Had a quick stop in Milan and while visiting Duomo and gallery, found this place for dinner. Service is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the location. Bolognese was tasty (even though there was no Parmesan cheese), and served quickly. But it’s been a surprise when the bread basket was included to the bill (+5€) as I assumed this was complementary, since I haven’t ordered it. Don’t know, maybe this was their punishment for me for ordering cappuccino at 6 pm 😅 speaking of which, coffee was accompanied with their signature sweets (almond meringue if I’m not mistaken), these are pretty good and luckily I wasn’t charged for these extra 👌 Overall, it’s a nice place, but the bread basket charge felt like a tourist scam 🥲

I always drink lemon water at restaurants, and this place had the best service by far. The food was delicious. I had the truffle risotto, which was the dish of the day. The bread served before the meal was average, but the meringue served afterward was delightful.

We reserved a table at this restaurant for our dinner in Milan as it was recommended for the delicious pizza. I can say the taste did not disappoint as it completely presented the true Italian recipe. I was also quite impressed by the tiramisu as I've never eaten a better one. Everything arrived fast. The atmosphere is nice but the tables are too close to one another. We were not satisfied by the service as our sever was a bit rude and looked at us disdainfully. The prices were normal and the location is convenient next to the duomo.

1st of all portions are a disaster you’ll never get full of it and you’ll need more food , beside the unreasonable prices and the 5 euros cover for each person on the table Pasta was fresh and tasty , but the portion of the lasagna was so small also it was not cooked well (no gratin) , pizza was perfect but no marinara in it , could be better with marinara Service is 10/10 They add 4.5 (cover) per person

3.5 ⭐️ Food was just okay and not TOO expensive considering for the location of the restaurant. The service was great, our waiters were really nice. We got lasagna and La Locanda Pizza, the pizza was just alright but the lasagna was good. We arrived at 7pm ish and had to wait around 5 mins to be seated so maybe keep into account that you may have to wait a bit or make a reservation in advance

Great food with great ambience, albeit with service that was far from great. I’m not sure what’s the point of asking if we wanted drinks if the waiter is unable to take “no” for an answer. When we asked if we had to pay for water, he replied curtly with a “sure” whilst muttering something incomprehensible in Italian after we declined. I would describe my experience at this restaurant as less of a dining experience and more of a social experiment designed to test how much disappointment a person can endure in one sitting. The food ranged from aggressively mediocre to actively hostile and the service made it feel like our mere presence was a personal inconvenience. Let’s start with the food, because wow. The fettuccine was so salty i considered whether it had been seasoned with seawater directly sourced from the Mediterranean. The risotto followed, proving that consistency can be achieved, just not in a good way. The pizza arrived absolutely drenched in oil to the point where it looked less like a meal and more like a slip and slide hazard. As for the sirloin steak, papery thin, entirely tasteless, and somehow both difficult to cut and chew, which honestly takes talent. Now, I could almost forgive mid food if the service wasn’t equally tragic. Unfortunately, our waiter appeared to be living out his final shift before quitting hospitality forever. He dumped the cutlery onto the table like he was dealing cards in an underground poker ring, rolled his eyes multiple times and looked profoundly bored by the concept of doing his job. When pouring water, he spilled a significant amount everywhere and did not acknowledge it. No apology, no eye contact, just vibes. Taking our order was an even stranger experience. While we were speaking to him, he looked away, waved at someone outside the window, then fully turned around to chat with what appeared to be his friend, leaving us mid sentence like a paused YouTube video. It was impressive, honestly. To add insult to injury, there’s a €4.50 cover fee, presumably to fund the oil reserves used on the pizza or to compensate the staff for having to interact with customers at all. Overall, this restaurant managed to combine bland, poorly executed food with service that felt borderline contemptuous. If you’re looking for a place to spend too much money, eat underwhelming food, and feel like an inconvenience the entire time, this might just be the spot. Otherwise, I’d recommend literally anywhere else.

The rudest staff and service ever! My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. The staff member who took our orders was extremely rude. He insisted that every person must order a separate dish, then pulled the menu away before I even had the chance to look at it properly. On top of that, he forced extra charges for things like “table covers and olive oil” without informing us beforehand and he said it’s written in the menu while he pulled it from me. When I refused to pay these unfair charges, he became aggressive — he came very close to me, tried to grab my phone, surrounded me with chairs, and started yelling in a very hostile way and call me with ribaldry words. I honestly felt unsafe. He was fat old grandfather man wearing sunglasses. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly do not recommend anyone to visit this place.
