We visited this place to take a break from Italian food and boy did we find a gem! The atmosphere is very cool, with a dimly lit intimate room. The food was great, we ordered the black paella (squid ink) that came with shrimp and squid. We also had some patatas bravas and squid as an appetizer and they were delicious. Service is also great, which isn’t a common thing in Milan.
La Casa Ibérica in Milan is a wonderful spot if you’re looking for authentic Spanish flavors in a warm and lively setting. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, and the service is attentive and welcoming. The tapas are well-prepared and beautifully presented, with highlights like jamón ibérico, croquettes, and anchovies from Cantabria. A special mention goes to the black paella: rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It may not be strictly “socratic,” but it is absolutely worth ordering — a dish that captures the essence of Spain right in the heart of Milan. All in all, a delightful experience that combines quality food, friendly service, and a genuine Iberian touch.
as a Spanish myself, I am really picky about Spanish restaurants that are not in Spain. I am happy to say that this a truly authentic Spanish cuisine ! we shared the torreznos, croquetas, and patatas bravas and (even though a bit overpriced) they were very good !! we were lucky enough to sit outside, however I truly recommend you to book in advance.
Excellent spot for snacking on delicious cured meats and wine - had a great time sitting outside here watching the world go by. Highly recommend the tasting plate and the selection of cheeses. Great house wine for only €4, we had a blast here and would definitely be a regular if we lived in Milan. They had the best bread served with a delicious tomato topping as well.
Authentic and stylish place with very delicious Spanish tapas and food. We went there for 2 times, while our 3 days stay in Milan. Our favs were iberico tasting, duck croquettes, burger and seafood paella. Also, we really enjoyed the selection of Spanish natural wines at very reasonable prices. Great experience, definitely coming back.
Explore Milan... when we walking around and want to find snack.. we saw this place and there’s pork!! 😍😍 so we excited to try it! And the taste is so GOOD! It’s small place but comfy and there’s lot of people come to enjoy the food and hangout with their friends. Someday will come back here again for sure...
Cozy, friendly authentic place with fantastic outside area. I had the best burger I ever had I suggest to try it if you pass by. thanks Fabiola for your service!

Came for a snack. Really enjoyed the food. Everything was good: the food, the service and the atmosphere.
We really liked the drinks and food, as well as the friendly service. And always nice to hablar un poco de Español en Italia :D
Great vibe, delicious food and wine. A refreshing change if you are wanting a change from Italian food in Milan.
I went with the recommendation of a friend. Since I didn't have a reservation, we waited for a table around 15 minutes and we sat at a table outside. We placed our order consisting of paella, mixed cheese and sangria. The paella was very ordinary, the cheeses were nice, but the sangria was really wonderful and very good. The tables were very small, the ambience, service and staff were poor. it was good
Tiny place, which was too full during the design week. We took various tapas, churros, beers, a board of meat, sangria and crema catalana. Everything was good and tasty. The only thing is that the music is loud and there is not enough space for the waiters to move freely, as the table stand very close to each other. But if ut doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice place
Found this Spanish gem walking down Corso Garibaldi and Via Mercato Location - right at the brim of Corso Garibaldi, it is located on the beautiful street Via Mercato. Easy to reach with the tram. Facilities & atmosphere - Great and very Spanish atmosphere. The only thing I would probably criticise is that the decor is very “meaty”. That way you can’t bring any vegetarian nor vegan friend to this place. Even sitting outside you will see some pig legs. Food & beverages - I had a simple food platter and it was very delicious. The wine was great. Staff - very friendly staff. Thank you for the great food recommendation. Their English is also excellent and they adore dogs - so everyone is welcome. Overall, great place for friends of Spanish food.
Nice little place, cool ambience and quite relaxing with the low lights and rustic decoration, ideal for a date ;) the service was great, a little unorganised at first as we hadn’t booked and it was busy so a little Chaotic to be seated. That said our eventual waiter was very friendly and helpful guiding us through the menu. Great selection of food! It’s on the expensive side however it is very authentic and of very good quality, i think even the Spanish would agree it’s the closest they may get in Italy to the real thing! Tasty food and an enjoyable evening I’d recommend it and I’d definitely return to try more dishes!
It's the third time we've come here because the food is really good (everything is delicious except for the paella, which is a bit lacking and honestly made with too few ingredients), but we keep facing the same issue: disorganization and inefficiency. The host at the entrance is always unprepared and inattentive. The service is far too slow. Yesterday, after waiting 45 minutes at the table without being served, we left. They really need a competent manager and well-trained staff because it's such a shame.
My review has changed over the years. I am what you may for sure call a frequent flyer to this restaurant, I come a lot and have introduced many people to it. But the customer service keeps getting worst and that is an important factor for me. Food: very good consistently. Everyone does the aperitivo which is great. I honestly would do better with a plate of patatas bravas, pimientos, gaspcho and jamón. I like dinner and even lunch as well if you work nearby. Ambiance: sometimes it gets dry inside. But in general great music, nice decorations and people. The chairs sometimes uncomfortable depending on where you seat. Service: this has certainly gotten worst, they are not nice during your stay and then throw you out after 1.5 hrs. It has happend to me 2 Times over the per month, even when more people arrive and you are still ordering food and drinks, they ask you to leave telling you they have bookings. Then you call for a table and they say they do have table … so they clearly favor only the rotation, not clients that have already been there. The new staff definetly not like before.
Pros: Friendly staff, pleasant venue, and good sangria. Cons: The food isn’t authentic tapas. Most dishes seem pre-made and the tapas menu is limited. The paella was overcooked and dry, with sparse …
