Thank you Charles for a fantastic experience! I had the whole, grilled hamachi. Came with two amazing sauces, but the fish was so fresh and well prepared; neither were needed. Great service and we appreciated not having a built in 18% tip.

We had the best service and the meal and drinks were delicious. Javiar was great. I had the scallops marsala-wow! Best marsala sauce i have ever had. Scallops were tender and cooked perfect. My husband had the grouper and loved the sweet onion sauce. Try the cucumber martinis- they really are refreshingly different.

My family and I ate here last night. Our server was Marcio and I would hands down say that he is one of the most wonderful servers I have ever had. I am gluten free for allergy reasons and he was very knowledgeable and quick to offer suggestions for me. I have never felt so comfortable ordering at a restaurant before. The next time we come here we will ask for him by name for sure! Thank you Marcio!

Everything is delicious, seasoned, and piping hot. Michael our server was the sweetest ever! It was so good I don't wanna post too much, I just want you to go try it!

My partner had scallop marsala over linguini. I had grilled salmon with potatoes wedges and corn on the cob. Amazing for her and I. Ate ourselves silly. Still had the lava cake with ice cream at the end. Amazing as well. I'd recommend.

Grill fish what can I say just like your name they grilled me a red snapper it was bigger than the plate taste great I even came back a second day was in town for 8 days so that tells you I spend two days at that restaurant second day had two big lobsters on an open flame talk about good

We tried their Lobster over a white wine sauce and pasta, the ribeye and a bottle of recommended Malbec and LOVED everything. Outstanding food, great service and helpful smiling workers. Highly recommended if you're going to spend the money!

In town for a long weekend, we ate here since there was seafood for me and steak for my wife. Our water, Marcio, was outstanding and the food was excellent! We will definitely eat here again! Watch out, the cosmos are potent ;-)

We loved this place. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with the sweet onion sauce.....amazing! My husband ordered the New York strip. He loved it. Sarah was an excellent server. She was attentive but not a hoverer or too much. We definitely will come back and recommend this place.

Had a calamari salad as a quick lunch. Good portions and the food was excellent. Michel was the friendliest and most attentive waiter I've seen in a while. He was always at our table at the right time. A great example of outstanding service in a restaurant. Will come back!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I mean literally from you first enter til you leave, you have positive encounters with the staff. The host was so welcoming and our waiter Javier was such a pleasant person. I cannoy wait to come back again. This is our second time here in two years and it is mainly due to this restaurant. Keep up the great work.

An amazing dinner. We visited from Houston, TX for a week and enjoyed everything about the meal. The wait staff was amazing, the food was even better. My only advice is to have your "coins"'in order. We were on vacation and didn't mind the prices but this is a heads up to anyone else. Definitely a must try eatery.

Ate at the Grillfish twice during our visit, no complaints about food, NY strip steak was great, scallop meal was great too. The specialty Martini's were prepared with precision never seen. Our Server Michael was great, very attentive. Will return without hesitation next visit to Miami Beach.

The service and the food was great. We started with the calamari, perfect. I had the salmon and he had the lobster. It was a quiet dinner, because our mouths were full, lol. Great place for a date night in South Beach.

Went with three of my girlfriends and decided to split the Swordfish, blackened cakes & buffalo shrimp- everything was to die for! Great atmosphere & knowledgable service. Make sure to ask for Michael. A great seafood place to try whether you're visiting Miami for the first time or you're a local. Highly recommend.

Excellent meal and service. Our sever was Becky and she was attentive/friendly. We had the lobster special and Shrimp Fra Diavlo (not on the menu but I asked). Key lime lime with mango perfect finish to a special meal!

Love the Grill Fish!! Miss the one that was located in Boston. I was on vacation in beautiful South Beach when my wife and I stumbled up on it. Needless to say I was ecstatic and made our reservation for the night right then and there. They have hands down the best shrimp scampi I have ever had period!

Had the lobster pasta with piccata sauce and the mango key lime pie. Lobster and pasta were both great! Pasta was not hand made, but still cooked perfectly. Waiter helped us take the meat out of the lobster, which was really helpful. Mango key lime pie was too sweet and missing the tartness of key limes.

Seafood can be difficult if you want it to be perfect. This place has it all, including a pleasant atmosphere. Not cheap, that's for sure. I had their shrimp for entrée and scallops for main dish, great both of them.

Fresh fish, nice place, but... my fish was overcooked and more expensive than expected. They offer tilapia in the menu, which is really really overpriced (>30$ for a Tilapia? Oh, come on) especially when compared to wild caught saltwater delicacies, but I am sure that you will do your best to avoid ordering tilapia at a restaurant... right?!

Food and service were very good. Try the Buffalo Shrimp and the Grillfish Cake. Becky was our waitress and she was great.

It was a good experience. Waitress was pretty good and fast. I'd say service was the best part of our evening. Food was ok but nothing really great. Got barely warm meat. When I asked why it's cold they said cuz you ordered rare :) Comparing with NY restaurants meat is average. Fish was good. Overpriced. I think because it's in Miami Beach but definitely not because of food quality. Glass of vine is $15. 4 stars only for waitress.

The fish was really good but the prices are a bit on the high side. Sure, you're paying for location but I fear that if we hadn't been there with a former employee of the place, the service would have been lacking. Don't try the Sancerre (white wine) -- it's way too inferior for $60 a bottle!

What an interesting place. The food was OK, the atmosphere was very Miami-ish, the service was alright. There really wasn't anything that stood out (well, Miami prices). If you're looking for bigger portions and a safe place, then this would be good for you. Would I go again? No. On a trip to Miami Beach, you gotta eat around.

I love the decor of this restaurant. It feels like the kings dinning room in a old pirate ship. They have goood fish, a decent cocktail list and it's two blocks from the ocean. I will be trying it again as the menu has more than a few tempting choices.

Overpriced and under good.

Three words: overpriced under quality. The fish was decent but it came with pasta that basically tasted like butter and overly salty/seasoned potatoes. I got salmon with potatoes and supposedly a clam sauce linguine. This meal cost around $30. Service was good but slow considering the restaurant was slow. I wouldn't return.

After getting a gift of 15% off to return back to your restaurant I was going with the group of friends when this manager turned me away and wouldn't even serve me food after I was told which I will provide evidence to meet up with some friends of Charles so that I could get some of the best service but I was not only served all go home but I was also declined food. What restaurant declines service from Apple computers employees who wasn't even intoxicated or even under the influence. I sat at the bar only to be approached by a manager when I asked to speak to an employee when she told me what I wanted from her I said I wanted to talk to her. I was recommended by Charles but this rude manager declined food and service. Not only will I be posting this In Best Foods in Miami but I will ensure that you will not be getting the best service and you will not be getting the best anyone's attention. I will also post on many websites this manager who was extremely rude so that the business goes down. I would like to have a phone call so that I can speak to the owner about this managers attitude, pure hatred and was obviously medicated. Included are the pictures of the rudest manager that I've ever known. I was recommended by Charles to talk to Julianne and Roy to get continued to great service but again I was turned away by The ugliest at least from what I she told me a manager. She obviously should not be in this business because she doesn't know how to have a great customer experience.

The food was excellent. We ordered Surf & Turf. Steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The service was terrible. Waitress was rude, pushy and forgetful.

0 stars for 0 service. Our party, including me, are in our mid-late 20's but our server treated us like we were 12. He never once came to check in with us or ask how our food was, which was NOT worth the money. Disappointing service and disappointing food.

food oversalted most likely to mask bad meat, impossible to taste meat. 'side' turned out to be add'l course, which I did not want. rip-off all around. staff was nice, but that cannot make up for way below quality and overpriced food. so many nice and good restaurants on the beach. don't waste your money!

If the manager and bartender weren't so rude they would get a better rating. I have been in customer service for years and this is absolutely unacceptable. I will never go here again. The absolute worst. I am disappointed in the service and more importantly in the staff.

So over priced and not quality ingredients. Fine dining prices for those who don't know fine dining !

Dinner tonight with family including my 2 & 5 year old. Staff overly nice and came to table multiple times to compliment my children and their manners. Manager however was outwardly out to get us. She walked by our table shaking her head and complaining about the kids being there. When we were seated, we were the 1st table in dining room. They as us next to grill. All was fine until our meal was done and we paid bill and my 2 year old got down and picked up her booster and set behind her chair innocently. Within 2 seconds I picked it up and told her no and before I had a. Hence to stand up and leave, the manager was there telling me how our seating was a problem for her staff and how inappropriate it was that my daughter set the booster down for a fraction of a second. We were so taken back that I returned to the restaurant to give her a chance to apologize. I told her she was very rude and that her staff put us at that table and continued complimenting our kids, she pretended to not listen and refused to acknowledge I was talking. I then was even more rude and at that point my husband stepped in. If you are looking to be treated decent, do not eat here. The food was fair but to be treated that way in a city with amazing food is uncalled for.

the service was great, but the food was terrible. The calamari is gross- very chewy and not in a good way. The arugula salad and dressing are very spicey, so be prepared. It's not a typical delicate goat cheese and pecan salad. The surf and turf with the new york strip is okay, but it's just not what I would expect from a restaurant with such high ratings. It does not perform on "Outback" level steak performance in my opinion. The corn and shrimp were just okay. I was really dissatisfied to pay $85 (with tip) for myself on this meal. Was looking to treat myself, however, it just wasn't good.
