Mi Rinconcito Mexicano is such a cute little taco spot in Little Havana and feels really authentic. I ordered the carne asada tacos and loved them. They’re simple but so delicious, and they definitely don’t skimp on the protein. They bring out chips and salsa to start, and the green salsa is spicy but I loved it. I also got the guacamole and it was really flavorful. I honestly think I just found my new taco spot. The service was great too. We got seated right away and everything came out quickly. Overall, a solid spot for amazing tacos and a casual, authentic vibe.
This was our first time to this restaurant. Greeted at the door. Taken to our table, waitress made some excellent recommendations on some food selection. I noticed the bakery selection and to finish my meal with tres leches cake. So sorry I didn't take any pictures of our dinner. It was delicious. I had a bowl of caldo delicious res. My friend had the #3, lots of food, enchiladas, sopa, flautas, tostada. Lots of food on this plate...highly recommend
This place has a old warm charm of beautiful hacienda. The price is great and the food is delicious. I have not been disappointed with any of their dishes. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always fulfilling 😋 so far so good can’t complain.
Excellent place to enjoy great Mexican food. They offer complimentary nachos, a wide variety on the menu, and the horchata is the best I’ve ever had. If you don’t have a reservation, you can line up without any problem. The recommendation was totally worth it. Today, they were actually celebrating All Saints’ Day.
Thank you Steven for bringing us here. Real authentic Mexican food. Sooo flavorful. The waitress made great suggestion regarding the drinks. I'll definitely will be coming back.
The real deal. Authentic Mexican food in downtown Miami. The dishes are prepared and served by a Mexican family. I recommwnd the Pozole, Carne Tampiquena and Enchiladas de mole.
We had an amazing experience, the food was very tasty and the atmosphere was amazing, highly recommended, I will go back whenever I’ll be in Miami
I would give 10 starts if I could for the food here. It’s one of my top 5 favorite places to eat. This is real authentic Mexican food. It is just that good. I can’t express how much we love multiple different things and they may have never missed. The prices are incredible as well if you really know Miami. Anyone and everyone needs to visit this place.
I visited the restaurant and the bakery(3 kings rosca) the food, atmosphere and service were good, I order the guacamole, beans with chorizo as the appetizers, then the stake a la talpiqueña, agua de jamaica. It was good and the prices were very reasonable according to the food. I will come back and probably will become one of my frequent places since it's close and there ñ is a variety of food.
They have one of the best Al pastor tacos I've ever had! Always come by just for those they are so tender and juicy and they let you swap the corn tortilla for a flour one if that's your preference. Also side note they have their own small parking lot which not many places in that area do, so very convenient!

The vibe here is really nice, laid-back and welcoming, just how we like it in Florida. The staff was super friendly and on top of things, which made the visit feel extra easy. That said, I was kind of let down by the food. I came in with high hopes after reading all the great reviews, so maybe that raised the bar too much. It wasn’t bad, just didn’t quite wow me like I expected.
I love this restaurant. I never wait more than 2-5 minutes for a table wether it's 2 or more. The prices the amount of food and the quality is unbeatable. No where will you get fresh guac and shrimp on a friend tortilla like here for the proce6meake it 3😜😋
Just excellent food and friendly service. Not a beautiful place. But clean and roomy.
This is one of our go-to Miami restaurants. It's always fantastic and fulfilling. Micheladas are the best. Horchata is authentic. The complementary tortilla chips are thick, homemade, warm and crispy with two delicious salsas. The Chile Relleno, always a good test of a Mexican restaurant, is amazing. And if they have the grilled beef ribs with nogales then you're in for a treat! But all the staples are also delicious: Great smothered burrito! Flautas, tacos, enchiladas...all outstanding! You'll keep coming back like us!
This place was AMAZING! It’s at a great location, the service is on point, and the food is incredible. Every person at our table got something different and we all enjoyed it equally. I would highly recommend it if you’re wanting authentic Mexican food and are near Little Havana!
When I want authentic Mexican food I go to this place. Also, when I need to place an order for an event, I place the order with them. The only bad part is they don't deliver at all. You need to pick up the order. But other than that, this place is always packed. The food is delicious and it's not expensive.
I hate to say it, but my more recent experiences of Mexican food were beginning to make me think that it's not for me, but this restaurant has restored my faith in Mexican cuisine. We had the fajitas, but other people's orders looked very interesting as well. We were sat next to the serving hatch, so could see the orders coming out, as well as into the kitchen. Lovely atmosphere as well, with family groups. The is also a comprehensive bakery attached to the restaurant. My wife said that the frozen margarita was the Bert of our 3 week trip. We had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Visited May 6th 2022.
As mexican I can tell you that it's one of the closest to authentic Mexican food. Like it a lot. Also love the items that the lady sells in the restaurant. Jewelry, bags, etc handcrafted in Mexico at extremely good prices! The prices for the food are also very reasonable. I ordered Alambre with corn soft tortillas and rice pudding.Busy place, relax family atmosphere
If your are looking for authentic Mexican food in Miami , you should visit this place You will feel like you are in Mexico. The food taste like teal Mexican food It is located in Calle 8 but it has its own parking lot. So don’t worry about parking. It is a plus when you are in this busy area
Authentic and delicious food. Quaint, comfortable, family friendly atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. The guacamole was really good, the chips were freshly fried, but the portion was too small, although they keep bringing you more if you ask. We had tacos, burritos, and carne asada. The portions were good, especially the tacos. The prices are really great for good quality food. Our new favorite local Mexican food spot.
Great place to eat. Some friends told me to come here instead of driving to Homestead , I'm glad I did it was worth it the price point is wowowow...amamzing. Cheap for the quality and service. The food was good although the chips they give you is small the tacos where good and so was the horchata. The only bad thing is parking in the back its a mess. But ill be back.
This place never disappoints, the food is very good, portions are big. Well worth your money. Parking is an issue, they have space in the back of the restaurant but it’s small, otherwise you have to park on the street ( if you can find a spot) and pay for it.
This place is one of the most authentic Mexican places in Miami. Located in the heart of Calle Ocho. There are not many spots like this. The food is great and the prices are decent. My only problem is the parking situation but that's fue to the location. They have a small parking lot in the back or street parking.
I don't know if it's the tasty food, the generous portions, the great prices, the bakery in the back, the friendly service or the cold micheladas. I just love this place. For authentic Mexican cuisine, you don't go to the major chains, you visit the mom & pop establishments. Generally speaking, they are worth a visit. This one is worth several. Inside, you're greeted with colorful, vibrant decor (including a large mural of the Virgin of Guadalupe), a friendly, bilingual staff, and as I mentioned before, a bakery in the back selling pastries and breads. The food is amazingly good, and the portions are huge. If you order more than one plate, you'll have to take some home!
Every September this incredible restaurant brings to the menu Chiles en nogada. So this year we decided to come back and enjoy this incredible delicious meal. The service was great, like always. At the end we went to the bakery, which is located inside the restaurant, and to took home several items, like conchas and bolillo.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service is hard to beat and the food is well prepared and served very quickly. It's a popular place with the locals and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Recommended.
Mi Rinconcito Mexicano is a true gem authentic flavors, generous portions, and great prices. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming, and the service is always friendly. Perfect spot for real Mexican food in Miami.
I’ve spent a lot of time in many different parts of Mexico and this is my favorite Mexican food I’ve found in Miami. Our server, Manolo, was amazing - He helped us while we practiced our Spanish with him and was so nice & attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night. We’ll be regulars now.
Great food, great price and great people. It has the perfect Mexican culture in the restaurant and then the food is very authentic Mexican. People are also good and there is Mexican music playing in the back ground all the time. And lastly, there was complementary nachos/ tortillas.
An enjoyable, solid, and affordable local place where they give you large portions. Waitresses are kind and give a wholehearted service. I ordered tacos, which were good; the waitress brought me extra types of sauces, which was nice. I also ordered steak, which tasted like heaven with its juiciness and flame flavor. The menu is lengthy, the cuisine was new to me, but I really enjoyed my encounter with the café.
Love love tamales de pollo Ordered two dozens they where ready on pick up date. Highly recommended
Food was very delicious, all the items! The natural lemonade was amazing too. Nothing too fancy, more of a trip to Mexico vibe. Prices and portions are unbeatable! Highly recommended.
Fast and delicious Mexican food! The restaurant has parking in the back, and the service is friendly and quick. Servings are big, so you can share. We really like the Nachitos con queso y chorizo, and the chicken quesadillas with guacamole and refried beans. We tried the Michelada, and it was very good (if you like tomato juice). We had an enjoyable lunch!
Came on a Monday for lunch. Not too packed, plenty of seating and well air conditioned. We ordered a quesadilla chilanga which was very cheesy and had lots of meat. Service was fast and friendly. Bathroom is clean. Food is very reasonably priced. Free house made chips and salsa. There is a bakery/dessert section that is also worth checking out! We ordered the flan and corn cheesecake.
Colorful, animated and spirited... exactly how a family style Mexican restaurant should be! If you are craving authentic Mexican food (which is hard to find in Miami) this is the place. Casual atmosphere enjoyed by families and young people on dates. For less than $10, I got a huge combination platter. The salsa is HOT!! But Horchata drink will cut the heat. Loved it.
Excellent place to relish some authentic Mexican food. We were a group of 4 people and we ordered lot of food, but to our surprise they got everything pretty quickly! Our server was a middle aged lady who was very nice and super quick. The portion size was good and we loved everything about the place. Recommend.

Place was busy, but I was seated right away. They took my order quickly and my food came out in about 15 minutes. I ordered 3 beef tacos with no sides, and they were packed with beef. The beef was seasoned perfectly and delicious. Great value for the price. I will definitely be back.
The atmosphere of the place is really nice, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a bit disappointed with the food because my expectations were high due to all the positive reviews. The fajitas were overly greasy, and the meat wasn't cooked properly. The tacos were okay, and the chicken soup was bland and very simple. Honestly, I found the food a bit overrated compared to the reviews.
Passed by for a late lunch and had tacos, both carnitas and Al pastor. Tacos aren't what I remembered they used to be, flavor has dropped off but I'm a pinch it's edible. My favorite thing is the bakery right in the far left corner of the restaurant and they have a small variety of baked goods and the most delicious for me is the cinnamon roll bun, really yum and made with whole wheat flour which I tell myself it's healthier eating it lol... Have a go at it and decide for yourself🍋🟩🍻🌮
got some tacos togo. Tacos were solid and they were not stingy about the meat, though the flavor fell flat to me. it's a little bit pricier than I would think based on it's taste.
Popular with the locals this place seems to be very busy servicing your classic Mexican dishes. They offer indoor dining that can accommodate larger groups. There is a small parking lot at the back but it might be full. The service staff was friendly and patient. It looks like they have a bakery on site which is a nice surprise. Food was good and very well priced.
We got there about an hour before they closed and it was a zoo to get a table. You walk in and put your name on a notebook and then they follow the list to get you seated. We just realized we were supposed to do that after we saw someone putting their names. There’s no host or sign telling you what to do. Food was really good and authentic, but service could be improved. I had the chicken quesadillas and my husband had the fajitas tacos and they were really tasty. Bathroom was really messy and dirty
Great, authentic tacos! The guacamole was delicious. Good place to fuel before exploring Little Havana.

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. Came here on a friend’s recommendation and had some delicious food. Plenty of street parking. We came on a Saturday night and it was only a short wait. There’s an extensive menu. We tried 3 different types of tacos and also the carne asada. All turned out really well. They don’t skimp on the taco filings. The place is kid friendly. There were quite a few kids there and there were high chairs provided. There’s also a little bakery inside selling Mexican pastries!
This is great place to have mexican food, the closest you will find to being authentic. In September they serve Chiles en Nogada a dish of poblano chiles stuffed with ground meat and nuts among other things, covered with a slightly sweet cream, a rare find in Mexican restaurants in Miami. Decently priced, good service and the right atmosphere for the scale and type of place.
This was my first time coming here I am glad I came the food was excellent. The chips they give crispy with a good flavor not super greasy. I had the vegetable enchiladas with a side of beans and rice it was great i loved it. They have a variety of options on their menu come check them out. The inside is cozy, traditional and I love that they embody their culture inside the restaurant as well not just with the foods . I also didn’t happen to have any issues with the servers! Gracias , visiten este lugar es bueno .
Food was pretty good. Server was dry. 15% service fee is already included. Bakery service also not good. Atmosphere was killed by dry service
One of the few places left in Miami where you can still get delicious Mexican food and tacos at a great price. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was spot-on. Portions were generous and definitely worth what you pay. While the food wasn't quite as authentic as I’d hoped, it was still packed with flavor and very satisfying. A solid spot for a casual, budget-friendly bite!
We visited on a busy Saturday evening. We both ordered the Fajitas but I wasn't overwhelmed with it. I found a distinctive lack of flavour and absolutely no chillies which I was expecting. The tortilla chips that were provided before ordering were very good and I could have easily eaten more of those. When the foot was brought to the table there was no cutlery. We had to wait for the server to return them ask for cutlery. The food had started to go cold by this point. Tap water was provided and coke is served via a can. The bill included a 15% service charge which did seem reasonable.
Overall just average. Pros: decent portions, food was served fast Cons: we sat outside and there were a lot of flies. The flavors were just okay, nothing too special
The shrimp coctel doesnt have any flavor. Taste like frozen shrimp. The adobada de cerdo tostada is good. The jamaica is ok.

Taste of the food was good. A little disappointed with the order. I ordered some tacos, a burrito, and some queso fundido and had it delivered via UberEats. The tacos were good, but the queso did not have a thick saucy consistency. It seemed like melted cheese that had cooled and hardened. The burrito consisted of chicken, beans and lettuce. The menu on the UberEats app has a limited description, but I was expecting for there to be a few more ingredients inside the burrito, at least some rice and tomatoes as well.
Service was kind. Price is fair. El Pastor was well seasoned with fresh pineapple. Queso isn't dip it's a classic melted cheese style which is fine, but unfortunately we didn't find the chorizo or the carnita pork to be very flavorful. Wouldn't call it authentic but if your looking for something that isn't crazy Miami prices this could be a good fit.
I’ve ordered to-go here many times over the past 3 years and I find that their non-taco dishes are much better. The quality of the tacos has gone down, but it wasn’t very high bar to begin with. They’re extremely dry meats; hefty portions but the meat is so dry you need to drench them in sauces just to swallow. And that shouldn’t be the case with a carnitas, for example, which is supposed to be fork tender. Not every Mexican place has good tacos, and I feel that this place, like many others in Miami, serve tacos to appeal to customers—not because they genuinely make them well or have dedicated taqueros whipping them up. Their other plates are better, including the veggie quesadilla, specials, and non-taco plates. I ordered tacos one last time, but I’m firm that they’re just not very good and I’m going to stick to their other dishes which are more tasty (and tender).
Food is pretty bland nothing really special. Portions are fairly decent. Definitely will leave you full or with leftovers reasonable for a quick bite to eat.

Been here on Sunday evening. There were too many customers as you see in the pictures. Had a great expectation on the food but I was utterly disappointed. Chicken tacos were dry and bland to the core. Couldn’t even ask for a side sauce as they were too busy Pork taco was great, no comments on that and reason for my 2 star Greatest disappointment was chicken enchiladas, they just dipped them in a canned Marinara sauce. Yes, I said marinara and not enchilada sauce. There was no cumin or spice in it and I couldn’t eat it but just trash. May be avoiding them over the weekend might be a better option.
Terrible Lunch Experience – Never Again I came here for lunch and asked the waiter how long it would take to get the "Pollo Mole", since I was in a hurry. She said it wouldn't be long—but it took 30 minutes. When the plate finally arrived, it was full of mole sauce and barely any chicken—just two bones with no real meat on them. I couldn’t even enjoy the dish. I asked to speak with a manager to share my frustration, but was told no manager was on site. I had already paid $25 for what was basically rice, beans, and a plate of sauce with two bones. I honestly felt cheated. Very disappointed with the food and service. I won’t be coming back. I do not recommend pollo mole
