Well served, very good service. Recommended.
A classic spot for a great torta and a snack. With years of experience, this place offers excellent value and an unbeatable location in Metepec. I recommend ordering all the tortas because they're delicious. My favorite is the meatball torta. The chiles are a delight. If you haven't tried the snacks, order one (or more if you're out for drinks with friends). The place is perfect for its concept—unpretentious and spacious. The service is excellent, whether you eat in or order delivery. Everything arrives perfectly packaged, especially the drinks, which are vacuum-sealed. A must-visit in Metepec, Toluca, and Lerma.
We visited them yesterday afternoon and left very happy. The food was delicious, the snacks were amazing, and the service from the young lady who waits tables, makes drinks, and serves with a smile and excellent attention was WOW! If I remember correctly, her name is Liz. I didn't hesitate to thank her and congratulate her on her attitude and excellent service.
Delicious! This place has a long tradition, the cakes are very good, well-served, and above all, very clean. The service was a bit rude and rushed; hopefully, they'll improve.
Everything's fine, except I just bought some tortas and there was a coin in the chiles; the ford was sealed 😢
The most expensive sandwich (of arrachera) is more vegetables than arrachera, the flavor is more like sauces like maggy juice and Worcestershire sauce than arrachera, “los chiles toreados” only came in one, and the chiles that are its attraction here they gave me only carrots 😅 the horchata water is very X
I went for a milanesa torta, I had a terrible craving... and well, it was a disappointment. 🤷 They told me my order would take 10 to 15 minutes. It ended up taking 25 minutes. I got home and well, it wasn't a torta at all, it was more grease than anything. The milanesa was practically swimming in oil, barely any milanesa, no avocado, and certainly no onion. In the end, it was a completely unpleasant experience. The chiles were good, but they were cooked so sloppily, and the steak was cut without any enthusiasm, although, I repeat, the chiles were very tasty. My craving for a milanesa torta was a disappointment.
Tasteless, dry tortillas, flavorless, and with the worst quality meats. The worst Tarascan soup I've ever tasted; it tasted like sour tortillas and had the consistency of gray atole. I tried them in Lerma and thought it was at that location, then in Metepec, and no, they're bad everywhere.
It's a bad idea to arrive just minutes before 1:00 PM. They deny you a breakfast menu, even though the opening hours listed on the menu are valid until that time. You order tortas, and they don't have tomato, lettuce, avocado, or any other vegetables. We were the only ones there, and they take a long time to bring what you ordered. They're more concerned with changing the music videos of your choice on the screens (playing at very high volume, as if it were a nightclub) than providing good service. Take my advice and avoid this franchise. If you want good tortas and good service, go to the main location in Lerma. (I also paid $273.00 for three American coffees, a horchata, and four small tortas.)
Very slow service, the tortilla soup was bland and cold. The pork leg sandwich was just bread with tasteless meat. I don't recommend it at all. A total disappointment.
Nothing to do with the Selva de Lerma or the one from Rayón, they are terrible, they take a long time to make them, they give them to you with watery bread that falls apart, the "mole" ones (which has nothing to do with mole, it's chili plus chili and tomato) are super super super spicy so you can't eat them and that's because they're quite spicy and have no flavor, the melted ones are a pittance of cheese, the truth is that I don't even look back to look at them🤮🤢🤮😡
Today I bought tortas from this place for the first time, and I'm sure it will be the last time I buy them there. The tortas are horrible; they have no flavor. And they gave me a soggy, watery tortilla. I couldn't eat it; it started to fall apart because it was so watery. They gave us chili peppers, and they were also super sweet. 🤮🤢 Never buy anything there. All their ingredients are refrigerated. They're really ugly.
Terrible service. There are only two people in the restaurant, and they can't keep up. Forty-five minutes later, my order still hasn't arrived. Very poor service from the waitress, who rudely said she was very busy.
The service is terrible, the wait time is more than 45 minutes, and the waiters tell you they have people and don't give you any answers.
The waitress was very rude. If they don't like their job, they should quit and not ruin the reputation of these sandwiches.
Terrible concept. Why do they offer a la carte food? Just ask if they can prepare it. The water wasn't freshly prepared; it was fermented. Very expensive for the serving size they offered; I wasn't satisfied at all. And to top off the unpleasant visit, they don't accept card payments, and they don't give me advance notice. I had to walk to the nearest ATM to settle the bill.
Today we went to eat what were supposed to be traditional jungle sandwiches in Metepec. Unfortunately, it left much to be desired; the place was very run-down. The sandwich ingredients, like chorizo and milanesa, were already cooked and reheated on the griddle, but they were literally burnt. And the ham was clearly refrigerated. They were out of telera rolls and used bolillo rolls instead. They didn't even have tomatoes. I hope they pay more attention to the "quality" of the food and the place itself.
