The Cat Café South Beach, located in the Betsy Hotel lobby, is praised for its excellent coffee (especially the peanut butter oat milk latte and matcha made by Char), clean restrooms, and fast wifi, making it a good workspace. However, it's considered pricey, and some find it's not a true Panther Coffee experience.

I ordered a peanut butter oat milk latte that was divine!! I was so pleasantly surprised when Charlotte mentioned peanut butter as a flavor option and I’m so glad I got it because it was so good! I also appreciate that my croissant was warmed up because they should always be served warm. Totally worth the walk in the rain. *there was an incessant beeping sound that sucked but that’s the hotel’s issue to fix asap
Charlotte is the best barista ever, she make it amazing!! Finally a great coffee place, last but not least. Free wifi. Great drinks, amazing atmosphere!
It's hard to find a good matcha when I travel. Char made me one of the best matchas I've ever had away from home! The Betsy Hotel Lobby is a spacious, stylish place to spend a chill morning in Miami Beach. Highly recommend.
Friendly service. They don’t take cash FYI. My latte was delicious, options for full, skim or almond milk. Very smooth!
Carefully made coffee, juice, and drinks in the back lobby of the Betsy Hotel, a spacious, uncrowded area with free wifi that also serves as gallery for whatever exhibitions they have at the moment. Great spot for a quiet coffee. They also have pastries and food from The Alley next door.
Nice setting close to the beach. A little hard to find but there are umbrellas with the name. Walls are also used for gallery space. A little pricey. $9 for 12 oz nitro but you're probably dropping cash if you're in the area anyway. Would come back with a book or with my work. Really good seating options.
The wifi was fast, the lobby was quiet enough to work, the nitro coffee was fresh, and this is random but — the restroom was the cleanest one I’ve seen in Miami. Mirrors, floors, toilet were all impeccable. I ran into the custodian as I stepped out (her name is Lizbeth) and was able to tell her. Had to add it in this review.
Amazing iced latte with oat milk - excellent service, set in a very beautiful and eclectic space, super cool to check out. We’ll be back !
Good place for coffee and amazing pastries. The quiche was so delicious. And the caramel lattes are my fav.
This is my favorite coffee shop on South Beach Top music, atmosphere, vibe. Brings you back in time. Very classy place

Beautiful place. Such a vibe! And very comfortable. Had an iced matcha and liked it
Beautiful and peaceful place in SouthBeach to enjoy coffee, tap brew, and pastries and snacks. Love ❤️ it
Good mocha coffee here. Always made a trip here before heading to the convention center!
Very good coffee, tasteful pastry-even gluten free! Super crew!!!
Fantastic lattes! A lot of outdoor patio space too. Great for relaxing and reenergizing in wynwood
Cool space and beautiful art. I would go back for the coffee cake. The vanilla latte I got was good.
Char is the best barista and makes the best drinks. You need to go to her when you’re in south beach ♥️♥️
Had a great experience with Char making my coffee! If you’re in Miami Beach stop by panther coffee for a cup
My stay at the Betsy could not have been better, every meal, every staff encounter, etc.. Special shout out to Char for making the best coffee of my stay.
Quick service, nice ambiance, friendly Barista. Cool pictures of The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Nice off the path coffee shop!
Excellent coffee shop. Lots of space, great lattes, and outdoor seating. Enjoyed the iced oat latte!
Char, my barista, was such a gem! Great coffee and great care, too.
Char is THE barista! That girl made me one of the best lattes I’ve ever had.
Omg!!! This is the best mocha in Miami! Thanks to Char for the smile and the atmosphere she creates!
Coffee is good and yummy They don’t have soy milk though :/ :0 They do have almond
Miami Beach is not a coffee town but Panther has it. Plush and Relaxing.
Char was our barista and she made a macchiato - spectacular. We will be back just for that!
We stopped in to get a coffee this past weekend and met wonderful Char - our top-tier barista at Panther Coffee inside the Betsy Hotel. Not only was the coffee actually to die for but Char herself is an exceptional human. She is welcoming, warm, and easy to talk to <3 Highly recommend stopping here for a TASTY coffee and a good conversation!
Was in search of good coffee during Art Basel for a major caffeine fix. After doing some research I landed on Panther Coffee and so glad I did! Char is absolutely amazing and made me the best latte ever. This is now my go to place when I need delicious coffee made by awesome Char! Don't hesitate with your decision, just go to Panther!
This is a cute cafe in a hotel that serves Panther Coffee. Convenient place to buy coffee beans because we live a little further away from the official Panther location. Char served us and was very nice, accommodating and made us two tasty coffees. Thank you!!
I had a really great experience at Panther Coffee. The girl behind the counter was really awesome she took care of us and made us great coffee. I love the music and the whole vibe of the hotel. I wish I would have stayed here instead of the Royal Palm. Highly recommend this over Starbucks cuz it's quiet and the coffee is good.
Char is the absolute best! She makes a mean cappuccino which has gotten me going the last few mornings and she has the best energy! Come and say hi as you get fabulous service with Char!
WOW. Charlotte, the incredible barista, provided me with an absolute dream experience. I enjoyed the creamiest iced cappuccino with caramel and vanilla sweetness. My first coffee was so good I had to try the nitro cold brew before I left. Charlotte was kind and patient and provided amazing recommendations. I truly enjoyed my experience today. I work from home so I will definitely be spending each and everyday here enjoying my new favorite coffee drinks with my favorite barista to chat with during breaks.
Coffee was lovely made but the most lovely Char!! She gives amazing service and just an all around joy. Come here just to see her ♥️
Char's recommendation of the Peanut Butter Latte was spot on. It's a wonder it's not more common, definitely coming back for another. The cookies are also fantastic, exactly the right texture, goes well with a latte.
Char is the most beautiful human being and the light of my mornings here at the betsy. As long as she is working here, I will buy a coffee from her the rest of my life ❤️ What a sweetheart
Char is the absolute best!!! My latte was perfect but her service was what I’m here to rave about! TOP TIER! We will def be back. 🙌🏾
Excellent almond croissant and Char makes the BEST macchiato! If you drink macchiatos you know that's hard to find!
I discovered by accident at breakfast but was a very good surprise. The bar girl was friendly and professional. Thanks for the great coffee!! Paolo
Excellent cappuccinos on Collins Street which is much more peaceful and quiet than the zoo on Ocean.

Good quality coffee, but likely one of the most expensive cappuccinos in South Beach—a small one was nearly $10. Still, it's a nice coffee spot inside the lobby of the Betsy Hotel.
The service at Panther Coffee was great, and the coffee was good. I always enjoy an americano after it has cooled down, and Panther Coffee’s has great flavor. This coffee shop is in the lobby of a hotel or apartment building, not really that sure, but it wasn’t very welcoming, which might be what they are going for. Just come for the coffee.

Coffee is okay. Baked goods are fantastic! Almond crossaint was impressive. Atmosphere is good. Staff seemed slow and down in the dumps.
Not the official Panther coffee shop. But they use panther bean. Waiter was really nice.
The barista did not give me change when I used a $10 note to pay for a single coffee. Coffee was good, but not for $10.
Cute shop. Good coffee. The cashier was on her phone the whole time and not very happy.
There’s an unexpected 20% service charge as other reviews have mentioned. The chocolate rum cake also is okay ish. However this is a nice place for working remotely.
They have a great beans. The one in Wynwood is great. Others only use their beans.

This is more like a coffee stand inside a hotel that use Panther Coffee beans (we could hardly see the logo and thought we were at the wrong place). The coffee was so-so as we were having pretty high hope for Panther Coffee. This is not to say that the brand isn’t good and I would still like to visit the original store.
The environment is clean and the music is relaxing. A great place to work out of if you're remote. However, @Panther, why is a cappuccino 8oz or 12 oz? How did we go from 5/6oz to this? I chose to get the cortadito and the espresso was overextracted. The ready brew tasted like a standard Black Coffee so it worked well.
expensive coffee, didn't like the lemon bread i felt like iam eating only lemon too much lemon taste 😵💫 But the service is good and kind people

Not the full Panther experience. The Nitro brew was either poorly pressurized or not nitro at all.
Disappointing, it’s not a real panther coffee they are just using their beans. The milk was burnt in my coffee and the pastry was average
I really like Panther Coffee both in Wynwood and the one on Purdy Ave on South Beach… I cannot say the same for the one in the Betsy Hotel. For a 7$ cappuccino it should be on-point, unfortunately it is not. I’m happy to pay for a great product but this location is a waist of money.
This is a very attractive shop that has modest coffee offerings. Their pastries really are the main attraction and the coffee is roasted darker to compliment the pastries. If you're looking for coffee options, this isn't the place. While it wouldn't bother a lot of people, I ordered an iced coffee and received an Iced Americano. Staff was very nice, as was the space. But if you're craving a delicious coffee, while it's not bad, this may not be your best option.
This is not a coffee shop. It’s a coffee stall in a hotel. They did not have cold brew or cold coffee which is a basic feature of a coffee shop, only nitro cold brew. There was also no coffee menu and no pour over available.
I tried to find in this area a good coffeeshop for Espresso. So I found Panthers. I bought for home the east coast bean. It is a good mix between arabica and robusta and Caffeine level is not so high.
NOT a real panther coffee - this is a coffee stand inside a hotel lobby service was wonderful. vibes were great. AC was amazing. the cold brew i ordered was $9 and came from a can. not the coffee shop experience i wanted.

This location does not accept cash, they don’t accept Apple Pay, you need to carry a physical card, so no coffee for me.
Great coffee, HORRIBLE prices. Unlike other Pather locations, this location charges an automatic 23% tip??! My SMALL latte was $7.71??! 😳😳
Bad coffee in a hotel lobby. Not a coffee shop, more of a coffee counter with some reheated sandwiches. Not a vibe
Not great coffee, average at best! But with prices like they have they get a below average review. I don’t think this is actually panther coffee either, they just use panther coffee beans.
I was served a half filled cup of coffee. I ordered a large, marked as 12 oz on the menu. The cup was marked as .35L near the lip. When I asked why didn't get a full cup I was told because that is what she was instructed to do, that is a large. I tried to explain that 12oz is .35 L to no avail. If your menu is marked in oz and your cups are in L please educate your staff on the conversion. 2 stars because the coffee at least tasted good. I was just ripped off.
Not actually a Panther Coffee, just a stall within a hotel lobby with a single employee whose training was probably watching a YouTube video of a person using an espresso machine. No pride in the craft, and a shame given the brand they’re licensing.
Panther coffee is good in Wynwood and even their Miami Beach location but this outlet in the hotel gave an awful experience - no welcome, no oat milk, no soya... and then $5 for a small drip coffee is just ridiculous
20$ for a latte and a cappuccino. When charging these prices, the expectations are high, but they didn't deliver. The coffee is average at best. The space of the cafe is interesting, good place to catch your breath while exploring the neighborhood.
Serves coffee made with Panther beans but not actually a Panther coffee location. They don’t have the typical Panther menu and even their cold brew is just canned Illy coffee.

$18.32 for coffee and one banana bread? Bake in 20% service charge? Would have gone somewhere with better atmosphere and coffee
The lady who served me coffee was really nice until the point that i was added am automatic 20% service charge which was not noted on the menu on the wall anywhere

Drove across town to this cafe which says open and takeaway allowed to find out they’re in a hotel and only serving to guests. Waste of time - skip out on this location
Please update the hours! (I’m a local) walked over to find out panther closes at 5pm and not 5:30. The Betsy had the door closed to the public and not until i called i was told by the nice employee that panther closes at 5pm. 😩
Not Panther coffee… but they serve Panther coffee beans. Owned and operated by the hotel (and it shows).
I asked whether they could do barista coffee; the woman hesitated and then said yes. The $6.54 coffee was terrible. Not worth the price.
Service is very mediocre and on top of that automatically included without even an option to choose the amount.. my latte foam disappeared in less than a minute :(
This used to be my favorite cafe in Miami. Just walked out after waiting 10 min for a coffee they already have made and sitting there. So I guess if you want coffee go somewhere else.
I don't know why the barista was so mean to us, all I asked was what time they close. Also she said they close at 3 but Google says they close at 5.
I’d recommend Panther coffee take their name off of this operation entirely.. not too sure how a muffin and a coffee costs $15 either
Not actually Panther Coffee. Don't go here if you wan't Panther Coffee.
This is NOT a standalone Panther Coffee Shop. It’s a hotel bar that happens to serve Panther brand coffee. The real Panther Coffee shop is diagonally across town.
server was friendly and chatty but, as a result, service was SUPER slow. also mandatory service charges for coffee is ridiculous
Said it was open but unless you are a hotel guest and have a key card to enter lobby (even after 7am?) no dice.
Walked across Miami Beach to pick up some coffee here. They were closed almost three hours prior to their listed hours. Terrible experience.
Extremely rude employee. I was so surprised because a lot of people told me about this cafe and im sure I was just unlucky with the employee that happened to be there. She was very rude, i asked for a menu and her response was (and i quote) « i dont have a menu » 😂 and throughout the entire exchange; not once did she look at us while taking the order or serving us and had a super rude response to me saying that my credit card was a canadian one so i might need to enter pin. Anyways, the mocha was alright but i will not be back due to the service unfortunately. And im a cafe roamer across the globe so im always a bit sad when i have a bad experience in a cafe
This is a Panther outpost in the Betsy Hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the Panther name. It is so much worse than the other Panther locations, which have some of the best coffee in Miami. The cappuccino looked and tasted like something you'd get in a hotel... I'd recommend skipping this location and going to one of the other Panthers.
IDK if the barista was bad or the coffee or both. She was on the phone using AirPods and not hearing us. Didn’t answer to our request to warm up the pastry. And coffee was the worst!
This is a coffee bar in a hotel. They tried charging me $11 + tip for a small can of WATER. Found better water at A nicer cafe down the street for $5….
