This was my first time at Vito's, it was suggested by my bestie who has been there multiple times. Us three friends met during Happy hour and off the jump, our server was a kind and helpful lady because some of us have specific food allergies at the table and she was great at navigating that. The portion sizes were superb. The flavor was incredible. My friends pizza came out not GF as asked but they were so quick and kind to replace it promptly. The place was cozy and not too loud. The pricing was on par for the cuisine.
Decent menu, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and really good food (I had the tortellini sunrise and it was very good; my husband had the blackened salmon salad and he said it was very good too). They are also known for very good pizza, hopefully next time!
Great experience picking up lunch. Parking is tricky sometimes. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. I recommend the chicken parm sandwich. The French fries were not quite right too hard or something.
My wife and I were seated right away by the owner himself. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The food is second to none. Everything from the fried calamari to our pizza was amazing. Highly recommend this for a date night or lunch with the family. The owner takes pride in this place and the food and atmosphere are a reflection of that.
Everything about this spot is fantastic. The atmosphere The service, the food, the ownership, everybody, including the general manager, was phenomenal. It was like a family atmosphere. Well taken care of I can't express how good the food was or how good the service was. I, I highly recommend I'm coming to vetos, if you're new to the area, or if you just haven't tried it and you're in the area, vitos is where you need to go I didn't catch any names of anybody that we interacted with, but the owner and the GM. Phenomenal people and just made us feel very, very welcomed. In every aspect I give 10 out of 10. I cannot forget the interaction with the straw on the chair i believe the owner was the one that happened to stop by and ask if it was ours. I did not notice the show. Was there? She then asked us for a bag. We said yes, she comes back with the bag and proceeds to say the straw mare may not be at the bottom of that bag as we are leaving I go to get in the car I reach in the bag I look at My fiancé and I go. The straw is in the bottom of the bag and we proceeded to laugh again.Ten out of ten experience phenomenal experience.
Love coming here for special occasions and whenever craving some good authentic Italian food. So many items to choose from, I try something different everytime I visit.i wasn't aware they have a drive thru, I think it is for to-go orders only.
The food was really good. The Alfredo was super delicious. The tortellini sunrise had their signature “sunrise sauce” which is a mixture of a red sauce and their Alfredo. It was good. The cannolis were the best I’ve ever had. (I don’t have that many cannoli experiences to compare to, but they were still super good.) We haven’t tried the bread pudding yet as we ordered to go, but the slice is huge. I loved the atmosphere. It felt like a nice restaurant, but with a casual feel. It was a bit loud when we arrived because it was busy, but I enjoyed that. Honestly, the pricing was good for the amount of food you get and the quality. I would definitely say it’s more like $20-$30 a person especially if you get a drink. From what I remember of the menu, the pasta entrees ranged from $16-$25 depending on what you got. It’s a lot of food though, and very tasty. Anyways, I’d definitely recommend. We will be back. And it might be our new go to restaurant.
Vito’s serves up legit Chicago-style thin crust pizza—crispy, flaky, and cut tavern-style just like back home. The flavor was spot on, with a perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Also tried the calamari—light and tender with great seasoning. Great food, friendly service, and a real taste of Chicago. I’ll be back!
The entire experience at Vito's is always good, it keeps me coming back. Love the fried calamari and all the delicious pasta. The servers are always nice and super attentive too!
Great service. Excellent food.
We drove from Laveen At a co-workers recommendation, we were very pleased with our service and the food was extremely good. I can't remember our servers name we sat in the main dining room as you come in the door but we certainly will be back nice atmosphere.
Love this place, great food. Second time at this location. Food was once again on point & delicious! They serve you warm bread with regular butter and a pesto butter. The pesto butter is delectable… along with everything else we order. We’ve ordered the calzone make sure you get the sausage, they are well known for their sausage. I’ve also gotten the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, very flavorful sauce and the chicken was cooked to perfection. And the first time I had gone in I ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese. This is so far one of my favorite Italian spots. As for the atmosphere it’s very chill, relaxed, more family oriented not super fancy.
Why have I not been here before now? I'm just glad to find it... When you want real, amazing, Italian, with unbelievable service from Natasha, you should visit Vitos! I had some of the best Veal Marsala I've ever eaten and got the spaghetti on the side with meat sauce. It was an outstanding combination! My wife had meat lovers pizza and she loved it as well.
Great food, great atmosphere. We took grandma here for the first time and had a great experience. It was her birthday and the staff treated her really well, even had everyone sign a card for her. Debra was our server and did a great job. The general manager checked in on us and gave us some insight on upcoming events. We will definitely be return customers.
I went to this red while I was visiting Mesa, Arizona, I will have to admit that my dish was scrumptious, delicious. It was so fresh, portion was big. I still going to have about 2 more meals from it
Where do I start? I have not eaten at this restaurant in a long time so glad we all went back there today for Mother’s Day. Had a great time with my sons and grandkids and I had to send a shout out to the manager Jezebel and our server, Tiffany top-notch customer service and can’t wait to go back. Great customer service great atmosphere awesome food. We will be going back there to eat there a lot!
A great dining experience! Excellent scratch made food, decent pricing considering the quality. Our server, Donald, was superb. He was knowledgeable, personable and knew the menu well. Well definitely go back. Highly recommended!
Snowbirds looking for good pizza …. did not disappoint! We arrived 4:15 pm to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail (happy hour!!) before eating. Within a short time, the place was packed. We each ordered our own pizza. So glad we found this place … will definitely be returning! Bartender Tiffany was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious! We got take out and it was ready when I arrived. The portions were big and yummy. We definitely will be returning to try other dishes. The garlic knots were huge! So were the meatballs in the penne sausage. The Alfredo was way better than anyone else’s cough cough olive gardens 😂
Vito's is a gem in northeast Mesa with fan favorite Italian food. I run a housing tour in northeast Mesa and we have many people show up because we cater Vito's for them to eat. It is a monthly treat for many. I wish I could say it is the luxury homes we are selling but I know it is the lasagna, the bowtie alfredo pasta with cubed blackened chicken, and the baked ziti. If you are thinking about having food for a party, consider calling Vito's as they will take care of everything and it is well worth the cost. Giselle is an amazing manager and Tasos is as well (I hope I am spelling his name properly). I have eaten in and the food and the service is amazing. In the 10-plus years I have been going there, I have seen the same people working so I know they are very experienced people. They rarely make mistakes and when they do, they go above and beyond to address it. When I had a very special dinner with folks from around the country, I had it at Vito's even though I lived in the Scottsdale area at the time. I know I can count on them. They also have the ability to make custom dishes for those with dietary restrictions. (Sorry about the blurry pictures. I will upload better ones from next month's tour when I have more houses on.)
The staff is so friendly and lovely. Yummy pizza, nice atmosphere. Good for families and couples!
First timers, what a great experience, the Thin Crust Deluxe pizza was Awsome! Light crunchy crust..our server Alysia did a great job, such a friendly personality!! We willbe returning for sure
Food was amazing I will be coming here every year may 27 before my birthday and many other times.
7/16/23 2030hrs $40.27. Large pepperoni pizza & garlic, and Parmesan wings! You must try the wings. They are prepped to perfection! Very meaty and juicy! The pizza is very thin. New York style. The sauce is amazing! The pepperoni and the cheese are very flavorful. Highly recommend visiting this place.
Our waiter, and various servers were so sweet. We love the food here but especially impressed by a few of the staff. We forgot our to-go box on the table and once we realized it and hopped out of our car, a sweet gentleman had already ran it out to us. 6/5 for our server and the sweet staffer that ran it out to us. I forgot our servers name but he was so kind, maybe Rob? Dan? Not sure but he was so kind.
Stopped buy this long time, local hangout for a quick lunch. My friend and I had a table in the bar but I think our server also doubled for the dining room. Therefore service was a bit slower, so not the fastest service if you're on a lunch hour, but very accommodating, and always friendly .
We come here every Saturday for a girl's lunch. Tiffany is always great! She is so nice and attentive. Certainly recommend coming here!
Let me tell you… my grandma is picky and hard to please. She got the bacon wrapped scallops and LOVED them. I’ve never heard her rave about any thing as much as she did about that dish! Great place! My sister also loved her bbq chicken pizza!
Vito's is a neighborhood favorite. Been going there for 26 years. I've never had a bad experience or bad meal. Staff are all exceptional from the bartenders to the dining staff.
A great spot for Italian dining, especially with a larger group. The service handled our party very well — attentive, organized, and accommodating throughout the meal. They offer an excellent selection of salads, which was a pleasant surprise, and the Italian dishes overall were solid and satisfying. In particular, the vodka-style sauce served with the tortellini stood out — rich, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. A dependable choice for group dining with good food and welcoming service.
We were there with our Red Hat group today! Andres was our waiter. He is the absolute best! Attentive, prompt, helpful, considerate…he has it all. The food is wonderful. I ordered a 12” pizza and am eating the last half for dinner this evening. Yummy! Will be returning!
My husband had the lasagna and was good but very salty. I have the gluten free byo pizza, was great, but the toppings didn't stay on the soggy crust in the middle. Service was great at the bar. We would go back again though.
This little pizza place is such a gem. The manager, Giselle, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She noticed our kids getting restless and brought them pizza dough to play with, which completely saved the meal and made them feel so included. The food was great, especially the gluten-free options, which were honestly some of the best we have had. The ranch was surprisingly amazing and definitely worth mentioning. The atmosphere was pleasant, relaxed, and welcoming, and the service was genuinely warm from start to finish. We will absolutely be back.
First time visiting Vitos. I had tortalini & my husband had chicken parm. Both were delicious. The server was polite & attentive. The atmosphere was inviting. The general manager came to our table to greet us as we were first timers. He gave us a coupon for free app on our next visit. A nice touch. Highly recommend!
Gisele and Jenna went above and beyond for our group luncheon, after my father-in-law's memorial service. The food - whoof - what a fantastic medley of flavors with abundant portions. I highly recommend Vito's for your next gathering, or your next intimate dinner date!
We've been to Vito's many times and just love it. This time was as great as usual. The lasagna is exceptional, especially the marinara sauce. O.m.g. I had the crispy apple salad which has walnut encrusted chicken. So delicious. Our server, Andrew, was amazing. It did get a little loud once our room filled up but it was tolerable. My only disappointment was the cannoli. They were tiny and just meh. I'll definitely be going back though. There's too much to love.
A wonderful gem in the community! The cuisine is authentic, fresh, and the staff truly sets the tone for caring, high quality hospitality. I'd also argue that Vito's also makes the Valley's best gluten-free pizzas!
This is a great dinner choice. We had a rehearsal dinner for my buddy here, and the pizza was top notch. The staff were pretty friendly, and we got pretty loud in their cellar area. The parking can be a bit tight if it’s busy, but the food was a good quality level and quite tasty. I really enjoyed the buffalo pizza. I would for sure come back and try some other meals!
Bit of a wait but the food was great as was the service. Great place to try for a date night or if out with friends/family looking for good eats. Best fettuccine..
Went here for happy hour today. $1 off drafts/$1 off glasses of wine /$3 off starters in the bar and patio. Monday's are All You Can Eat pasta at $11.99. Can't go wrong with these offerings. Greg the server/bartender was fantastic and very personable. Give it a try if you haven't yet 😉.
After running errands, hubby and I stopped in at Vito’s to have a late lunch. During peak hours parking could be difficult in the small parking lot. It’s wheelchair friendly. Our original waitress took our drink orders and then a waiter took over. Not sure what that was about (waiter said she was going home, but she was still waiting on the tables behind us the entire time we were there). Anyway, our waiter (Aaron) was fabulous. He brought out bread and recommended the pesto butter they make every day. Yum. The bread was great. We ordered the alfredo with penne pasta and the pizza roll. Hubby loved the pizza roll. It’s a pizza rolled up and cut like a cinnamon roll. It has pepperoni, sausage, cheese and sauce. My pasta was delicious. We were too full for dessert.
It was my first time going there today and I was a part of a party of eight. It took about an hour for us to get our food due to some sort of mix-up. Others that have been there said this wasn't very typical of Vito's. They also tried there best to make it right and even gave us free dessert which was very nice. They were also very apologetic.
The server was excellent...perfect. The food was very good. The calamari was a little fishy. But the pizza and the Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti was tasty. I would definitely go back.
Normally I love this place. We went to the comedy show. The food was not what they told us. A scoop of rice with mushroom soup poured over it at a few cubes of chicken. The people at our table who we never met requested special diets which they did not provide. The comedy show was average at best.
My chicken Alfredo was a little salty. Portions are very generous. We shared a meal and still had leftovers. Our son's Alfredo didn't have enough sauce on it. Mine had plenty.
This is one of our favorites. But I ordered the beef stroganoff out of curiosity, and wasn't a fan. The meat was tough and grisly, and it had more onion than I expected. Not sorry I tried it. But I won't order again. Just personal preference.
A little disappointing to be honest. The Alfredo from Olive garden had more flavor than this. This tasted like it was from a jar. The service was extremely and the waitress was so kind and really took care of us.
The service was horrible. About 5 or 6 employees walked past us and didn't even acknowledge us standing at the counter. When the young lady finally came up, she acted like we were bothering her. We got our food and it was not the way I asked for it when I ordered it. They finally gave me my food correctly, at least I thought it was. I got home and opened my pizza and it looked like they just sprinkled pepperoni on there after they made the pizza. It was not even baked into the pizza.
Ordered a Margherita pizza to go. Cheese was half melted. Never seen half cut tomato chucks on a Margherita pizza before. Had to pull them off. Usually just sauce, mozzarella chunks and fresh basil to make up a traditional Margherita pizza. The extra flare of tomato slices were cold and not necessary.
It was clear that our server wasn't pleased at having to work on Sunday night. We all found him to be somewhat arrogant & inattentive. I realize large parties can be difficult at times, however if a server needs assistance to provide quality service that should not be felt by the guest. Plus, unless requested by a guest a server should never suggest a guest could or should order a healthier option. The food was mostly adequate but nothing above average. Two people didn't even eat their orders & our server never asked if they wanted to try something else. None of us will not be returning to Vitos in Mesa. What a shame, they were the best in Mesa at one time.0
