Best happy hour prices and quality food! Kind and accommodating service. We enjoyed a beautiful Brunello by the glass at 50%off. The baked wings w Gorgonzola sauce is juicy, flavorful and the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the full sized prosciutto, Gorgonzola and fig pizza. It was delicious and offered a great harmony of flavors. We can’t wait for our next visit and explore the rest of the menu.
We were headed to another place, but saw the patio of this place and came in. top service, and the food was delicious. i have linguine vongole everywhere i go and can tell this was worth trying, tasty, fresh, well prepared. the pizza with prosciutto and gorgonzola was also very good. tried local beer from the prison pals.
Strada in the Grove offers a charming, neighborhood-driven Italian dining experience that feels warm, intimate, and genuinely inviting. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, with the kind of glow and energy that makes you want to linger over a long meal. The pasta dishes are consistently well executed, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, while the mains and appetizers have that comforting, homemade quality that keeps people coming back. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe strikes a balance between casual and elevated. Whether for a date night or an easy dinner with friends, Strada delivers reliable, heartfelt Italian cooking in one of Coconut Grove’s most charming settings.
Excellent dinner. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ravioli with squid ink, crab and lobster (A+). And the service was exceptional - our server was Dannon, and he was charming, attentive, and really made it a lovely dinner experience (A+++).
STRADA in the Grove Restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes, including pizzas, risottos, pastas, fish, chicken, meat, and salads. It has a terrace, allowing for outdoor dining. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is excellent.
This is Strada at the new location in Coconut Grove. The food is as delicious as always. The new location is much bigger and cosier than the old one just accross the street. The price is reasonable too! Must try!!!
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Miami. The service here is amazing. Thanks to our server Gilson who was so nice to us yesterday. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the Pisco Pear, Polenta Frittata and the Porcini Pasta, it’s sooo creamy and tasty. Everything in the menu is to die for. The spot is wonderful a cute little corner in the heart of Coconut Grove. I’ll keep coming back over and over. ❤️
Dannon is the best, so kind, amazing service, 100% recomed. I feel at home. The food delicious
I approached the re-opening of this restaurant with a great deal ok skepticism… their prior transition prompted by the closing of their space across the street left us regulars in a whirlwind of changed menus and staff. This Strada 2.0 has kept a lot of the same dishes many of us were us to - the pizzas are still the best in Miami. Where they really outdid themselves was in the staff. Way to go Strada on bringing back your best asset - your people! Walking back into a familiar place and running into friendly faces, the likes of Mariana and Danon, really made all the difference. Congrats and much success!
Ivan’s service was spectacular. All his recommendations were phenomenal.
We came to Strada for our daughter’s graduation lunch. The atmosphere, food and service were amazing. They accommodated our large group of 12 and the server Ivan S. was attentive along with the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend you go by and taste these plates: Fritto Misto, Diavola pizza, & Ravioli D’aragosta.
Food and service was excellent! Ivan, our server, was so kind and took such good care of us! Will be coming back.
So glad strada is back! After 11 long months, walking back into strada felt like reuniting with an old friend—and it did not disappoint. The pizzas are just as incredible as I remembered but what truly sets this place apart is the service. Mariana and Denon made the experience unforgettable—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel their passion for what they do, and it elevates everything about the visit. If you haven’t been yet, go. If you’ve been before, you already know it’s worth returning. strada in the Grove is back—as great as ever.
Everything was fine, not outstanding but a cut above average. The Carbonara, however, was a total disappointment. The sauce was bland and curdly. The pancetta, or maybe it was ham, did not contribute to the characteristic carbonara flavor. Definitely the chef should gain more experience with this dish. In short I do not recommend it.
New favorite place!!! The burrata, the focaccia, THE PIZZA!!! THE DRINKS!!!!! If it’s on your list, go. You will not be disappointed!
Quick and friendly service, delicious food and reasonable prices.
Awesome food and service. Our waiter Dannon was super kind and welcoming. Topped off with excellent cuisine made for an all around great experience.
Such a pleasure to be back at Strada! Ivan was the best server and walked us through the menus and gave us great recommendations. Hope to be back very soon!
Ivan our server excellent. Friendly on point. Food excellent, atmosphere amazing Thanks Ivan for being great. We will definitely come back and see you
What a nice place and incredibly nice staff!!! We decided to try this restaurant during Miami Spice, the Miami Spice Menu was exceptional, and service was an absolute dream! Raul was an expert at making us feel appreciated and may us enjoyed our lunch so much because he was on point!!! The food is fresh, flavorful and so YUMMY!! We had options and from beginning to end. No rushing just savoring our food and the place its no nice. We were pleased to give it a try, and will come again! Thank you!
Perfect for a Saturday afternoon, some good drinks and food, specially the pizza and the pasta. Ask for Ivan he is the best waiter, really attentive and friendly!
I can't speak to the food because I only came in for a drink at the bar. I had lunch at another place nearby (which was awful) and decided to just have a glass of wine here. Very welcoming and attentive. Good wine. The food looked incredible, so I'll be back for that.
Had a great experience , the manager Fabian Leon was super helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly as well as coordinated my 13th year old daughter’s Bday dinner and was attentive, timely responsive, helpful and very kind.
A complete dining experience is measured not only by how a food taste but of the environment, professionalism, and presence that a restaurant brings. Many places get 1 or 2 of these things right but rarely do we see a restaurant just get it all right. Well, Strada in the Grove did and flawlessly. We made a reservation ahead of time for a party of 8 for a small celebration. My friend was planning on using this venue for her bridal shower in the near future and what better way to experience it than to actually dine there. The moment I stepped into the restaurant I was immediately blown away. The interior designing was impeccable and the feel of the restaurant was homey and warm yet bold. I know sounds super weird but hear me out. It felt like the place you can have an intimate date with a loved one, or brings friends to reminisce of all the good times type of vibe. But alright now onto the highlight of the night, LE FOOD. I started off with a plate of calamari, and the presentation for this dish was beautiful. The calamari itself was extra crunchy, mixed in with a wrapped lemon so you don’t get seeds on your calamari, and a side of this white sauce that I was consistently drowning each bite in. After much debating on what I should have as my main dish I settled on the Filet Mignon... WOWOWOWOW The meat was extremely tender, bathe in this mushroom sauce that will bring tears to the mightiest of men, and a manchego cheese risotto(Yes you read that right, MANCHEGO) that was the absolute show stopper. Overall, incredible experience and I will definitely be back soon. -The Fashionable Foodie
An experience we won’t forget. The dinner, dessert, and coffee were delicious and a wonderful ending to our vacation.
The perfect way to end our vacation in Miami Beach! The food, service, and atmosphere is above 5 stars. Sit outside and watch the world go by!
Very good Italian food, service is amazing and great atmosphere 👌 Definitely a place to go when in grove...
Impeccable Service by Ivan. Food is amazing. Great experience. Excellent value.
My server Dannon gave us spectacular service. Best I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t like a dish and he immediately took it back and make my experience better for me. Food was great, atmosphere was great but what really made my time here a great time was my server Damon. He’s attentive to our needs, very knowledgeable on the menu and it’s a great person to talk to. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have had Dannon as my server.
It’s great to be back at Strada. The new 2.0 version looks spectacular, and the service and menu items are just as great as they always were. We had a great early dinner tonight thanks to the same friendly staff members that used to take care of us and our guests before the remodel. We’ll definitely be back soon. Sebastian, Ivette & Nina
Farinelli and Strada were two of my favorite restaurants over the last several years until they both closed last year. I am really happy to see that after nearly a year of remodeling the location Strada has opened again! The food is the best of both of the previous restaurants and the patio setting is fantastic. Somehow, they got many of the same staff back. Great venue for Italian food. My personal favorites are the cheese and meat selection for an appetizer and the Oso Buco for a main course, but there are many good options.
Strada is my favorite destination for an informal family meal in Coconut Grove. Food is great, and service is the best. Kudos for Ronald, Gilson, and the Strada team.
Love the new Strada. So glad they reopened. Dannon was our server and we felt so taken care of. He was so helpful with menu suggestions and lots of fun. Food was even better than I remembered. We will be back.
The newly revamped Strada in The Grove is everything Strada + Farinelli used to be, plus more. With a blended concept, a combined menu, and the comfort of the larger space, Strada now offers a wider tier of options for all budgets, while preserving its original upscale Italian charm. We had a fantastic lunch and have Ivan to thank for flawless and friendly service, as we add the new Strada to our monthly foodie rotation.
Dannon is the best server ever he made sure we had an amazing time and went above and beyond in taking care of us! He is a delight and I would recommend anyone that dines with them to find him (and tip him well!). We asked him to take our photo and left us one too to remember him by; thank you dan!!! We will be back!!
Dan was amazing, right on point with our needs, paying attention to detail. We were there before but now we need to seat in Dan’s section. Food was great as usual but service was top notch.
Never dissapointed! I love this place! Always amazing food and amazing services! Mariana did an amazing job explaining they menu with knowledge and professionalism! I definitly Will come back
Ate at Strada with a group for Brunch! The brunch deal for 2 people is great, you pick two entries, one desert and bottomless mimosas or Bellinis. Friends said that they used to include coffee, which would’ve been really nice, but they no longer do. Their brunch selections were delicious! I would definitely recommend and go again.
We have been patrons of Strada for many many years and were so pleased with the new venue. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was great but the bartenders Federico and Laura made it even better. They even made us a creative drink especially to tailored to our liking. Grazie bravissimo.
Our first time back at Strada since the reopening and it did not disappoint! We were thrilled to see some of our favorite dishes along with exciting new menu items. We were served by Dan, who we remember from Farinelli’s — he’s an outstanding server who made excellent recommendations and made our night extra special. The food was as delicious as ever, and the service top-notch. Great job to the team for bringing back Strada better than ever!
Thanks to Andy at the bar for such a great service. We went there to have dinner and some drinks and he really made our evening so much better. The food was delicious as usual.
Great food and even better service. Dannon was our waiter and he couldn’t be more helpful and nice. He made our night!
10/10 First time trying this restaurant and it was so good! Will definitely be back! Dannon gave us all the best tips on the best dishes!
We had such a wonderful dinner at Strada in the Grove! From start to finish, everything was excellent. Our waiter Dan was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and so warm in his service. He made great recommendations and really elevated our experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the bruschetta and lamb meatballs, both packed with flavor and beautifully presented. For mains, we tried the carbonara and the lasagna—rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Between the cozy atmosphere, incredible food, and Dan’s exceptional service, Strada is a gem in the Grove. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely amazing experience. Ivan guided through the menu and gave excellent suggestions that paired perfectly with our wine. We followed his lead and it did not disappoint. The service here took it to the next level. All I can say is: fabulous!
The best lasagna, my daughter loved it! The services was very gentle and professional, Mariana. Thank you for the recommendation and also the patience. Every cocktail amazing, and pizza was the top notch
Absolutely amazing experience at Strada in the Grove! This is one of the few places in Miami where I can truly enjoy a perfect Limoncello Spritz, and it was outstanding. I ordered the Cartoccio al Frutti di Mare and it was absolutely exquisite, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My husband ordered the Pappardelle con Crema di Porcini and it was delicious, rich, and perfectly cooked. My mom had the lasagna, which was amazing as well. Everything we tried was exceptional. We celebrated my birthday there with 30 guests, and everyone loved the food. The pizzas were a huge hit, absolutely delicious, and the cannolis are on another level. As a special and very kind gesture, they even cut my birthday cake for us, which we truly appreciated. I want to give a special thank you to Cecilia, the manager, and her entire team for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail. And a very special thanks to our server for being so kind, attentive, and making our celebration feel truly special. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
Hosted my daughter’s baby shower here on a Saturday. Coordinated the event with Fabian Leon, the manager. He was exceedingly helpful and accommodating to our party. The service was outstanding, the food was spectacular, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend hosting your next event here, and organizing with Fabian. Thank you to everyone who helped make our afternoon truly special.
Phenomenal authentic Italian restaurant with excellent menu in Coconut Grove. One of the best outdoor seats in the area. Service superb Food delicious Wine selection, great Amazing experience Our server, Ivan was amazing. Their pasta is really authentic and they’re specials were phenomenal not to mention Nutella cheesecake. Everything was superb. Our waiter was awesome. We’ll definitely return
Ivan was an excellent waiter. I went there with some friends to celebrate our collective birthdays. Our waiter, Ivan, brought us a delicious tiramisu to share and sang to us. The food was delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I suggest you go at night for the lighted trees and the ambiance.
I love their BAKED chicken wings and they have homemade chili oil if you love spice. The mista salad is delicious. Kind and attentive staff.
We came in on Saturday and had such an incredible experience, all thanks to Mariana From the moment we were seated, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Her personality truly shines she’s warm, friendly, and has such a bright energy that made the whole dining experience feel special. She took the time to get to know what we liked and gave us the best recommendations. Every suggestion she made were perfect and made our meal even more enjoyable. While we didn’t care much for the bread pudding everything else was absolutely delicious and honestly, her amazing service more than made up for it. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel valued, but Mariana did exactly that. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and kindness stood out in such a big way. We haven’t had service like that anywhere else, and because of her, we’ll definitely be coming back and we’ll only ask for her to serve us again!
Me encantó ! No se porque lo cerraron pero espero que lo vuelvan a abrir pronto.
Very good Italian restaurant In the Grove area. In general the food is good with a great staff. The fried Calamari is a must for appetizers. Most of the pastas are very good. Look at the picture’s comments. The skirt steak was too salty and not tender enough for that price range. I will be back to taste some more things
The service was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet, which I like. You are able to have a conversation with your guests easily. I had the spaghetti carbonara which looked beautiful when they brought it but it was bland. My wife, cousin, and his wife seemed to enjoy their food well enough. The place is expensive but then again you can’t expect anything else in Coconut Grove.
The appetizers, salads and main courses are varied and delicious and there’s an extensive bar and wine menu. Allow for time to find parking in the hub of Coconut Grove,
We had a lovely birthday lunch -- the service was great, everybody enjoyed their dishes, and it was very pleasant. I'd come back again. The burrata was absolutely delicious. The rigatoni was very good. The creme brulee was only "okay" - - - I would not order that again. The service was very friendly.
Nice place. Very focused on Italian wines, which is good and bad, usually all are drinkable but I can't endorse the 'bang for the buck'. We had buratta - decent; avocado eggs Benedict - on a brioche and really good; mussles - good; risotto de fungi - tasty but the textures we're not quite right. We had a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which was great. The service was good and the decore was awesome. That said we had to ask for bread - maybe because we had a 1:30 table and Sunday brunch goes until 2pm (we waited for the main menu). A winner.
We had a very large lunch group and the restaurant was able to seat is in a nice area outside. I ordered the farro salad with shrimp and my wife ordered the risotto. My meal had really good flavor but the farro was a bit under cooked. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. My wife's risotto was also very good and she enjoyed it very much.
Good experience, but food lacks taste. Polenta OK, the souce is good. Lasanha no soul. Chicken napoletana over cooked. Don't know if it is me, but before renovation I used to like this place more.
We have been customers of Strada for some time and absolutely loved the old location. We were excited to see they were moving across the street yet sad to see Farinelli go, we enjoyed both. I visited last Thursday for Happy hour and dinner. We were there for several hours ordering food and drinks (total bill $400+). I have to say although they did a lovely job with the decor of the new location, the food leaves much to be desired. Most of what we ate onsite was smaller pizzas and that was average at best. Prior to leaving we decided to order food to go, a lasagna and a Fig pizza from the regular menu. This was one of the most dissapointing food experiences I have had in a long time. I did not open the lasagna until we got home and as you can see in the picture this was very small, didn't have sauce and the presentation is not something you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The pizza was average tasting and did not sit well with me. This is not what you'd expect from Strada nor any restaurant of this caliber. I have had better pizza and lasagna at my local pizza shop, for much less. With so much competition for dining in this area alone, this is the product you came back with? They may as well have left Farinelli if they were going to go with all look but no substance. Unfortunately, this new place did not live up to the expectation and we will not be returning. We had high hopes to be able to continue to enjoy one of our favorite places.
While I appreciate they were dog friendly and were able to make us a couple vegan options, the vegan pasta noodles were very bad. The fresh pasta wasn’t vegan so they gave us gluten-free pasta which in one of our dishes was severely under cooked and had very hard noodles. The other dish was okay. The staff however was very friendly and helpful and wanted to make it right.
After making a reservation about four days before we dined at this restaurant I gad requested an indoor table. Once we arrived it was super hot outdoors we were told by the hostess that they had no tables indoors, she explained the website states that they cannot guarantee requests. Yes, correct, I did not see this but wouldn’t you think if you make a reservation ahead of time and make a request they can save that table. Doesn’t make much sense but the night was saved my Mariana, our lovely waitress who was so efficient even though she was so busy, the restaurant being packed. She was so much fun, took our orders correctly and always had a smile on her face. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. I hope this restaurant takes into consideration when you make reservation request, it should be honored. The place was full of young people who really don’t mind being outdoors. We were a group of fun seniors, this should give us some consideration..
Stumbled upon this place looking for lunch..Our server from London was very friendly, cheerful and helpful..the lunch was ok. had the crab cake as an appetizer, pretty good but my sandwich, the tuna sandwich was so salty I couldn't eat it..
The food was good and well-prepared. However, I was a bit surprised to see some extras added to the bill that weren’t clearly explained in advance. A little more transparency would have made the experience perfect.
Atmosphere was so nice I was expecting the pasta to be great. 3 dishes and an appetizer. The appetizer was great unfortunately all three pasta dishes were not that great, I’m sorry maybe the Cook wasn’t on his game. The sangria had barely any alcohol in it, given the atmosphere we were expecting amazing dishes. I’m usually not that critical but I was disappointed. Also the server.. we didn’t know who she was cause we had several come to our table we were so confused. I will give it another chance just because the prices are very reasonable given the location. But I hope the dishes are better then I could make at home and please when you get a sangria don’t cheap out on (everyone knows they don’t put the best wine in the sangrias) pour a little more so we can taste the alcohol, it taste like bubble flavored water.
After wanting to come and try the new marriage between Strada and Farinelli into one restaurant I have to say that ... it is okay but not great. Each on their own were really good restaurants. Farinelli had awesome pizzas which most are still in the new menu but some like the funghi is no longer there but a new version (tartufo) We started with lamb meatballs and fritto misto (fried calamari with zucchini and apples) meatballs were good but the sauce is probably the best thing. The fried calamari was a bit greasy. I tried the pizza di mare (seafood pizza) and it sounded good in paper... but it's definitely not working in execution. Its a soggy, almost wet dough. Not very pleasant. Toppings were good but it needs a lot of work. The pata negra pizza was still very good as it was the Margherita pizza. Linguini vongole was good but nothing memorable. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance is again nice ... with indoor and outdoor seating and they added a new bar out in the terrace which is nice for having a few drinks and grabbing a quick bite and of course ... for people watching. I will try coming back again.
Fantastic location with great outdoor seating. Good drink menu. Friendly service. Meatball appetizers were good. Chicken parm entree was not very good, disappointed there. Seafood ravioli was the better of the two entrees we ordered
Usually would give 5 star review. Food is great but feeling ripped off. Most pasta dishes 20 to 30 dollars. But ordered lunch special lamb ravioli 6 ravioli charged $50. Price never disclosed you've lostca long term customer. Go somewhere customers appreciated. Was clear with manager that was disappointed with results. Thursday lunch for 2 with 2 glasses of wine $200. Better options available
entrance was a bit hard to see and narrow plant decor looked sad. my spaghetti was drowning in oil. the octopus and the anchovies were too salty for me. the lemon cheesecake was really dry and thick (tasted like a bad jello no bake cheesecake). best lemon cheesecake was at Cibo restaurant.
The food was average, and while our server did his best, he was clearly overwhelmed with too many tables to manage effectively. We were seated inside, and the noise level was unbelievable — it was so loud we could barely hold a conversation. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I don’t think I’ll be returning. There are better and more authentic Italian dining options in the Grove
Disappointing. We’ve eaten at Strada at previous location and always been pleased. I would put our disappointment down to learning curve if I could, but our issues didn’t qualify as such. 1. Host desk - very good. 7pm res for 4 and we were seated on time. 2. Water - we said yes to water and we were served 4 glasses of warm water in hot glasses. Very odd. 3. Tuna and beef carpaccio appetizers good. Lamb meatballs had no lamb taste and would not order again. 4. We had to ask for plates for appetizers. 5. 3 dinners came together (1 pizza and 1 entree). The other entree was 20 MINUTES!! later. Completely ruined our meal. We ended up having to start ahead of the 4th guest. 6. We were given no plates for the pizza and had to ask for 2 plates AGAIN. 7. We bought a lot of wine. The guest with the 20 minute-late dinner was given 1 glass as compensation. 8. Nobody from management said a word to us. Waiter didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. Disappointing.
We were a huge fan of Strada when they were across the street. We decided to go to the new location on Mother’s Day (our mistake) to a place we used to love and were completely heart broken with our experience. The service was the absolute worst thing I have ever experienced starting with the host. We had a reservation and they seemed to not have a table for us. They sat us in a half shaded table in the back and told us to move our baby who was in the stroller out of their walk way. There was no where to move her and the other side of the table was in direct sunlight without any airflow. When we asked the host to move us he told us to sit anywhere, which created chaos among the waiters. We waited approximately 20 minutes for any waiter to approach us or even offer water. Our waiter, Mariana, and the host started talk about us poorly in front of us, for asking to sit in the shade with our baby. Finally the waiter came to our table and was incredibly rude telling us she needed to charge us despite us not even placing our order. The service was terrible and the table etiquette was awful. The servicer handed my husband his meal and didn’t even place the hot plate on the table. Someone else placed the disgusting hot water over me while I was eating. Overall it was truly a terrible experience the other location felt so cozy and welcoming and this experience felt nothing like that.
Today I went to celebrate Mother's day at the restaurant with my family and it was the worst experience ever. Since we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation (which is understandable), but after our reservation was found, the hostess accused us of "having made the reservation 20 mins before" as if we were liars! And it was incorrect because my husband reserved a week ago. Then, I asked if it was possible to sit inside because it was super hot and I had a toddler and a baby with me and the hostess said it was not possible in a very rude way. However, for aprox, 45 mins there were tables empty inside the restaurant while my children were crying because of how hot it was with poor ventilation in the outside. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as the attention is horrible and do not treat people with respect (specially in mothers' day..)
I am very disappointed. Loyal Strada and Farinelli customers for years. Our burrata’s tomato had its sticker still on it. The same burrata was still on the bill at the end of the meal. Nothing more than a, “sorry,” from the waitress. Food was decent but nowhere near what Strada and Farinelli were. Sad.
This is the 4 time we’ve had dinner here since they opened in this location The food is very bland, over cooked, other then the pizza I couldn’t recommend anything on the menu. Definitely not worth 100.00
This was, without question, the worst dining experience of my life. The food was completely inedible — bland, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. To make things worse, the girl who greeted us at the entrance was unbelievably rude and arrogant, acting as if customers were an inconvenience to her. For a place that pretends to be high-end, this was an absolute disgrace. I would never step foot in this place again.
Good service, terrible food. Fried calamari was more like chicharron, and pasta was overcooked and just blah.
