Great choice for lunch! The Piadinas are larger than they look in the photos and very filling. I ordered the Riviera Piadina (tuna) and it was excellent.

Da vera romagnola, la piadina non è un solo un piatto, ma una vera e propria tradizione che porto nel cuore. Con grande piacere posso dire che la Bottega della piada è un angolo di Romagna, nel cuore di Toronto. Ingredienti ottimi, staff capace, atmosfera impeccabile, completano tutto perfettamente. È sicuramente un posto dove tornare, con il cuore e con l’appetito!!

Piadina eccezionale e materia prima ottima . Personale cortese , ambiente accogliente . Perfetto anche per pause pranzo. Consiglio a tutti di provarlo perchè ne rimarrete colpiti e non potrete fare a meno di ritornarci.

What a nice new place in the downtown core for traditional Italian sandwiches! I haven't tasted one of these delicious flatbread sandwiches since my last trip to Italy. No other resto in Toronto makes these. The bottega has a nicely balanced menu for foodies of all kinds. Freshly prepared from what I think are high quality ingredients. A nice street view of Richmond St East as well. I had the La Mortobello for lunch on Wednesday, Nov 5 - very satisfying.

We recently had an event for our student group catered by Bottega della Piadina, and I cannot stress enough how happy we were with the results! The piadine were made fresh to order with high-quality imported ingredients. Every component was incredibly fresh, from the cheeses and cold cuts to the arugula and basil. The flavours were phenomenal, and the sandwiches were generously filled. All of our students loved them. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary and Chef Roberto. Their patience and support throughout the planning process were exceptional. They accommodated all of our needs, including multiple dietary restrictions and allergens, and were organized, thoughtful, and communicative. We will absolutely be using them again for future events. Third time here today in a month. I highly recommend it ! Delicious and authentic, I enjoy the sweet treats a lot, especially the one with fresh peaches, honey and cheese. Yummy and freshly made, nice coffee as well.

25$ for a sandwich and soda is steep for this level of food… also a little entitled to ask for a tip when there’s no table service it’s basically takeout with the option to stay. I get that it’s not fast food, but there’s no table service… However the portion was pretty big and could be shared if you are not too hungry. I had a Crescione with “prosciutto” mushrooms tomato and cheese. It’s basically a fancy name for pizza pocket . The prosciutto tasted more like thinly sliced side of ham… I’m not sure why some posts claim they use Parma prosciutto? Otherwise not bad over all

The piadina I had wasn’t bad — ingredients were decent and the flavor was fine. However, I’ve enjoyed much better piadine in terms of portion, richness, and balance. This one was quite small and, at $17/18 felt overpriced for what it offered. There was no price list for drinks, and food was handled without gloves, which for me is a hygiene concern — especially when multiple ingredients are prepared by hand. I understand the place may still be getting organized, and I sincerely hope things improve with time. The potential is there. As an Italian who has eaten many authentic Romagnola piadine, my expectations were naturally high. The photo I’m sharing is from a different place, also in Toronto, where I paid the same price — simply to show what a gourmet piadina can look like. Out of respect, I won’t name the place .

Was looking forward to trying out this new spot in the east end but we were both unfortunately pretty disappointed. Bottom line: the sandwiches aren’t good, we got La Classica and L’Ortolana. The bread is really bad. The sandwiches just lack that flavour you’re looking for. However, The space is really nice and sparking clean. And the staff is super friendly!
