Abbiamo mangiato la carbonara abruzzese e la pasta al ragù, entrambi i piatti molto buoni. Ma il chicchino è stata Anna, la ragazza che ci ha accolto e seguito. Gentile, solare e davvero affabile. Un pezzo di Roma nel cuore di Brera. Pietanze buonissime e che rispettano la tradizione romana, come la trippa o le polpette al sugo. E poi ovviamente lei, la carbonara. Cremosa, con guanciale croccante e sapida al punto giusto. Poi i ragazzi della sala, tutti gentili, cortesi e simpatici. Una menzione speciale per Anna che è stata di una gentilezza straordinaria! Sicuramente a presto!

È uno dei posti migliori in cui sia mai stato: gusto eccezionale, personale gentilissimo, ambiente pulito e servizio veloce. Un ringraziamento speciale ad Anna, davvero professionale, gentile e sempre sorridente — ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. È un posto che consiglierei senza esitazione ad amici coreani, ai loro genitori, davvero a chiunque. Solo per questo locale, ho voglia di tornare di nuovo a Milano.

Tempi di attesa brevi, cibo impeccabile. Ho mangiato le polpette della nonna come antipasto che erano buonissime, come primo la carbonara che davvero ho apprezzato moltissimo! Concluso con un bel tiramisù, piccolino ma buono… Il servizio è stato impeccabile, cordiali e molto disponibili, soprattutto Anna là cameriera molto disponibile e simpatica! Prossima volta che devo mangiare romano a Milano passo di qua sicuro!

Carbonara was absolute perfection… Rigatoni perfectly cooked, sauce perfectly creamy, and the crispness of the Guancialle was absolutely delightful! Enjoyed every bite beside the amount of fullness after the nice plate of meatballs. Tiramisu was above average and worth trying for a cherry on top. Atmosphere was nice but there was one song the Christmas playlist which a kid shouting “I’ve seen my mom kissing Santa “ more than 5 times which slightly kill the vibes:) Good service but the time between two dishes was slightly too long, waiter was friendly! Overall Wonderful experience!

We had an amazing experience! The food is great, atmosphere is impeccable, and the service is top notch. The gentleman who sat us was lovely and helped us find the exact wines for our meals. Our server Ana was such a doll! She was so warm and welcoming and hit the perfect mix of friendly while letting us have our own space and conversations. I’m a celiac eater and she was great with allergens. She specified if it was an allergy and confirmed the chef would separate everything to ensure my food was safe. Came to Maccheroni for dinner and had a really great experience. Anna looked after me and recommended the starter platter so i could try a bit of everything. It was a generous portion and really good. She also suggested I order a smaller portion of pasta for my main because the starter was quite big, which I really appreciated. no upselling, just honest, thoughtful service. The food was great, the vibe was relaxed, and I felt well taken care of. I’d definitely come back and would happily recommend this place. (Free melon chelo!! Such a nice gesture l!)

Despite our very late reservation on a busy Saturday night, the team graciously found a way to accommodate us—a gesture that set the tone for the entire evening. The standout dishes were the Carbonara, perfectly executed with rich, silky sauce and impeccable balance, and the Veal Milanese, which arrived crisp, tender, and beautifully seasoned. For dessert, the Apple Cake was a warm, comforting highlight—lightly spiced, delicately sweet, and an ideal finish to the meal. Very good Italian food nestled in a cozy alley away from the hustle and bustle of Milan. The restaurant was very welcoming and cozy. The food was amazing and genuine and the service especially by our waitress Anna was the cherry on the cake as she made the experience that much greater. Our family enjoyed both delicious food and attentive service. The atmosphere was wonderful, our table was situated in a corner and we actually could hear each other and enjoy the conversations. Every dish was excellent, especially the “La Originale” and the onion omelet. The panna cotta was 5 stars!! Definitely will return when in Milano.

Locale piccolo ma molto carino. Servizio buono e attento. La carbonara è davvero ottima e super abbondante, con grattugiata di parmigiano e pecorino fatta direttamente dal cameriere al tavolo, dettaglio molto apprezzato. Unico aspetto negativo: i prezzi un po’ alti secondo me. Nel complesso però è stata una bella esperienza. Consigliato!

L'insegna può attirare più clienti, soprattutto turisti, ma allo stesso tempo si presta a recensioni critiche qualora il cibo, in particolare la carbonara, non sia entusiasmante. E questo è il caso, per ciò che riguarda la nostra esperienza almeno. La pasta è gustosa, sapida ed equilibrata qualora la forchettata includa anche il guanciale. Il sapore diventa invece più piatto e modesto se la forchettata è senza guanciale. Una carbonara è eccezionale se risulta buona anche solo nella sua crema, che con la giusta dose di pecorino, uovo, sale e pepe dovrebbe essere sapida e gusta di per sé. Se il prezzo è poi fuori mercato (un piatto a partite da 27€), questa aspettativa deve essere attesa. Servizio scenografico e forse troppo formale. Ma è stata carina la finalizzazione del piatto di carbonara al tavolo. Location ben curata, con cucina parzialmente a vista.

Tried their carbonara and it was really good. The guanciale was super flavorful and crispy, and the pasta itself was delicious. Would’ve loved a bit more cheese on top though. Prices are on the higher side – even a regular beer felt expensive. I really enjoyed the food and the vibe of the place. Totally worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a proper carbonara.

Purtroppo non ho trovato nulla di così eccezionale: la carbonara era nella media e le porzioni erano piccole. Inoltre, il servizio è stato piuttosto disorganizzato: attese lunghe, poca attenzione ai tavoli e una sensazione generale di confusione.

The place itself is really nice, and the service was great too. However, the bruschette and the cacio e pepe were nothing special, a bit overcooked and lacking salt. As an Italian, it’s quite disappointing to have such an experience with a basic dish in a restaurant that specializes in pasta. Nothing terrible, but you can definitely find better options around.
