Came here for a late lunch and the food did not disappoint! The tacos are absolutely amazing, and pair well with the beach themed cocktails. I had the crab birria tacos, and my husband ordered the regular birria and carnitas tacos. All were delicious! The service is also fantastic. I was super happy because I have issues with cilantro (tastes like soap to me) and they were more than happy to make my tacos without it. The crab birria had just the right amount of heat and was super flavorful. The staff also provided great recommendations for drinks to pair with our lunch.
We had the fish tacos and they were very tasty. We arrived early for dinner, which made for a relaxed, quiet experience. The dessert was great as well.
What a cute little spot. Food was very fresh and well prepared and the service was excellent. I might end up coming back all 3 nights that i'm here. I love a place that shares the history of the founder on the wall. Great place for Mexican.
Wow what an experience! If you love the pool and excellent service I recommend Stanton Hotel. Staff are so kind and receptive! Fred and Ronnie at the pool deck are 10 starts!!!! Customer service is their top priorities!!! Highly recommend. Food is amazing too - especially the Smash Burger!!!
We came here for dinner when we stayed in Miami and it was absolutely delicious! Our server was very attentive and she gave us some good recommendations. We tried a few things off the Happy Hour menu to start. I highly recommend trying the Elote. It was Taco Tuesday when we went, which was great because they have a deal where you can get 1 order of tacos (2 tacos) and get the second order (2 tacos) half off! I got the Birria tacos, which were really good. The meat was super tender and flavorful. Lastly, we got the cheese filled churros for dessert and we loved them! They were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. We would definitely come back here again next time we are in Miami.
For our first night in Miami we came across Lolo’s restaurant & decided to stop by for dinner. From the moment we walked in, the staff was very welcoming. Our waitress Michelle was super kind & attentive. She recommended limeade drinks & offered us the variety of flavors which were really good. The food was delicious & served within a very timely manner. This type of service is highly recommended especially when on vacation. Ask for Michelle and she will make sure you’re set!
First time in SoBe and first time at Lolos! Michelle was such a great server and made so many great suggestions so my daughter and I did a little menu tour! The birria tacos are delicious as were the baja fish tacos. Queso was also really good. We finished off with the cheese stuffed churros and they were soo tasty!! We also had a mini margarita tour. We tried the watermelon, passion fruit and mango margaritas and all were super good. We will be back next time we are in SoBe. Thanks Michelle & Lolo's Cantina!
Michelle was so nice to help us with making an order. Food was delicious! amazing service! everything was perfect as usual. I would highly recommend everyone to come here if you like Mexican food 🤤🤤🤤
It's hidden and didn't look open, but if you know you know and now I'm telling you, you have to go! Great food recommendations from our sever Ronnie. Thanks we will be back! They also have a fun looking Happy hour. Update, came back today, May 11, 2025 Michelle is such a gem she's very personable and intuitive as a server. She is a great part of the space and a reason we will definitely come back.
came in here for happy hour. I ordered the shrimp aguachile, chicken flautas, spicy beef sliders, and a warm corn cake. I have to say I’m so happy I found this place and decided to come in. It’s a little off path but not hard to get to. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Michelle greeted me and took care of my front start to finish, she was very attentive the entire time and assured me that my choices were some of the best options on the happy hour menu (except for the aguachile). Washed it all down with a freezing cold modelo. Would definitely recommend people to come here and I will definitely be returning.
The entire experience was 10/10! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or in the Miami area. Michelle, our waitress, was great & took good care of myself & friends dining here. Ask for Michelle if you’re ever looking to have some good Mexican food & a good time!
This place is so special, unique tacos and a menu of authentic regional food with modern twists. The food and drinks were fantastic and the highlight was our incredible server Frank who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, made us smile and gave us the best dinner service we had in Miami. Please go for a dazzling experience.
Solid hotel restaurant. Not the best margarita I’ve had but definitely good/solid. Would go there again. Especially for the happy hour specials and taco Tuesday. Was feeling like I needed some veggies so tried the cauliflower tacos and was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed them. Esp at the taco Tuesday 50% off price! Cute decor on the inside plus outside seating for the nice weather. Good little spot
Best churros in town! The hostess was sour but the server (Louis) made up for it. I also took huevos rancheros and can recommend!
We were staying at the Stanton and HAD to try Lolo’s. The food was absolutely delicious and Martin, was phenomenal. The flavors of everything from the salsa and margaritas to the Birria tacos were 💯!! Martin was so attentive and gave excellent recommendations. 10/10 will be back while we are here. I would have given 6 stars if it was an option!
Giovanny is such a great server 10/10 he’s kind and make the our dinner even better, tacos and tortilla soup is above average quality is amazing! Good ingredients, excellent taste, very very good
So yummy! Molly was our server she was great and helpful with the menu. I got the steak tacos, street tacos and elote. Very good and filling. For dessert I got the corn cake, highly recommended it. The ambience they have set is great! If you’re looking for some great photos to take for social media or to have for memories, this is a great place to go and check out!!! I will definitely have this stop on my recommendation list!!
From my very first bite of Lolo’s Elote, I knew instantly this was the best Elote I will ever have. I will never have better. It was PERFECTION. Each element was perfectly balanced. Grilled, slightly sweet but the cotija cheese, spice and lime juice all worked together in perfect harmony. I highly recommend eating it off the cob instead of cutting it off. I’ve been back home for a week now, and I’ve thought of that Elote every day. My husband and I both ordered the Birria tacos under our waiters high recommendation, and they did not disappoint. We didn’t want our meal to end. The sauce that came out with the tacos, my word. I forgot to ask what it was, but I’m guessing it’s the juices from the meat cooking like an Au jus. The lime juice added perfect amount of acidity to the tacos. For drinks, I ordered the hibiscus margarita, and my husband the Mexico City. He enjoyed his drink a lot, the hibiscus margarita was different but I preferred the classic margarita which I ordered later in our meal! Ended the night with churros. As far as service, I was extremely impressed with our waiter. When we arrived, a loud, obnoxious and rude group of people were just leaving, and yet he didn’t let that bother him. He provided outstanding service. He chatted with us, made us laugh and was very knowledgeable about the menu, making suggestions of different things to try based on what we liked. I loved the interior design and the whole vibe of the place. It was very unique, and made it stand out in its identity as a whole compared to other restaurants where the interior is an afterthought. The bar was especially cool in its design. What a fantastic place. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Phenomenal. I’m so sad we live so far away, otherwise this would be a regular spot for us to eat at.
Specialty margaritas were great, tacos are so delicious, and service (Giovani was our server) was fabulous. So good we went back for a second dinner during our 5 day stay in SoBe!
@lolosmiami dinner, I think the first night we were here. The food was amazing. Our server was so sweet. We got poured on and ran through the rain. It was a good night. I've miss my sweet girl and this time together has been such a blessing PESCADO FRITO Whole snapper, grilled scallions, grilled cebollitas, frisee herb salad, avocado, blanched salsa verde, pico de gallo HAMACHI AGUACHILE Rojo tradito, serrano peppers, red onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, blue corn tortilla chips KALE CAESAR SALAD Romaine, kale, crispy garbanzo beans, tomatoes, creamy parmesan dressing
Coming to South Beach for the first time was an incredible experience for me and my wife as we were getting away from the cold up north. We were walking down the beach and came across Lolos surf cantina and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the manager Blanca , her vibrant personality and the glow she has when she says hi is so welcoming and immediately we felt like we found the perfect spot. She asked us a few questions and then recommended that we go up and see the pool bar and say hi to the bartender Megan. She personally walked us up the patio steps and introduced us to the bartender Megan and it was as if she passed a torch of hospitality. My wife making the comment “This has been by far the most friendly place we’ve been on the trip”. Megan recommended cocktails and explained the beer menu , and you can tell her knowledge is superior in the food & beverage world. We grabbed some elote and street tacos which were incredible and the person who ran the food to us was none other than Blanca herself. With the view and the food and incredible staff , we will most definitely be coming back and for-sure will ask for both Blanca and Megan. Me and my wife were impressed that two employees can make us feel at home while we are over 1,000 miles away from our actual home. If you pass by , ask for them both. You won’t regret it.
Down here on vacation and found this little gem on South Beach, and I'm so glad me and my mom found it because the food and atmosphere was what I was just looking for. The food was amazing, I had the Carnitas tacos, and the Esquites along with a very strong but oh so tasty Mango Margarita on the rocks. I'm always on the hunt for awesome little food spots with amazing food and atmosphere when I go on vacation so I know where to come back to and this is on my list.
Outstanding service! Luis was our server at Lolo’s Surf Cantina, and he was absolutely amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. His energy and professionalism really elevated our experience, one of the best services we’ve had in Miami! We’ll definitely be coming back thanks to him.
Bright and colorful dining room yet comfy and cozy at the same time!! Fun decor and delightful staff. Drinks were yummy and food was authentic and delicious!! Gratuity is included in your bill at 18%. We enjoyed it and encourage vacationers to stop in for a yummy light lunch or a full-on Mexican dinner.
This is my second time here and I obviously came back because of their incredible food and service. My waiter, Ronny, was sweet and attentive. Food came out fast and he made sure to go out of his way to make sure I was enjoying my time. I sat outside to enjoy the view and to get some sun. Seating inside is also spacious and comfortable. I recommend trying the corn cake dessert!
We were served by Michelle and she was absolutely amazing! She recommended the Guava Brava and it was delicious and probably the best spicy alcoholic drink we have ever had. The lobster wrap was 10/10, chips and guacamole amazing, Mexican street tacos were filled up, juicy, and delicious, the chicken quesadillas were also big and super flavorful, and the churros were the best way to top it off. Love the place, love the vibe, love the food, love the drinks, and love the attention and friendliness our waiter had tonight. Thanks Michelle! First time at Lolo’s and can’t wait to come back (:
Stop by Lolo’s while in Miami. The food was amazing! We had the guacamole and elote. My wife ordered the birra tacos and I had the mole chicken, both were excellent. I appreciated their selection of non-alcoholic mocktails. Michelle was great and provided great recommendations. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Kerven is also great.
Lolo's in Miami is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm vibes that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. And let me tell you about Michelle, the star server who made our visit truly exceptional. Her impeccable attention to detail, genuine warmth, and expert knowledge of the menu elevated our meal to new heights. Every recommendation she made was spot-on, ensuring each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The ambiance, the food, and Michelle's exceptional service combined to create a dining experience that we'll be reminiscing about for years to come. Lolo's and Michelle have definitely earned their spot as our go-to spot in Miami!
It was truly wonderful food, we came two days in a row because it was just that good. Food is definitely a little pricey but still cheaper than most restaurants in Miami. Portions are small on appetizers and tacos but they are delicious nonetheless. Our server was Fuwa, very sweet lady. Atmosphere is chill and relaxed.
This is actually a bit of a hidden gem for breakfast. Never busy but has the best avocado toast and french toast we’ve ever had. I’m a Marriott elite member and took the breakfast option over points for our stay at the hotel - it was absolutely the right move. Don’t pass up this spot. Note: we also had the cheese quesadilla and turkey bacon wrap delivered to our beach beds, which were both also very good. They even put an impossible burger patty inside my quesadilla for me, which was an added bonus.
Norma was our bartender the entire stay and she is so sweet and amazing. She made us feel so welcomed. Her drinks were the best we’ve had during the entire stay in Miami. Dee was also an amazing server. The Birria tacos were delicious. We look forward to revisiting with them all. Thank you all for your amazing hospitality.
Lolo’s South Beach is a total vibe! The surf-themed decor, laid-back atmosphere, and playful “tequila and tan lines” concept make it the perfect spot to unwind. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you can enjoy their fresh, flavorful Mexican dishes any time of day. Their tacos and guacamole are a must-try! Plus, the tequila selection is impressive, and the margaritas hit just right. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed, beachy feel. Whether you’re stopping by for happy hour or a casual meal, this place won’t disappoint. Definitely a new favorite in South Beach! 🌮🍹🌴
Fred was so kind and attentive during our time at the pool. He recommended some really great food items and made sure everything was perfect as we lounged in the sun. Highly recommend hanging out by the pool and getting the food.
My husband and I had the most wonderful lunch service starting with a Micheleda, hibiscus margarita, & a perfect recommendation of the esquites to start. We devoured our churrasco and Birria tacos followed be the most precious mini churros. FRANC is incredible! We are so fortunate to have found Lolo’s, and CHEERS “to the ones who are present and the ones that are absent.”
We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Molly at Lola’s, and she was phenomenal from start to finish. Molly greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel right at home. From my Mango Mojito, to the Birria, she was attentive.. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she made great recommendations that totally hit the mark, especially with the Churro ending!
First of all. What a find! It happened by accident because when looking on all the usual Eater, Infatuation, Michelin, Time Out, etc. this place is not on the list and that’s a MISS. The hibachi is exactly what you need when so close to the salt air, but the crab birria is the thing to write home about. The big reveal however is their INSANE happy hour menu. Delicious, citrus forward (not tourist catered) frozen margaritas for $5!!! It’s obscene in the very best way. The chicken flautas on the happy hour menu are also more than solid! We ended up coming back multiple times during our trip because this is honestly the best Miami has to offer. Also — Michelle is a magical human on the service staff and not an exaggeration. She’s an energy healer and all around rockstar. I wish there were more stars to give.
We had the chips and Verde salsa, the Lolo's salad, the Quinoa and Greens salad and the Short Rib Tostada. Everything was really good! Our waitress, Michelle, was great. She provided great service and was very friendly! The cherry on top was that the people in here were not dressed Miami Beach style, lol. I didn’t feel severely under-dressed in my jean capris like I did everywhere else. I felt right at home! Thanks for a relaxing, delicious dinner! Oh, the margarita with jalapeños was great, too!
We enjoyed burritos on their outside terrace at their on-site location. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the proximity to the beach was perfect for us, since we stopped by the beach and grabbed lunch during a layover. We ordered a burrito bowl and a burrito, as well as aguas frescas, and they brought chilled water to the table as well. Our bill was about $60 so it definitely wasn't inexpensive, but it did at least include the service charge. Based on the menu, it's also worth noting that it looks like they even have on-the-beach delivery service - very interesting!
Lolo’s is conveniently located right off the sandbar of South Beach. The atmosphere and ambience is nice. It took a long time for service and for the food to come out once ordered. The cheeseburger was decently good, and the fries were more tasty. The cream filled churros were delicious.
I had the veggie tacos with Brussels, mushrooms and corn. They made it with olive oil instead of the chipotle, because they advised me that oil contained butter. Friendly service, fun spot.
This restaurant has amazing food. The interior is not updated and the seats are old and the vibe is closer to a diner, BUT I must say that the food makes up for it. I had tacos the first night and they were delicious. Be careful, they charge you for salsa on the side. Chips and salsa as an appetizer is $5. I had chips and guacamole and asked for salsa as well. They charged me $4 for salsa. Didn't tell me ahead of time that they were going to do that. I had breakfast every morning during my 5 day stay at the hotel. AMAZING. French toast, pancakes, avocado toast, fruit bowl, and bagel with salmon and cream cheese were my favorites. The portions were large and flavorful. The restaurant is attached to the Stanton Marriott hotel and is a good place to grab your meal in the southern part of South Beach way down by 1st St.
The vegetarian tacos with avocado were outstanding. Nice atmosphere and service. My only complaint (and I should have asked) was that I assumed the $17 guacamole would have been table side and good sized, but instead was a small portion, similar to the salsa that you pay $5 for. Again, I should have said something but all in all a good experience.
We ordered the Chips and Guacamole (3/5), Steak Burrito (5/5) and Fried Fish (5/5) after spending the afternoon in the pool. The Burrito and Fish were top notch and would definitely recommend. Our server, Diego, was excellent. I deducted a star for atmosphere because the outside seating area was limited.
LoLo’s Surf Cantina is quite an unexpected treat. It’s located inside the Marriott Stanton hotel on the street level. It has a small patio area and indoor seating. After a walking and biking adventure, we came to LoLo’s for our free margarita and some appetizers. The bar staff were extremely nice and the food was delicious. We ordered from their happy hour menu the shredded pork tacos and the roasted corn with cheese. The corn was so good and I was not expecting it to come out on the Cobb. They gave us chips and salsa verde sauce and that is one of the best verdes salsa I’ve ever had. This morning, service was a little slow but all in all still good. I had a complimentary continental breakfast and my husband ordered off the menu. He doesn’t like “fry-fru” foods as much. 😂 I ordered the quinoa and poached egg salad with seasonal veggies and the fruit parfait (agave, Greek yogurt, shredded coconut and granola). My husband order chorizo eggs Benedict with tator-tots and he said it was very good. The orange juice tasted like it was fresh squeezed and their coffee was strong, just the way I like it. Overall, the experience was well worth eating here. If you are in Miami, come grab a drink and appz. The only negative is that they add in the gratuity which I don’t like. I like leaving the gratuity based on my service and experience and sometimes (most of the time) it would be more than what is already added into the bill.
Entrance is in the side of the building which Google maps won't bring you right to. But it's a great little spot in an easy to get to place. Great good good drinks. Highly recommend
The food was good here. Be aware though, they are expensive and they charge a mandatory gratuity for everyone. I went in for lunch and had shrimp tacos. They were small and there is no slides. They brought me chips and salsa, but I got the feeling that wasn't normal. Service was friendly and attentive.
Food was very good. A little pricey for the portion received. The Margaritas were so so. To small and couldn't taste any tequila and overpriced. Waiter was attentive in the beginning but after food was served never saw him.
Excellent food. I ordered the Baja water drink and that was excellent. The mix of tequila, mezcal and pineapple juice with whatever made it turquoise was very nice. Server was rushing us a bit for no reason maybe he thought i didn’t have money. Great vibe otherwise though. The location is nice and the beach is a 1 minute walk.
During my stay at the Marriott Stanton South Beach, I had the convenience of being connected to this restaurant, which prompted me to give it a try for drinks due to its proximity. On my first visit, I was immediately impressed by the restaurant's cleanliness. The staff was not only welcoming but also provided swift and efficient service, making my experience hassle-free. While the drinks were decent, it was the exceptional service that left a lasting impression. The following day, I opted to enjoy my drinks on the beach, courtesy of my hotel's beach access. Sipping on pina coladas served in coconuts was a pleasant experience, although the drinks themselves weren't particularly remarkable. Once again, it was the consistently excellent customer service that shone through. While I didn't have the opportunity to sample the food, I can confidently recommend this establishment based on the outstanding service I received. The proximity to the Marriott Stanton South Beach and the consistently friendly staff make it a worthwhile visit. I certainly plan to return the next time I'm in the area on vacation.
Lolo’s: Amazing Tacos, Perfect Location, Room for Improvement Lolo’s delivers spectacular food, fantastic service, and a prime location that makes it worth a visit. The Mexican street tacos and birria were simply wonderful—fresh, flavorful, and everything you’d hope for in authentic Mexican cuisine. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant’s location adds to its charm, but the signage to find it could definitely be better—it’s easy to miss. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were a letdown and didn’t match the quality of the rest of the experience. Despite these minor issues, Lolo’s is a great spot for taco and birria lovers. With a few tweaks, it could go from great to exceptional.
Annibal me atendió :) siempre tuvo buen trato desde el inicio (me quedé por 3 días). Sobre la comida, muy rico pero me gustaría ver mayor variedad.
The happy hour looks appealing if you only look at the prices, but in reality the portions are smaller, so it doesn’t really feel like a good deal. Honestly, it felt a bit misleading. We thought we had ordered tap water, but our young Spanish waitress brought a large bottle of still water, opened it before we could say anything. It felt very much like the kind of tourist-trap tactic you see at restaurants in Europe. After dropping off the drinks, she basically disappeared. Another waitress, a middle-aged white woman, kindly stepped in and handled the rest of the service. Our original waitress only brought the food and drinks and didn’t do much beyond that, yet a 20% gratuity was automatically included. It honestly made me want to give 30% to the other waitress instead. The food was decent overall, but nothing memorable.
Food was OK. But kind of annoyed the server asked if I wanted water, I said yes and was surprised to be brought overpriced bottled water. The table next to me had the same thing happen and was equally surprised. It just felt like a way to inflate the bill, especially with their automatic service charge for all guests.
Mexican restaurant conveniently located close to the beach entrance. Large space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Been a handful of times simply because it’s by the beach and it’s easy to just go in for some lunch. It seems too overpriced for the portions and the taste ($17 for small bowl of guac and chips is excessive). Service is fine, but nothing to write about.
The food is decent. Nice decor, and great air conditioning. A little pricey for the quality. Do not go on an empty stomach. They service the beach and hotel and you will wait a while for the food. Oh and order a beer instead of a cocktail. I’m pretty sure my cocktail had zero alcohol.
I made reservations based on good Google reviews but felt disappointed by the overall experience. Upon sitting down, the server was helpful to suggest the guac and chips to start before we even set eyes on the menu. Of course that sounded great and we were exhausted after a long travel day so we agreed, but wished we had the chance to look at the menu first. The server was on top of everything, friendly, and didn’t hesitate to upsell us on everything. A sparkling limeade that would’ve costed $5 according to the menu ended up being $8 with all the fancy upgrades and tweaks that I was upsold. I commend her for her skill! The guacamole and chips were good, but for $17, the chip ratio was low and costed another $2 for extra chips. The portion of the chilaquiles were good, but it was really salty and the chips mushy. Though there was an 18% auto service grat, we were asked to add on more tip.
Food was very good! Chips, Guacamole, and Queso were great. The churros were also quite tasty. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. Our server was an older women. She was quite rude to us when it came to dividing our check. She threw a fit until it came time to tip. Then she acted like our best friend and hovered behind us making sure she got a tip. Hopefully next time we get someone different to serve us.
I'm not normally one to complain about portion size, but we ordered two kinds of salsas at $2 each (salsa/chips not free, fine) and they were served in McDonald's ketchup cups. I assumed it wouldn't be a big deal to ask for extra but the waiter said I'd have to pay $2 more per salsa cup! House policy. Asked the manager and he said the same. Chef policy! The food here is ok, not great, but South of fifth deserves a good Mexican restaurant. Sad to see tourist trap service like this in the neighborhood.
Was staying at the Stanton and you get drink coupons for this place so stopped by. Frozen margs weren't bad but that was about it. We ordered chips and salsa and the Lolo's fries. The chips and salsa was $8 and came with about 12 chips that were boarderline stale and the fries were not bad french fries but they didn't come with the salsa fresca as described on the menu and we're really nothing to talk about. The server was nice but not didn't seem to know a whole lot about the menu or the drink coupons. It also too probably at least 15 min for the food to come out which is crazy for some chips and fries.
The service is horrible. The food is OK. Style gourmet very litte cheap taste not fresh, Tacos have burnt taste. The server was so extremely rude that I felt uncomfortable. I will not go there again. The view is towards the park on the side of the location. But you don't have actual view, only if you sir on the top side chairs. I will not go there again. I will not recommend it. Overpriced and horibly served.
Unfortunately we had probably the worst experience in a US restaurant. The ambiance was spoiled by a birthday party that was loud and spread far and wide in the restaurant groups of people competing to see who could speak loudest directly behind our table when there were areas in the restaurant where no one was sitting. A bit of consideration would have been nice. The food was middle of the road and the service was poor. We will not be returning there during our stay on Miami South Beach
Stay away guys!!! Everything seems pretty well with them, they are kind and smiling, they even offered me a free beer! And two days later i see that they charged my revolut card with 15$ extra out of nowhere!!! That is a scam! And i feel i just got robbed! I cannot understand why people can do such a thing and get away with this so easily. I’m already in process of a dispute on revolut. Of course i told them in the beginning that i was a tourist, and maybe this is why they stayed on top of me all day for the extra drinks and food and tip that i paid, to pay now an additional 15$!!! Shameful!!!
I don’t usually leave reviews but here to warn others. Save your money and go somewhere else. Some waiters have attitude and the one who served us said this: “18% service charge in the bill does not go to the waiter and only the additional tip goes to the waiter and I need to wait next to you til you finish signing bills”. We have never seen a waiter standing next to us staring at the bill to check how much we put in the additional tip. Food and drinks are below average. Avoid this place.
We’ve visited this restaurant three times because we usually enjoy it, but this time the experience was very disappointing. Our server, Martín, greeted us with a bad attitude and never introduced himself by name. From the start, it was clear he wasn’t really listening to what we ordered. We clearly explained how we wanted our dishes, but everything came out wrong. My husband’s meal was missing the side of fries, and when he asked about it, the waiter replied, “In my three years of experience, we’ve never served that dish with fries,” instead of simply checking or offering a solution. On top of that, my plate had sauce even though I specifically asked for no sauce, and he had to take it back. It’s surprising because we’ve always had good experiences here before, but this time we felt that Martín wasn’t listening and wasn’t willing to provide good service. We hope management can talk to him and remind him how important it is to listen to customers and maintain a positive attitude. We’d love to come back, but we really hope for better service next time.
I can give minus for service if there was an option. The old lady working there was the waiter. Ordered for take out, waiter forgot orange juice, had to go back in ask for it. Found out later when were already at the beach that no cutlery or napkins are provided. And they are charging 18% service charge for this bad service. Never recommend anyone not coming back.
Avoid this restaurant. We were two couples and asked to split the bill 50/50, yet our card was charged for the entire bill. This is not a small oversight — it shows a serious lack of honesty and professionalism. They also don’t provide the happy hour menu during happy hour unless you ask, which feels intentionally misleading. There are plenty of places that treat customers better.
