Absolutely wonderful food. I ordered the bbq bacon burger on texas toast and it was very very good and filling, my husband had the patty melt which was massive and amazing, and our friend had the corned beef hash with biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is served all day and it all looks amazing. The fried mushrooms were fresh and wonderful.
This was my second time eating here. The food is average for an American diner however, the portions are large. I ordered a club sandwich and they were nice enough to give me a sample of the Portuguese beans (very sweet). Overall, the food was average but the service was great. I would eat here again. Edit: I came back and had the Tri Tip dinner which was fantastic. Definitely try it with the mash potatoes. Updated to 5 stars.
The quality of the food, the portion size, cooked to perfection and flavor of the food are bar none. Latoya is an incredible chef!!!! The customer service is above and beyond. Kathleen is so helpful, friendly and attentive to us as customers. We come back here again and again because of the food, service and atmosphere. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I love this place and I wish more people knew about it. The two times I have been I have had great food, great service and very much enjoyed myself. This most recent time I had the chicken fried steak and while there was too much gravy it was very good. The mashed potatoes were absolutely fantastic and the grilled vegetables were nice as well Update not half as happy as I used to be
This is the Lemon Herb Chicken from Yosemite Station in Merced! 💛 I was really impressed with this meal! It was a baked lemon herb chicken served with mushroom risotto rice, a vegetable skewer with seasonal vegetables, your choice of soup or salad and corn bread or garlic bread! I chose the minestrone soup, which was super good! It was a somewhat medium sized bowl of soup, and it even came with yummy good chunks of beef in there! I also chose the garlic bread, and it came in two yummy pieces! The chicken was super flavorful, and it was definitely a 10/10! The mushroom risotto was also really good too, and I liked it a lot! I would definitely love to get this dish again! All of this came up to $20.95 before tax, and the waiters were very nice!
This place is fantastic. The food and service is great. They knew when we needed a refill and to-go-plate without us having to ask. I don't know why it took us so long to finally try this place. We don't try new places very much. We had the Texas Sandwhich and the Hobo Rib. Everything had flavor. The soup didn't just tastevegetables boiled vegetabkes. Union rings were done so good that even the batter had flavor (I usually find that fried batter just tastes like fried bread crumbs). I wish I could cook mushrooms and bellpepper that were that good.
Excelent! The soup was really homemade and fresh, fried calamari awesome! Great tartar sauce. Coffee fresh! Any time of the day you can get breakfast lunch or dinner. Prices are fair. My husband and I of course, say it is a delicious carrot cake. Thanks for the service. We have a very good time. Place and environment is taking care of us keeping social distance between tables. Clean restrooms. Not a busy place and they deserve more clientele. Believe in this review is sincere. Thanks!
First time here. We went around 10am on a Friday. The place looks nice, very clean. We were seated right away. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. I enjoyed the service. It wasn't too fast where I felt rushed but it wasn't too slow either. I feel like we got a decent amount of food for the price. The food was good (I had chorizo and eggs), just not great. I'm hoping to go again to try a lunch or dinner. The cakes in the case looked wonderful. Maybe on the next trip I can bump it up to five stars. Again, what I had was good, but very average.
edited to clarify that this is a review for the OLD location —- I genuinely hate trying new places to eat 😅 so take this review with a grain of salt. I either really love a place or hate it- somehow this fell right in the middle which is rare. Upon first entry it was hot- it was cooler than outside but it still wasn’t comfortable, and it was only 9am. Also the tables are covered in ads- like I get it it helps get local businesses get customers but it’s just unnerving to have random people smiling up at you while you eat LOL. Our servers were nice and answered any questions I had about items My husband got the chicken fried steak and hash browns- I tried a bite and it kind of just tasted like a giant chicken nugget covered in white gravy. But it wasn’t horrible I got the Country Benedict. Biscuit was really good, not like a normal biscuit, and I think they may grill them too before serving. The sausage was just a bland frozen sausage the egg was fine. My main problem lies with the gravy. It’s just so bland and flavorless- I get that it’s just white gravy but add some smoked paprika or garlic powder or something lol. Even adding salt just made it salty and bland 🥲 Also I think they butter their toast and biscuits with margarine not butter- so if that flavor profile matters to you be advised lol. But I didn’t hate it- I’d go again and try something else. Just wasn’t super impressed
I’ve always enjoyed Yosemite Station, but our recent visit was disappointing. It took 30 minutes to be seated despite plenty of open tables, and it was obvious they were understaffed. I understand weekends are busy, but it feels like ownership is not investing in adequate staffing. They also recently added a $7 charge just to share a plate, even if the kitchen does not split it. My partner and I do not eat large portions and simply share an entrée ourselves, so this feels unreasonable. We regularly order multiple mimosas and spend a fair amount each visit, so it is not about minimizing our bill. Between the long wait and the new sharing fee, the experience no longer feels worth it. We likely will not return unless this policy changes.
I usually like the place. But my hash browns were burnt, the pancakes were bland, and they charged $14 for just two slices of French toast and the bread they used was small and thin; not worth $14. They also charge $7 to split a meal, $7 to have an extra plate? All that makes it hard to recommend
OK so this is gonna be a long review. We have eaten here before and have had a very good visit, this visit was just the opposite. So we went with 4 adults 2 teenagers and 2 small children for my wife's Bday dinner. My wife ordered a Rib-Eye steak with rice and vegetables ($30 dollar plate). We asked the waitress if the steak the was thin or thick, the waitress said thick not thin. Boy were we shocked they steak was thinner than a thick slice of Tri-Tip, pretty sure they ran out of Rib-Eye and gave her the Steak from the Steak and Eggs meal. I wouldn't have paid $15.00 dollars for this steak let alone the $30 that we did pay. The side of rice that we ordered tasted like the cook spilled the whole salt Shaker in it, I ordered a French Dip sandwich (tri-tip) that looked like roast beef. We were there for over an hour and not once did our waitress offer to refill our drinks or clear a plate from our table. We had to literally pile up the dirty plates to the side of the table just to take a clear Pic and video to sing Happy Bday to my wife. Needless to say $175 dollars later (for food that I could have prepared at home in 10 minutes) I was ready to leave (pay my bill) and not leave a tip. But I felt guilty and left a tip anyway. The service nor the food deserved a tip but I left it anyway. Not sure if this place has new ownership or it was just a very bad (Bday) dinner for my wife. Left very very disappointed!!
if i could give 0 stars i would... dirty utensils, hair on food, horrible service, long waits. The server (Alicia S) gave me and my family such a disgusting attitude and never checked in on us, our first interaction was when she dropped my utensils and didnt pick it up .Personally we never ask for a lot but it felt like we didn't even get anything in the first place...
When we got here from a long drive to yosemite. It took them 30 mins to even take our order and when the waitress took our order she just tossed my friend’s utensils and napkins. Probably the worst breakfast food ive ever had. Chicken fried steam is dry like a cardboard and flavorless. Everything we ordered was either bad or at least mediocre. It took them so long to give our check and when the waitress literally knew we wanted it split she did not split our check. I am never coming back to this place and I hope other travelers will avoid this place too. Save your time and money. We couldnt even finish our food.
Went to have breakfast with my family, when we arrived their was about 3 family’s ahead of us, waited for almost a hour to be seated, meanwhile their was empty tables everywhere. One server said they weren’t seating people because they were waiting for the kitchen to catch up, but while waiting to be seated I noticed their was food just sitting up in the window for 5+ minutes, witnessed 2 tables leaving because they waited for minutes without menus. one server was being rude, when one table left she made the comment “ that table left after waiting for 3 seconds”.
I’ve tried three different times to go to this restaurant every time they have 6-10 open tables, we were told by staff the kitchen could not keep up?? That’s why there not seating the open tables. Sounds like we need to hire better kitchen staff . I will try one more time to get some food from your establishment.
If you enjoy being ignored, this place is perfect for you. We stood at the front forever while the staff acted completely confused about the idea of seating actual customers. There were open tables everywhere, but apparently acknowledging us was too much to ask. When we finally got seated (after feeling like we were inconveniencing them), the food turned out to be… unbelievably average. Nothing we ordered was worth the wait or the attitude. For a place that struggles this hard just to seat people, you’d think the food would at least make up for it. It didn’t. Overall, the whole experience felt like a waste of time and money. There are too many restaurants that actually care about their guests to bother ever coming back here.
