Great food, quick fast and healthy option compared to other chain restaurants. I’ve dined here inside / drive thru / and take out with no mistakes to my orders, big or small. This keeps me coming back for the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans for $4.49, great value! The tropi chop bowl is another great value dish, and this place can feed the whole family without breaking the bank. Parking isn’t an issue, and the long line moves fast. I wish i could say the same about other locations but this is the best one I’ve experienced over time.

That’s two meals potentially if you need to stretch a few bucks. The location is super clean and the staff are great, so why wouldn’t you love a fast food place like this?

Great value for the price. I got 1/4 fire grilled chicken with yellow rice and corn. Perfect when you just want a quick and simple meal without the fuss and price of spots in the beach. Fast and friendly service! Only reason for giving a 4/5 is because the tables inside and outside weren’t very clean and I had to take my food elsewhere. Will return!

If you're looking for real organic, home-cooked food, this is the place. Good meat, great black beans. For me, whether I've worked out or not, this is the kind of food I'm looking for on any given day. It's not a fancy place, but it doesn't need to be because the food is so good. I agree with another reviewer: they should improve the rice, and the chicken is tasty but a little dry. Everything else is great.

It's the fast food of chicken. Healthier food and a wider selection than the big, world-famous chains. The food is very good. Be careful, though, as the dining room can get very crowded. There's also the option of a drive-thru or a terrace.

I won’t hear the food is pretty good. I got the grilled chicken and lettuce wrap. That was really good. The fries oh my God amazing. The atmosphere wasn’t the best. It was first of all disgusting there was rappers and dirt in the hair all over the ground, the tables were filthy. We were gonna eat there, but we ended up leaving because it was so disgusting the service not the best. The lady at the cashier was nice but Out of all of it the only good thing there was the food. Definitely a place I will not go back to

Pollo Tropical came highly recommended from the locals that live in the area. The food in South Beach is very expensive and pretentious. While many come here just to vacation and spend money, after a while you get tired of not getting your moneys worth regarding food. Pollo Tropical is a good spot to get good gome cooked food for a good price, i recommend Churassco Steak, white rice and beans

I wanted to try something different, so I chose this chain. The inside wasn't very inviting, feeling tired and dirty. The locals were quite friendly, so I decided to give it a try. The service was very friendly and helpful. I chose the Tropical set, tempted by the advertisement. The presentation was decent, but in reality it was much worse and smaller, but the taste was very good. The pulled meat was delicious, as were the other meats. The grilled chicken was also good. The sauce was a tiny bit, not as good as the one in the advertisement, but the friendly waiter gave me more. The rice comes with beans; it doesn't look appetizing, but the taste is very good. The food is typical of Miami Beach, and the quantity is reasonable.

Pollo Tropical is a safe bet if you don't want to spend a lot and eat a lot. When I go, I order the half grilled chicken without any seasoning, so it's also a "healthy" dinner. This one in Miami Beach is located across from Ocean Drive, so it's outside the nightlife. However, there's parking nearby, and you can even walk there from South Beach if you want. Unlike other places in the same chain, drinks aren't free after the first one.

I got an order of chicken quesadilla wrap which is on website states has a cheddar cheese, when it was time to eat it I discovered that cheese was missing. Which wouldn’t be a big deal if this wrap had more than 3 ingredients. Unbelievable :(

Huge issue last week with an employee who had an absolute unprofessional attitude with our whole family... we had a tough time being completely bullied by an employee who was basically getting increasingly irritated because we asked questions about the food, since we are foreigners... Please tell him that answering questions with calm and professionnal attitude is the basics of his job. Food is great. Although the "vegetarian protein" is still a mystery to us I ordered it, the employee wasn't able to tell us what it was and it came as chicken :) We preferred to have our meal outside because of the cold with the AC and dirtiness

I seldom post negative reviews, and previous Pollo Tropical experiences at other locations were positive, BUT this experience was pretty bad. I placed an online order for a whole chicken, and upgraded to white meat only. When I got home and opened the package, I found 4 dried up wings and 2 really dried up breast sections that were partially hacked in half. The skin was missing from one of the breast pieces. This was pathetic, and barely edible. I hate wasting food, but most of this went into the trash can. If pollo is your signature dish, how could you screw it up this badly? Whomever packed this up for my dinner can't have any sense of pride in what they do! Pathetic! Where was the "adult" supervision? If this had been my only Pollo Tropical experience, I wouldn't go near one again.

Ordered through delivery and the gave me one small chicken, and drum that looked eaten, their was chicken completely missing, the bag was sealed when arrived.

It’s almost impossible to pick up an order here, especially if you order on the app. After standing there for 10 minutes I was finally able to ask someone, her name was Rose, to check if my pickup was ready. She asked for my name, repeated it, and then briefly looked just to tell me it was not ready. After another 5 minutes of standing there waiting, another lady asked me (to my surprise) if I needed help. I gave her my name and she looked at the exact same bag that rose had looked, and handed me my order. Wow— Would you look at that! My order was ready! After all of that, I left with my order. Once I got back to my destination to eat, I discovered that my grilled chicken Caesar wrap did not contain any Caesar dressing, and did not include the added on garlic side sauces that I had ordered. I understand the rush of a busy lunch hour at a restaurant, and the many needs of many customers. However, it takes a lot less energy to be nice to others than it does to be as passive and unhelpful as Rose was. The missing sauce and dressing? Definitely a disappointment but I can look that over. The dreadfully poor customer service is something that I can’t.

Should change their opening time to 11am. I got there at 10:25 because they’re suppose to open at 10:30. At 10:45 a lady came out telling me is closed and that they open at 10:30am 🤔🤔🤔. I don’t know if they don’t have clocks inside to tell the time Or that they just lazy. Staff was inside looking at me and another person standing outside. It took them 20 minutes after “opening time” to actually open. 😡 wasted my 30 minutes of lunch break and I left hungry.

I ordered a Tropichops with vegetable protein (when I received it, it had nothing else besides the vegetables I had chosen as toppings), they told me that "the vegetable protein option is simply that they don't add meat", they didn't replace it with anything else, they DID NOT give me any vegetable protein.
