Staff were sooo nice and friendly — felt super chill being there. The vibe is really cozy, like the kind of place you’d wanna hang out after a long day. The owner was the sweetest, so down-to-earth and welcoming! Too bad I wasn’t hungry… only had a drink this time, but definitely coming back for the food!

The Navigli area itself is beautiful, with its canals and lively vibe, making it a great spot to explore. El Brellin stands out with its warm atmosphere and excellent food. We had the ossobuco, which was absolutely delicious, and the desserts were just as amazing. It’s a popular place, so booking a table in advance is a good idea. Totally worth a visit if you're in Milan!

If you're lucky enough to grab a reservation at El Brellin, you'll be better for it. A recommendation from our hotel saw us squeezed in for a dinner service and what a beautiful meal. The service and food was fantastic and traditionally Milanese. The history and photos on the wall is worth reading and really interesting. The dessert special of Panettone with marscapone cream was incredible. We had a brilliant night and highly recommend you come with an appetite and enjoy the vibe.

If you’re looking for traditional dishes of Milano, do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt welcomed and pampered by the food and service. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouth. Probably the best meal we had in Milan. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Navigli.

Came here for dinner on our first night in Milan as our hotel recommended this restaurant for dinner as it was by the Navigli River. The restaurant is very big and was filled with a mix of locals and tourists. We ordered a few starters although did not really like the lentil soup. For mains, we got the fish which I liked the most, the veal which was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi which I also really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and service was good. It was a nice first meal here in Milan.

The experience here was great. The location is right off the canal and inside the restaurant is very spacious and nice. The service from the waiters was excellent as they were very attentive and professional. The restaurant had a lovely selection of food and wine to order. The food my group and I ordered was very tasty. I did have a little problem with my steak being undercooked (I asked for medium and the steak came dark red in the middle all throughout). However our waiter was more than ok with bringing it back to the kitchen to cook it a bit longer. It came back the perfect medium. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ristorante carino nel cuore dei navigli che propone piatti tipici della tradizione milanese. Molto buone le pappardelle e la cena è stata gradevole, ma a mio avviso non giustifica assolutamente i prezzi proposti. Trovo assurdo che un antipasto di vitello tonnato di dimensioni esigue possa venire a costare quanto un primo. L'ambiente è carino e accogliente, l'atmosfera ricorda un po' un'osteria più curata nei dettagli. Bagno un po' piccolo. Il personale è stato molto gentile e accogliente, unica nota negativa del servizio è stato che abbiamo aspettato 30 minuti quattro caffè che dopo un paio di appunti sono arrivati tiepidi.

La mia recensione non sarà del tutto corretta in quanto non ho modo di sapere i prezzi in quanto ho avuto modo di cenare in questo ristorante partecipando alla cena aziendale, con un menu fisso ovviamente già stabilito. Il piatto di lenticchie e cotechino era praticamente un entrée...porzione veramente ridicola, saranno stati forse 20 gr di lenticchie e due fettine piccole di cotechino. La lasagna al formaggio d'alpeggio era già invece una porzione degna di essere chiamata tale. Buono anche il tiramisù anche se penso sia veramente difficile sbagliare un tiramisù. Per il resto il servizio mi è sembrato cordiale e la location sicuramente raffinata.

Locale molto carino sui Navigli, servizio molto gentile ma un po' lento ( è da considerare però che era pieno e che abbiamo chiesto il risotto). Ottimi i piatti! Risotto classico super, cotoletta alla milanese forse un po' sottile ma fritta benissimo, ossobuco con risotto buonissimo. L'antipasto di salumi forse un po' "minimal",avrei aggiunto qualche fettina in più visto il costo, ma ottima la qualità. Il loro vino c è piaciuto. Il prezzo non è contenuto ma vale la qualità dei piatti. Consigliata la prenotazione.

Ristorante bello, piatti bellissimi e menu di vini che non lascia un desiderio insoddisfatti! Abbiamo cominciato con il tartare molto buono, l’uovo e il tartufo ci stavano benissimo! Le tagliatelle erano un sogno con il ragù e la cotoletta er perfetta come cottura! Abbiamo bevuto un bel Barolo che è stato decantato. L’unica cosa che disturba e che il servizio non aspettava un secondo per togliere il pane o il pepe dal tavolo. Anche il parmigiano la messo il servizio non potevi aggiunge come volevi!

Ristorante tipico situato sui navigli in una piccola vietta laterale. Ambientr curato e molto originale. Servizio rapido e molto professionale. Le porzioni non sono abbondantissime ma la qualità é assolutamente ottima. Decisamente tutto perfetto. Unica nota sul prezzo, un po alto per la quantitá proposta. Ma a parte questo decisamente da consigliare.

Location molto particolari in uno degli scorci più belli dei navigli. Il ristorante ha una clientela abbastanza turistica (siamo stati lì un martedì sera a cena). Menù tradizionale, esecuzione ottima. Servizio ai tavoli non proprio impeccabile. Abbiamo speso 45€/testa con un piatto a testa (di cui due piatti unici con ossobuco) e una bottiglia di vino in 4.

Good food (except Milan risotto. So uninteresting meal), good place, good atmosphere. I only wish we could get draft beer instead of wine on company event. And one thing - for the first time in my life I experience queue on men's toilet. Why the hell is there only one toilet for restaurant so big?!

Friends and I came here on a recommendation to try the ossobuco. I'm vegetarian so I got the raviolo, which was one of the few vegetarian-friendly options, but it was quite yummy (albeit not very hot by the time they brought it out...). My friends enjoyed their ossobuco, but less than they hoped to given the recommendations. The saffron risotto that came with it was a bit bland. For dessert we shared the tiramisu, which it looks like is now different from past reviews. It was alright, one of the worse tiramisus we've had in Italy. The mascarpone was sort of pudding-y, and not in a good way. Service was fine, somewhat aloof. Overall a decent dining experience but nothing to write home about.

A nice and historical restaurant in the Navigli area of the city, which is among the most busy for both locals and tourists, mostly young people. This place is somewhat superior to the average, as it brings its tradition and a long time presence at its location. The food is good, mostly traditional Milanese dishes, but with some variations as well. Good wine choice, nice service, pleasant ambiance, preserving the old time's atmosphere. Nice location, just besides the Naviglio Grande.

The staff were rude, and very unhelpful when our friend was sick. The food was only average and overpriced. Not recommended at all.

Mi associo a tante altre recensioni che confermano che il posto ok è figo, ma i piatti (almeno quelli che abbiamo mangiato noi) non sono all'altezza né del posto né del pezzo che si paga. Controfiletto con patate minimal nell'impiattamento, a casa lo fai meglio, anche quello con i pomodori davvero scandaloso x 28 euro. Carrè di agnello buono, ma era più il testo del nome del piatto che gli elementi a comporlo, il piatto, pochissimi piselli du pezzi di carciofo. Raviolone dignitoso, ma poco gustoso. Calice di vino 8 euro, la boccia 28... Dai. Cameriere un po' "aggressive", sembrava scocciato e frettoloso. Insomma, avete un bel ristorante, verranno tanti turisti e stranieri e non avrete mai problemi di clientela... vabbè, ma noi abbiamo deciso di non prendere il dolcetto e andarcelo a mangiare da un'altra parte...

Cibo buono anche se con il risotto alla milanese c'era troppo pepe nero. Ci ritornerei?! No. Bello dove è posizionato ma troppo caro. Bellissima osteria che mantiene la struttura e l’arredo di una vecchia stalla. L’ambiente è accogliente, perfetto per un pranzo in famiglia o tra amici. Peccato per il servizio un po’ lento e distratto. Il menù offre sia piatti della tradizione milanese che proposte di pesce e vegetariane. Ho trovato le porzioni un po’ piccole (soprattutto i primi piatti) la qualità è gusto dei piatti nulla di che. Peccato perché la location è bellissima, due salette si affacciano proprio sul naviglio.

Nice but.. Is that it 🫠 ? Well... Prices are high but for what in your plate ? The food is decent but not up to the required prices, the service is good but... That's it... The atmosphere is nice eventhough it may be too dark for some 🙂. This is an old restaurant located on the gran naviglio in Milano. The location is very nice, on a sunny day it is possible to eat outside and enjoy the view on the naviglio. The menu is reflecting the traditional cucine of Milano. The staff is very polite, but the service is too much turistic style. We had tagliatelle with venison ragù and ravioli with ossobuco. The tagliatelle were very good, however the raviolo was missing the taste.

Well the service is fine however the food is not delicious…I have been in Como and Milan for 3 days and had my worst tiramisu here! Even no cream or mascarpone or any brandy/ alcohol in the dessert, definitely a dissatisfaction and disappointment…the only good thing is the waiters

Ristorante carino, cucina milanese, mi sono sempre trovata bene a parte domenica scorsa: abbiamo ordinato antipasto e piatto principale e ci hanno portato tutto insieme. Non abbiamo fatto in tempo a farlo notare che il cameriere è scappato. Il risotto freddo, non era gradevole. Ho chiesto a fine pasto un calice di vino dolce, mi è stato risposto che non erano sicuri ci fosse, e non si sono più fatti vedere. Quando ho chiesto io nuovamente, scocciati mi hanno risposto che il vino non c'era, se no me lo avrebbero portato. Quando poi ho fatto notare alla fine che ci hanno portato tutto insieme facendoci consumare il piatto principale freddo, in malo modo mi è stato risposto che avrei dovuto farlo notare subito. Il cameriere più ineducato era quello con apparentemente più esperienza (lavorava nel piano più in basso). Che grande delusione, non ci tornerò più.

The food was not to the level of our expectations. The topinambur mezze maniche were not creamy and totally flavourless. The capriolo patè appetizer could be a good idea, but it was hard to match the flavours on the dish, so the single items seemed uncorrelated one another. The ossobuco risotto was middle-low quality, not creamy and the salt was not enough, surely not to the level of other risottos in Lombardy. The wine was good, though we got one from 2024 even though the menu advertised one from 2023, which was a better vintage for that wine. Also the 4€ service fee was only justified by the secondary waiter who brought us the dishes, who was way nicer and professional than the one who took our orders.
