Ottima esperienza!! Ristorante molto pulito(anche i bagni) con candele profumate al tavolo che creavano una piacevole sensazione, personale accogliente e gentile servizio ottimo. I piatti tutti buoni ,ci siamo deliziati il palato e piacevole la musichina in sottofondo che creava atmosfera.

Esperienza culinaria fantastica. Tiramisù top e servizio impeccabile. Per un oretta circa ci siamo sentiti viziati. Risotto alla Milanese delizioso e cotto alla perfezione. Super costoletta milanese. Frittura di seppia buonissima e per terminare il re dei dolci.

Nonostante qualche imprecisione nel servizio, risolta alla grande dalla simpatia del personale, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del ristorante. Si mangia davvero molto bene, il locale è elegante ma anche molto accogliente

Ha assolutamente superato le mie aspettative, essendo del mestiere ho apprezzato tutto, il personale è preparato, presente e attento ai dettagli. Cibo delizioso, per non parlare dei cocktail perfetti e presentati benissimo. Talmente sono stato bene che ci sono tornato anche il giorno dopo. Assolutamente consigliato.

Locale rinnovato, ambienti curatissimi e personale davvero molto gentile. Consigliato per una serata elegante ma allo stesso sempre chic. Cibo ottimo.

Se cercate il migliore risotto di Milano, non dubiterete della qualità offerta dal ristorante, accompagnato da un ottimo servizio. Ritornerò senz'altro.

I wanted to taste risotto a la milanese and ossobuco. On my way to my hotel I saw that restsurant and despite the high price decided to get in. First I passed through a charming lady who opened a reservation, took my coat and showed me my table. that was a good and pleasent start. .To the food, The risotto was with real zafran, the ossobuco was excellent, everything was according to the book. It took about 20 minutes to serve it. their tiramisu was served and made on the spot and was very tasty. They all speak english and let you eat with no interference The price is high, but they use the best ingredients and and most professional and creative chefs. It is a restaurant that value and respect the local excellent quisine

We had a lovely dinner here on Friday night (which was our last evening in Milan after a 10-day visit). We really enjoyed the ambiance, the staff were very friendly and helpful (shout out to Francesco), and the food was delicious. Giannino dal 1899 was top tier. The food was delicious and tasted authentic to the Italian cuisine we were looking for. We were not disappointed with our decision to dine here! The restaurant itself was very comfortable and beautiful. The service was phenomenal. Franco, our waiter, was more than welcoming. His kindness, catering to our needs, and amiable personality were very heartwarming and appreciated. This is an excellent choice for dining, and a restaurant you should not miss.

My experience at Giannino was simply impeccable. Despite my numerous food intolerances, the team handled them with great care, still managing to offer me a memorable dining experience. Lovely experience. Delicious food and fantastic service. First course was amazing, we had the risotto alla milanese and truffle pasta. For the main course we had seafood, fried squid and the monk fish. It wasn't the greatest, could have been better but still very good. The table was nice and big and not too close to other tables. One complaint would be the music. Pop cover songs don't really fit the atmosphere of the restaurant, should play smooth jazz or something else more fitting for the style.

Don’t be misled by the description of a trattoria. This is a fine dining restaurant and a very good one. We celebrated birthday here and were very well taken care of. You will see outside it’s listed as a historical place and from the name it’s a very very old restaurant brand. We had sea urchin pasta, lamb shoulder, amberjack in our tasting menu. The lamb was phenomenal. Of course the price is higher. Ladies menu do not come with price. Highly recommended if you would like to experience fine dining in Milan. Reservations can be made online.

Superb service, very exquisite dining and truly amazing cuisine. We received personal attention from Sommelier, Andrea who paired select red and white wines with our two hour lunch. Delicious dessert topped off with espresso and citron was delightful and added to our fun yet fine dining experience.

Parto subito con il dire che la forza di questo ristorante è il personale che è in grado di offrire un servizio impeccabile. Complimenti veramente. Il locale si presenta curato e il suo stile retrò ha un fascino unico. Buona la cucina la quale reinterpreta la tradizione in chiave internazionale. Carta di vini non è un granché poiché ad eccezione delle grande e blasonate etichette ho visto poca ricerca e novità ( fatta eccezione per qualche champagne di vigneron). La proposta dei bianchi italiani è molto ridotta . Prezzo perfettamente il linea con la proposta offerta.

Ho passato una piacevole serata a capodanno. Location davvero molto bella per andarci anche in compagnia. Cibo di altissima qualità, davvero su quello nulla da dire, peccato però che le porzioni a mio avviso siano un po' troppo "striminzite".

Locale elegante e raffinato. Piatti presentati in maniera elegante. Il risotto alla milanese provato era di ottimo gusto con la giusta cottura. Particolare e buono il dessert. Prezzo naturalmente al di sopra della media.

Giannino is an upscale restaurant close to Centrale Stazione Milano. The ambience is definitely nice and very neat with receptionist and wardrobe service. The quality of food choices and taste are definitely very elegant and nice. The service is pretty slow, although there were many people for serving, everyone trying to do their little task definitely could improve. The time for the dishes to arrive were a bit longer. For the price they charge for sure they need to improve their service levels. It is a nice restaurant however you don’t get that wow effect.

We had a great time here and had a delicious meal. The service was excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. Although we were not fully dressed due to the warm weather, we were well received. Price is on the high side but you make it as expensive as you want. In my opinion definitely recommended.

Good fine dining experiences, staffs very friendly and recommended a glass of good red wines. I don't usually like red wines but the recommendation is good for me. We ordered 7 course tasting menu. Food was great and service was promptly. Food portion is slightly more than we expect but managed to finish. Price wise: €200++ for 2 person.

Good ambience with excellent service and authentic food. The linguine with clams I ordered was superb and full of flavour. The waiter was very explicative recommending wines, attentive but not harassing and they finally offered to call a cab for us when he saw us trying to call.

Be careful if you order a meal out of the menu. We order spaguetti with lobster for 2 and they charge us 160 euros for 1 lobster with spaguetti.

The worst experience since my last visit in Milan in this restaurant 8 years ago. I highly recommend Michelin to rework the evaluation they gave to this restaurant since they changed the owner and the entire staff. The quality of the food and the service was really disappointing and embarrassing. The staff doesn’t know how to serve properly and professionally. We were 3 people and they served our food 30 minutes apart for each other so we didn’t eat together. Overall the atmosphere was really uncomfortable. And to sum everything up, we paid way to much. I should’ve never returned there since they changed the owner they ruined the good image this place had. Don’t recommend!

Stay away! One pasta dish, 2 mini appetizers, one bottle of water= 94€. The pasta wasn’t even hot. It was lukewarm at best and lacking seasoning. The place is very formal. You’re not paying for good food; you’re paying for the “luxury”. The food is below mediocre. There’s also a 5€ charge per person just to sit, plus a 10% fee. I don’t recommend this place at all. Huge disappointment.
