HUGE serving, well worth the price! The Ossobuco felt like a warm hug after a long day. It was so soft and would fall off the bone. Lovely staff as well! I came in at 10pm but they welcomed me with warmth. Service was fast and the interiors were nice. This was recommended by my Italian airbnb host! They would go here from time to time as it was their absolute favorite.

Fantastic restaurant hidden in Brera. Authentic Italian with many options on the menu. Food was fantastic (the best we had in Milan) and it is a shame we didn't find it earlier in our stay. Highly recommended and thank you!

We had a lovely lunch at Grand'Italia. Place seems to be popular among locals and is a gem hidden in a labyrinth of small streets. Risotto alla Milanese is incredibly tasty! The Numa salad is great as well.

We discovered this restaurant by chance (open! while most of restaurants were closed mid-August). We are very happy with our discovery. Everything we ordered (pasta, meat, risotto, deserts) was delicious! The waiter was very attentive and friendly! We highly recommend!

Beautiful and cozy Italian restaurant. Came here by the recommendation of an Italian friend. Love the risotto here. Both Barolo & alla Milanese style risotto are excellent! Staff here are very friendly too. We didn’t order any pizza but saw that their pizzas are huge! Highly recommend for anyone to try their risotto.

To come here was a recommendation of a local guy and we did not regret it! The food was great, the atmosphere pleasant and the staff very very nice. Its absolutely not a tourist spot which was an additional plus point. Don’t think twice if you are considering coming here.

Venuti qui per la seconda volta, molto soddisfatti. Cibo buono e porzioni molto abbondanti. Unica nota: la tagliata di manzo viene servita sulla sua padella in ferro/ghisa e continua a cuocere un po’ dopo essere stata servita, dunque consiglierei di scegliere la cottura al sangue.

Quando sono in zona Brera questo ristorante è ormai una tappa fissa per i miei pranzi di lavoro. Propongono un risotto alla milanese davvero ben fatto e una pizza sempre gustosa. L’ambiente può risultare un po’ rumoroso nelle ore di punta, ma il servizio è veloce e la qualità del cibo è costantemente alta, motivo per cui torno spesso.

Buona scelta visti i prezzi della zona. La qualità non sarà da 10, ma il prezzo onesto e le buone porzioni sono un ottimo compromesso.

Buona la pizza al trancio, in ambiente storico, con i tavoli con tovaglie e tovaglioli in tessuto ( ormai una rarità ). Soddisfatta della mia veloce cena pre teatro.

Ambiente semplice, cucina pure. In linea di massima puoi trovare piatti della tradizione milanese eseguiti discretamente, tranci di pizza in teglia e altre proposte Il servizio è rapido, non sempre attento. Prezzi giusti direi, considerata anche la zona.

Immaginate la situazione: venerdì sera, salone del mobile, ora di cena. C'era fila anche per entrare dai kebabbari, ma non ci perdiamo d'animo e rischiamo il tutto per tutto in questo ristorante istituzione di Milano. Tempo di attesa:3 minuti nonostante non fosse pieno. Non so quale divinità ci abbia graziato, ma siamo riusciti a sederci e mangiare. L'impatto con il ristorante è quello che mi aspettavo: una osteria casereccia confusionaria dove si bada poco all'estetica e più alla sostanza. La leggenda vuole che ci siano le migliori cotolette di Milano, e cosa potevo prendere quindi? Il riso al salto con lo stracchino. Scelta azzeccata comunque visto che il piatto ha rispettato le mie aspettative e sono stato tra i primi ad essere servito. I prezzi sono molto bassi considerato che si mangia nel cuore di Brera e ho trovato la proprietaria simpatica. Il personale stava correndo ai 300 all'ora, ma poteva essere diversamente considerato il periodo? Bravi tutti. PRO: ambiente rustico che adoro, prezzi ottimi, piatti nella media CONTRO: conviene sempre prenotare essendo un luogo storico

Nice restaurant close to Brera district but in quiet spot. Relaxed and popular atmosphere with warm wooden furniture and checkered tables, many option on the menu. I tried the pizza al tegame that is kind of different from what you expect because is a slice ( a big one though) a not a full one and soft and spongy , the taste was delicious. we had as well a caesar salad very good quality. Service was rapid and personnel kind. Reasonable price x the place and the food. Strongly suggested.

Discreto. Ne ho approfittato in pausa pranzo e ho provato il riso alla milanese con salsiccia. Buono, si fa mangiare ma niente di trascendentale e soprattutto un po’ di salsiccia in più avrebbero potuto metterla. Servizio cortese ma non proprio sul pezzo: ho chiesto un tagliere prima del riso e mi è arrivato prima il riso, poi mi è stato chiesto se volessi ancora il tagliere. Ho speso 13,50€ per un riso e un caffè..in generale non economico ma economico per Milano. Per la pausa pranzo si può fare.

Charming cozy pizzeria. Friendly helpful staff bemused and friendly at our limited Italian. Order slices, which are huge. Enjoyed the Napoli and pizza with the ham and artichoke. They have big windows on the street, darker inner seating was available. My friend and I ordered two slices between us and split each one so we got two different types each, just right. The pizza had a nice slightly crisp bottom edge yielding to a chewy thick crust, the style in Milan.

Tre piatti, zero sorprese: cotoletta di vitello, riso al salto con prosciutto crudo e costata di manzo. Speravamo di scoprire una perla nascosta, abbiamo trovato una cucina senza guizzi

Le mie due stelle sono date a malincuore. Premetto che questo posto ha per me un valore affettivo famigliare in quanto ci andavo con mio padre che a sua volta ci veniva da ragazzo quando ancora nel locale c'era il tavolo da biliardo. Ora, la pizza è sempre buona, alta e succulenta ma: 1. Nella sala grande stipano una quantità di tavoli che sembra di stare in batteria (tradotto: zitti che dobbiamo far saltare fuori quanti più posti possibili) 2. Il coperto è una tovaglietta di carta, un tovagliolo che sembra un fazzoletto da naso, 2 posate, 1 bicchiere ( 3 euro!!!!!!!) 3. E qui veramente tocchiamo l' amorale: 1 litro di acqua 4 euro!!l Ma neanche fossimo nel ristorante in riva al mare coi pesci che ti saltano nel piatto! Ecco, si perde l'atmosfera da pizzeria verace qual'era. Il Brera district, il design e tutte queste parole vuote stanno privando Milano della sua bellezza e dello spirito dei luoghi e degli abitanti. In nome del turismo straniero e delle etichette.

Attesi 45 minuti x 1 fetta di pizza. Hanno portato la stessa pizza al tavolo a fianco, ke era arrivato dopo di noi. Personale arrogante e pronto a mettere in dubbio l'evidenza. Cibo nella norma . Anni fa era molto meglio. Ora mai piu'.

Unfortunately, my experience was not good. Although the staff was very polite, our table was wobbly. Worse, there were so many little flies inside; their presence really made me question the hygiene standards of the place. The menu was very large and included non-Italian food. I ordered a smash burger, and even though I was starving, it was the worst burger I’ve ever had. I don’t understand why you offer burgers if you can’t make them properly. The pizza wasn't even better than regular Spontini. It's not worth the price.
