We’ve been wanting to try this place since we arrived in Milano a few months ago, but were always reluctant because of the hype they have on social media, which is, unfortunately, usually a bad sign. However, from when we arrived until when we got our pizzas and left, the experience was amazing! We were welcomed by someone at the door that asked us if we wanted to sit or get takeaway, so we went inside to order our pizzas for takeaway. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful! While we waited for our pizzas to be ready, they give you napolitan zeppole that were freshly fried and delicious! We got our pizzas in about 10mins and the place was PACKED! Bare in mind that this was a Sunday night! We got our pizzas in an Assaje re-usable bag with more zeppole! We got home and the pizzas were absolutely delicious! All ingredients were super fresh, the dough was amazing, and the combinations were just working! We had some leftovers, re-heated them in the oven for lunch the day after and they still tasted amazing!! The hype is real, and we’ll definitely go back!

We've been to hundreds of places around the globe but, so far, this is definitely the best restaurant in terms of experience. We were welcomed with a Prosecco drinks on the house, just like everyone else. We ordered bruschettas, pizza, two cocktails and a tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfectly served and delicious. The cocktail was a little bit too strong for me and I asked if I could have a little bit of sparkling water to fill in, and the waitress immediately wanted to take the cocktail away and prepare a new one, which I insisted not to. Then, we received a bottle of sparkling water free. Tiramisu was served in a beautiful coffee pot and it was amazing. At the end the waiters brought three liquors - pistacchio, lemon and orange. Also for free. In general, everything was perfect. Starting with the food, extra-caring staff, the atmosphere of place and people around, the chefs preparing pizza on our eyes, just perfect. The staff were coming several times to make sure we are okay. It's just amazing, truly the best experience of restaurant so far. We do recommend it a lot. To Assaje Team - thank you guys, you made our day wonderful.

A great pizza restaurant! Generous toppings and portions, and the staff were friendly. The portion was really big for a small eater like myself, and it was really yummy. I couldn’t quite figure out the difference between their classic pizzas and contemporary pizzas, but I really enjoyed my lunch there. Later I found out this is a pizza restaurant chain.

Assaje never disappoints! Everything I tried so far during multiple visits was super delicious! The pizzas, the fries, the appetizers, the desserts and even the wine were so good! The service is great as well, the waiters are helpful and friendly even when the place is super packed. The fact that they offer complementary items, such as prosecco, fried dough, mini tarts and liqueur is such a nice gesture and it makes the customer want to come back for sure!

We ordered the pizza mortadella e pistacchio and the melanzane e polpette. Both were good, but the melanzane e polpette felt a bit heavy because the eggplant was fried. Overall, nice flavors, but a lighter preparation for the eggplant would make it even better.

This time the server forgot to provide us with the initial Prosecco shot, but other than that everything was amazing and they were all very friendly.

Assaje is one of the top rated pizzerias in milan and it lives up to the expectations on service, quality of food, atmosphere and definitely the taste of the Pizzas and the deserts. I was choosing to go on Saturday and was not able to reserve a table (as they don’t take reservations) and need to be there and wait to be seated. I reached by 20:00 and the place was full inside and full outside with waiting people. Luckily the seating outside was empty and after 20 min wait gave up to sit outside, the do have heaters and was a good choice than to wait endlessly. The service is super fast once you order they deliver the pizza in 5-7 minutes quite impressive in spite of the crowd. They serve free limoncello meloncello and Pistacello liquor after the pizza and tiramisu is definitely one of the delicacy there. Overall a good experience and a place to go back again.

Mama mia! This is a great pizza place, I mean, they have many more options but pizza was a great choice. 🤫 staff would even bring some ketchup if you ask nicely but shh 🤫 😉 The complimentary alcoholic tasting beverages they offer at the end, taste very good, specially the pistachio one! So cheers! The one thing is that, unfortunately the pizza 🍕 was soaking after a little while, perhaps we should've requested it "well done" but I'm not sure if that's even an option , if you don't eat it quickly it might soak.

We ate here on Friday. When we arrived, we were unable to get a table despite having made a reservation two weeks in advance. It was a birthday celebration, which is why we booked so early. The waiters informed us that they generally do not take reservations on weekends, even though the reservation had been confirmed by phone two weeks earlier. We were then given a table outside on the terrace. The patio heater kept us warm, but unfortunately the atmosphere was not very pleasant. The welcome drink was sparkling wine in a paper cup. A very nice gesture, but not very tasty. Two of the waiters were very unfriendly. No communication, no thank you, and no please. Food was "slammed" onto the table. Now for the most important thing and the savior of this review: the pizza (Margherita) is very, very good. I can only recommend it. The house wine is sparkling, okay in taste but far from good. But okay for the price if you don't have high expectations. At the end, you get liquor and gummy bears again. I can't recommend the liquor, they all taste so artificial and just not good at all. Overall, it's best to order a pizza with beer or a soft drink and have no expectations of service or ambiance, then you can definitely give it a try. Or order takeout. The pizza is worth it.

Nali Verse (insta)

Truly one of the worst pizzas I've gotten in Italy. Known for it's cultural heritage of having good pizza I was shocked about the taste of my normal not special pizza. As you can see they have a lot of choices in the menu which is positive. However the dough is not even fully matured as you can see on the picture. Not crusty and too watery. Like eating sauce only. The servers speak very good English and are friendly. They even serve a free drink before.
