First time at Dr Limón, and I just have to say it’s totally 100% recommended. It’s so good. The food is amazing. The service is very friendly and helpful, 10/10.

Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar: A Peruvian Paradise in Miami! . MIAMI, FL - Stepping into Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar for a family night, the ambiance immediately set a wonderful tone, hinting at the culinary delights to come. From the moment we were seated, the thoughtful details began, like the welcoming fresh lime and complimentary Leche de Tigre – a delicious, invigorating pureed ceviche that was perfect on a tostone. Roasted corn kernels provided a delightful nibble while we perused the menu. . The food, as always, was phenomenal. The Remedio Casero Mix ceviche was incredibly fresh and energizing. We ventured into new territory with the Messi Roll, a rich and flavorful sushi creation with a generous crab topping, and a unique shrimp truffle sushi roll. The Causa Variety Platter offered creamy, layered potatoes with delicious toppings, and the Jalea showcased perfectly crispy, tender seafood with an excellent dipping sauce. Even a special request for Lomo Saltado with Tacu Tacu in Ají de Gallina Sauce was graciously accommodated, proving to be tender, flavorful, and a textural marvel. . The staff truly shines, warm, helpful, and patiently guiding us through the menu. Refreshing drinks like the Cucumber Mule and classic Inca Cola complemented our meal. While the Suspiro al Limon dessert was a pleasant try, it was the savory dishes that truly stole the show. Dr. Limon delivers an authentic Peruvian experience at a great price, making it a highly recommended spot we can't wait to revisit!

This was my first time, and let me tell you how very impressed I was. From the service, atmosphere, drinks, and food! They surpassed my expectations. I got a strawberry lemonade to drink, and you're probably thinking, "What's so special about a lemonade?" This was the best lemonade I've ever had! Please do not sleep on this! I promise! I was so confident in this drink that I literally got up and let my entire party of 11 try it! Lol! It was my first time trying to ceviche, and again, to my surprise, I was blown away. Delicious! Fresh! Perfection. I had the amazing sushi roll 'Messi', and I can honestly say I'll be heading back there sooner than later because I was one happy girl today. Thank you all for the amazing service today!

This place really exceeded my expectations in all possible ways. The food was amazing, very tasty and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was really nice, and although the place was full, we were greeted and accommodated right away, no waiting time whatsoever. The drinks were super nice, i tried like three different ones and loved them all, really good price too for the drinks. In addition to all the greatness about this place and its food, what really impressed me was the service. Top notch service by Luis Abeu-saleh, there’s really nothing negative to say. His recommendations were on point and his friendly attitude made our time there really special. Thank you Luis.

I recently had the opportunity to have dinner with my wife at Dr. Limón near FIU. Despite it being a well-known spot, I had never had the chance to visit before. At first, I thought it would be a casual, fast-food-style restaurant, but it turned out to be a true gastronomic experience showcasing excellent Peruvian cuisine. ​We were lucky enough to try some off-menu dishes, and the flavors were outstanding—truly on par with Peru's haute cuisine. Regarding the service, it was excellent. We were attended by Chavelis, who was incredibly kind and gave us perfect recommendations based on our tastes. This experience is definitely worth it!

I love a good ceviche made with quality ingredients that don’t break the bank! I visited this place years ago but didn’t live close enough to come often. Now that I’ve moved to the area, I’m so happy to see it’s still here and just as amazing as I remember! Probably one of the best ceviches in Miami! Their causa is equally delicious, and the drinks did not disappoint. The cucumber mule was refreshing and perfectly tangy. The service was exceptional; truly on par with a high-end restaurant. It’s rare to find great service in Miami, but our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. 10/10 — highly recommend! Posted some pictures but the ceviche did not make it to the picture ! Next time .

Excellent service by Alexis, Food was really flavorful, desserts were deliciously sweet! Booth seating is very comfortable. It can be very loud on a Friday night. I would come back and recommend to others. Chicken Causa is a very large portion easily 3-4 people. All food portions were large. Dessert portion was small.

Really loved it the attention is awesome, have to admit upon arrival waiting wasn’t as expected.However, the manager on duty Carla noticed and her attention was out of this world. Very attentive, explained or food choices perfectly. Lobster was perfect with béchamel sauce and cheese really liked their Lomo saltado a lo pobre with eggs and plantains didn’t disappointed got me wishing I ordered that for myself. Nice drinks, overall good place to eat.

Also, the mixed ceviche was short on everything else, and for $20 it shouldn't. The sea rice was ok but like the ceviche, short in all except rice. Also, according to the menu, it was cooked on black beer. I have tried other done the same way, and for sure the color is way different. Oh, and if by any chance you have a discount card, you won't be able to use it after 4pm. Shame, I kinda liked this place.
