By far my favorite pizza in Miami and a really ship one too. I love the place. Orders usually take around 30 min to be ready but I think that is an acceptable waiting time.

The pizza here is the best in Miami that crust is crispy and the pizza cheesy perfect amount of sauce and price is great! Read some prior reviews about lengthy weight I’m guessing it has improved because I order every other week and it’s ready 15 min just always check your pizza before leaving because they give a hard time if you need a refund. I have had a couple times where my pizza wasn’t cooked the way I wanted. But it’s still the best pizza in the area!

I had a small personal pizza (10") for a very reasonable price. Very good quality for that price, and I watched them make it fresh for me. My cousin had a pan con bistec she said it was very good as well. Mention of a mandatory tip is marked clearly by the register.

We went here after the movies to grab a slice of pizza. First, they do sell it by the slice. Second, I have to say it was really good. It hit the spot. It was like a traditional NY pizza, cheesy, thin, crispy, and tasty. I'm salivating just thinking about it. I recommend it for a quick bite. Came here as a kid after the movies and always had a great time! The service is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly and open to talk while respectfully mainting a safe distance. Shout out to the lady who seemed amused that an adult would buy a toy lion from one of those quarter toy dispensers. On nostalgia and service alone this place gets five stars but for the first time after 20 years of not visiting, my stomach did not agree with eating 6 slices of pizza as the main and only meal for my day. Guess im getting old. Of course this is expected since the pizza there can be a bit on the greasy side but this can be remedied by patting it down with napkins which the staff is eager to provide. I have never suffered as much as i did around 5 hours after consuming the pizza and this is coming from a man that has been shot in the leg. Great for kids.

Awesome NY style pizza next to movie theatre. I love to take a full pizza home after a movie from this place. They also sell by the slice and pasta too. crust is thin, slices are nice and big, cheese has the NY taste, price is nice too

Great for grabbing grub around a movie outing. You can split a 10" pizza and a calzone with 2 waters for less than $20 and the food comes out crispy and fresh. Only drawback is they don't have enough help, so if you happen to be looking for a job, they're hiring.

This is my favorite place to get pizza in Miami. Reminds me of NY style, but obviously nothing compares to the real deal. They offer many many choices, but I have only tried the garlic bread and the pizza. The prices are amazing. One thing I think I would change about the shop is the bathrooms. They're pretty tiny, not at all wheel chair accessible and no changing tables in case you were looking for that here. It's not the best place to have a stroller or even a car seat, although they do have outdoor seating. They don't take very long, maybe 20 minutes or so on a regular day. If you call in early the order should be ready even quicker. The downside is they don't speak much English so the non-Spanish speakers may struggle a bit. Around is a strip mall, movie theatre, McDonald's, Pollo Tropical, a little WIC shop, Party City, Navarro, Marshalls, and more. Pretty good place for a day out.

The prices and the food are just excellent, the service is not so great but for the price and the quality of the pizza I have to highly recommend this place.

I went a couple years ago and I never forgot the pizza, so I recently revisited to see if it holds up. Honestly, the place has great cheap pizza for the size you get. The $7.50 deal for two pizza’s are huge, I can eat and those two pizza’s had me stuffed. I went with my partner, between two combos and garlic bread, we paid just over $20. It’s a mom and pop place and it shows, though the food outshines it all.

This will be a super revealing review. This place will not be for you if you can't speak Spanish. The owner and two employees there all said they speak little English. When using the normal measurements, I love this pizza, especially the crust! And it's more affordable than the same type of New York style pizza in other parts of town, but they automatically add 16% tip to your order and don't show you how much that is. This is for carryout and that is the standard amount for Dine-In Service. You can always refuse that amount and tip as you please. Just ket them know. If you buy by the slice, they will add your toppings and reheat But that is pretty standard around here. I ordered an XL pizza with ham, mushrooms (canned, sadly), onions (they were red), and pepperoni. It was not their standard NY style thickness today, but rather Chicago style pan thick. I asked them to make it their standard way, and the same as their by-the-slice pizza. And I had to do this is my imperfect Spanish. And they didn't want to remake it, and when they did, they barely spoke to me or looked at me and the remake time was quoted at 25 minutes! And it took that long. But I love this pizza (the crust!) and it's close to me. Still, this can't happen again, you know? It's in a strip mall with its own entrance next to a movie theater. You don't have to walk through a big mall to get to it. Plenty of easy parking. Some outdoor seating where you could have a dog. A little indoor seating, I think 5 booths or so. They also have Cuban food and note the roasted pork pizza advertised. I want to try that. You can't order from their website, but you can call and order--with some Spanish. If you haven't lived in Miami, well, it happens often that people don't speak English and it's part of the Miami culture. I'm not judging, just letting you know so you can pick a place that suits your needs.

Good value for the money on the slices. They would've benefited from more/tastier sauce. Been wanting to check this place out since I'm an avid moviegoer, and frequently visit the AMC theater nextdoor. It wasn't bad, but could be better with a more flavorful sauce.

We went in a weekday night and asked for 4 slices of pepperoni 🍕 and we did get it quickly but I watched as the took out some obviously old slices of cheese 🍕 and added cold pepperoni slices and then heated up our slices with the pepperonis on top. As anybody who knows what they're doing would know that adding pepperoni on top of an already cooked pizza would add so much oil that it would make the pizza drenched and soggy. Ultimately the slices were so oily that it seeped through three paper linings. The slices were okay the execution was horrible and this place is only good as a last resort. The people were nice and the restaurant was clean.

It's not a bad pizza. In fact it's pretty good. Especially for the price. The problem is their business practices. I think they've lost their minds a bit with this inflation. In less than 6 weeks the large 18" pizza has gone from $10 to $12 to now $14. Okay, fine, that's still a good price, but READ THE FINE PRINT. $3.50 for each topping, and as mentioned by another reviewer, a 15% tip if you pay with card. So they've also caught tip fever except if it's not voluntary, it's not a tip. It's a surcharge. My advice? Pay cash, forget the toppings, and ask for a receipt. Also tell them to make sure to put enough sauce. My pizza with the overpriced toppings was basically cheese bread.

Pizza is great and garlic rolls also.. but the girl with the blonde hair.. not the 1 making pizza.. charged tip when paying via card. Doesn't say anything and does without asking. Not how a business should be done or an employee to take money for just making an order.

They are not what they use to be. I’ve gone a couple of years back and they had much better customer service. Pizza is tasty and very good for the price, however, even if order to go they charge 16% gratuity on all orders, regardless if you dine in or take out. Which either way, when you dine in it’s not like you’re getting a restaurant experience you are just quite literally eating your food there and that’s it, they aren’t gonna go up to you to check on you or anything which is fine.. but why is there 16% gratuity added. The customer service is just nonexistent from the ladies that work there. I ordered a pizza to go, because it’s a huge pizza so I wanted the box but I mentioned I’m going to eat here but I just want it in the box so when it’s to go it’s already in a box. When I sat down to eat a slice there while it’s fresh and I asked for a plate and the lady who took my order was like but you said it was to go! Like… so? Can I not get a plate to eat a slice? They charge a tip anyways, what was the problem. Again, they aren’t like a dine in restaurant where they take your order at the table and ask if everything looks good so i don’t understand what was the problem if I ate a slice there or not, and besides we get charged as if they provide suitable service. I only went because I went to the movies next door.

We came in as first time customers because it’s attached to the AMC movie theater and we had a movie to see afterwards. I get it’s Cuban pizza and this is Miami but I was horrified to see they offered a pizza with fried eggs on it and a pizza that had guava paste just cut onto it (they couldn’t bother to cut it up more than thick slices so it legit looks like turd pizza). But whatever. People have different tastes. We liked the older style pizzeria feel with how their signage is, it seemed clean, and prices were surprisingly good. HOWEVER!!!! We ordered a 14 inch to split and a soda. Received the receipt, went to our table to wait, and husband reading the receipt saw it was more expensive than it should have been. Why?? They AUTOMATICALLY tacked on a tip for themselves. This is not displayed on signage anywhere that it will be done. The chick who took our money NEVER ASKED or turned the screen around for us to tip ourselves, “ooo 16% tip for myself” just because. I’m convinced they automatically tip themselves as they wouldn’t receive as many tips otherwise. We came here to the reviews to find out this is a “normal” thing they do for eating in and delivery. I’m sorry but that’s just scam vibes. We can afford the extra $2.46, it’s the principle of it that really burned us. Why come to someplace that’s not honest about how they’re going to charge or are fine just taking money from their customers under their nose. The place was pretty empty. The food took 30 minutes to show up. During the wait they turned on their fryer for an order and the place filled with the smell of dirty/old frying oil. The service when we received the pizza was the only good part where maybe that tip was justified (it was not the cashier). The pizza itself was fine, there’s no real “bad pizza” but it wasn’t good enough to overlook the dishonesty. It sucks because we actually frequent that attached AMC almost weekly so it would have worked out really well convenience wise that we pop in there for dinner before the movie. NOPE. First and last time going there. The tipping thing is our main deciding factor for that. If you don’t care about them just taking your money then the place is passable.

If you use card to pay for food they say they charge a small fee for card usage and it really is them charging automatic tip. Which I wouldn’t mind doing but do not like the fact they have to lie about it.

Well tried today to order and pay over the phone and the customer service team was not able to process my credit card over the phone. The pizza is no good. The crust is horrible! The lasagna has the layered pasta brunt and hard. Couldn't even eat the food. And it was very expensive.

Food takes forever. Lady taking my order did not understand me when I said "1 garlic roll" when it specifically says it on their menu. Person how served my food accidentally gave me 2 slices of pizza, when I ordered 1 slice. She literally came running out from behind the counter and snatched it off my tray. Ridiculous -_- I only gave this place 2 stars because the pizza was actually good.

Their products are decent and very reasonably priced. The Staff, is quite something else. While waiting for my pie to cook the food worker began to openly eat where the food IS PREPARED. Later she was telling a customer that she could not provide her with the store's business card because of Covid 19 concerns. That infuriated me and I asked her if it was a Covid 19 concern to eat where food is prepared for the public. As you could imagine, the first thing to fly out of her were the shallow and insignificant excuses. Then when I disposed of those she began the "you are correct and I apoligize." She cleaned the area where the food is prepared and informed me that she did. Keep in mind that if I had NOT brought forward the concern it would have remained as is for the next order. In addition, neither employee was wearing protective gloves while preparing food.

Pizza was good but service was terrible, It took almost 40 minutes to make a cheese pizza and only two customers were there .I asked 30 minutes Later why it’s taking so long and they just answered that’s how long it takes and walked away. Place has potential just needs to hire or train there employees better.

They changed their dough. It’s no longer thin and crispy like NY style pizza. It’s fluffy and more doughy than anything. I loved their pizza before they switched the dough.

This place used to be so good but today the dough of my pizza was RAW. They usually have a thinner crust but my pizza was all crust than the actual toppings. When I got home to eat the crust tasted weird only to spit it out and see it was RAW! I’m a little concerned I got food poisoning from the dough since I’ve been feeling nauseous and my body keeps rejecting any food I wanted to eat after that pizza

The pizza is good and at a great price, but the service is terrible. They’ll have you waiting around for a while before attending you, and then allow others to skip as if you weren’t waiting. This one time a lady skipped in front of me and when I said something, the employee looked at me as if I was in the wrong. Followed by tossing me my change with no eye contact. Very trashy and unprofessional experience. The blond employee that attended us really had the worst customer service I have ever seen.

I came in to buy pizza in person and was told there was a “small card fee”, but after checking the receipt it turned out to be an automatic tip that they input themselves without asking. They even tried to charge me for refills without telling me there’s a cost for it until after they filled my cup. I wouldn’t mind tipping, but being misled isn’t right. This one star is based strictly off customer service. The pizza they were serving did look decent although I did not try it. I went in to order a few drinks and churros. The woman at the counter was not welcoming and immediately spoke to me in Spanish and didn't even bother trying to speak in English. Language barriers are always challenging. I don't appreciate her treating me as if I'm the outcast. No one, not her nor I should be made to feel that way. A simple small attempt from her in English would've made me switch my language. Little did she know, I do speak Spanish. I ordered churros and she looked at me like I was crazy and told me they don't have any. Mind you, they are on the menu. It took about 15 minutes to finally get the drinks, which were just in a cooler behind the counter.

Horrible service. They charged me 20$ for a pizza that was apparently 5.50$ (X large 16") plus two toppings i got.. they are a scam and when i confronted them they said they didnt have the size i wanted so charged me for the largest they had WITHOUT ASKING ME!!! Crooks and super greasy pizza.

I have been here twice and both time something bad happened. The first time we were waiting for our order for about 30 minutes, when we asked them why was it taking so long they could not find our order and until we showed them that we already payed they didn't put the pizza in the oven, so we had to wait even more just because they forgot to put in our order. The second time we ordered a 14" pizza and they not only took forever to call our order they also gave us the wrong one, they gave us a 10" instead of the 14" and claimed that we payed for the 10", thank god i kept my receipt and after showing them the proof of me paying the 14" they didn't even apologized and then placed our original 14" pizza order in the oven, after waiting for an additional 30 minutes we got our pizza and left. Needless to say the pizza is not that great either, and certainly not worth the bad experience we had and the bad attitude they gave us.

We were with the family at the movie theater got out and my husband said let's get pizza at JC'S is right next to the theater we order a large Hawaiian pizza, there were three employees and you can tell can tell they were backed up. Thirty minutes pass by and still waiting for the pizza a man walked through the employees area told them what not to do got a Heineken and left not even help the employees. One hour and still no pizza really disappointed about this place and the service.

I went to JC’s to pick up a pizza. When I went to pay, the credit card machine was not working. They use “Tag” or Apple Pay, and the chip on my credit cards did not work either! Their machine looked like it could use a good cleaning! What a disappointment!

Unfortunately it was bad. First no chicken to make chicken parm, then no ravioli, they should if started with "we only have pizza and spaghetti". Then credit card machine not working and to end it the soda machine was also down. How can a business survive like this . The pizza was very oily and it took 25 minutes to get food. Sorry but I won't go their again

This place is really dirty. The food is horrible the people are nice. sanitation should inspect that place. The food was very old taste my daughter could no eat her plate. The Hawaiian pizza I’ve ordered was really bad and the looks was horrible. My husband order calzone we had to return, it did not look like a calzone. I wish I had the pictures.

Pizza is decent price is good. Been here waiting over 45 minutes... for 1 cheese pizza. Its not even busy. The 2 cubanitas behind the counter are too busy gossiping to actually get their job done. Do not recommend.

The ladies that work here are kinda airheaded, they only speak spanish and even when I speak Spanish to them they still get my order wrong. It’s a 30 minute wait minimum no matter what and they always have a long line. I ordered 4 plates of spaghetti and chicken which was supposed to come with salad and garlic bread like their menu states but the lady at the register argued that it doesnt Come with both, then why advertise it ? Plus i made my order over the phone for pick up so it would be ready when I’m there and when i get there is when they tell me they didn’t have what i ordered. Making me wait even longer to choose something else so then they could make it. Wouldn’t recommend this place. If you’re the owner and you’re reading this I went in at 7pm on 4/21 all those employees on the floor that time really need to get replaced. Update, I ordered FOUR plates and THE FOUR OF US ARE SICK. Stay away from this place!

Been coming here for about 17 years. Its tradition before or after movies to eat pizza. I order a slice and I get this dry out burned pizza. The girl behind the counter tells me that it's always been served this way. Adding insult to injury. Guess are these years of tradition gone...

Good pizza, shaddy policies...they charge you a mandatory 15% tip fee if you pay with credit/debit card...i dont think that's honest or even legal...used to like the place, not coming back for sure!

The worker here tried to slip a 15 tip on a carryout pizza without asking and when I pointed it out she said that the management made her do that to all orders. Unacceptable.

Checked out the menu and saw meatball sub. Asked the lady taking my order but she had no idea what I was saying. Repeated it 3 times, still clueless. She then asked the other employee if they made meatball subs and the other girl said no. I said it's on the menu, again they said they didn't know what I was talking about. That was my cue to walk out.

I would come here very often but will never come back and will tell everyone I know not to go either. The cheese falls off the bread, and I say bread cause there's no crust. Looks, and feels like a sponge. Extremely salty, and I asked for half pepperoni half cheese and they put two pieces of pepperoni per slice. Under cooked too. Ohh, and to top it off, they add 16% tip n a take out, are you kidding me! Stay away, not worth it. Plenty of other GREAT pizza places in the area.

Food is decent. Beware, they will try to charge a tip without asking or even notifying the customer, even on take out orders, and then play stupid when confronted, "times are tough" said the owner, and they're about to be tougher after I dispute the whole charge with my bank.

We walked into this place and there was no one waiting. We ordered two Fritas and it took them 25 minutes to make them. The picture on the menu shows the frita with ketchup and julianne fries. The patty was made of meat and it came with cheese and mayo. It tasted liked a hamburger instead of a frita. We asked twice to get the drinks and napkins but they just had an "I don't care" attitude.

Be careful when paying. I walked in just to buy 2 bottles of water and leave. I was paying with credit card and the lady charging me selected to apply a 18% tip without any chance of me knowing she was doing it. When I asked why, she answered “yes, we always do it”. Really? You deliberately always apply a tip without the customer knowing??. These people are thieves…

The food itself is pretty good. What is not good is that recently they started automatically adding a 15% tip to the bill without telling you. Horrible place! The place is filthy, unkempt and the service is horrible! The staff is very unprofessional and nasty. They charge an automatic 16% tip and a fee for paying with a credit card.

So I used to love this place, so so much but lately I've noticed the service has been pretty terrible, they took FOREVER with our meal and to make matters worse I got food poisoning after I had their chicken Tenders! When it was time to pay the cashier, was fiddling with the ipad, my total on the register was $11.13 and on the pay table it was $14.33! She tipped herself 20% and when I asked her about it she said it was policy. Other customers might not clock this, but they’ve been tipping themselves off of other peoples money. Its the principle. I would like to speak to the owner or manager. A few years ago I came here with my brother and when we went to pay they turned the kiosk around and put in a 15% tip without asking permission. My brother argued with the employee about it and I completely forgot about it until now. I ordered and when I went to pay the employee here did the exact same thing. I believe this is theft. I'm sitting here waiting for my order looking around and I dont see any signs or notices about tip automatically included. what's more what would she do if I paid in cash? Short change me? I've worked in the service industry before and am completely for tips but only when it's voluntary or disclosed before you pay. What they are doing here is wrong and a crime.

Tuve que salir a comer afuera pues no podía comer dentro del restaurante del escándalo y el vocabulario. Lo peor era que le comentaba una a la otra de sus relaciones con los hombres. Éste lugar no lo recomiendo pata comer en familia con esas empleadas chusmas. Las ví salir con unas camisetas de construccion service. Parece que ese era su otro trabajo. 🤣 Se me olvidaba me quitaron la tarjeta de crédito y ella se puso la propina sin preguntarme. Fatal.... alguien debería de denunciar ésto.

No le debería de dar ni una estrella porque el servicio no sirve y las pizzas menos,pedí pizza de doble queso y cebolla y vinieron crudas 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lo primero es que me cobraron la propina sin decirme nada. Yo me percaté y pregunté...igual la dejé pues entiendo que es un trabajo que se paga mal porque trabajé en la cocina. No deja de ser incorrecto. Los espaguetis en aceite de oliva fueron sin aceite de oliva con los ajos crudos. Me los comí porque como hasta piedra pero estaban malísimos.
