Ormai la terza volta in questo ristorante. I piatti, di eccellente qualità, offrono sia la possibilità di tornare alla tradizione sia di provare combinazioni nuove e all’avanguardia. Il personale si è sempre dimostrato gentile e molto disponibile, anche per rimediare laddove le cose non fossero andate come pianificato. Una nota di merito al nuovo maitre Alessandro, che ha reso la nostra uscita di coppia un’esperienza ancora più piacevole, prestando notevole cura e dimostrandosi dolcemente accogliente. Torneremo molto presto.

Ieri sera ho avuto il piacere di cenare da Ristorante Il Cairoli, nel cuore di Milano, a pochi passi dal Castello Sforzesco, e devo ammettere che è stata una scoperta sorprendente. Ne avevo sentito parlare molto bene, ma l’esperienza ha superato ogni aspettativa. Ogni piatto era frutto di una ricerca attenta: sapori decisi ma equilibrati, abbinamenti originali e materie prime di qualità eccellente, valorizzate con tecnica e cura. Si sente la cura in ogni dettaglio, dall’impiattamento all’armonia dei sapori. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: professionale ma anche cordiale. Il personale di sala ha saputo accompagnarci con discrezione e competenza, contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera elegante ma mai rigida, capace di far sentire l’ospite accolto e a proprio agio. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è assolutamente coerente con l’esperienza proposta e con la posizione privilegiata del ristorante, in una delle zone più suggestive della città. È uno di quei luoghi in cui non si va solo per cenare, ma per concedersi un momento di autentico piacere. Non vedo l’ora di tornare per scoprire il menù primaverile e lasciarmi sorprendere ancora.

Siamo stati la sera della vigilia di Natale. Il personale e’ stato gentilissimo e molto professionale. Tutti i piatti, dagli antipasti ai dolci, erano molto curati. La vista sul castello parla da sé. Di sicuro consigliato. Grazie a Luigi, Asiek ed a tutto lo staff

E' sempre un piacere per noi tornare al Cairoli. La cucina milanese è all'altezza della tradizione ma con il pregio della leggerezza. Tutti i piatti sono freschi, gustosi, ricercati ma nella giusta misura. Ci veniamo volentieri anche per la professionalità e per la gentilezza della staff che garantisce un ambiente tranquillo e piacevole, cosa ormai rara. Anche la luce e il décor regalano una piacevole intimità. In perfetta armonia con l'hotel in cui pure siamo stati.

Bellissima esperienza! Il ristorante si trova in centro a Milano, davanti al Castello Sforzesco. Il cibo è ottimo, l’ambiente piacevole. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. Antonella ci ha accolto con estrema gentilezza e ci ha seguito per tutta la cena. Lo consiglio!

We came in the evening to celebrate our engagement and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the risotto, ossobuco, a piece of meat, and the slow butter-cooked vitello—everything was excellent and well executed. The service was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Special mention to the popcorn dessert, which was outstanding and truly memorable. The cozy, classic decor adds a lot to the atmosphere. A restaurant that clearly deserves its Michelin recognition. Highly recommended.

Great experience. The food was amazing and very tasty. All the staff members were super nice. Especially Antonella, the lady that took our order and helped us out with suggestions, that’d fit our taste. If you want to enjoy a good dinner with a calm atmosphere this is definitely the place.

A fine dining restaurant situated within Hotel Cusani Milano, Il Cairoli Bar & Restaurant delivers a warm dining experience. This restaurant is perfect for slow eaters who take their time but eat larger delicious portions. Their dinner starts with the usual bread and a portion of olive oil. Unlike in some places, the bread served here is tasty. My wife and I shared orders of the risotto (very good) and costoletta, to which the waiter, without asking, split the risotto in two and gave us each a plate for the costoletta. Stellar hospitality. Two complaints: - One is the long wait between the two orders. Both my wife and I started to get full by the time the costoletta arrived. - Another is the costoletta was a bit on the dryer side. I wish it was served with more tomatoes so help its juiciness The good things: - Ambience was conducive to talking to your table mates. It felt much more private and the large room helped dissipate noise from the other tables better - Food was generally very good apart from the costoletta that could use a bit more juiciness - Pricing felt worthwhile for a restaurant of this calibre and even more so for stayers in Hotel Cusani Milan who get a discount - Service was exceptional

We had dinner at Il Cairoli Bar & Restaurant on our third night in Milan, and we were not disappointed. We decided to go for the Milan Experience tasting menu, which featured local specialty dishes, and it was an excellent choice from start to finish. The ossobuco risotto was absolutely incredible rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully balanced. It truly captured the essence of Milanese cuisine. For the main course, we enjoyed a cotoletta alla Milanese that was an absolute treat crispy on the outside, tender inside, and clearly prepared with great care by the chef. Every course was presented with attention to detail, and the pacing of the meal was just right. The staff were exceptionally attentive and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Their warm service complemented the high quality of the food perfectly. Although the restaurant is mentioned in the Michelin Guide, we were still completely blown away by how good everything was from the atmosphere to the impeccable service and the outstanding food. If you’re looking for a refined yet authentic Milanese dining experience, Il Cairoli is an excellent choice.

We had the beef tartare with tzatziki for a starter and it was delicious. They provide complimentary bread with olive oil as well which was lovely and warm. The three tomato pasta was wonderful but was outshone by the clam egg pasta. It was honestly one of the best pastas I have had in my life. It had a lovely bite to it and was very lemony in the best way but not overpowering. Tiramisu was very classic and delicious, highly recommend. The ambience was lovely, beautiful decoration and great music. The only let down was they charged €5 for standard bottled water, a little ridiculous. Everything else was very deserving of the price tag.

I arrived the restaurant a bit earlier than opening hour and enjoyed a gin cocktail at the bar. I also highly recommend everyone to try it! I was not very hungry this time.. only tried the signature risotto with tiramisu.. I look forward to try other dishes and the set menu in my next visit to milan! Amazing! Thank you 🙏🏻

Costoletta spaziale, veramente ottima! Servizio cortese ma un po incerto, alcuni membri dello staff si vede che sono alle prime armi e hanno poca esperienza. Locale che non denota nessuna location in particolare, neutro.

Ambiente da rivedere, sembra la hall di un albergo. Il servizio impeccabile tutto molto bravo. I mondeghili e risotto zafferano e osso buco buoni ma niente di speciale. I dolci, solo belli alla vista.

Buon ristorante nel centro di Milano, ambiente raffinato ma al tempo stesso informale e tranquillo. Piatti prettamente della cucina Milanese. Prezzo nella media per il tipo di locale e collocazione. Nulla di indimenticabile ma comunque tutto buono. Ci tornerei.

I’m struggling to see how this restaurant earned its Michelin recommendation, as our experience was a far cry from that standard. While the interior suggests an elegant evening, the atmosphere was immediately undercut by a loud radio station. The food was visually stunning but lacked any depth of flavor; every dish felt underseasoned and bland. Service was the biggest letdown, however. My partner’s main course was forgotten entirely, and when it finally arrived 15 minutes later, the apology felt like an afterthought. there was no real effort to make amends for the lapse in service. Very disappointing. This happened again with the espresso, which we never got.

Great location, food looked lovely but quite underseasoned and played it very safe with their flavour profiles. Service was a bit bizarre. My partner's food arrived, I waited another 10+ minutes before mine arrived, with no explanation in the meantime as to why my food had not arrived. Forgetting something is fine but the lack of communication was strange. Did get an apology for this but came much too late. Ordered an espresso to end the meal on which also never arrived so we paid and headed off. Nowhere near the level of service I'd expect from a restaurant on the Michelin guide.

Service was really good, but the food wasn’t impressive. The cotoletta itself was fine, but the potatoes on the side were soggy and cold, and the rucola didn’t look fresh. Not sure how it’s in Michelin guide. The atmosphere is modern and nice, but it felt more like a hotel lobby.

Ci siamo fatti abbindolare dalle 4.5 stelle degli altri recensori che a questo lungo mi chiedo quanto possano essere veritiere. Abbiamo preso il menù, dopo una bella attesa ci hanno portato un risotto ala milanese scotto e immerso nella panna. Erano presenti anche due piccoli pezzi di carne annegati al centro della dimensione della moneta di due euro. La cotoletta alla milanese era abbastanza tenera ma non era stata asciugata dopo la frittura oppure fritta male, aveva due dita di grasso sciolto sopra. Era accompagnata da pomodorini confit freddi e una manciata di rucola scondita. Il dolce è stata invece proprio la chicca, abbiamo optato per il panettone. Classico milanese. Era talmente vecchio e secco che sembrava un pezzo di compensato dell’Ikea. Location: bagno delle donne sporco e maleodorante. Sala da pranzo molto triste e anni 90.
