This is our favourite Indian restaurant on the Costa del Sol. The owners are very friendly and the service is excellent. The food is always fantastic and the quality never varies.

We have come to swaghat since we have come to mijas golf. As soon as we are on spot we eat out at least once a month here and never been disapointed. Friends invited there have gone back considering best indian. All fresh and prices are correct. Oue favorite dishes are all preps dhansak and butter chicken.

The best curry on the Costa del Sol. The meat is excellent quality. It’s made with love, care and attention to detail when it comes to your desired level of spice.

It's always a pleasure to visit Bar Marie. It's our local when in Spain. A fab night out, Marie and Craig super friendly. Great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Well worth a visit

Agreed with earlier reviews the chicken mango and mixed platter is excellent. Onion nann something I haven't had in England. Adnan is an excellent attentive waiter couldn't have done anymore.

La comida buenísima, somos de pedir bastante comida India y la verdad que es una de las mejores. Sinceramente no entiendo como es que hay comentarios malos al respecto. El dueño es un poco serio pero no borde como he visto en los comentarios, y además eso no influye ni en la comida ni en la atención. Repetiremos sin duda. Pecio asequible.

We walked Sierra De Mijas during the day and then decided we'd earnt a curry so went to this place. 4 lads, ordered a mixed grill (tandoori prawns were incredible), a Lamb Balti, Chicken Jalfrezi, Garlic Chilli Chicken and a Chicken tikka biryani. Not a single morsel of food was left behind when we'd finished, it was absolutely delicious and all cooked fresh. The only gripe I'd have is that it was a little pricey, we paid €80 for the food, and we had cokes and water with the food, so I thought it was a bit much. But no regret, we really enjoyed our meal.

Lo mejor... el curry!

Cibo eccellente, abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po', era strano perché eravamo l'unico tavolo, ma quando è arrivato il cibo l'attesa non è stata più un problema. Un cibo saporitissimo e ben preparato, facile da mangiare e da digerire veramente ben preparato non come il classico cibo indiano che ti sale su e giù per il collo tutta la notte. Veramente buono lo consiglio. L'ambiente non è importante quando si mangia così bene. Bravi!

Great no-nonsense curry. I always eat take out, the place itself isn't very cosy. But its fine on a hot summers night. Fair prices and good portions.

Absolutely the best Indian food we have had In this whole area. Will definitely visit them again and recommend to others. Only knocked points off for the surroundings and lack of aircon or fans it was very hot.

wasn't overly impressed. Waiter seemed like he couldn't be bothered and we were just a nuisance disturbing his quiet night. Food was indian, not the best ive ever has but then again not the worst. Unless the waiter gets a good kick up the arse they can expect a few more quiet nights.

A cash only restaurant, which does not full fill it's orders as prescribed.

Overcocked appetizer dry meat and fish - totaly spoiled.The three sauces, that came with the mixed appetizers had no taste at all.The main course was ok but not more. Rather booring menu.

Charges for popadoms

Arrogant owner & lazy wife, scruffy restaurant, no greetings/communication from them at all, food medioca & menu given when eating in is a take away menu so when paying your bill at the end of your meal the prices are higher than in the menu given/ordered from, if that is not bad enough you can't pay by credit card but there are no notifications at all explaining either, if you complain as we did you get a load of verbal abuse, we will never go there again, not recommended at all

Una estrella y por que es obligatoria para poder comentar.No coman aquí, no lo recomiendo en absoluto. A parte de la mala atención al cliente, que eso es lo de menos...cuando te encuentras un bichito extraño en la comida tipo araña . . Deberían hacerle una visita sanidad .

The owner is an ignorant, arrogant man!! I gave them another chance last night. My sauce tasted like nothing other than salt. And he never, ever apologises!! Will never go again!! The young waiter is adorable
