Very nice restaurant not far from the central station. Delicious meals, nice personal service and very good wines. Every year when we come with our family (+20 people) to Milan to shop in January we book here. We enjoy every time again the familiair service, delicious food and wines. Top restaurant!
We had a very nice meal at this place. Delicious lobster tagliolini.Fresh homemade pasta And the best tiramisu ever. Also the owners were super friendly. I really recommend this restaurant
We were only in Milan 2 nights & wanted to try a true local spot. This place was the BEST meal we’ve ever had. Made the short stop in Milan worth it. The chef came out multiple times to help perfect our experience. The waiter was wonderful and gave us an amazing dessert recommendation. Absolutely FANTASTIC. JUST GO!!!! A hidden gem in Milan.
Arrived by 9pm with nearly no other customers. So we had a quiet night. The food was recommended by the owner, and it is the best I had so far in Milan besides those fancy restaurants. I would’ve give 6 stars to the steak if I can.
This restaurant was an absolute gem. We came here several times and were met with an extraordinary level of care and service. There's not a dish you can go wrong with. The Ossobucco with risotto was fantastic, as well as the steak with truffle sauce. Noblesse Oblige feels like an authentic Italian dinner experience. I highly recommend eating here!
We had our first dinner in Italy at this little gem of a restaurant last night and we couldn’t have been happier. All of us thought our pasta dishes were the best we ever had. The staff were so kind and recommended fantastic wine pairings. The place is beautiful and we highly recommend
A perfect meal. I thought I was home and my grandfather had cooked dinner....and if you knew my nonno , you know he was an excellent cook! quiet, off the beaten path, and a lovely atmosphere. Carissima ordered the stuffed scallops, stuffed salmon with fennel and orange and the chocolate soufflé with ice cream. I had the assorted cheese, the tortellini with beef and tomatoes and the apple pie with ice cream. The waiter even understood my limited italian and brought the coffee just the way we wanted it! It would be a difficult task to find any fault with any of our dishes...perhaps a touch more salt on the scallops....but im really nit picking....every thing was delicious, even the olive oil they put on the table to dip bread in was exceptional. For reference, I come from a big Italian family and eating good food is essential; its what we do; we all can cook because it IS that important; we know what's good....and Noblesse Oblige is exceptional! I neglected to take a photo of the tortellini, mi dispiace!🙏
We had lunch here before catching a bus to the airport at the central station. It’s only about a 5-minute walk. The food was fantastic, the best we had in Milan! The prices are quite reasonable, and the service is excellent. They were so nice to accommodate us as we showed up a bit early. The owner even came out and chatted with us. Highly recommended!
We visited this place for an evening meal, it was exactly what we were looking for. My mum wanted something with seafood and ordered a home made pasta dish with muscles, prawns and squid - she said it was the best she’s ever had! I wanted something simple and opted for the Cacio e Peppe alla Romana - it was rich, creamy and delicious. I have wanted to try this for a long time and could tell it had been made with care. We also ordered wine, bruschetta and a dessert to share - all were delicious. It is great quality food and priced fairly. Wonderful hospitality even on a cold Tuesday in January :)
A group of 4 of us came in for dinner. One of our party was a vegetarian. We stopped outside to look at the menu and the maitre D handed us out a menu. It looked impressive, but there wasn’t much choice for our vegetarian friend. The maitre d said they could accommodate her, no problem. So we went in, and we were delighted we did. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, the tables decorated tastefully and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, even though there were few customers in. To start we shared a calamari starter and a tomato and mozzarella dish. Both were delicious. The calamari were cooked to perfection, after being lightly dusted in flour. The bread basket that came, was hot out of the oven and accompanied by a really good quality olive oil and a balsamic vingegar. Of course we ate it so quickly, we had to get a second! I had the risotto Milanese with osso bocco. The meat fell off the bone and was full of flavour. The risotto was cooked to perfection. The other 3 ladies had pasta dishes, cooked to order, fresh and fabulous (my veggie friend was very impressed with how she was accommodated. She also loved her food). We had a bottle of red and white on the table that were reasonably priced and of very good quality. When we thought we couldn’t fit any more food in, it was time for desert. We couldn’t resist trying some as the quality of the food had been so good, so we ordered a crème brûlée and a homemade grandmas apple tart. Both were exquisite! I would highly recommend this restaurant. We felt relaxed, welcomed, catered to, and well fed. The staff were very lovely, and again, so accommodating and really good value. I just felt sorry for my husband and son who would love to have been there with us…next time 😉
It's been over a month since we visited this restaurant but I wanted to give some proper thought on writing about our wonderful experience dining there. We stumbled across this restaurant in search of vegetarian food in an area where we realized options were limited and were very warmly welcomed in. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful as it had a lovely lavender theme and was classy and spacious. The owners were very accommodating and gladly suggested some vegetarian options for our family of five. The bread and chilli oil starter was fresh and tasty and was an incredible preview of the dishes that were to come. We started off with vegetarian pizza which was incredible...having had pizza so often during our trip we were blown away by how delicious this vegetarian pizza was. And just when we thought nothing could top the pizza out came another incredible dish - a mushroom and zucchini risotto. Each dish was a marvel and yet again the owner/chef presented us with another outstanding dish - pear and cheese ravioli with poppy seeds. Each dish danced on our taste buds sending waves of euphoric delight. We ended the meal with tiramisu and coffee - which we agreed was the best we ever had. The authenticity and sincerity of the owners/chefs shines through their food. They really put their heart into each dish. The owner was kind and stopped by to create some banter. Thank you thank you thank you to the owners for making this culinary excursion a memory we will forever cherish not only of our time in Milan but our entire stay in Europe! Wish you continued success in creating everlasting memories in creating food with emotion 🙌
Such a wonderful restaurant and central and easy to get to. The ambience is beautiful and the decoration in purple for me throughout and everything is very clean. I fell in love with the decor so much that the owner even gave me 2 napkins. All in all, the restaurateurs here put their hearts into their work and are so friendly. But let's not forget the food. The menu is authentic and the prices are in the middle range. I think the price-performance ratio is very good. 29eur for pasta with half a real lobster, for example! The food tastes great and fresh. We felt more than comfortable!
Highly recommend, would return! (UPDATE: And we did for our last night in Italy). Worth the short walk from the train station. Reasonably priced. $10-$18E pasta entrees. Group of 8, 2 families, from USA. Family owned restaurant mama and older son greeted us, both VERY friendly and nice. Quiet location, some outside tables, inside looked very nice, white table cloths but casual. He spoke very good English she good enough. Great food selection, today's pasta specials were fresh made today and tasted like it!! Wow! Everyone loved what they had including teenagers. Not one issue!!
Ambiente molto luminoso e piacevole.
Tutto ottimo, locale confortevole, personale cortese, prezzo pari a qualità!! Ci. Ritorneremo!
Consigliato
We had a lovely meal here and the hostess was very helpful despite not speaking much English and us not speaking Italian. The food was excellent, especially the milanese and risotto. Even when a couple of rather rude and disruptive customers came into the restaurant, the staff remained polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here!
I stayed in Milan for one night and, after hearing excellent reviews, decided to dine here with my wife. The restaurant is cozy and family-run, with only the mother and her son taking care of everything, which gives it a very personal and authentic touch. Before I mention the food, I want to highlight the hospitality. In many touristic places in Italy, we felt that if you don’t speak the language, people can sometimes be unfriendly or impatient. However, this was a wonderful exception. The son was incredibly welcoming, kind, and always trying to explain and help, which made us feel at home right away. Now to the food — simply the best we had in Italy. As a welcome, they served us bread with extra virgin olive oil, and I can honestly say I had never tasted oil of such high quality in my life. We ordered the tuna tartare with lime and mint, the tortelli with cheese and pear, and the spaghetti with fresh lobster. Each dish was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. This is not the cheapest place in Milan, but it is absolutely worth it for the quality and experience. If you love good food and appreciate genuine hospitality, I strongly recommend visiting — you will not regret it.
Pranzato in due, ambiente un pó datato. Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente non all'altezza.
