The service was great & the food was BOMB !! Great flavor , I really can’t complain . It’s a little pricey but its worth it . My husband and i got fritanga and it was sooooo good . I will be going here again 👏🏽
when i come back into town managuita is where i come to get my fritanga fix. food is always on point and the service is exceptional
Nice family business with excellent service. The food is amazing and the price is reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy the Latin cuisine. I am definitely a customer for life.
Best fritanga down south I've ever had. I haven't been here in a while so I dont recall posting a review. Amazing food to taste. Great seasoning and lovely ladies to serve the food. I love it!!
Place, food, drinks, service was great... excellent all around. The only thing is it was a little to warm for my liking. Most definitely would return and recommend..
Best spot in Cutler bay. Food is so delicious. And if you go during the day you get the feel of a family environment with the owners and regular customers who love their food
I ordered the carne asada bowl I’m so glad this was so good because I was so hungry, perfect size I only wish they would put some chicharrones as well
Food was delicious and the service was great! Would come here again
Never disappoints. Food is fresh, well seasoned and well portioned. Good atmosphere and well kept. Stop by when ever I can.
Super nice service. Super clean place. And the food is fantastic in the top 10 on my list.
I don't usually make revews because I always talk with the personal in restaurants, but I’ve visited this restaurant some Days ago and I realize they have improved the menú and everything was delicius #yumiyumi
Food taste super fresh and you get alot of it. Cacao is on point

Came for lunch with a couple of colleagues and had a very delightful grilled chicken. The spices and salt are on point. The home salad was very fresh. I will recommend this choice for a fear price.
I came in this year 2023 of February to check it out. And it’s brand new with a new kind of menu. And let me tell you the food was out of this world!! I tried the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The bowls are a 10/10. And as a quesadilla fan, the quesadillas they make here are great. Definitely has gotten so much better since they remodeled. I recommend this restaurant!
I recently dined at Managuita Restaurant and it was a delightful experience! The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and flavorful. Paired with a side of well-seasoned rice, the meal was both satisfying and delicious. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!

First time eating here, and I was impressed with the taste of the food- amazing! Came for breakfast and loved the freshly made.
Excellent customer service but my wife's that's from Nicaragua says it doesn't taste authentic but if you ask him to make something for you they'll do it they are very friendly and helpful everything very clean and nice inside
The food is good, but the prices are ridiculous. I ordered carne asada with gallo pinto and a large cacao..$19.75, i guess they can tax on Nica food cause theres non around there. 2 of the same thing in other places like monimbo, managuuta, or yambo is same price, more portioned.
This place use to offer a lot of variety, lately food has been less quantity and a lot pricier for the amount they offer. Always skimping on portions. Never again!!!
Food taste good, but the ropa vieja / carne desmenuzada portions are ridiculous. They use a measurement spoon basically to get one scoop of meat... I rather pay $1.50 more and get loads of food than feel like I have an entire tray of rice, 4 plantains, and a tiny amount of meat. Less rice more meat. Stop with the tiny meat portions. Listen to your customers there’s many similar reviews.
This place is not what it used to be years ago. The new owners or manager are not Nicaraguan. They must also changed the cook multiple times because sometimes the food is good and and something it taste less or old. Their portion has gotten smaller and their prices have gone up since then. So I stop going there and found a new place that actually is run by Nicaraguan people that know their food not too far from this place. ****Also wasn't this place closed down for repeated violation?!

I wanted to take my man to try Nicaraguan food for the first time first of all we walked in immediately everything look old!!!! he didn't even eat there. the lady gave me small Gallo Pinto and got mad when I told her I want to queso Frito knowing it's extra and carne asada was two strips when you go to any other Nicaraguan place you get authentic fresh food and decent portions for what you're paying. There's no menu so you don't really know what you're paying for and the plates are so tiny Nver again
The cheese and the meat were good. That's about it. I ordered an enchilada as well and the tortilla was hard to chew. The rice inside was hard too. Had something else and it too was hard to chew. The rice and beans were not very good. Maybe they had an off day.
Before the increase of price for the plate you used to get alot more, now the plate is $17 with way less food. Which is understandable, but when the food is not tasting the same.. now there's a problem. La carne asada used to be filled with flavor now is not, the meat is also chewy which before it was good to eat without the chewy. Maybe a new cook!! Not sure but NOT SO GREAT ANY LONGER. GOOD STAFF THOUGH! Have to get to the old way of cooking.

Extremely Disappointed This Was One Of My Favorite Restaurants. Our Dinner Was Ruined When Hair Was Found. Please Advise Kitchen Crew To Wear Hair Nets . This Can Ruin Your Business Especially Being A Item That You Guy’s Do Very Well ..
Food taste is inconsistent. Very small portions . But if you are from Nicaragua they will serve you more . I saw it in person how the customers plate before me was very nicely packed compared to mine . They over charge and under serve . I keep giving them chances but third time was the worst. Tacaño con la comida . Racistast. Que pena Que no sirven Buenas portions.
I bought Picos theres and my parents are Nica trust me ik about Picos.. dude when i get home open the plastic bag they had MOLD!!! They sold me Picos with MOLD!!!! Disgusting i almost barfed never coming back there again
The food here is amazing but I will never go back because of how bad everybodys attitude is, not to mention they over charge you if you dont speak spanish!!! (not even joking they charged my sister a couple $ more for the same thing my wife ordered)...l know for a fact this wanst a one time deal because I've been here many times before and the food is just not worth their nasty as attitude.
Food has poor quantity, and over priced. They literally measure the rice and the steak and give you so little for a price that doesn’t even make sense. I’ve given this Colombian lady that runs the place so many chances. I’ve gone so many times but I’m not going there anymore I’m over it.
Lack of customer service and garbage food. All taste expired and as if it’s been left out for days! Don’t waste your money!
The people were nice but the food was awful and over-priced. The gallo pinto was dried out and bland. Carne asada was way too salty and the yuca frita was soggy.
Horrible service after waiting 20min in line because they were getting the Uber eat orders ready the lady took my plate to the back to get the meat and gave me a pieces of meat with nothing but fat and nerves! Disgusting always double check your plates!
Horrible service . Food is good but for the last three times I’ve came here either I have to wait for the meat because they never have meat ready or the rice is hard or they run out of fired plantains . I’ve told them about this and the cook told me she’s not a mind reader that she don’t know when the meat will finish and the cashier told me her dad is the owner and if I don’t like it I can go some where else
Wish i could give it a no star!! Can you believe I ordered a simple breaded chicken breast they had with some white rice and the chicken was raw completely inside! When I took the food back and showed her and explained that this is VERY dangerous she simply laughed and said I was over reacting. Are you seeious?!?? Please do NOT waste your time or money in this place you probably mess around and catch salmonella!!
Went for memorial day since everything else was closed. So regret it! Ordered sopa de res. It just had 1 meat and 1 giant potatoe. Tasted like pure consume de pollo. And it was $12. They clearly have no idea what real nica food is.
Nope. never again. not about the price but in general the food is from yesterday if it doesn't get sold. I know not based on reviews but the lady that works there actually told the other very quietly to sell the ones from the front because those were yesterday. apart of that it is disgusting instantiazed inside and not healthy. code compliance should definitely have a check on this. ladies there are poorly managed. I simply walked away and throw my food away after hearing the small talk from them. besides I don't consider this a true authentic nica food. I KNOW!
$18 for a carne asada with queso frito! They also served me very little. The food sucks too better off going to pinolandia which is cheaper, serves more, and taste better.
The worst carne asada ive ever had the taste, the look, it was awful gallo pinto was ok
This food was horrible this platano gloria was stiff and hard the cheese tasted like plastic something that was not eatable. The carne asada was bloody and tasteless and the congri was hard definitely NEVER eating in this place again.
My Dad was eating his rice found a dam rock inside his rice he could hurt himself that very dangerous ill never order from this place again. You know how dangerous that is what if was a child ate it and choke and when we call the lady didn't seem like she care..

Back in the days, we are talking about more than 10 years ago, this place was decent. Now, I have no idea how this place is running. The owners know nothing about business and need to get with the program. You are nothing compare to the other Fritangas. Overprice and on top of being overprice you ask for tip in your . Please. Get it it together.
The last is served the food is a quiet the character. The food was more expensive then usual. I would not mind the price but it taste bad I got a soup and it was so salty I had to add more then half a quart of water when I got home. The yuca was dried and taste old and the same thing for the plantains. It was my first time and I will not be returning.
This place is awkward to eat in. The owner is always watching you and making sure the ladies at the counter don’t serve you too much and it’s expensive! Way over priced for the amount of food and taste. The food isn’t even good.
Well where do I start I use to love coming here because it was very close and nearby but now ever since they have switched owners and now everything has gone way up in price and portions of food was reduce very significantly first they have changed the Spatula they would serve you with all because now they measure everything let alone the owner is always there after you order will ask the people they’re serving you how much meat is there left or everything else they have set out to try to keep inventory in front of the customer . Ever since the prices went up and plates have reduced I do not recommend. It used to be a neighborhood friendly spot not anymore .
They are only receiving a one since there is no option to leave a ZERO. My husband picked up two complete meals which completely blew my mind. (not in good way) The cheese was super rubbery , the rice had no seasoning and the plantains were undercooked. The portions were all off as you get huge amounts of rice with less than a cup of meat. I understand things are pricey but if you are rationing the food you serve to customers your price should be cut down. They are completely over priced for the quality of food they are selling. I will never buy from here again. I have had better food from other local fritanga's in the area. I usually don't bother to post but I was extremely disappointed with the food.
Ordered today Carne Asada, rice and plantains with Queso. They must have changed ownership. $25.32 for this. Meat was low quality and as tough as a car tire. Will not be going there anymore.
The price not a big deal I see a lot of reviews complaining about the price $18 for carne asada with QUESO frito. The issue isn’t the price. The issue is the food quality. This isn’t fritanga I’m 100% positive the owners nor the cooks are Nicaraguan. Nothing here taste Nicaraguan the carne asada taste like a grilled steak the gallo pinto taste like rice and beans it doesn’t taste like GALLO PINTO y CARNE ASADA it taste like white rice mixed with beans and a piece of marinated skirt steak. If the food tasted authentic, this place would be worth the money, and it’s not. Service was good tho
NEVER GIVING THIS PLACE MY MONEY AGAIN! I have tried to give them a couple chances but they let me down every time. Their portions can barely feed a toddler child. I ordered my favorite soup “sopa de Res” and they gave me 1 very small piece of meat for the entire soup. I don’t understand how they want to charge me almost $13 for a soup that is all water and 1 piece of meat. I asked if they can put more and they said no, it only has 1 piece. What is that? I suggest you go to a different fritanga where they will serve you an ACTUAL plate of food not something that will leave you hungry.
Food quality now is horrible compared like it was 4 years ago. The gallo pinto is nasty, the rice undercooked And it’s expensive compared to other Nica places.
Always come here for food no matter the day or time but I hate that when I’m not with my boyfriend who speaks Spanish they give me little meat. And the supervisor didn’t say anything and he knows I come here daily so now I have rice and vegetables more than meat. I spoke calmly and still had to pay $16 for a plate of rice only at this point.🤬
