Authentic Roman style Italian cuisine which is great to find it in Milano. If this is the type of food you fancy or want to explore I recommend giving this restaurant a go. Service was really quick and the menu had plenty of options, so should be fine with a group of people with different tastes. Menu was via a QR code, which was inconvenient for my grandmother. Other than that all good.

When I imagined going to an authentic Italian eatery, that what was in mind. It was an experience I couldn't replicate after in our 10 days trip to Italy. Wait staff were professional and kind. Food was excellent and authentic. While I'm not a wine connoisseur I did enjoyed their ½ vino de casa carafe. Would definitely return to try more of their food. Originally wrote this review at the beginning of our stay in Italy. Revising it now after being here for a month. Definitely recommend the food and atmosphere at Piazza Roma! We ordered the penne pasta with arrabbiata sauce and it was delicious, along with the house white wine. For dessert, the tiramisu was so yummy and the chocolate cake was our favorite. Friendly waiter, however, made us feel rushed to order (seated us but then 5 mins later told us that the kitchen was closing and we needed to order). At the end, pointed to the bill and said “tip?”. After being here for a month, we have received better service than this. Good food but be cautious about tourist scams.

I was left alone for the day in Milan so decided to walk down the street. It is literally just a block away from our hotel. I chose a seat outside. The waiter approached me and helped me navigate the menu. I had carbonara and steak. It was the best carbonara ever! The steak was heavenly too! It was so tender even though it was well done (because i was pregnant). If i could only order a glass of wine, it would have made my entire trip to italy.

Visiting Milan for the first time and wanted to try local cuisine. We experienced absolutely delicious food, affordably priced, in a fun atmosphere. Ristorante Pace Piazza Roma was a truly great dining experience recommended to us by our hotel. Service was very expedient and attentive. Food was absolutely fantastic. Tim had the Risotto and I had the Tagatelle. Both lived up to and exceeded expectations. Would definitely return.

Well deserved 5 stars. Friendly staff and extremely delicious food. Both the manager and the waiter deserved big thumb up. Sorry for not getting your names. The location was a bit outside the Milan centre but for us it was a great position only 5min walk from our hotel. If you wish to go in this restaurant, which I recommend to, book in advance because it is very famous with the locals. In the menu you can find both topical milanese and roman food. It's worth the money you spend, compared to other restaurants this one of the cheapest with good value for money. During my stay I went twice and I was satisfied.

The appetizer was so generous it needed its own table! And the selection of charcuterie was extraordinary-especially the truffle prosciutto! Then, the Milanese veal cutlet was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and literally the size of an elephant’s ear. Delicious!

We traveled to Rome 2 weeks ago. I had every day a pasta carbonada, now we did spent a few days in Milaan... And I would absolutely say this was the BEST pasta carbonada I ate in Italy. The pasta from my wife was super tasty to. We had as an starter the artichoc, this was an interesting starter, it does taste like crisp and then the nutty sweet flavor from the artichoc Prices are good. And the staff is super attentive and well trained.

Ristorante romano in via Washington che propone piatti sia della tradizione romana che milanese. Il menù é vasto, tra antipasti di mare e terra, primi romani, primi milanesi, secondi di mare e terra. Sono andato sul classico romano ed ho provato: - Amatricina: buona. Con l'aggiunta di altro formaggio me la sono goduta. - Carbonara: non mi é piaciuta molto. - Supplì: sottotono. L'ho trovato secco. Formaggiosa, cremosa ma non aveva il sapore spinto classico della carbonara. Il personale é molto gentile, il locale é tutto a tema Roma.

Prima volta in questo ristorante di cucina romana, ma non solo, a milano! Atmosfera accogliente, il personale che si è occupato del nostro tavolo è stato gentile e disponibile. I piatti abbonamenti e davvero tutto molto buono. Abbiamo consumato piatti tipicamente romani e non hanno assolutamente deluso le nostre aspettative. Ci tornerei volentieri. Unica cosa che mi sento di consigliare, una rivisitazione al colore delle pareti...giusto per rendere l'ambiente più fresco...molto carina l'idea delle foto di grandi attori romani alle pareti.

Esperienza tutto sommato piacevole. La cortesia della cameriera veramente sopra la media, ha migliorato senz'altro l'esperienza. Carbonara veramente ottima, amatriciana nella media così come le polpette al sugo. In generale non ci tornerei una seconda volta ma ci ritornerei una prima (non so se mi spiego).

È un posto adatto ai non vegetariani, c'è poca scelta per chi non mangia carne/pesce. Il servizio è educato, giovane e si impegna (il che è lodevole), ma non esibisce una formazione solida quindi non aspettatevi che il prezzo sia adeguato al livello del servizio. I piatti sono preparati con cura, le materie prime sembrano di qualità. Nonostante questo, non tutti i piatti sono risultati brillanti (l'amatriciana per esempio). Nel complesso, una esperienza positiva soprattutto per la gentilezza dei camerieri e per l'atmosfera del luogo, ma senza avere aspettative troppo alte sulla cucina.

I was very much looking forward to dining here after reading the reviews. The SPAGHETTI CARBONARA (EUR12) was indeed one of the best tasting in my life… it was super creamy, there must have had been half a dozen egg yolks in there… and you’ll get to enjoy the crispiest, deep fried fatty pancetta in your life. Be forewarned though, this dish redefines the meaning of “richness”… it’s so intensely rich that it tickles your throat as it goes down… not for the faint hearted and one order is certainly sufficient for two to share. The PORCHETTA (EUR16) was sadly a disappointment. Unlike the thick slabs of crispy pork shown on the menu, I was served thin (super salty) slices of non-crispy roast pork, nothing to call home about.

Siamo stati in questa osteria romana a Milano con aspettative piuttosto alte. Il locale è carino e accogliente, la classica osteria romana tradizionale, con un’atmosfera calda e conviviale che invita a sedersi. È anche molto simile a un’altra nota catena di osterie romane presente in città, tanto che inizialmente pensavo fosse l’originale, anche se non ho ben capito quale delle due lo sia davvero. Abbiamo iniziato con un fritto de Roma: capisco la zona (Via G. Washington) e i relativi prezzi, ma 12 euro per 2 olive scolane, 2 crochette di piccole, 2 polpettine di melanzana, 1 supplì e 1 fior di zucca… è oggettivamente sproporzionato. Qualità discreta, quantità decisamente insufficiente. Sui primi, purtroppo, sono emerse le principali delusioni. L’amatriciana ordinata dal mio ragazzo è risultata poco convincente: il guanciale non si sentiva se non lo mangiavi, la pasta era leggermente scotta e il sapore del sugo era di pomodoro bollito, senza la tipica amalgama di una amatriciana. Io ho scelto una cacio e pepe con carciofi: nel complesso buona, soprattutto la parte centrale del carciofo, morbida e saporita. Nota positiva sul servizio: il cameriere è stato molto amabile e simpatico, perfettamente in linea con l’atmosfera da osteria. In conclusione, un locale gradevole e accogliente, con un buon servizio, ma con piatti che non giustificano del tutto le aspettative. Un’esperienza discreta, che però lascia un po’ di rammarico per quello che avrebbe potuto essere.

Ristorante di cucina romana situato in Via Washington, è una bella zona ma non è molto facile trovare parcheggio. Dispone di molti coperti e di una sala in seminterrato, le pareti del locale sono pitturate di rosso acceso e arredate con gigantografie di attori famosi. La gestione del ristorante sembra tutt'altro che di origine romana, un aspetto che forse avrebbe aggiunto un po' di calorosità alla cena, che è risultata tutto sommato con un' accoglienza abbastanza fredda, non come ci si aspetterebbe. Menù diviso tra cucina romana e tradizionale italiana. L'antipasto mix romano x 2 è stato un po' deludente, dava l'impressione di essere un misto di fritture prese alla rosticceria del supermercato. Anche la carbonara non ha entusiasmato, il pecorino non si sentiva e nel complesso il piatto non era né "saporito" né cremoso come dovrebbe essere. Meglio invece la cacio e pepe. Per quanto riguarda i secondi, la tagliata di manzo ci è piaciuta, era un buon taglio ed è stata rispettata la cottura desiderata. Dalla consegna dei menù alla comanda, la costante presenza dei camerieri intorno al tuo tavolo fa percepire oppressione durante la scelta mettendoti un po' a disagio. Osserverei più organizzazione nel servizio dei camerieri e comunicazione tra loro.

La valutazione è da fare considerando il prezzo. Se volete spendere 40 euro a persona questo è il posto giusto. Bene ma non benissimo solo perché alcuni prodotti sono surgelati come i frittini. Il resto è tutto buono ma senza nessuno spunto. La location è un po’ scontata e nel 2026 non basta più attaccare alle pareti quattro foto di attori romani della dolce vita. Ci ha serviti un cameriere di origine cinese molto carino e veloce. Sala sotto piena davvero rumorosa si fa fatica a parlare.

You can say what you like... But the food sucked balls. I'll post some photos but it'll show the presentation but the taste and flavor was missing. I had the Milanese risotto with ossobucco. It's supposed to be a classic dish that you can find everywhere in Milan. Please don't have it here. (No Browning of the beef and it tasted like the whole thing was boiled in water before serving and masked with a orange looking gravy) My friends had seafood linguine which again was totally tasteless. We were wow-ing about the steak Florentine big enough for 2 people but when it was served... I thought the steer was just MURDERED. Gamey and bloody. No caramelization. Nothing. They had to take it back to re-do. I HOPE THEY IMPROVE. IF YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE. GO AHEAD. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

posso parlare solo di come si mangia a pranzo. Purtroppo non benissimo. E a volte peggio, come gli spaghetti aglio e olio di oggi. A peggiorare le cose, aver pagato 15 Euro per primo, dolce, calice di vino e acqua. Ero stato un paio di anni fa o poco più ed ero rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla bontà del cibo, decido di tornare questa sera con amici e devo dire che il cibo era veramente pessimo, antipasto di frittini male, in particolare fiore di zucca e melanzana malissimo, pasta salatissima ( mi bruciavano le labbra ) e decisamente scotta, la carne sembrava la suola di una Air Max. Commento raramente, ma così non va bene, oltretutto non abbiamo speso poco, non abbiamo mangiato poco ma per la qualità avremmo dovuto spendere almeno 15/20€ in meno. Mi sembra più una trappola per turisti. Addios. Aggiungo che il gabinetto è stato nostro amico plurime volte.
