Discovered by chance… We thought we'd made a mistake, but curiosity and hunger, given the time, pushed us in anyway. They lead us toward a hypothetical entrance, still immersed in doubt, we climb a staircase convinced we'd be backtracking. Hesitant in front of the door, we decide to take the plunge. The inviting aromas from the kitchen give us courage. Once inside, a pleasant silence falls, warmth, heat, and tranquility reign supreme. Greeted by the chef, we sit down. He briefly explains what they're doing and hands us a handwritten menu. We play along and order. Suddenly, we feel at home, pleasant… the magic begins with the arrival of lunch. Simple, excellent dishes, certainly made with love, capable of moving you (if you appreciate and value them). The very kind owner explains that the cured meats, cheeses, and much more are locally sourced. My son gives a 10 for a pasta with ragu, complete with mopping up the sauce, something he's never seen before. First! He too, intrigued, tastes it, noticing our reaction and is amazed like us, by the flavors and aromas of a healthy and genuine home cooking, with first-rate products, made with love! The desserts are excellent! Coffee and immediately a chat with the two guys, fantastic and very kind owners, and everything you would like to find to be pampered during a lunch out of the house... I won't talk about the bill, because what touches your heart, memory and emotions, there is no money to repay... See you again

Truly very, very good, they were always available, from the phone call for information, which was immediately followed by the booking of a room for one night. Welcoming upon our arrival, the room was Linda—bright, large, with a lovely balcony—very comfortable. Ample parking is available; the only drawback is perhaps the small road from the parking lot to the rooms/restaurant. Sneakers are recommended, and no heels for women. We gladly stopped for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The meat was delicious, as were the locally sourced mushrooms, vegetables, and wine, and a good value. Our compliments to the excellent owners, and thank you! Highly recommended.

A Perfect Countryside Getaway We spent two nights at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast and absolutely loved every moment. The location is stunning—peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature, and just a short distance from the lake. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The service was warm and welcoming, and the hosts made us feel right at home. The house itself was charming and beautifully maintained, with cozy, comfortable rooms full of character. We also really enjoyed the food served at the property—fresh, delicious, and made with care. Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape to a quiet, scenic spot with great hospitality!

I've been coming to Fattoria del Pino for a few years now thanks to a dear friend, and I can only give it 5 stars: the food is always excellent! The menu always offers three choices of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, plus a variety of desserts. The owners are always kind, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is small but welcoming, and you can also eat outside when the weather is nice. I can't rate the rooms, as I've never used them.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant - our pastas were excellent, both unique, we wouldn't find these recipes easily elsewhere. Our most favourite thing was the venue's atmosphere - effortlessly charming and old school. Cute cats roaming in the garden as well :)

In unbelievable find, and not easy to get here. We had a wonderful meal and felt like we had discovered something special, off the beaten path. We stopped to ask the help of local residents and everyone knew where it was, but we couldn’t have found it without asking, even with Google maps.

We found this place in a book of restaurants at Lago D'Orta and decided to give it a try. Very quiet when we visited and Google maps came in handy to find it due to its rural location! We found the hostess very helpful and the food we chose was delicious. The Menabrea Italian beer was very good also and served in a cool bag which was welcome as it was very warm during our visit. Highly recommended.

OTTIMA CENA Lo abbiamo scoperto per caso tramite Groupon e siamo rimasti entusiasti. Un antipasto buonissimo a base di tartare e tagliere di formaggi e affettati a kilometro zero, tutto freschissimo e buonissimo. La tagliata di fassona si scioglieva in bocca. Squisita. Buoni anche i dessert. Il locale è piccolino e ha una terrazza esterna, immerso nel verde e nel silenzio, ideale per gli amanti della natura e alla ricerca del fresco, nelle giornate estive. Nella terrazza, la sera del 17 agosto, era persino freddo e abbiamo preferito stare all'interno. La titolare è gentile e accogliente e suo marito, il cuoco, altrettanto cortese e attento. L'ambiente è rustico e la struttura dispone anche di tre stanze con servizio di B&B. La posizione è strategica perché è a pochi kilometri da Orta San Giulio e a mezzoretta dal Lago Maggiore e Stresa. I prezzi nella norma, proporzionati alla qualità. Consigliato di sicuro.

Posto incantevole, sembra di stare fuori dal mondo, pace e tranquillità, noi abitiamo non troppo distanti ma ci siamo sentiti come in vacanza... Ospitali, gentili e molto disponibili. Noi siamo stati a pranzo acquistando un Groupon, ma la carta dei vini e del cibo è varia e molto appetitosa. Il locale sembra un posto dei paesi nordici e affacciandosi alla finestra si possono vedere le colline e gli animali, inoltre in questa stagione i colori sono meravigliosi. Consigliatissimo

Non ho provato la struttura come ospite delle camere, ma come ospite della taverna, signori un'esperienza da fare, piatti semplici, ingredienti di altissima qualità, cordialità e simpatia delle persone, ambiente accogliente e familiare, prezzo più che onesto. Esperienza enogastronomica consigliatissima. Mio particolarissimo giudizio, 5 meritatissimi GNAM.

Ecco uno dei posti che conservano il fascino di una volta, quelli che non si atteggiano a ristoranti con nomi che richiamano le locande o le osterie. Questa è una classica locanda dai prezzi alla mano esempio primi a 8€, secondi a 12/15€. Non li impiattano come in un ristorante stellato, ma abbiamo sempre voglia di andare in un posto così? Io no, quindi benvengano i locali diversi che non si vergognano di esserlo (perché dovrebbero farlo d'altronde?) Sono rustici, ma non per questo meno buoni. Ho mangiato dei gnocchi con zucca e funghi dove si può assaporare il vero gusto del fungo non coperto da glutammati. Il gnocco era morbido e non si disfava. Il piatto era buono. Purtroppo è stato un pranzo veloce, ma sicuramente ci torneremo se capiteremo da quelle parti.

Una piacevole scoperta: ambiente rustico, ma accogliente; cibi genuini e molto buoni. Ottimo il conto. Non facilissimo arrivarci, ma ne vale davvero la pena! L'unico suggerimento è che magari i gatti non li farei entrare nella sala dove si mangia.

Last Saturday, during a weekend on Lake Orta, we dined at this agriturismo located in a hilltop position, a short distance from Orta San Giulio. The rustic yet charming atmosphere (complete with a roaring fireplace!) offers simple yet authentic cuisine using excellent ingredients. After choosing the wine, a 2022 Nebbiolo from the Novara hills by Azienda Rogiotto in Boca (NO), which paired beautifully with the dishes, we began by sharing a bagna cauda with dipped vegetables, which was delicious and not at all heavy. We then both chose a delicious Carnaroli risotto with porcini mushrooms. For our main course, we had veal ossobuco with baked potatoes and gnocchi with gorgonzola cream, pears, and orange zest. Both were delicious and, like all the other courses, generously portioned. We were so full, we unfortunately skipped dessert. A water and two coffees brought the bill to €84 for two, which is considered extremely reasonable. Recommended for anyone who wants to eat well, leave feeling full, and spend a fair amount. We'll be back! Bravo!

A restaurant with a unique location, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, with a wonderful view. We would have expected more from the food, given that both the appetizer (a charcuterie and cheese platter) and the main course (eggplant, stracciatella, and guanciale risotto) were good but nothing exceptional. The prices were fair. Overall, a very positive experience.

The location is very beautiful. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms, but given the location, I think you can rest well. I had dinner in the taverna. The food is delicious and locally sourced. I recommend the charcuterie and cheese platter. For my main course, I had a delicious tagliata steak and the polenta was spectacular. I highly recommend it.

Posto molto carino, in mezzo alla natura, si può mangiare fuori sul terrazzino o dentro. Ambiente carino e luminoso, la cameriera molto gentile. Ottima la birra Menabrea, ma il cibo non raggiunge la sufficienza! Siamo stati sfortunati, o declassati perché clienti Groupon???il tagliere passabile. Lo stinco era durissimo immangiabile,chiaramente scaldato e riscaldato, l'hamburger purtroppo è arrivato ricoperto di un formaggio 😏x quanto riguarda le grigliate e patatine fritte.... Ci siamo limitati a non mangiare

Ho regalato a mia figlia questo soggiorno da un cofanetto Smartbox. Esperienza terribile, una notte da incubo: dormito vestiti in quanto oltre ad un letto sfondato, vi erano una quantita di cimici allucinante, molte morte per cui presumo che erano giorni che la camera non veniva pulita. Il peggior luogo dove io abbia soggiornato nella mia vita. Sconsigliato vivamente

Don't go there. waste of time and money. The hotel is still under construction. Can't lock the room door, room full of ants, smelly old sheets, plaster is falling down the walls. Waited 30min. for breakfast no one showed up. Rang the bell of the owners door, no answer... So we left, and guess what, no money back...
