Latin House Grill is praised for its delicious food, excellent service, and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Customers rave about the burgers and the unique presentation of the dishes. Some were disappointed with the non-natural lemonade.
Tip: Highly recommended for the burgers and the tostones rellenos. Be aware that the limonada may not be natural.
Wow come prepare to eat as serving portions were huge. Great place to go with a big group to share. Service was amazing server suggested their top sellers and it didn't disappoint. We order to start chicken nachos and they were huge. We also try the famous sangria. We try the white sangria and the mix sangria both were great. Also try the mix fajitas and also it was easily enough for 3 person or more depending on your appetite and they were great. To close out the evening you have to try the timba . Great place, friendly staff, delicious food.... highly recommend.
I absolutely love this places! The diner-style combined with the Mexican decorations brings a very unique and welcoming ambiance. The food is to die for! Highly recommend trying out the Korean tostones and the Chimi Burrito which are my favorite. The drinks also have a very refreshing spin and the ones I have tried are delicious. The staff is very caring and attentive to your needs. An overall great experience which makes this restaurants one of my go-to’s in kendall!
This restaurant is absolutely super delicious! It’s a great place to come with your family and eat really good food! Their drinks are super refreshing and super cute presented! I got their flautas, sliders, original burger, their burger of the month (which always changes so make sure to ask for it) Korean tostones and their famous chimi burrito!! We couldn’t get enough of it, and the service was very friendly and attentive! 100% recommended!
Ive heard a lot of mix reviews recently from this place but I gotta say my personal experience recently was incredible. I placed an order for delivery and it came to my house in a timely manner, all packed nicely. For starters I got the chips and Guac! Which is all I ever ask for on a Tuesday afternoon. You can taste the perfect balance of acidity of the lime and the guac was ripe just enough to make every dip as addicting as the last. Followed by the Fried cheese bites which you honestly can never go wrong with especially when paired with their house guava sauce. Finally as my entree I ended up ordering the burrito that was packed with flavorful ingredients, like the chicken was perfectly seasoned, the rice was fluffy, and the fried plantains was exactly what I didn’t even know I needed but it just made it! Overall like I said they knocked it out of the park for me and I will definitely be ordering again. - The Fashionable Foodie
Hello, this last Saturday, July 8, we were with the family enjoying a very comfortable, clean and casual environment. the cocktails that they recommended to us such as Margaritas and Mojitos whet our appetite to receive these dishes so well prepared and delicious, a combination of flavors, crunches, juicy. really additives. I am pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this experience.
Latin house never disappoints me every single time I go. Today we try the chili con Carne It was so good I forgot to get a picture of it prior. Of course the mixed sangria is my absolute favorite as far as a beverage is concerned there and these burritos absolutely did not disappoint. They recommend that you have it fried but we tried it both ways and it was exquisite. This is definitely a place you have to come to if you were ever in the Kendall area.
We used to come here when was regular Dinner. I really like the interior improvements. Feels more welcoming. Now ! The best part. Food is delicious. And portions are very generous. We went four friends. Usually we order few appetizers to start and after we order dinner. Good luck with that. I am big guy. Over 320 pounds. After we finish with starters I was soooo full couldn’t eat more. Thank god , had little space left for desert. Gigantic brownie with ice cream. Lobster bisque was very tasty. Nachos with steak, delicious. Pork wings out of the world. Chicken quesadillas amazing. We have to keep coming back to try everything else. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and the bill was very friendly too. Great prices for the value. Definitely will recommend.
Run don’t walk!!! From the Moment Rachel greets you at the door, it’s just hands down the best Latin Diner food, music, drinks and staff!!! Thank you so much and I will be back for the Grill cheese!! The plates are huge, flavorful 🤤🤤🤤! Last time was the Nachos this time the award winning brunch sandwich 🙌🏾✌🏾🙏🏾
I lucked out again finding a cool new place. 😁 Had a meeting there today... it's a cozy restaurant that has a bar, outdoor seating, & partial seating indoors at 50% for covid restrictions. Speaking of which, they take it very seriously! They require masks and 6' separation, take staff's temp, sanitize every day, & thoroughly clean tables after each patron. It's impressive. I ordered a Cuban coffee without sugar (of course) and Taquitos. The coffee was piping hot and just right. The Taquitos were really flavorful. They came with a few of different sauces but my faves were the orange and green. The orange one was creamy and zesty and the green was very light with a definite cucumber flavor. I really enjoyed my time there today and highly recommend you give them a shot.
The most underrated restaurant in Miami. Try it once and you will never forget how amazing the food is. Start with the nachos and timba you will not regret it! Worth driving an hour for this place.
Just had some lunch there, and it was a nice open atmosphere. Nice latin music, very courteous, attentive staff, daily specials and deals for food & drinks. Drinks were aesthetically pleasing and tasted even better. The server was super sweet and even made a special drink request without hesitation. Food is delicious and love that it's a fusion of Cuban, Peruvian, Korean, and Colombian food. I definitely will be recommending this place to friends/ family, and I will definitely be coming back soon.
FANTASTIC! THIS PLACE ROCKS! 2017: Latin House was one TripleD spot that both of us were really looking forward to stopping by and they did not disappoint! We split the ChimiBurrito and a basket of Tangled Love (with Pulled Pork)....Amazing flavors from both and more than we could finish. The waitress was very nice and the prices were very reasonable...this is definitely one down for a repeat visit should we be able to get back down there! 2018: At one of our favorite TripleD places..Latin House Grill. Brunch time...MacaFrita Hashbrowns and a Breakfast Bread Bowl. Our server, Jose, was very helpful and made the stop an even better one!
Eclectic decor in an old railroad car; good service; food is hot and fresh (chicken tenders a big hit- as was the homemade ranch; happy hour at 4pm; open 7 days- Sunday brunch!
I never write reviews. I have eaten at Michelin Star restaraunts from NYC to Miami and I promise you that this food, at least the burrito (grilled) and poke tacos, were the best I have ever had.
Food here is always great. I just wish things like the tables were consistently clean when you are first seated. Been here multiple times and will continue to visit. Great food and service is usually fast.
Came during weekdays, so service may be different on weekends. Ordered the nachos, Fajitas, and the crispy chicken salad. Everything tasted amazing! The nacho cheese, along with the cream drizzle and the grilled chicken was so good we came another night to order it again! 1st night I ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad. They use their deliciously seasoned chicken tenders, which unfortunately over salted me since the salad also came with cheese- next time I will order with either less cheese or none at all. 2nd night was the fajitas. Wonderfully seasoned carne asada with grilled onions and mushrooms then topped with melted cheese! They bring flour tortillas and a some of orange rice. It also includes different topping options. I ordered Jaimica as a drink on the 1st night, which I passed on for the 2nd night. The drink is too sweet for my taste, as I enjoy the bitter flavor of the flower. But I would reccomend it for those who like it on the sweeter side! Vanilla milkshake was ordered for the 2nd night. Again, very sweet for my taste. While it was enjoyable, I would pass on it. However if you have a sweet tooth, I would suggest giving it a try! It is topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and garnished with two small nilla wafers. Staff was very kind and attentive. While they do speak spanish, they can understand you when ordering off the menu. However if you have very specific questions or instructions, then some communication can be lost in english. I came to florida to visit friends and I will miss this place dearly!
We love this place! This place always delivers good quality food every time! We have never had a bad experience here! The servers are always amazing and the vibe is cool, the food is good and reasonably priced. Our server Camila is always great. Please check this place out! You won’t be disappointed!
Came for brunch and it was great. The place is primarily Mexican but they have Cuban and Peruvian food as well and it was surprisingly good. We tried the timba (queso frito with guava sauce appetizers), vaca frita pan con tortillas, alfajor pancakes, breakfast steak tacos, and everything was tasty ! Raichel our server was great as well, awesome service!
I love the new Latin House. The service is exceptional and the burgers.... Never had better. I'm on a low carb diet, and they happily serve the burgers in a lettuce wraps. The seating and ambiance are great and the music is always nice and at a decent level which allows for pleasant conversation. Now, with the full service bar (and the smoked old fashioned), I think the business is going to grow far beyond sunset ever could have!
Love coming here for their keto options! It’s hard to go out to eat at a lot of places but this place always hits the spot! Our server Michelle was incredibly kind and my wife and I had a great experience!
Okay so you take an old diner that belong to maybe a hamburger joint or whatever then you rebirth it to something beyond incredible this food is a mixture of Cuban I believe Peruvian and Colombian I'm not sure but it has a lot of different incredibly great tasting food. I stuck with the Media Noche egg rolls now when you talk in an egg roll you thinking about Chinese place and the tiny little egg rolls they give you this thing was about half the size of a gigantic burrito and they have gigantic burritos the size of footballs anyway it's really really good food they serve all kind of drinks there also I have they have really good appetizers including the median noche burrito sorry not burritos egg rolls but I'm telling you you will not be disappointed The staff was very attentive the guy that took care of us took care of a 12-seater our whole family was there and let me tell you he was attentive he came out brought the food out himself he didn't have anybody else running for him he brought all the drinks on himself It was amazing he did a great job I wish I remembered his name but he was a excellent server yeah go check it out I was down in Miami for a few days and this was the last day before I left and like I said I was down there for a event to see my daughter before she was going to give birth to a her child and it was a little party for her what do they call it a shower so please try this place out you'll not be disappointed.
Delicious fusion cuban-mexican food, very generous portions. The nachos, the shrimp and the rice were superb as well as the red sangria. My new favorite place. A little bit on the expensive side though, but it's all worth it! The waiters very nice too.
After seeing the Thor, love and thunder IMAX movie, wifey and I decided to check out the Latin House Grill for lunch. We've heard great things so we decided to eat there. Jessica, our waitress was phenomenal. Very accommodating and nice. The food, my shrimp ceviche and poke nachos were quite delicious. And my mixed sangria was delightful. Overall, my birthday lunch at the Latin House Grill was excellent.
Went to the Kendall Location. They were fast and so nice. More Importantly, THEY HAVE A KETO MENU!! For those who are just using it as a diet, may not be a big deal. However, for my son, who cannot have carbs or sugar, this is huge. Thank you so much for thinking of people who can not have sugar or breads. It is amazing how difficult it can be to find a place that is enjoyable to have a variety of good food to eat on keto. This place is fun and an enjoyable atmosphere. Where you can have real conversations with family and friends, enjoying a great meal.
Wow, come ready to eat because the portions are huge! It's a perfect spot for a large group to share. The service was fantastic, and our server recommended their top dishes, which did not disappoint.
Stopped here on our drive to Key West. So glad we did! My pork tacos were delicious and my husband loved his burger. Big fat crispy fries were a nice surprise!
The food is not only delicious but abundant. We had the Nachos which have taken over as my favorite above Flanagans and the Chimi-burito can easily feed two people. My wife had the Ceviche and absolutely loved it. Michelle was a fine server and kept our glasses full and was very courteous and helpful with her suggestions. If you haven’t been here I highly recommend it.
This place is adorable, the food is 👍, and the server was so friendly and helpful. I ordered the chimi burrito and it was a wonderful blend of all these amazing flavors. It’s a HUGE burrito so definitely share with someone! I then got a coffee and a ketology pumpkin cake and they were both 👏👏. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!
In a word, amazing! The food is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. The formula for success in the new location is on point. I have been a fan of this place for years and am thrilled to see that in the new location the establishment just keeps evolving and getting better. For the keto dieters, they will make a "Ketorita"- tequila, soda water, splenda and lime. Bring your own pork rinds to enjoy the house made guac or queso con chorizo! All of the killer burgers are available on lettuce wraps for a low carb piece of heaven, I bring my own keto bun (pictured). You are missing out if you have not been.
I had to update my review. Latin House just picked up their 5th Star!! I ordered the Chicken Fajitas and as you can see what came out was a tray of mouth watering chicken perfectly cooked with flavors so rich I can't find words for. Hungry for great food? Go to LATIN HOUSE!! Very good food and improved service at the new location. Kendall Dr. and 122 Ave. behind Bahama Breeze. Formally the Starlight Dinner. I think they deserve a few months to get the fake grass off the walls. Go for the food and service not the decor.
First time in this place .From the music, food, service it was great .Our server was Maria she was all smiles and polite and keep checking if we needed anything else . The menu was pleasant to read I had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted cause it all sounded so good.when the food arrived which was fast it looked delicious and so well presented it taste delicious and fresh the portions was perfect as well …I highly recommend this place can’t wait to come back again…Thank you for giving us good service and delicious food …
A friend referred me to The Latin house. The staff was very professional and courteous. We had Gabriel as our server and he was very attentive. The Manager Joe, was very professional and courteous he explained the history of the place he was very informative he brought out an appetizer for us for free to try and it was phenomenal the fried cheese chunks with the guayaba sauce was awesome we had to sneaky chicken nachos they were to die for we also had the burrito with the carne asada I highly recommend you try the whole meal was awesome.
Amazing mind blowing food. We enjoyed dinner here more than once on this Miami visit. Chimi burrito is highly recommended! In love with a sause they make Mango Habanero its sweet and fire. They don't bottle it but they should!!!!! They offerd 8oz for me to take home was greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
First time here. Wow. I had this but I can’t remember what it was called. Let’s just call it delicious beyond words. It’s like a giant burrito fried but not greasy or hard. I chose carnitas as my meat. Inside sweet plantains, rice, cheese and other delicious items. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Service was excellent. Will go back! Go and enjoy.
I've now been to this updated dinner twice and can say the service and food/drinks have been great. My wife and I order two different burgers and they tasted great, what also surprised me was the fries it came with which is now one of my favorite style of fries. The server/bartender was very attentive and made a custom watermelon flavor drink for my wife. She definitely made the experience of eating here a second time much more enjoyable.
Amazing modern and innovative cuisine. Starting with the exclusive and extensive recipe selection, from appetizers to finger licking good desserts, to the outstanding quality of service, beautiful decor and very comfortable family atmosphere. Their Happy Hours are the Icing on the Cake! Out of Bounds!!!
This has been one of the best experiences I have had in any restaurants in a while. Laura was my server, she was especial and extremely attentive to my needs. I will definitely recomendation coming to this place and recieve the services from Laura, she will make your experience unforgettable. She recommended a burger to me that has been the best burger i have had in a while. Great experience!!!
Me encanto .
Just came here after my last time being under the Moonlight Diner name. I had a Sunday Brunch Vaca Frita omelet sa which which was amazing. The service was prompt and respectful, food delicious and came out quickly, and the atmosphere still fairly in line with the old concept. Will be returning again and updating this review as I try more menu items and visit on different days and times.
Despite the various awards lining the front counter, this place feels absolutely underrated. We had a fantastic dinner, proving that those awards were well deserved. The timba and korean tostones were spectacular appetizers that I highly recommend. For 3 people, these were perfect portions. The burgers were delicious, but I was slightly disappointed in the small portion of fries.
I would have to say my food was pretty good. I had the chuchi bowl and i feel like the meat was missing something but idk something more fresh like lime or cilantro. But over all the food was tasty. The appetizers were AMAZING especially the fried cheese (timba) and the carne con queso was really good too. The chips were fresh. My son had the sliders & The burger did have a lot of cheese on it. Made it a bit overwhelming. I give 4 stars because it was very good service and the food was tasty. These are just my opinions and i do recommend this place to go eat.
Lovely place. I did not try the food. Only went in for the bar for a few drinks. Good choice of drinks. The bar lady was very friendly and helpful thxs. We did see the food come out it looked amazing, shame we did not try as we had eaten elsewhere. If you staying at the best western next to Latin house, I would recommend it.
Got a weird mix of great food, big portions, bad service and long wait times. My family was forgotten about for about 20 minutes at a time while the only other group besides mine were 3 old ladies at the bar. Maybe I'll just order takeout next time.
There were two things that made this place great: our server (I think her name was Nicole -- had red hair) and the dessert (had the "better than your boyfriend" or something). The menu doesn't have what comes in any of the burgers, but our server was really knowledgeable and did a great job of patiently explaining what each burger comes in. Was also very attentive to our drinks. The appetizers were okay -- had the nachos con queso y carne with the Timba. Both were mediocre. The burger was also mediocre -- I've had better, but it wasn't bad. The dessert was awesome and you must have one at this place! The wait wasn't too long for a Friday night + Covid limitations.
Loved this place! It was clean, had a modern decor, food was great and friendly service and the comfy booths were a plus ( don’t sink in). I went for brunch on Sunday Father’s Day it was nice, no wait. We were seated right away.
The food was good, but the place feels dated. There weren't very many customers, but we still had to wait. The tacos were okay, nothing special. The sauce on top was very heavy and goopy, should have asked for it to be left off. The chips needed salt, they were very bland. The chimi burrito was quite good, a little heavy on plantains but overall tasty. It was large, definitely needed to take half of it home for later. Chose the pork as the protein option for both entrees, tasty and crispy, very good pork.
The service and attention to detail was great! I think the prices are way too high for the menu items, portion, and flavor of the food. I tried the “Original Hamburger”, chicken tenders, and french fries. The Original Burger: There wasn’t much flavor except from the cilantro lime sauce. The meat’s texture felt very rigid and solid, not very flavorful. Chicken Tenders: There was more crunch from the breading instead of chicken meat. There wasn’t much flavor either, but it was a large serving/portion of 6 chicken tender pieces to the order. French Fries (side): The serving was like a handful of fries, very small portion, and not enough to share with others. I liked to pair it with the cilantro lime sauce.
A must go. Great food. Get the chimi burrito $17. Big enough for 2 hungry people to eat. I tried the Korean tostones they were great. Nachos for appetizer were amazing, huge $23. The chimi burritos were slightly greasy but nothing too disgusting. 3 adults. 1 draft beer, 1 margarita, 1 appetizer, 3 meals. $125 with tip.
Best thing that we had here was the Cuban egg roll. They were AMAZING!!!!! The rest of the food was no bueno. Chicken tenders were huge, but had 0 flavor. The steak quesadilla was complete disgusting taste.
Always ordered the flautas on Uber Eats they always promoted it as a BOGO. Last time I ordered I checked out got my confirmation then about 10 minutes later when I was almost to the restaurant (pick up order) the order was canceled and $ refunded with a vague explanation. When I looked at the menu the BOGO offer was gone! I guess I ordered it way too much. Still a bit grimy don't you think? I still gave the food 5 stars because they are truly delicious, and I will most likely order again but dining in.
People may enjoy here unfortunately I did not. The food looks appealing but really heavy on the salt. My mom had the burrito & I tried it gave me a headache after. I was expecting something so different on their menu… limited choices
I normally don’t do reviews but our server overcharged us. Since it’s Wednesday my MIL asked for the $10 chicken tender special but they charged her regular price $15. And for my order, I asked for the Tuna tostones but they gave me pico de gallo, which I don’t mind, but it was $3/4 expensive. And most of the dishes don’t have sides and if you want sides you need to pay $3-5 more. The only person who I can commend is the host who greeted us.
Food was too salted. The chicken that I ordered was over fried to the point where l could still have the sorrow taste in my mouth. Since that was a to go order, I expect to get some forks and spoons in the bag, but there was any. What's a disappointment! I had to wait over 30 minutes for my order and l still didn't get it right. That's ok. Just make sure you guys pay more attention and improve your service. Good Customer service is the key to success in every company. Good luck.
Went to the one by the regals. Went with my girlfriend and our enthusiasm took a quick left turn. The burgers are slider sized and very chewy. My girlfriend asked the server for sauce but he kept getting distracted with the table behind us. She eventually went to the counter to get it herself and guess what? He brought it to us once we finished eating. Took forever to get the check taken care of too. Not a very observant staff. I miss the diner. It wasn't the classiest place but it fit into the area and the food was always top notch.
Our first time there was amazing. Service was great and the food was fantastic. Can't say the same for the second time. The mixed fajitas are 24.99 but they don't tell you up front that this is just for the chicken fajitas. If you want to add a protein, its 2.00 for carne asada or 2.00 for vaca frita. Shrimp is an option but it is not listed on the menu. You can ask for it but the server wont tell you its an additional 7.50 up charge. Simply put, if you don't ask about pricing, you will pay 34.49 for a fajita trio of chicken, carne asada, and shrimp. Our server was also not attentive the second time around. We had to ask for a refill of our soda and water, every time. She seemed distracted and unaware of menu prices, options, etc. Perhaps she was new but for a Friday night, a new person should be shadowing an experienced server. Like I stated above, the first time we went, the service was fantastic and the food was superb. This time, my fajitas came out charred and burned to a crisp. Won't be returning.
My wife liked her food, but although I asked 3 times for them to not put onions in my food, they put it in everything. I sent back the appetizer because it was covered in onions. Then after specifically asking if my chicken quesedilla would have onions and being told it wouldn't, not only did it have onions cooked into it, but it had a random shrimp tail in it.
I used to love coming here but not after todays visit. As we were about to pay our bill, a huge cockroach came crawling across the floor right next to us. It was absolutely disgusting. All they could tell us was that there was construction going on to remodel the restaurant when we clearly know that Latin house is going out of business and closing may 5th. I am worried we ate in an unsanitary environment and what’s worse is that my 22 month old was with us as well. The employees didn’t even offer to give us a discount on our bill. They even charged us for a sauce we had asked for after we paid over $100 for our dinner. Unbelievable. We are so disgusted. No wonder they are closing down. The quality of this restaurant has gone from 100 to 0. Never eating here again and I recommend you don’t either.
People be aware… It's essential to exercise caution when paying for your food at this particular restaurant. We recently encountered an incident where our server mistakenly added an extra ten dollars to our bill for an item we neither ordered nor consumed. I didn’t notice the overcharge and would have paid without questions but my husband did notice the overcharge . Upon questioning the discrepancy, we were informed that it was attributed to a computer error. While technological glitches can occur, it is imperative for the staff to uphold accuracy in billing procedures. In my opinion this was, deliberate overcharging with potential collusion among the waitstaff. Otherwise, the quality of the food was satisfactory.
The place has a weird smell, like a Mix between Fabuloso and food. The service was ok but the burrito was not good at all. It tasted like they have been frying their food in the same oil for months. I couldnt eat it and when i told the server about it, they did not want to make a refund or anything. It’s ok… I lost $25 but they lost a customer and for sure I’ll let everyone I know about this place and my sad experience with low quality and overpriced food.
We asked for medium burgers and they gave us well done burgers. On top of that the taquitos did not taste pleasant. Uninspired is the description my boyfriend used. The margaritas tasted like tap water. The fries were the best part of our meal... The aesthetic of the restaurant has a lot of love, I just wish the food received that same love as well. Our server Sara was good but that’s about it when it came to our experience.
My wife and I have visited this place several times, but we continue to encounter several issues every time we visit. From the moment you walk in, you encounter very rude hostesses, you are told there is a 20 minute wait, but there are open tables everywhere. Once you are seated, your order takes forever. This past weekend we had a waitress that took our order and never came by our table to check on us after that, we waited for over 30 minutes and our appetizer had not come out. We ended up flagging down another waitress and she went to check on our appetizer, we ended up getting our two entrees and were half way through our meal, when we got our appetizer. Our waitress still had not come to check on us, and it seems like the service manager got wind of the problem and came by our table to offer an explanation. We ended up having to box our appetizer, and the service manager ended up comping us $6.00 for our inconvenience. What a shame they are running this place so poorly, we like the food, but the service and the attitudes are very poor. I wonder if the owner which we met when the place opened is aware of the problems. I hope they do something to make it better.
Worst Dining Experience I've had in years. Restaurant was empty and we waited 30 minutes for a waiter. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. The appetizer came out and after 45 minutes we never got our meals. I could have flown to Mexico and eaten fresh tacos before they ever came out. Left after an hour and 45 minutes without getting our meals. Nobody was apologetic or felt bad about the horrible service. Lot of smiles from staff about the horrendous job they did.
Food was okay. Service was horrible. Some tallish guy skinny guy, buzz cut, was leaving from his shift (works here) he saw me eating by myself and literally starred at me the whole time. Man thought I was gonna run or something. Whole time he was watching me and walking back and fourth for no reason. As soon as I payed, he left. Them crack sliders are good, but not good enough to ever comeback, due to this issue. Felt embarrassed and honestly lost half my appetite due to this whole issue. Lots of people eat by them selfs, even tho we hate it, don’t stare at us and think negatively. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
I have been going to Latin House for over 10 years. Since the beginning they lacked management skills and poor customer service/service training. Their food is great, no doubt about it. But, their greatness basically ends there. For some reason they can’t seem to get running a restaurant right. Throughout the years we have dealt with long wait times, servers forgetting about us, food orders coming out wrong, stuff that are on the menu not being available, shortage of food, bad servers, etc. I unfortunately cannot say I have EVER had a good experience while being there. I have continuously gone back to then because honestly I feel bad for the owners. I’ve wanted to stand by their side through all their many hiccups, but it comes to a point where enough is enough, and I reached my limit this weekend. This past Sunday, I went in at 1:30pm for brunch, when their brunch ends at 2:00 PM, and was told they were no longer serving brunch. Restaurants around them are all serving brunch till 3pm. Any smart restaurant owner knows you have to stay competitive with your surrounding restaurants. Well, apparently Latin house didn’t get the memo. But not only do they stop serving at 2:00pm, they actually end it before that. So the 4 of us got up and left, and went to tap 42. Sadly, Latin House will never be a restaurant that thrives, and it’s a shame because their food is good. They do not seem to want to learn from their mistakes. I will take my business else where—no longer bother with Latin House.
After hearing so many good things about this place I had to try it. We went as a party of 7 and waited an hour to be seated, since our table was given to a party of 10 that arrived after. The appetizers we ordered did come out rather quickly, but waited 50 minutes to get our entrees. This was after I spoke to the manager about how disappointed we were after hearing such great things. The manager was not very kind and the staff looked lost the whole night. We decided to proceed with desert why not after 3 hours of being at the restaurant. The deserts were cold and not freshly made. We ordered one desert with a candle since we were celebrating a birthday , but no one had a lighter to light the candle. Talk about a simple thing that a restaurant should have. The food and experience was not good period. At the end the manager gave us a lousy 30 dollars for the awful service and food. Not to mention tables next to us were being cleaned by throwing the food on the floor.
Poor service and it takes to long. Been here for over 30 min and no food has arrived. Restaurant was not full when we arrived. They are nice. But they lack organization. Observe that at least 3 tables that came after me, got their food 15 min prior of my food to be delivered. After trying my daughter’s kids meal cheeseburger the meet had a funny taste. whe asking for the bill advise the waitress about my daughter’s sandwish not tasting fresh at all. All she did was to call someone that came from the kitchen, without proper kitchen uniform and she stated that what I was saying about the food was not true. When I told her to tried the sandwich from her own kitchen she refuse to do so. advise them that I will never return to their restaurant. This place must be checked by sanitation
After they moved to their new location it’s not the same. No room for a large party since everything is booths. We arrived at 11:30 it’s 1:07 still no food. A lot of their old food is not on the menu either which is disappointing. They didn’t even have the drinks menu so we had to ask what the options were for mimosas, beers, etc. So sad because we loved their old location and service and this experience is definitely making us never come back.
Good riddance that this place is closing, when they first opened I remember telling everyone about how good it was, then after a few in restaurant visits service got worse and worse. The final straw was May 2020, when I ordered a Mother's Day brunch box that included some breakfast foods, a bottle of sangria, and flowers. When we picked up the items it was in a sealed box which we waited to open when going home. Upon opening the box, all the food was cold (no problem we could just microwave everything) but there was no sangria bottle and no flowers. We reached out through multiple phone calls and when finally someone answered they said they would call us back, hours later no one did. Finally we wrote on their Instagram post that day how we were missing items that we paid for and we simply wanted to know how we can get those items or even be refunded partially. Even my mother and sisters reached out in the comments in a RESPECTFUL manner. The owners, possibly the husband or wife responded how "they're sorry they couldn't make everyone happy" and how they had a very busy day and it's impossible to get everything perfect, which I completely understand, but all we were asking is to get the items we paid for!! They immediately after blocked my entire family from Instagram for no reason... The attitude they gave to myself, my sister and my MOTHER was disgusting and I told all our family and friends of our situation and no one ever went back. From reading other comments and reviews and seeing how they respond ... they seriously need coaching on how to speak to customers. What's that thing they say about Karma? 🤔
