Nice place to sit and look out the window at people passing by. And amazingly they figured out how to include tips in the prices. Probably one of the 5 places in the country that have this advanced technology. Love it. Come at the right time and you will see freshly roasted coffee come out of the roaster.
We came here to try Cuban coffee. Never tried it! Miri was so sweet and helpful. She suggested the most popular drinks/ pastry and we were not disappointed. Our drinks were delicious! Pepe was kind enough to notice my husband’s coffee had not been stirred 😂 so thankfully my husband wasn’t bouncing off the walls after one sip. The pastry was guava and cheese! Truly delicious. Not too sweet. My kids had a mango smoothie and again not disappointed and not overly sweet. Definitely a place to visit! Great customer service. Good prices. Plenty of sitting space. Clean.
I had an amazing experience here and the coffee was amazing. I had the capiblanca it has liquor in it. It was a sweet coffee which I enjoyed. Miry was an awesome server and upbeat full of life it felt like I was at home. I will definitely return when I come back to Miami. If your a coffee this is must stop while in Lil Havana.
We stopped into this adorable coffee shop filled with gorgeous pieces of art. We wanted to try a traditional Cuban coffee and the beautiful Miry helped us pick out the perfect coffees. Miry is the sweetest gem and knew immediately that we were tourists and took care to help us find the best coffees. When she delivered the delightful layered coffees she offered to take a picture for us. She has the most infectious smile and energy. We recommend this because the coffee was delicious, but we highly recommend because Mirta made us feel so special.
Miry was absolutely amazing! I’m not sure if her official title is waitress or barista, but whatever it is — she is phenomenal at it. She’s so passionate, charismatic, and attentive. You can tell she does her job with genuine love and joy. Talking to her felt like chatting with family — she’s incredibly sweet, kind, and truly such a pleasure. La Colada in Little Havana has an atmosphere that feels just like home. Mari recommended different coffees for us to try, and every single one was delicious. If you want incredible coffee, fresh pastelitos, and that warm, comforting feeling of being in a relative’s kitchen, this is the place to be. Absolutely loved it and highly, highly recommend!
Stopped by for the Havana Vieja coffee and it was absolutely perfect—rich, smooth espresso layered with creamy milk and topped with a generous cloud of whipped cream. Beautifully presented and even better than it looks. Cozy Cuban café vibes, great spot to slow down and savor a classic done right. Would happily come back just for this drink.
Cuban coffee. They roast their own beans in front of your eyes as you sit and enjoy the coffee. Cuban coffee is a deep roast and so they add sugar to counter that bitterness and a stringency that can happen with deep roast coffee. A colada is a small styrofoam cup of coffee. A cafecito is a very small amount poured from the colada to share. Very cool vibe. Worth a visit.
I went with my husband to La Colada Gourmet in Miami. The Atmosphere is really good. The Customer service is good. Miry was really nice. She speaks English, Spanish and French. The coffee is really delicious. We took 3 Leche coffee. The Cuban Coffee is really teasty. I highly recommend it.
This is a great place to have coffee at. The venue looks like a coffee shop in Cuba, they roast the coffee in house, you can buy the coffee and express o machines there and the coffee is so delicious. Miry nos recomendó el Havana vieja y el espresso y Que delicia!!! Excelente trato y hasta una fotito nos hizo. El mejor coffee shop de little Havana
La Colada Gourmet is a must-visit! It was our first time trying Cuban coffee, on our honeymoon, no less, and it was amazing. Nicholas crafted delicious drinks and made the whole experience special. My drink was the iced tres leche and just phenomenal! Miry at the register welcomed us with such a lovely smile. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
Lucas was amazing, he ran through everything and had such great energy and enthusiasm. The coffee, empanadas and sandwiches were exactly what we were looking for in little Havana. Fresh roasted coffee by the pound to go too! Everyone here was so friendly and welcoming.
Very awesome place in Little Havana. Lucas greeted us and gave his recommendations. I had the BonBon which is equivalent to a Cortado. Wife had an ice coffee. Our coffees were great and the atmosphere is cool. You would not think you were in Florida being in here. Check it out!
Miri was amazing! She suggested the capablanca coffee and it was absolutely delicious. The shop itself is like a little slice of cuba. Excellent, friendly service. Delicious and rich coffee - highly recommend!
We visited the store in July of 2025. The coffee was great. The atmosphere was good and staff was nice. For my birthday this year my wife ordered me some ground coffee and they sent me a free mug with the coffee. I am thankful for the gift and we will be back!
Great food and wonderful service. The barista (Jane) was helpful and provided great options for coffee. The Cubano was delicious and was a hearty breakfast. Will definitely come back again.

Owner was super nice and was naturally good at interacting with diff types of customers. Ordered orange juice and iced latte and recharged at this coffee shop for 2hrs after biking from Design District to Little Havana. Was fortunate to see coffee bean roasting in the store.
Lucas welcomed us in nicely. He took his time and explained the varieties of coffees to our group. He went through the entirety of the menu from knowledge. Food, coffee and atmosphere were very authentic. Great experience
Miry was a sweet heart and took photos for us! And our first server who I forgot their name also was very kind and explained to us the menu. The atmosphere is quite calming and there is an outside patio in the back. Must come place to visit to chill and just enjoy the music too
Definitely a must visit!!!! Miry was very pleasant and gave great suggestions on the coffee. I thoroughly loved this place.. I will be back for sure with my family. Yes
Lucas recommend our drinks with liquor and we loved it Just walk in the hosts are all dedicated to welcome you and make sure you are enjoying your coffee and enjoy the experience
I was so excited about every bite, every unique flavor; so wow truly amazing. I really had to compose myself. Thank you Chef for making such amazing food. God bless you.
☕ La Colada Gourmet #Coffee in Miami is hands down one of the best coffee experiences in North America. The rich aroma, bold flavors, and smooth finish make it a must-try for any true coffee lover. 🌟 Every cup is brewed with care and passion, delivering what I would call the best coffee taste you can find. It’s not just a drink here, it’s an experience that showcases authentic Cuban coffee culture. 📍 If you ever visit Miami, this spot should be on your list. Whether you enjoy a strong espresso, a creamy cortadito, or a classic cafecito, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great coffee. #LaColadaGourmetCoffee #MiamiCoffee #BestCoffee #CubanCoffee #CoffeeLovers #MiamiEats #CafeVibes #CoffeeCulture #MustTryCoffee #NorthAmericaCoffee #CoffeeExperience
If you are a coffee lover or just want to enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate, this has to be a place to stop at. You can smell the aroma of the freshly grinned coffee beans. We had their guava pastries, cafe con leche and hot chocolate. It was all delicious! We really did enjoy it and we are definitely coming back to visit!
We stopped in while visiting Little Havana from our of town. We were exceptionally pleased with our visit. The ambience of the place with it's homage to Cuba is fantastic. The Cuban latte and the cappuccino were absolutely delicious, and the Patriots we had were very good. The service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. If we lived in the area we would be here a lot!
Excellent coffee. Miri was great as a hostess. A bit of Russian speaking was a nice surprise... The spot to have a Cuban coffee and a cigar! Enjoy!
What a vibe of a coffee shop. Very very Cuban. The beans, the in style rotating and grinding. I posted a cortadito and it was very strong. Not for those that want sugary, Starbuck type coffee drinks. It was also in a beautiful presentation. They also have wifi and tables to sit, enjoy, and do a little work if you'd like, but its more of a social cafe.
This coffee shop was amazing! The customer service and friendliness was just so above and beyond. It was our first time at this coffee spot and the waitress really took the time out to explain all the different coffees. She asked about our taste in coffee and gave us some great recommendation. And the ambience of the place is really chill and relaxing as well! I would definitely come here again!
If you ever find yourself in Miami, I highly recommend visiting La Colada Gourmet “The House of Cuban Coffee” 🥰 The atmosphere is truly captivating, and you can watch the entire process of coffee preparation, from the roasting to the brewing☕. The air is filled with the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee, which immediately draws you in 😍 I tried their sweet coffee with condensed milk, and it was excellent – perfectly balanced and rich in flavor. Don’t miss out on the pastelito, either! The puff pastry with guava filling was absolutely delicious and paired wonderfully with the coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly, and one of the ladies even offered to take a photo for us. It’s a place where you instantly feel welcome, and I left feeling genuinely happy. It's a fantastic spot, particularly for women, as the environment feels very warm and inviting. Plus, you can purchase unique coffee cups and, of course, some of their outstanding coffee to take home. La Colada Gourmet is a must-visit for any coffee lover!
Born & raised in Miami & grew up going to Calle Ocho but only in the last couple years did I see & try this place. I love it & brought my cousin & husband & they loved it. The women working here have consistently been friendly & professional, the café is delicious👌 I love the little tables, chairs & decor. I hope they always do well & definitely recommend!
What an incredible experience! This cozy Cuban café on Calle Ocho in Little Havana is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warm and vibrant atmosphere that makes this place so special. The coffee was absolutely delicious—authentic Cuban flavors that transported us straight to Havana. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the outstanding service from Maya. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot on, and her energy added so much to the experience. If you’re in Miami and want an authentic taste of Cuba with top-notch service, this is the place to be! We will definitely be coming back.
So glad my husband & I stumbled upon this coffee shop while vacationing. We had the pleasure of interacting with Maya, Jasae and Daily. They were an absolute delight! From the moment we started chatting, they exuded warmth and friendliness! Their positive attitude made the whole experience feel personal and engaging. It’s clear that the staff here truly cares about providing excellent service and making people feel valued.
I went to both locations and loved them both. Outstanding service, family ran, best coffee and food. I can’t say enough about La Colada. The space is a work of art, bright, vibrant colors and lively. We had the pleasure of meeting and the owner at both locations. She stopped by our table to say hello, super down to earth, you can tell she puts a lot of pride in her business and so do the employees. The Cuban coffee is legit, they roast in house and gave the perfect recommendations based on your drink preferences. I’ll always make a visit here while in town.
An incredible place for a delicious coffee and local specialties to bring home. The staff was super friendly, informative, helpful, professional and fun. Marilyn and Arianna were fantastic!!!! They made us feel special and the attention to details was greatly appreciated. Well done La Colada - we will be back and recommend to everyone! We loved it!
Pepe made our experience amazing! From welcoming us when we first walked in to sit at a table, to inviting us to experience his work with the coffee bean roaster machine and answering all of our questions, it was a wonderful time. The music was lovely, the coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the tres leches and rum cakes were lovely accompaniments. Very friendly staff and such a cute atmosphere. We will definitely be back daily on our trip!
A bustling and lively coffee and bakery spot in the middle of Calle Ocho. We both wanted to try something unique so our server made a dealers choice and both options were phenomenal. It was warm so we opted for iced coffee. Each was presented beautifully, tasted incredible and exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and it was great sitting by the window and watching the world go buy for a few minutes. Notably, the desert menu had listed prices which were downright cheap, though coffee had no listed price and it came to $25 for the two of us. But I’ve had $20 cocktails that left me disappointed so I’m not complaining about these prices in a heavily tourist centric area. If I could stop here (and afford it) for my morning coffee daily, I’d be ecstatic.
Absolutely loved my experience here! The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Now the coffee… easily some of the best I’ve had! Rich, smooth, and full of flavor—you can tell they take pride in every cup they serve. I tried the colada w/Bailey and condensed milk recommended by our server Juan and it was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Along side with croquetas . Highly recommend this spot to any coffee lover looking for quality, service, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back! Miry and Juan were amazing!!!
I was having ice cream at Azucar across the street and wanted grab a good coffee. I saw the great reviews on Google, so I decided to give it a try. The moment I walked in the coffee smell was strong and pleasant. I was immediately greeted by a staff and she provided a few recommendations. Then I grabbed a table at their beautiful patio in the back. It just added to the experience and they provided me a nice of cappuccino with a nice writing of Miami and a drawing of a palm tree. WITH COLOUR!! the coffee was so good that I bought some of their coffee beans. You can ask them to grind them for you if you don't have a grinder at home. I definitely recommend this place.
This place is not just about coffee, it’s about warmth and cheer. The cortadito, and Little Pink Havana are strong, and sweet. The flavors are intense, and the sweetness balances out the intensity . The decor of the place makes you feel like you are on vacation, and the staff is lovely! The lady who gave us the coffees described each of them in detail, and patiently answered our questions about them. We felt we were relaxing on a patio. This is a happy space!
Lucas and Miry were excellent servers. Incredibly good coffee and pastries in the middle of Little Havana. My favorite place for coffee there.
Absolutely loved it! The coffee was so different and morning like I've had before (I've never had Cuban coffee before so that checks out). Definitely recommend the Capablanca (I did end up staying up till 3am after that though). If you have a sweet tooth and don't mind treating that aspect of you then try the tres leches. Added bonus are the cute little souvenirs placed all over the store.
This is my first time to vistit Miami and Little Havana. Me and my husband had pretty good time in here. Their coffee(Capa Blanca) was awesome and athentic. Rice pudding also was very interesting. The most nice part was the server(Miry) she was very nice, kind and made us enjoy Cuban culture! It was nice experience!
Miry was amazing from start to finish. The moment we walked in she was so welcoming and helpful. Sat us immediately and asked us what kind of coffee we liked. Without even looking at a menu she brought us very flavorful coffees, and their gauva pastry was amazing as well! We just ate so we were unable to try their food but everyone was very great. Would definitely visit again!
The place is nicely decorate. One of the best coffee I have ever had, strong flavor, freshly made. The caramel flan is thick texture, boldly flavor, and so delicious. Miry and Arianna are so friendly. They explained the menu throughout and gave us their recommendation for each of us, even offer to take picture for our group. Highly recommend. Definitely be back if we are back in this area.
This place is so beautiful and authentically ip-scale Cuban, that you get the best experience possible. My fiancé and I were very impressed since we walked in, is Christmas season and the decor was stunning. He loves to enjoy a good Cuban cigar and they have an amazing selection to choose from, and outside siting. The service was spectacular and warm. The food 12/10! Highly recommend the Tostones Rellenos! Now… their coffee was nostalgic to say the least. Best Cuban coffee I’ve tried on miami. It was our first time here and we decided to book a table for Friday because how nice and enjoyable our experience was.
I don't know how anyone can give this place less than 5 stars. I had a great time here. The service was A+, the café was excellent, and the atmosphere fits the demographic. I had a cuban café and my wife had the dulce de Leche cafe and it was do good. The service was great and we were not the only ones in the cafe. Our server Miry was a pleasure and she took the time to educate us on the coffee. I also had the rum cake, it was delicious. Will definitely do it again on my next trip. La Colada, gracias por el servicio y la expirencia. ♥️
One of the best coffee shops in the little Havana street. If you cross across the coffee shop, the aroma makes you visit the coffee shop for sure. They live roast the coffee in front of you in a giant red machine that looks so good and it is such a unique thing that I’ve seen out of all the coffee shops I’ve been to. We tried tres leches latte which was rich in coffee and a little too sweet which makes it a unique and interesting combo. They also have so many souvenirs that looks pretty interesting. If you like coffee, and want to try Cuban coffee with some good vibes, look no further.
Had amazing pastries (guava+cheese) and delicious coffee. Atmosphere is very cute and coffee came out in nice glasses instead of the paper cups at most other places. As a bonus, they bring out fresh homemade vanilla wafers! Miryi was very helpful too guiding us through the different types of cuban coffees.
I recently visited La Colada Gourmet and had a wonderful experience. The coffee was freshly brewed, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the overall experience. I also enjoyed their snacks, which paired well with the coffee. Overall, it’s a great spot for quality coffee and a cozy atmosphere.
Though I am not a coffee drinker, but i enjoyed the hot cup of coffee served with baileys. The ambience exudes coffee vibes all across.. the aroma fills the place. The staff is extremely sweet and helps you choose the coffee based on ur taste. Liked the unhurried approach they had. The cafe has a vintage Cuban feel with good eats and amazing coffee. Loved the decor.
Came here with my family tonight. The coffee was spectacular, I want to come back here just to try it all (and then the iced/hot versions too lol). Miry gave us a really detailed tour of the menu, and made sure we didn’t just buy, but had an experience, a lot of heart in her work and character. The presentation is beautiful, from the decorations, to the structure. Shoutout to Nicolas, he has the sauce!
Lovely stop for coffee and pastries. They roast it right there so you cannot expect more fresh coffee. And the smell is spectacular! I don’t even drink coffee but I like it there, you can taste the quality. You can buy a cup to try and then purchase a bag to take home together with coffee maker. Super expensive but definitely worth trying. Paid $30 for 2 coffees and flan. Flan was not very good.
I love my coffee so getting great coffee is a must. This Cuban coffee house was excellent. The taste was the perfect consistency and the beans flavour came through really well. The service was fantastic - recommending the right coffees for us when asked, and service was always friendly and with a smile.

Incredible Cuban coffee. Some with baileys. Some without , all delicious And the key lime pie was the best we ever had We also had the Cuban sandwich which my daughter loved. And our server, Miry was delightful. Helpful. Sweet and took picture of us al!! Highly highly recommend. It’s worth the trip!!!
We went to this cafe for a Cuban coffee. The service was perfect, the atmosphere very nice and authentic and the coffee itself very good. But man, 11 $ for a coffee ? Was there gold in it ? I mean no coffee is worth 11$ for me no matter how good. A total scam. Maybe you can eat well but if you only want a coffee I think it’s better to go elsewhere.
Followed other people review to try the Tres leches iced coffee. It looks pretty but I wished the coffee taste could be a little stronger. My husband got capablanca (I believe) and it was so tasty. The staff was very nice and cute decoration. Highly recommend this place!!

Food and coffee were excellent. Pastries with guava was interesting and unique. Worth trying. The day we were there was overly crowded. It took over 30 minutes to get our fairly simple order of 4 coffee drinks and a couple of premade snacks. There’s no system or order… everything is very unorganized and chaotic.
We had a bit of time before our food tour began, so we stepped into La Colada for a coffee and a snack. I had an iced Cuban Coffee and my mom had one of the Tres Leches Coffee. She thought her drink was really good and I appreciated that you can make any coffee iced here. I also had a guava and cheese empanada and I really enjoyed it. Only downside was they didn't have the savory empanadas at the time and the waitress said she'd check but never came back to report if they had them or not, so we couldn't order something else in place of it.
The most famous con leche has no acidity and tastes great! I was recommended an iced drink that was really good, but I can’t remember the name. 😅 It had condensed milk, so it tasted like an Espresso Dolce Latte! Surprisingly, I finished my drink in just 30 minutes because the turnover was so fast. It felt a bit too quick, but still, You could visit it once, just to try 🙌🏻
It's for tourists for sure. The menu states 6.95 for the 4" sandwich and when check out, it's 9.95, and the staff refused to explain why. I don't mind paying $10 for a 4", but just not too comfortable with false pricing. Not sure if they will get sued for this. Coffee is good, but the sandwich is not. the ham is below average quality. The pressed bun is not fresh. I do like the vibe tho.
Upon entering the cafe the waitstaff just look at us and we were profiled. Not even a smile or welcome. Terrible wait staff. Especially the tall white colored guy. I asked what’s in the coffee coz the menu is just up on the green board. He was pissed that he has to tell me what’s in it. Just keep saying its really good and showed attitude.. So end up getting the tres leches and 305. Disgusting coffee not even worth calling it gourmet. The food? We got key lime, flan and rice pudding? Ehhh, Publix has better taste. It’s sad how people come there and boast about how good it is. My family are travellers and we travel around the world to look for the best food in town. This one is just a THUMBS DOWN. Don’t recommend. What is a good atmosphere when the people working are full with attitude and so much negativity?
Well. This is a tourist trap. Coffee is absolutely not enjoyable. Stay away. The cookie is old and the chocolate they put on top is needed cause the coffee itself is not drinkable. Sad but true. If you like coffee there are places nearby that serve quality. Just look for them.
