2022 Gluten update Recently we were diagnosed with celiac, so now I walk to restaurants with Gluten tester. Unfortunately most of the food detected positive for Gluten. I think it is a result of cross contamination as even fish tested positive. Please scroll down for photos. The only food came out negative (from what I tested) was the rice. Otherwise it is as tasty as it was and it is still 5 star establishment Recently We were planning to go to another place, but it was closes on Christmas, so we found this one and it turns out to be pretty good one. Here is what we liked: 1. Food. Plenty of food. Plenty if seafood and sushi. 2. Freshly prepared. Yeah you will be surprised how many restaurants started to cut corners during pandemic. This one did not. 3. Disposable gloves on the table for guests. 4. Everyone inside wear face covering. No so much. Noting yet to write here.

This is the cleanness buffet I have visited in a long time. I appreciate the service and the hospitable staff. The food was very flavorful, the seafood was excellent, the shrimp entrees were my favorites, fresh ingredients and the seafood was delightful and the sushi was top notch. They also have a hibachi station and the staff was cleaning and refilling all the entrees very often. We left some space for desserts and the ice creams were fantastic. So many flavors to choose from but the Coconut, Green Tea and Pistachio were my top 3 and favorites! Will definitely revisit this restaurant in the near future. The prices are reasonable and you can find all their info on there web site!!

This is a new place. They are just opened for less than a month. They have a lot of choices and the foods are fresh. The environment is very comfortable and clean. The service was very good. The staffs were very friendly. We will definitely recommend to others. We give them 9.8 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've been in 40+ buffets across US and this is my favorite, and it's in the area where I live)) good choice of sushi and seafood. All fresh. Backed salmon is the best I've ever tried. Only five stars to this place. We would be happy to see a chocolate fountain in future maybe. But it's still the top buffet in south Florida and in top 5 across US

Definitely my favorite buffet in North Miami Beach. The price is well worth the quantity and quality of food. There was not a long wait but great service. Once we got in crab legs were great and fresh. They also have mackerel for on my macro lovers. Everything felt safe and clean. Servers had their mask on. There's plenty of hand sanitizing stations and gloves to pick up serving utensils

Coming from there north where all you can eat sushi is abundant, it was hard to find quality in south Florida. Mizumi is above and beyond. The sushi is all fresh and the selection is wonderful. The restaurant is always packed but food keeps coming. From the hibachi stir fry, to a good selection of hot items and ultimately dessert, everything is 5 stars

OMG. The best buffet I’ve ever been to in my life. The food was amazing. I keep thinking about the coconut shrimp till this day. I’m definitely going to go back. I’m gonna try to see if I can find one in NYC but I loved it 10 out of 10 recommend and especially for the price??? AMAZING food And so many different options to choose from

It went beyond my expectations, the food is great, most of the food I tried was just delicious, the sushi and the desserts also are great. The only downside is the waiting time, I went on a Sunday around 1:30 pm and I had to wait for 45 minutes, anyway the wait was worth it. We paid around 25 each and went home full and happy. I would definitely go back, there is plenty of food I didn’t have the chance to try.

Mizumi offers a fantastic buffet with a wide selection of sushi and Chinese favorites like dumplings and Kung Pao chicken. The sushi variety is very impressive and they also have a hibachi grill. They also have a great selection of desserts, including ice creams, pies, and Thai donuts. Expect a wait during peak hours, but the good service and delicious food make it worthwhile.

I’d give this restaurant 5 stars just because of the grilled steak itself was great. The steak is mildly medium rare cooked and very well-seasoned. I’ve been to different all-you-can eat places similar to this restaurant style at different states, but I really enjoy the food here. Sushi, seafoods, and Hibachi are all well-prepared/cooked and delicious. I love how they have different Asian food choices instead of sticking to basic Chinese buffet dishes like other Asian buffet restaurants. Absolutely love this place! Always plan to visit this place whenever in Miami.

Good food, attentive staff. About $23 per adult for weekend lunch buffet, just add tip. Variety of sushi options. We really liked the spicy tuna with mango and the one with plantain. The panna cotta with boba dessert was delicious. They have hibachi, a lot of warm food options like lo mein and Mongolian beef vegetable sauté, fresh seafood, three soups (miso, hot and sour, and wonton soup), and ice cream. Plenty of parking in the lot. We arrived right when they opened, and when we left, there was still bit of a line of people waiting.

Excellent discovery! We used to go to another buffet but decided to give this one a try. Every dish is perfect! Hostesses, waitresses and cooks make you feel welcomed. Go for dinner it’s even better than lunch.

Perfect. Impeccable. The best buffet I've been in a long time. The food was so fresh, so flavorful, so delicious. The ambience is great, clean and modern. The service was good. The price is the average but the quality is much higher. I know it was inaugurated in November and I'm hoping it continues so good for a long time!

One of the best sushi buffets in South Florida!! This place is extremely clean. They even have hibachi! They have a good range of sushi. I was very impressed to find creme brûlée, panna cotta and flan for dessert here. Highly recommend this buffet!

Honest Review: $20-35 per person. Love coming here with my friends and family every other weekend. Place is always packed, and staff is amazing with their customers and their special mocktail drinks. Food and dessert is also made every 15 minutes to keep everything warm, fresh, and restocked. Highly recommend if you're a sushi person, as well as a food enthusiast.

Delicious! I love that it’s a sushi buffet - coming from the Midwest, it’s not super common. The stir fry bar is fun. Everything clean. I love that they have different desserts and a good mix of all different types of food. The picture is of just my first plate of food. There’s also a bunch of sauces you can choose from. Note: it is still a buffet so don’t expect super super high quality but I was very impressed and loved it!

This review is long overdue as this place is PHENOMENAL. I've been a repeat customer from the time they first opened their doors. The food quality, selections, service and cleanliness is top-notch. I no longer have to drive all the way out to Pompano for this quality experience. True story: I damaged a tooth, due to my own greediness, by making the poor decision to bite into the shell of the crab legs instead of waiting for the insignificant amount of time it took the Server to bring me crab crackers. I continued to eat, very contentedly, on the pain-free side and have returned numerous times since. You will not be disappointed choosing to eat here.

We had a great time at Mizumi. Good food overall, sushi was pretty good (fish wasn't paper-thin like some restaurants), the staff was attentive and responsive, TONS of choices, well-priced, and a large venue. Even their dessert section was pretty impressive with a lot of ice cream flavors and cake choices! We went in for lunch and it was great. I'd love to try their dinner menu, too! Highly recommended!

Have tried so many Asian buffet places from Miami all the way to PBG, I can say without a doubt that this buffet place is by far the best lunch buffet in town! Huge selection of sushi dishes and rolls, seafoods, Hibachi grill items, and a good variety of classic Asian dishes, many desserts and sweet options… Just WOW! I am not usually a buffet lady but this was yummy. Nice large selection of sushi , plus other foods. Fresh variety of sea food including coconut shrimp, snow crab, oysters, mussels, crawfish, and scallops. They also had a nice selection of popular flavor ice creams like butter pecan and green tea.

Wow! This buffet had such a delicious and flavorful selection I couldn't even try everything, and trust me..I tried lol. Every dish was perfectly either seasoned, grilled to a crisp, or juicy as it should be. I didn't even get a chance to attack the incredible looking desserts. I highly recommend this place for dinner, lunch, or anytime it's open. Definitely a foodventure worthy of exploration.

Too much food! I was unable to stop consuming it and after that I was literally unable to digest it cause it was too much and suffered all night long! It is a crime to provide such an amazing food in unlimited amount! Atmosphere was also amazing and everything is perfect! Bravo! Will definitely come again!

This place is freakin amazing!! We’re sooo glad we stumbled across this gem. Everything here tastes absolutely delicious. When something ran out it was replaced right away. There is a good variety of quality food here and cooked to perfection. Our waiter (Jhon) was very attentive and polite. We watched the staff work together to clean up a spill that a child made. They did it quickly and weren’t upset. We’ll definitely be back here before we leave town and when we return to this area. We live in GA, wish they would have a restaurant like this by our house. This is one of THE best places for Asian food. You have great choice between freshly made sushi's (literally in front of you) and your more common Asian food like rice and pasta with various dishes you can pick from. Prices are great for takeaway but also lunch all you can eat buffet (cheaper during the week). Having travelled a lot this is a wonderful and unique location!

I don’t eat sushi at all . If you like sushi than you will like it because so many kinds of sushi there . There is also hibachi. But I eat beef mostly and was happy because they had 3-4 versions of cooked beef ,cooked beef steaks , Mongolian beef and other versions of beef and I mixed Asian noodles with their “yummy sauce” and it was so good , I attached pictures and receipts and menu. I went there Tuesday 7 pm and waiting time was 15 minutes. I liked desserts as well

I love Great sushi, Great service and a Great atmosphere!! I totally found every bit of that at Mizumi's!!! I was invited to go for lunch with a new friend. I had no idea that it was a buffet and I'm glad that I didn't because I probably would have declined. I am not fond of buffets ONE LITTLE BIT......food quality/temp and cleanliness to name just the top two!! Mizumi is 100% without fault! The Sushi selections were mind numbing and delicious! Everything that I tried was delicious and perfectly prepared, even the simply prepared fresh asparagus was delicious. The attentiveness to presentation on a buffet in addition to the delicious food, speaks HIGHLY of the staff at Mizumi's. I'm fairly certain that the ice creams are shipped in from heaven. The driving distance from Ft. Lauderdale to North Miami disappeared!! I will return!!

Stopped by this restauraunt for dinner on a Friday night after reading that it is an open buffet. I was very impressed by the wide selection of seafood, sushi, and hibachi. Stand out dinner items include the butter shrimp, curry pei mussels, and crab legs. Sushi options available included both cooked and raw options, which was convenient as my wife and I don’t eat raw sushi. Dessert items included cheesecake, fruit, ice cream and crème brûlée. Overall I would return to this restauraunt again if in the Miami area. An excellent high quality choice for dinner.

Mizumi Buffet is honestly a really nice place. You really can’t beat the price for what they offer. The food is great, and one of the coolest parts is the hibachi station where you can ask to have your food cooked right in front of you. They have two different prices. one for the afternoon and one for the evening. The evening has more options, especially seafood, and after trying both, I can definitely say it’s worth it. The quality and variety really make the price fair. If you plan to go, it’s best to go a bit early because during peak times it gets packed and finding a table can take a little longer. But overall, highly recommended. Great food, great value.

I recently visitedMozimi, and it was fantastic! For a single price, you can enjoy an incredible variety of fresh seafood and sushi. The shrimp and sushi stations offered a wide selection of rolls and sashimi, all expertly prepared. The buffet was crowded, yet the staff remained friendly and attentive. I’ve heard about this place from a man, who can permit exclusive food and expensive food. The quality is great. In Europe we have also this concept. In Italy, in Germany there is also a limited time but people are more chill. Like after 45 minutes a waitress started to come to our table pretty oft. She even brought the bill to pay. Ok, I understand it’s cultural thing to have a quick meal and get away. We were having still food. :) the restaurant was half empty. Like there were plenty of space for many clients.

As a person from a state with actually good Chinese food, this place was impressive compared to other Florida Chinese food locations. It was fresh, delicious, and good quality over all. I've visited three Chinese buffets in Florida so far, all with good ratings. This place takes the cake. At the others, I intentionally regurgitated the food just to go somewhere else to eat. Don't skip this spot! The staff was attentive to the proper degree for the location. If you're on vacation from an area with good Chinese food and appreciate quality, this is probably the best location you're going to get in Florida.

Excelente relación calidad precio. Una vez sentado tenes 2 horas para comer lo que gustes: sushi de varios tipos de peces (anguila, pulpo, salmón, atún), ostras, patas de langosta, camarones grandes, etc. Además otros platos típicos asiáticos: pollo a la naranja, dumpling de cerdo, arroz frito, etc. De noche hasta el jueves el precio es de $30, los fin de semana un poco más caro. Pero recomiendo ir entre semana ya que la espera en los findes puede ser larga.

Decidí probar un buffet japonés que tenía buenas recomendaciones, así que fui con un amigo a la hora de la cena, alrededor de las 5:00 p.m. Lo primero que notamos fue lo impecable que estaba el lugar, con un ambiente muy bien cuidado y un aroma agradable, sin esos olores a fritura que suelen sentirse en otros buffets. Algo que nos llamó la atención fue la organización , diferente y más elegante que en otros sitios similares. En cuanto a la comida, la variedad de sushi nos pareció bastante buena, y los postres, incluyendo los helados, fueron un buen cierre para la experiencia. A. En general, la calidad nos pareció excelente, aunque el precio es un poco más alto comparado con otros buffets japoneses pero vale la pena calidad precio . Aun así, sigue siendo una opción recomendable para quienes buscan algo diferente.

El amor que yo le tengo a este restaurante es indescriptible, cada vez que vengo a South Florida es una parada obligatoria, es el mejor buffet que he comido en toda mi vida, y es por que realmente no parece solo buffet, da esa vibra de restaurante, no tengo ninguna queja de este lugar, de solo pensar en Mizumi se me hace agua la boca, es un lugar que vale la pena visitar.

One thing I love about Mizumi is their sashimi. Its sooo yummy! Definitely recommend coming for dinner! My only issue with the restaurant is that its very loud but its understandable because there is always a lot of people.

There can be lines on weekends, so it’s better to come outside peak hours. A decent option if you’re in the mood for a buffet and want something filling without big expectations.

First and foremost, I want to say that there is a wide variety of delicious food available here. Reasonable price, and all food is fresh. Although this buffet restaurant is quite far from my house, I prefer it to other buffet restaurants. This is top notch! Most of what is offered is of good quality and good value. Pretty good buffet. Lots of seafood available. Shrimp, oysters, crab legs, crawfish, salmon, etc.. Hibachi where you put what you want on a plate and they cook it up for you. Large selection of sushi. The problem is that none of the food is that great, everything is just okay. It can get very crowded here with long waits so keep that in mind. The staff was friendly.

Enjoyable sushi and grill.You can even have a drink at the bar in front. All food items kept clean and separated. Sushi, sashimi, raw bar and ingredients for grill seemed to be kept cooled while cooked dishes were kept hot. Staff was helpful, friendly and surprisingly always around to collect dirty dishes. I loved the food, the service and the price. The ambience is not particularly different than other Miami Asian buffet, but crab legs and fresh oysters are heaven. On a Saturday evening you would have to wait up to 45 minutes to be seated. They are missing a star because the bathroom is not always the cleanest.

10/01/2024 Today, I had the opportunity to visit a place that stands out both for its location and the food it offers. My comments reflect the experience. Food: A Japanese buffet with a wide variety of dishes, all fresh and well-prepared, allowing you to eat as much as you want at a very affordable price. Service: A large staff attending to customers, constantly clearing empty plates from the tables with perfect coordination. Atmosphere: The people who come here know they're going to enjoy quality food at a fraction of the price you'd pay at other restaurants in Miami. Conclusion: If you’re hungry and want to enjoy a good meal at a fair price, this is the place to visit.

This was an interesting experience. It was my first time at this establishment. I recommend visiting it to everyone. I took off one star only for the service. Since it was my first time, when we were seated at the table, the waitress simply placed the utensils and left. She didn’t explain how things work at this place. I had to watch other people and follow what they were doing.

Went during dinner time and it was about $30 per person. A great buffet to go ! Very clean and has great option of food to pick. If you are undecided on what to eat definitely find what you want here or if you really hungry. The fried rice is amazing as well as their sushi. They do have candy and fortune cookie at the front once leaving! The service was great, parking was good, got there before it started getting busier.

Amazing value for fresh seafood like salmon sashimi, crab and oysters. Although the crab is usually too salty, it is still enjoyable. Their tuna sashimi however, is just OK, not the freshest. There are a variety of different options; sushi, hibachi, soup, hot bar, fruit and dessert so everyone can find what they like. This place is usually incredibly busy at dinner time and the wait is usually 10-15 minutes. But definitely worth waiting for since the food is good.

Mizumi Buffet & Sushi is by far the best buffet any sort that I have had, first of all the restaurant is very clean and you don’t get the vibe you get at some buffets about hygiene, all the food is displayed out in a tidy and easy to access design, the food quality and preparation is very good and the staff are super friendly and the price is amazing. I went for lunch and will definitely recommend and will go back again. The oyster seemed a little dry however the rest of the food was good.

Went here with a pair of friends. What I liked most was the 10% coupon they accepted. The décor is stylish, but it needs some acoustic tile or interesting fabric art, tapestries, to cut down on the high ambient noise level. I liked the great assortment of mollusks and crustaceans. Bottom line: the place is good. Nothing is objectionable. Salads are cold and plenty of ingredients. The prepared ones are good, especially the seafood salads. The cooked food was all served at their proper temperatures. They had a well-thought-out sushi and sashimi area. Too many rolls to decide on. Their beers are cold and served by a very nice, willing server. Their recipes were unexceptional, maybe with some of their sushi rolls. Everything cooked was minimally seasoned, predictably inoffensive, not outstanding, followed the usual American taste level especially for deep-fried food which is golden and crispy. Soups were flavorful, especially the hot and sour. Their beef was average quality present in a few of their dishes. Not bad. Not exceptional. The Hibachi cooks were very willing to make it as you like. Desserts were the same old same old found at most other buffets. Made in a gigantic bakery/factory, the baked things are edible, unexceptional. The fruit selection is good and the ice cream refreshing. The bar is in the front as you enter, a welcome sight to this thirsty guy.

You really can’t go wrong with Mizumi, we have been here consistently for the last few years and it’s solid. I’ll start with the cons, and that is usually the service, the servers usually don’t really seem to care all that much and come to check on you maybe once or twice during the whole meal. The cooked sushi is usually cold and stale, but I can’t really complain considering there isn’t really a way to keep it fresh 24/7. With that being said the quality for the amount of variety is really good, the cold sushi is very solid, and the hibachi always delivering great food. I think their assortments of desserts could be better in both quality and quantity, but considering what you pay for I give mizumi a 4/5. Best to come weekdays before 2 for more bang for your buck.

I recently had lunch at Mizumi Buffet and Sushi, and it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was fresh, and the restaurant itself was clean with a modern and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a smooth dining experience. However, the food, despite its freshness, lacked flavor. The sushi and other dishes were underwhelming in taste, leaving much to be desired. The desserts were also a disappointment, lacking the quality and flavor you'd expect. On the bright side, the pricing was reasonable for the variety offered. If you're looking for a place with fresh food, great service, and a nice ambiance, Mizumi might be worth a try, but don't expect to be blown away by the flavors.

Mizumi Buffet & Sushi is a decent spot if you’re craving variety. The selection is pretty big, especially with the sushi options and the usual buffet staples. Some dishes were fresh and flavorful, while others felt like they had been sitting out a little too long. The atmosphere was okay—nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a casual meal. Service was average. Staff were polite, but drink refills and plate clearing were a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s not a bad place if you’re really hungry and want a lot of options, but it didn’t quite stand out enough for me to rate it higher. I’d consider going back, just maybe not during peak hours

The place is fantastic as well as the food. Everything is delighfull. BUT...I think you need to improve the service, because at the end of the meal, thay want to be tiped, which is fine, but then you need to give at least a good service. I was there just now. Our waitress was chating with another one and didn't notice we were there. We were waiting for a while for our drink order. If you provide so little service face-to-face with the costumer, at least, do it right

We went to this spacious and clean buffet with some friends for lunch around 12:30 on Wednesday. The main entrance was well-decorated, and there were plenty of tables available. The buffet offered Chinese and Japanese food with a large variety to choose from. My favorite was the sushi as the fish was fresh, and it was enjoyable to watch them being made. There was also a selection of fresh shellfish such as shrimp and mussels. However, the Chinese section was not very tasty, except for the spring rolls, everything lacked flavor. The desserts were not fresh and some were tasteless. The price per person for lunchtime was $19.99.

The food was mediocre. Not many protein options to choose from, the general tsos chicken was very tough. We went in right at opening 11:30 and food was already cold and did not have much flavor. Service was fine but would not return.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. The hostesses at the entrance were extremely rude, disrespectful, and had an insulting attitude toward guests. From the very beginning, they made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were a burden rather than customers. Their behavior completely ruined our night. This level of service is unacceptable.

Everything seemed to go perfectly fine, the selection of rolls is good for the price and the amount of options available is overwhelming. What I was not expecting is to have every single shrimp (cooked and uncooked) to be dirty and still have the veins (waste) in them. I tried to speak to a manager but they all dismissed me so, I went and serve myself several shrimp to see if someone simply made a mistake but no, out of the two plates I served myself they were all in similar condition. Shame on this place for serving dirty, nasty sea food, independent of the price.

This sushi buffet place is a must-visit for any sushi lover. The variety and quality of the sushi dishes are impressive, with classic and adventurous options available. This hibachi buffet sucks. Ginza, which is like 5 minutes away from this hibachi buffet is much better tasting and have better desserts. This buffet has the worse selection of desserts from any hibachi buffet place I ever visited. The fried rice tastes burnt and bland. The food from the hibachi station was bland and tasteless. The best habachi place is Chowtime and the ginza. This buffet place is over priced, poor quality food, bland food, and limited desserts. I would not recommend this place

I wouldn't come back! The crabs was so salty. The waitress served the tea without telling the customer there will be an extra charge. The hot foods were so so. Nothing impressive and nothing delicious. We waited for 1hr to get the table. The men washroom is so dirty.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, making us feel completely unwelcome. The service was slow, and when the food finally arrived, it was terrible. No flavor, poor presentation, and definitely not worth the high prices. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back.

The food is great. The only problem is the lady who changes the food at the buffet in the back, where the noodles and wings are. She gets very upset when teens or kids are grabbing food, which is awful because I had my kids with me. She was staring and giving bad looks and even threw the spoon to the other side. She has very thin eyebrows and wears her hair pulled back. She is very unpleasant to see while getting food because of the awful, staring looks she gives.

Both my husband and I got food poisoning. We were in Home Depot and he barely made it to the bathroom. Then in a half hour mine started. We really liked this place.

My wife and I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. The place was extremely dirty and unpleasant from the moment we walked in. Everything felt neglected and unhygienic. The food was disgusting, poorly prepared, and completely unacceptable. The service was rude and unprofessional, and the overall atmosphere was awful. Nothing about this visit was positive. It was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had.

Absolutely disappointing from start to finish. The staff was rude, inattentive, and clearly didn’t care about customer service. The food was cold, tasteless, and poorly prepared. When the two of us finished our meal, we were asked to pay a minimum of $10–15 in tips. When I refused and left only $3–5 as a tip, she gave me a very nasty look, as if I were worthless, threw the pen down, and aggressively walked over to start grabbing and taking the plates from our table.

I am writing to report an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience I had at Mizzumi Buffet. My family and I visited the restaurant as a group of five. We waited for more than an hour to be seated, even though several tables became available that could have easily been combined to accommodate us. Instead of making a simple and logical adjustment, the staff continued seating guests who arrived after us while we were ignored. When I politely asked an employee why we were still waiting despite open tables, she began laughing at me because of my accent. I asked her directly, “Are you laughing at me?” and she continued to laugh. This behavior was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unprofessional. I requested to speak with the manager, expecting the situation to be handled properly. Unfortunately, nothing was done. No apology was offered, no corrective action was taken, and the employee was allowed to continue behaving disrespectfully toward me. Despite this degrading treatment, we still stayed and had our meal. However, the most shocking part came at the end. When the bill arrived, my husband was told directly by staff: “Your wife made a comment, so I am charging you full price.” This statement made it clear that we were being punished for speaking up about poor service and discriminatory behavior. Instead of taking responsibility, the restaurant chose to retaliate against us for expressing a legitimate concern. Mocking a customer for their accent is discrimination. Allowing that behavior to continue without intervention is a failure of management. Charging a customer out of spite for raising an issue is completely unethical. This was not just bad service – it was humiliation, retaliation, and a total lack of professionalism from start to finish. No customer should ever be treated this way. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed by the owner or corporate management.
