Good food and service. Oysters were fresh. Fish was lightly breaded and deep-fried perfectly. Rice and sauces are delicious as well. Ran into a bit language barrier, but the lady was very nice and tried her best to explain my questions.

Out of the place, you willhave to hunt for it. But once your, you will enjoy the Honduran flavor. I had the ceviche mixture, and it was simply the best. Hefty serving, AC and video music. Do stop in!

It's odd to find places that have it all, but this is it. Imagine a mountain chalet, transplanted into a Miami neighborhood and made into a Honduran sports bar and restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know, it sounds odd and eclectic, but it surprisingly works. It meshes well, and it's a fantastic vibe. The food is great as well. Honduran cuisine, as well as more common American fare, abound. Service and food are surprisingly quick (at least on less-busy hours) and it's good food, worthy of a palapa. Check it out if you're in the area and crave some good Honduran food!

I went out with my family after not coming here for ages. I’m glad it suited my expectations from the past. I definitely got a bit of a nostalgic feeling after being back here, but the place got changed up a bit; although, that’s not a problem. I ordered carne asada and lemonade, both we’re really good. The waitress that served us was kind and we received the food at a good time. I took a little bit already, but here’s the photo of the food. Would come here again. :)

Stayed at a hotel nearby and ordered this food delivery. This was hands down some of the best restaurant food we had in a while. I don’t know what they do different with their beans and meat, but truly was outstanding. One of the things I ordered was the $45 appetizer with the selections of meats, and I do not regret it a bit. Plenty enough for two, and for an appetizer would have been enough to fill me up.

Right after our plane ride, we were famished. We stopped here bc it was close to the airport. This Honduran restaurant was relatively empty upon arrival. I had the chicken tacos, the chicken burrito, fried Calamari, and half chicken. The tacos were perfect. The chicken burrito had a white sauce that took away from the taste. The friend calamari was great, but not filling. The half chicken was not seasoned well.

This place has a pretty chill vibe similar to a sports bar. I was so hungry after my flight. I'm so glad we found this spot. The food was so goooood. It was seasoned just right!. The garlic shrimp was extra garlicky, which I loved. I only wished they gave you a lil more shrimp. The rice and beans tasted like home. Bathroom was clean. And my margarita was hitting !

This place used to be called Iselitas. Now La Palapa....food is always good and fresh I looooove their beef soup. Their Pupusas are really rasty and the Baleadas are delish....the tostones con queso and salad are crunchylisious. The place is outdated but has cold beer and nice ambiance. Good music on the weekends and the service is good.....definitely a must for Beef Soup.....

Just tried this place out. The food was really good. The service was mediocre. The waitress didn't speak much english and after much pointing at things on the menu and confirming we still ended up getting several things messed up in our order. We tried to discuss and correct it but it was a lost cause so we ate what she brought. When we got the check there was 18% tip already included. We asked to be allowed to assign our own tip and again english was the excuse to not change anything. Eventually she brought some bar paper that said 18% tips were included in all dine in orders. Good food and if generous tips for whatever service you get are your thing, try this place.

Came in from Jacksonville FL. Wanted to try something different with my family. My aunt has lived in Miami over 40yrs. Brought us here. This place has potential to be great place.. Food was good lots of options. Fresh tropical fruit drinks was awesome. But... Big but is service.. takes a while to place orders than they disappear. Customer's having to call out for service because the waitresses and other employees are too busy talking and joking around with each other.

Food is very blend, decent portion sizes for the pricing. Sever spoke little to no English barely communicated. I was surprised to receive the check that automatically includes a 18% fee as a tip in addition to transaction fee of 3%; things like this needs to noted at the door. Can’t say I would recommend this place or not. Try at your own will.

the food poorly prepared without flavor I do not understand what kind of chef has in this place when this place was a successful place in years past, I have visited it many times with my family, it had been more than a year since I came to eat here Today I wanted to try the dishes that I always knew for many years and I left disgusted because the food was very bad the service was very bad the employees, one was brushing her mouth in front of the customers and the other girl sitting talking to another customer without paying attention to what was happening the cheese. This place is very lonely and they lost another customer really how has this place changed previously visited by dozens of Central American, South American families and from all over the world what a shame and the owner is well thank you

The first time I ordered baleadas here, they were delicious. But this second time around, I wonder if they have another cook. The meat in the baleadas that I ordered this time was really dry. But the worst part was the carne asada and fried cheese my boyfriend ordered. Upon opening the fried cheese box, we saw the dryest and stinkiest cheese we've ever had. The carne asada was so overcooked and dry, we couldn't even eat it. It was pitiful. The tostones were also dry and tasteless. To top it off, the woman who took our order over the phone was impatient and slightly rude. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of quality and taste in the food for the amount of money we spent. It was a miserable meal. I will never come here again.

Food here is as plain as it can get. The tilapia was as sad as it can get, came with garlic sauce and was so plain. The rice and beans that came with it were also no flavor, the fries were fries. The music and atmosphere is great tho. Otherwise stay home and cook your own food, i wish i cooked the tilapia the way it was meant to be.

HORRIBLE SERVICE !! Last time we came to eat they served our food with broken plates. We told the server and she gave us a face like if it was okay to eat that way . We came back again today to give it one last chance , and AGAIN they served my husband with broken plates (the edges) . We waited 10 mins for our bill after my husband kept raising his hand to get the server attention.

K
Kelly Ludwig

Went here for a quick bite to eat... unfortunately no one spoke a lick of English! I ordered the American breakfast... eggs, hash browns, ham and toast. What i got was eggs, beans, a square of some white substance ( maybe some sort of cheese) and a flour tortilla. I understand I'm in Miami but for two 20 something servers to not know ANY english is disturbing. Why have something on the menu that you don't actually serve. So, basically I paid $15 for some scrabble l scrambled eggs! Plus the music was so loud it felt like we were in a club not a restaurant. If I could give this place zero stars,I would.

J
John Thirteen

This place is open!?!? 1/10/25, closed by the health department due to high priority violations, rodents found in storage area, rodent droppings, dead roaches found near containers of salt, rice and beans. People spend good money, how could anybody treat human beings this way.

S
Salman Djingueinabaye

Avoid this place if you don't speak Spanish. Called to order and I was asked "do you speak Spanish", I said no and she hung up. Went in and was given attitude by the waitress at the bar. Only positive was the dj/singer had a great voice. If you are into ambiance, the place was empty at 5pm on a Sunday.

I will never come here again. Worst meal ever.
