Then ordered Gambas al ajillo, Pimientos rellenos de bacalao (very creamy) typical Canarian Papas (potatoes) arrugadas (with red mojo) & abuelas Albóndigas. Food was served quite fast. The meatballs were too salty for my liking and were also served with potatoes. So we had double the potatoes Lastly we ordered 2 cappuccinos and shared a brownie with ice cream. Cappuccino was good but the Brownie was unfortunately very dry and room temperature rather than warm. Summary: not bad but also not great, wouldn’t return. + fast & friendly service - average tapas - Toilet does not have a baby changing stayion

Servicio horroso con comida horrible. He pedido dos platos, un entrante y un segundo. Me han traído los dos platos al unísono. Unas berenjenas con miel, y eso parecían berenjenas en aceite de motor. Una carne con patata, lo cual era chancla con patatas. En fin, NO VOLVERÍA a ir, ni que me pagarán, y no lo recomendaría de ser el único sitio para comer de la zona.

Lamentablemente, no puedo valorar la comida porque apenas llegué a probar nada. Entré al restaurante con la intención de tomar un café durante mi breve descanso laboral de 20 minutos. El chico que me atendió fue muy amable y empático, incluso notó que estaba trabajando y comentó a la compañera de la barra que tenía prisa, algo que yo no le había dicho pero que agradezco profundamente. Sin embargo, lo que ocurrió después fue totalmente inapropiado. Desde la barra interior, una mujer respondió en voz alta y con muy mala actitud: “Si tiene prisa, que se vaya a otro lado”. Me pareció un trato irrespetuoso y fuera de lugar, especialmente cuando se está delante del cliente. A pesar de eso, por la amabilidad del chico decidí esperar unos minutos más, pero no puedo permitirme perder 10 minutos esperando un café. Trabajo en atención al público y sé que, por muy difícil que sea el día, jamás se debe tratar mal a un cliente, y menos cuando está escuchando. La carta del restaurante me pareció interesante y tenía pensado volver algún día a cenar con amigas, pero después de esta experiencia, prefiero invertir mi tiempo y dinero en un lugar donde el servicio esté a la altura de la cocina. Una pena, porque el sitio tiene potencial, pero la atención marca la diferencia.

My wife had chicken kebab and it was not cooked and they started smiling when I asked and offered to take her meal from the menu and asked me to be quiet. When I said we had both ate it and if they realised that we'll likely both have food poisoning they started to laugh and smile then shrugged there shoulders and one guy told us to leave so we did. Please for the good of your own health and well being dont take any risks.

Waiter was nice and you could watch football so thats the nice parts but the food was just terrible, my burger was almost completely pink on the inside. My partners chicken kebab was so tough i could hardly bite into it when i tried it and despite looking well seasoned it was very bland. Perhaps the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Unfortunately, one of the worst meals we've collectively had on a holiday. Frontman makes out he doesn't give the hard sell, to be followed by lots of details of dishes... But thought we'd try anyway. Should've left after first (&only drinks - never got offered again). Same frontman came & slyly took menu off our table to give to someone else - didn't ask, didn't ask if my father-in-law had finished! When woman took order we tried to explain, she didn't even try to understand. Then we saw same man taking photos of a customers food after it was served (not very professional). Food came - fries aren't fries, they're (probably) reheated potato chunks. Very dry, hard to eat. Chicken burger was processed looking & in a marinade not mentioned on menu! I had the cod tapas - dry & overcooked! Couldn't finish! Mother-in-law had chilli nachos - she was the only happy one. Father-in-law had over cooked pork on potato & scrambled eggs (packed full of onions (that he doesn't eat) also NOT mentioned on the menu!!) As i said, no one came to check meal, offer sauces or more drinks. We were pissed off to be honest!! Young boy with limited English collected plates & assumed food good & gave us thumbs up - my father in law said 'No - worst meal ever with a double thumbs down' the boy probably didn't fully understand, but was shocked at the response. But, no one came over, acknowledged our displeasure, offered a reduction or anything! Unbelievable! If I'd had more balls, I would've just walked out. I definitely wasn't happy to be paying the full price! Really disappointing meal & 'service'. I don't give 1 star ratings often, but we were all strongly dissatisfied by this experience. Better, friendlier & more professional places to eat along this boulevard!
