Stopped by Johnny Rockets to grab a bite to eat before heading to Zoo Miami for zoo lights. Every time I come to JR I order the same thing, which is tenders with chili and cheese fries. Once again, JR never lets me down. This combination is straight heaven sent, tenders are cooked to perfection and the chili and cheese fries just melt in your mouth. Food and service were both great! I definitely recommend JR!

A gentleman by the name of Orlando was our server. Friendly fella, Atmosphere's pretty great has that old school diner feel then again that's kind of what they're going for. What I could say from other places I visited they actually did the smiley face for the ketchup. That little touch was really great. I visited other Johnny Rockets that would not do the smiley face. Attention to detail is always a nice touch. As for Orlando if you're reading this good job man. Also if someone from corporate ever reads this bigger chili portion will be greatly appreciated that stuff is incredible.

Johnny Rockets at the Miami Dolphin Mall entrance is a place we visit before every flight to the airport, we love the taste of their hamburgers and it is also a good alternative for those who want to spend time in the shopping mall. The service is very good, even though the ambiance is not nice, we go there every time we visit just for the taste. It is recommended that you try it.

It was my first time eating at the place and I enjoyed it completely. The service was great. Our server was amazing. The ordering of our food and receiving it was timely. The atmosphere was impeccable due to a live band playing outside so when the doors opened the atmosphere flowed into the restaurant. After we ordered our food I stepped out shortly to order some cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory and our food was ready before I received my cheesecake lol. I came back and began eating. The server came by the table and saw my small bag of cheesecake and brought 2 sets of utensils without us asking. That unexpected effort made my first experience at Johnny Rockets wonderful.

Last time I had Johnny Rockets was more than 10 years ago. This time, I had a strawberry banana shake and philly steak sandwich. The shake was as I expected. The deco on top was cute. The sandwich was super delicious. Very juicy and the taste was well balanced. I really wish I have time for another try before I left the states.

My 14 year old wanted to have lunch here before heading off to do some shopping at the Dolphin Mall. I went to a more traditional Johnny Rockets Located in Main Street Miami Lakes a while back where the waiters (waitresses) served our food in skates and there were jukeboxes, oldies music playing and the servers even sang. But this Johnny Rockets was less amusing and more modern. No skates, no oldies and no singing. Nevertheless the burgers were just as AMAZING as I remembered them. Very nice staff and very affordable prices. Highly recommended.

Nice place to have some burgers. The staff is a hit or miss. It really depends on when you go and who attends you. Sometimes you have a great time, and sometimes you dont even get your refill of water until you ask a couple of times. I was dieng to try their new vegan shakes but unfortunately they ran out of oatmilk, almond milk and cashew milk. Supposedly, they ate better than their regular milkshakes, so I was curious but ended up leaving without them. Other than that, the burgers are good. Fries are a bit tough sometimes. Again, it's a hit or miss. Sometimes you get them nice and fresh and crispy, and sometimes you get them like they've been under a heat lamp for a good bit.

The oreo milkshake is no longer as good as it used to be here

Food was really good, we had a good experience since the monent we get in. Orlando the manager was really friendly and gave us good advice. The food was huge portions for a resonable price. I don't give 5 stars, because the place needs to be more clean, the windows were so dirty and I saw a dead fly in one of the windows. So i would say the place needs to clean more. Even that, the food was good.

The burgers were good. They meat was tasty and the burgers were loaded with toppings and a nice size. Not too big but definitely large enough to satisfy our appetite. There was a good amount of fries and we left full and content.

A good place for memory lane. Took me back to high school and for some reason, drag racing. The music was nostalgic. Great memories came to me. The food was good. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they will put an egg on your burger by request. Love that! Alas, the experience shaken awake with the bill. Wow, not very cost effective for burgers! I had a burger, not a NY strip. Great place for every once in a while visit.

Food is good and it is served fast. The only bad thing is the inconsistency of the employees. They have a management problem, it seems like no one is in charge... I visited 3 times during my stay, alone. The first one was perfect, I was greeted by a young guy and was told to sit where I wanted, he was very diligent and everything was fast, I was out of there in no time with a full belly.. The last 2 times were completely another story, never was greeted even when they saw me standing there, I decided to ask to a female if I can sit down which she said yes. I chose to sit outside, after like 10min another female asked me and another client sitting next to me if no one came with the menus, both said no. 10 more minutes and no waiter or menus... and the place was not packed. 25 min in there and I decided to stand up and ask a waiter who was cleaning the tables near by if she could take my order, she said yes, came like 5 minutes after and finally took my order, at least the food was good. Third visit was pretty much like the previous one.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. One of the hosts said, 'sit anywhere you'd like. '. I did. I sat at the counter/ on one of those nice red barstools... Waited...waited, and kept on waiting for more than 5 minutes without anyone asking if I'd like to see the menu or order. No one came by. I stood up and no one asked if there was anything wrong. So I went to a group of hosts/waiters/employees who were just chatting away and asked if it was common to have someone sit for over 5 minutes... They said it wasn't but didn't apologize or offer to help.

First off the mall traffic is crazy but that's no excuse for a filthy environment. Bathrooms are horrible and just feels yucky in the dining area. Food is ok but nothing to brag about. However they have a goldmine for location with clientele that are passing through. I normally like JR but not this location

The Food is Beef but the Entertainment is Aviary! Sad to see what calling johnny rockets has turned into. Tables are sticky and ruled by birds. Menu has basic items yet is very expensive, shakes come out to $7. Burgers are just patties, they're not bad, not incredible, but for $10 you'd expect a burger that's cooked to order. Service is okay but a bit slow, also workers generally look kind of sad / don't feel like being there. Inside it reeked of rotten onion rubbed on grandmas old feet. Had to eat outside to avoid it. DISCRIMINATION AND ABUSE. My family and I are tourists on vacation, and we had the worst experience at this Johnny Rockets. A waitress spilled a drink on us (I have the video), and instead of helping, the staff laughed at us. The manager was extremely rude and made xenophobic insinuations about our legal status just because we demanded respect. She even mockingly asked, "Why didn't you just leave when you got wet?" We spent a lot of money and time to enjoy our vacation in Miami, only to be insulted in front of our children. A 10% discount is an insult. Stay away from this place if you want to be treated with dignity.

The most discusting place I have ever been too many flies flying around floor was very greasy and the co workers left the floor dirty and discusting will be calling departing of health very soon

The food was bland and they charged a 15% gratuity automatically. Somehow a meal for 2 adults and a child came close to 100 dollars.

The customer service here is horrible specially from the manager on duty on Sundays at Dolphin Mall. She did not offer any choices as far as the menu. I needed to order from the kid's menu due to health and was told I was NOT ALLOWED and not offered any other choices. My husband was going to order regular food and drinks. In the future I think your chain needs to be more attentive of the needs of the customer and be open minded and customer service oriented if not I forsee mary unhappy customers.

No one was there to tell us where to sit. Had to find an employee for them to help me. Then it took us over 30 minute just to find a server who went to take our order, but instead of helping us she ignored us and helped other people who got there way after we did. Through the whole meal we never had our server come by and refill our drinks. I had to keep finding workers for them to refill our drinks and find our server to put our order in. At the end of everything after almost an hour and half i had to find the server for my check she added automatic gratuity that can’t be taken off at all even though we’re there on a non busy time and it was only 3 of us. Food wasn’t fresh and we all got stomachaches after the food. The food was ALL oil. No taste but the taste of the cooking oil, our burgers were dry, the fries tasted old. Only thing that tasted right was the pepsi.

My son recently went to dine there with his friends . He ordered a Strawberry kids shake that he’s gotten there before . The server didn’t really speak English so she understood “ Strawberry kiss “ . She never checked in on the table till the end when he had to flag her down . He said the cameras can be checked to verify . He drank half of his shake which would have been the portion , since she didn’t come around to ask how the food was he couldn’t tell her . Once he told her that he would pay for the kids , they called security on him and his friends when they were all paying customers . The manager instead of going to the table told the server that the manager called the cops and security and said they were trespassing. It doesn’t seem like the staff has been properly trained because any rational Hospitality professional would know better .They all have their receipts so what they did was basically harassment. I personally will never set foot in this establishment nor recommend it to anyone I know because of how poorly they handled the situation . I expect more from a chain restaurant. They need to do better !!!

Sat down and waited 10 minutes for service. Ordered our food. Received one order of fries and tots (ordered more than one of each) and drinks after another few minutes. We were party of 4. Burgers arrived 25 minutes later. Burgers were awful. We all had stomach issues later. Servers were running around, yet there were few patrons. Confusing. Kind of them to tack on unreasonable tip. Never received all of our food. Quite possibly worst dining experience ever. Seriously, don't visit.

If I could give this place no stars I would!! Tons of unqualified staff who notice you sit and pass by you without giving you no service. I came in with a family of 6 to celebrate a birthday party and they all passed by and didn't even asked if we were attended. A couple of 2 sat down and were attended asap!! I guess it's a stereotype kind of environment at this location. They all passed and look at us like they didn't need to attend us without even knowing the reason why we chose to dine at this location.

I ordered my burger with chilli and jalapenos, didn't see any chilli, the burger patties were dry so they broke apart easily and jalapenos they must have counted them cause I saw 5 ... The delivery was late? I too work in the mall? Don't understand how one gets lost... Food arrived cold. Very disappointed. Here's a suggestion, have a map available for delivery driver's if they are delivering within the mall.

I ordered a shake which was extremely watery. I asked the waiter if there was any way that he can make another one. He was very rude and started making remarks to his manager which was sitting in the barstool not doing anything. I asked for my check and left the garbage shake. You’re better off going to McDonald’s. Don’t waste your time here.

I went here a few months back and they enforced a gratitude fee on my receipt. When I asked the server about this, they said it's the rules of the restaurant. If I don't want to tip, I shouldn't be forced to! Shameless!!!

Flies kept landing on our food and flying into our faces. There had to be about 20 flies buzzing around our table. Seemed pretty unsanitary. Our waiter was also nonexistent so of course our waters didn't get refilled. There are no physical menus, so you have to constantly pinch and zoom on your phone to see everything. We were going to order a dessert but decided to go elsewhere after the terrible experience. Then they charge you a tip for their poor service automatically so you can't do anything about it.

I went to this place to get a simple chicken burger..well, the waiter took my order and i waited for about 25 minutes to get a small, bad looking burger, i waited more waiting to get it, that the time i used to eat it(10 seconds)..then to finish this horrible experience, the check was irrationale expensive..30 dollars for 2 buns with soda(nofries)..never come back..

Got in with good expectations, since me and my partner have eaten there before. It was fine at first we were able to select where to sit and was able to eat inside, service took sometime to get to us. When we ordered the food I didn't order any sauce with my burger though it came drenched with mayo, though the burger said it wouldn't come with it in the menu. The one thing that really leaves a sour taste in my mouth is when we got the check which is the reason for this review, and is I don't understand the concept of forcing me to pay mandatory tip for the service, tipping should never be mandatory I tip based on service and I don't tip bad either but I don't at all appreciate being forced to pay mandatory tip.

The food was good I will say. It was pretty busy when we went, only me and one other person. We sat there for a good 30 minutes before anyone even noticed us and waited another 15-20 minutes to order. We both got burgers, fries, and drinks. One small plate of fries was set on the table, don’t know why the waitress didn’t say anything she just put the fries down and left. 30 or so minutes later our burgers came on the same small plate even though we both got fries? Nothing else came out. Paid 50$ to have my burger on the smallest plate imaginable and we only got one of our fries that was given to us 30 minutes before our burgers got there. Kind of insane.

Overpriced mid food. The fountain drinks are $5, and a bill will come out to $30 for 1 person

My wife and I were going to order some food as we waited on our movie to start. We walked in at approximately 9pm. We sat at the countertop area, right in the front of the restaurant. Not one employee, including the manager Batti acknowledged us after sitting for atleast 5 to 7 mins and there were atleast 3 people who were constantly passing by. But then a spanish couple walked in and sat at the countertop. Within 2 minutes of them sitting down, they were acknowledged and handed menus to view. I immediately said to the very rude waitress that we were here for almost 10 mins without anyone saying one word to us or handing us a menu. She proceeded to tell me she didn't see us. REALLY?? Afterwards , I went to speak to the manager Batti, who was even reluctant to tell me his title, about our horrible/ discriminatory experience and we proceeded to leave. After living in Miami over 40 years, this is one of the first times I've blatantly experienced discrimination and it honestly left me with tears in my eyes. I will NEVER step foot in another Johnny Rockets ever again in life! This is not the 1800/1900 when discrimination was accepted. I am a paying customer just like everyone else. The color of my skin should not determine if I receive service or acknowledgement!

The manager was rude ..after he asked me a question..he gave me his back. I ordered a strawberry shake it was runny and not thick. It was with an auto gratuity $14.75. The overall experience was unsatisfactory.

They have no shame, turn the napkin man around to see how they charge you a 15% tip. Coincidentally, everyone is upside down so you don't realise it.

Horrible the kids were really looking forward to eating there. This just happened today Sunday January 11,2026. Jonny Rockets should not say the close at ten pm and the actual close at 9:30. Unprofessional and bad for business.
