Tacos & Tattoos

First time dining here and I loved it. I asked our waiter Santiago for recommendations for the best combinations of the “pick your style” of the sauces for the different tacos that we ordered. His recommendations were spot on! I don’t think I’ve had tastier tacos in my life! We also ordered the truffle elote, patacon churrasco, fried oreos, and tres leches. Thank you Santiago for your perfect recommendations. We will definitely be back.

We ordered for take out and got there early to pick it up. 5 different team members came up to us asking if we had been helped and made sure we had been taken care of. Our order was ready right on time and everything was delicious. We will be back soon to dine in.

Tacos & Tattoos in Kendall is a five star hidden treasure. The moment the food arrived, the flavors transported me back to Puerto Rico just like my mother’s cooking. The rice and beans topped with a sunny-side-up egg, sweet plantains, tender chicken, and perfectly seasoned carnitas were absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted homemade, comforting, and full of love. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The team is friendly, attentive, and truly loves what they do. The patacón is incredible, and if you go on Taco Tuesday, you’re in for a treat. They also have a bar and great drinks to pair with your meal. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended bring your family, enjoy the food, and be ready to fall in love with every dish.

Great atmosphere and my favorite nachos. Went for Taco Tuesday they have $3 tacos, and also ordered the nachos which I love, you run out of chips before finishing the toppings, lots of cilantro which I like a lot. The decorations are great and the service was excellent. Hope to be back soon.

This place is awesome. From the service to the food to the great decor and vibes. Our recent visit Annerys took care of us. Great attitude, high energy, took excellent care of us. Recommended some great dishes and reminded us to come back especially on Karaoke Monday's! You MUST always order the queso frito!

Been coming on and off to T&T since they opened and I am always happy to see them growing. From their first location to now this excellent spot on 104. The food is excellent, the attention and hospitality is what you would expect at a high end restaurant and the service is on point. The ever expanding menu has a lot to offer for every pallet. Strongly suggest you take time to visit and see for yourselves how great T&T's really is.

Tacos and Tattoos is a hidden gem in Kendall! The tacos here are fantastic—each one bursting with flavor. The drinks are equally impressive, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere. The decor is unique and adds to the fun vibe, making it a great spot to hang out. I highly recommend the fried cheese drizzled with honey; it’s a must-try! The quesadillas are amazing, and the patacón is a delicious twist. The service is top-notch, making you feel right at home. Super find! The decor wowed us right away. The happy hour drinks and prices were great. We were lucky enough to be there on a Thursday when it's happy hour all day! Not a bad deal. Food was delicious and super flavorful, and our server, Sebastian, took really good care of us.

Juan gave us excellent service, very on top of the table, made sure all our trash was gone, gave us amazing suggestions on the menu all with a beautiful smile! Definitely will be coming back for his service!!

The tacos are delicious, especially the fish and pastor tacos. The fried cheese with honey is an excellent choice and definitely worth trying. As for the smash burger, it was not my favorite. The meat was a bit dry, and in my opinion, it does not really fit into the true smash burger category.

First time here, it was recommended to me by some friends.. it didn’t disappoint, tasty food, good service, and nice environment. The music was a bit loud for me, if you are thinking to go and have some long talks, but it was cool.

They are constantly having different events daily. My favorite event is Silky night every last Saturday of the month , if you love 200s hip hop & rnb then this is your spot. Amber is the reason this place hits different. From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel welcome without it feeling forced or fake. Super attentive, great energy, and she actually cares that you’re enjoying yourself—not just checking boxes. The vibe of Tacos And Tattoos is already fun and laid-back, but Amber takes it up a notch. She’s quick, friendly, and somehow always shows up right when you need something. Food was on point, drinks were flowing, and the service made the whole experience better. Awesome place to eat. Little surprised how good and flavorful the food was. Loved the atmosphere. Almost as if it's definitely in the wrong location. But glad it is where it is. My only knock would be that it is a bit pricey and I understand that Kendall is a pricey area but still for the price I feel better portions could be added. But overall a great experience. Recommend to all to try.

Great atmosphere and service in this little hideaway. The pork belly tacos had some great flavor. The queso on the nachos was really good, but I was not very impressed with the guacamole. Still good food and drinks and I'd like to explore the rest of the menu since the prices are decent.

The food was good and the waitress was friendly and made sure we were taken care off. I did not appreciate the smoke mobile truck selling or providing Marijuana to people in the parking lot. Not cool.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The service was either stretched out or just swamped, but it took forever for drinks and to close out the tab. Also, the impromptu comedy show was..... different. But it is what it is. I would recommend to go there at slower hours for phenomenal burritos and definitely get the elotes.

Cold tacos on taco Tuesday. The food tasted good but was cold the first round. I sat outside to avoid the loud music but that volume was also turned on so loud I put in my earbuds. Did order more tacos and the second round were warm. Typical Florida restaurant. 15 minutes to get a coke. 4 people ordered at our table at the same time. 1 person completely done eating before the 4th person even got their food.

I attended the Silky Sheets event at Tattoos and Tacos and witnessed an incident that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. During the event, I saw a situation involving a manager named Steven and a woman escalate physically. From where I was standing, it appeared that he placed his hands around her neck area while restraining her. It was disturbing to watch. Police were called to the scene. What made the situation even more unsettling was how it felt like the incident was being minimized afterward. As a customer, I did not feel reassured by how things were handled. Regardless of the circumstances leading up to it, seeing management involved in a physical altercation in a public setting is not something I expect when attending a community event. It left a very negative impression on me, and I personally would not feel comfortable returning.

The portion of chips was not that much. I ordered the Berria tacos based on the reviews and for $17 I was very disappointed. The carnitas were not seasoned. The best thing about it was the shell. I also found the tacos to be very small. My husband ordered a burrito and it was big and he said that they were generous with the portion but it definitely was not authentic Mexican. The water was warm and my glass was dirty. The only good thing about this place is the servers are pleasant. I will not be coming back here. Not worth the money spent.

Me and my friends went to an event that they were throwing last night and this was the flyer accompanied for the event. It says ladies can drink for free until 11. When getting there we politely asked the bartender and a worker if they were doing that and if we can see the menu. We were instantly met with snark and sass by both employees, one even saying “ Nothing in Miami is free”. Which they both laughed at in our face about. I don’t know what type of service that is but we all found it very disrespectful.

Do not host your event at Tacos & Tattoos. Here is exactly how they handle their business. We asked to use the space for a free concert on 2/6. Tacos & Tattoos said yes and agreed to help promote the show. Behind the scenes, we spent weeks promoting this show, designing flyers, and posting on social media. You even posted the flyer on Instagram to make it official. But when we showed up, it was a total disaster. Your staff had zero clue what was going on. They used the lack of information as an excuse to be hostile and unprofessional. Your servers were openly laughing and mocking the women in our group... for asking questions about the drinks and menu. They did not honor the drink specials on the official flyer. Management did not talk to the event organizers about any issues. They did not talk to the performers about lowering the volume. Instead, they called the police behind closed doors to shut down the event. You waited until the venue was full of people we brought to you, then used the cops to shut us down because you were too incompetent to manage the event you agreed to host. This is the most disgusting bait-and-switch I've ever seen from a business and I've lived in Miami for 24 years. You used us for free promotion. You disrespected our artists. And you insulted your customers. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. 0 stars.
