I gave it 5 stars, but my review is of how the bar was in 1975, and I'm pleased to see that after more than 40 years, it enjoys such a high reputation. If I ever find myself in Milan again, I'll definitely stop by for breakfast. Congratulations.

We found this place by accident, kinda far from city center. A lot of italians eats here :)) I strongly recommend this place. Low prices and tasty. Coffee is the best. We had breakfast here everyday in past 3 days!

Posto pubblico tranquillo, c'è anche tabaccheria. Si può consumare caffè in piedi o seduti nul bar. Persone molto affabili. In compenso un buon posto.

Prezzi giusti . panini morbidi dentro e leggermente croccanti fuori.buoni. migliorabile il menù cartaceo in 1 sola copia per tutto il bar...

Very convenient for a quick lunch during a workday. The service is excellent! The piadina was very good (though I did notice one thing I didn't like: the napkin sticking to the hot cheese...). The price was fair.

Avoid. We arrived and the bar was practically empty. The guy who had probably celebrated the night before after serving us croissants instead of cappuccinos, I think, fell asleep because he didn't even put on a coffee. In the meantime, another group arrived and started serving them. The croissants were mediocre. There are better bars nearby at Portello.

Short guy with a goatee and ponytail with an arrogant and unbearable attitude and behavior. Otherwise, just another bar. They no longer have white chocolate croissants (argument with the supplier?) and the previous management was much better. This morning the adjacent Dream Café (more expensive, by the way) was full of people and they were empty. There must be some reason? 🤔😏

They changed management a couple of years ago. It's gotten much worse. Dark place with staff who don't seem to care about the customers. Average cappuccino and an undercooked croissant. Breakfast cost €2.80, average.

Unfortunately, I can't give it less than one star, otherwise I would have gladly done so! This morning, I entered this bar for my first (and last!) time, and when I said "good morning," the counter staff didn't even say hello (a young man in his thirties with short dark hair and a beard at the coffee machine, and his mother, I assume, at the register). Not even a smile, which for someone who works as a barista should be the first thing (a job I've done for years!)... I ordered a latte macchiato, and while the young man prepared it, his mother prepared the saucer and spoon for me. After ten seconds, my eye fell on the spoon, thankfully, and it was dirty!!! I pointed this out to the young man, and he, as if nothing had happened, with a careless smile took it away without apologizing for the inconvenience and said, "I'll just give you the long spoon for the latte macchiato." An environment with zero professionalism, work uniforms don't exist in this pseudo-bar... After finishing my drink, I paid and left without saying goodbye. Never again. Zero professionalism and rude staff. Highly not recommended!

First time I've visited this place: Dirty, hot, full of flies. The croissant was stringy. The staff was unprofessional. I won't be going back.
