Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo veloce prima che dei nostri amici partissero in vacanza. Lo spritz era buono e veniva accompagnato da un tagliere. Personale molto amichevole. Il signore del bancone ci ha pure fatto assaggiare della pasta e delle polpette appena fatte. Tutto molto buono

Scoperto casualmente grazie alla posizione del nostro albergo, a pochi passi da questo bar. Ci abbiamo fatto colazione perché nel nostro hotel non era inclusa, e non posso che esserne grato. Il gestore è un mito: un vero milanese che fa questo mestiere da sempre, con una famiglia che gestisce caffè da 53 anni. Un luogo magico, fermo in un tempo migliore, in una zona di Milano ormai svenduta al miglior offerente. Un presidio culturale di milanesità. Torneremo, e forza Milan!

Ottimo posto per fare colazione a un prezzo giusto. Il barista ti fa sentire subito accolto. Il bar è frequentato da lavoratori del posto, il che rende l’atmosfera ancora più accogliente. La prossima volta che saremo a Milano torneremo sicuramente.

Il miglior bar di Milano! Sono andata per fare colazione prima di prendere il treno e ho avuto il piacere di chiacchierare con il proprietario e con il signor Antonio. Persone meravigliose e, ovviamente, colazione ottima!

Our best Italian experience! We spent 3 days in Milan, 2 days in Venice, 6 days in Tuscany and 2 days in Florence. Italy was incredible throughout, but the street bar cafe won our hearts with its authenticity, lack of pretence, welcoming charm and simplicity. Tucked away, un-presuming and quitisential, we visited it 5 times in 3 days from morning cappacinos, afternoon apertivo and mid-day espresso, it was always perfect.

wow delicious toast with fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes - the best I have had in Milan! The cappuccino with soy milk was perfectly frothed and didn’t taste burnt, which is hard to do with soy milk. The owner let me practice my duolingo Italian and was very patient and kind. The prices were the best we’ve seen in the area, unlike the other cafes that are overpriced near the train station. fair and honest and clean.

We absolutely loved starting our mornings here. The owner is so warm and friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, friendly, calm, and the coffee/pastries were delightful. The prices are very fair. Chatting in the morning, with the owner's mothers (she had us call her nonna), she told us how they have owned the bar for over 50 years. It is a truly lovely family experience, and when you are there, you feel as if you are a part of the family too. Honestly, it was our favorite part of visiting Milan. The owners son gave us recommendations for things to see and do, and even ran the logistics for us on how to make a short day trip to Lake Como, and set us on our way. I can't recommend this place enough. It will for sure be one of the first things we do, next time we are in Milan. It will be like old family coming for a visit. 10/10

The croissants here are DELICIOUS. PERIOD. This was our go-to place for coffee, croissants and wine during our entire stay in Milan. The owner is extremely hospitable, the environment is nice and welcoming. The prices are great too as compared to other places in Milan Centrale.

Il servizio del ristoratore e la sua gentilezza erano molto cordiali e gentili, tuttavia, il locale non è stato il massimo. Il bagno è completamente da cambiare (provare per credere), il bicchiere d’acqua con il cappuccino era sporco e non lavato (non mi è piaciuto molto) e ci siamo seduti in una brutta posizione nel bel mezzo del marciapiede con le persone vicino a noi che uscivano dal condominio. Il prezzo era un poco esagerato. 7,50 per un cappuccino è un panino.

14€ per 4 caffè e 1 brioches vuota. Oltre alla truffa, il cameriere ha insistito più e più volte per farci pagare in contanti (chissà come mai….), anche con scene da mercato: “Contanti nessuno? Qualcuno con contanti? Davvero nessuno di voi ha contanti?”. Il cameriere pensava di essere simpatico quando ci ha detto che erano 14€ in totale “con lo sconto”. Uno di noi aveva chiesto semplicemente un goccio d’acqua insieme al caffè, gli è stato risposto che non servono bicchieri d’acqua, ma solo bottigliette alla modica cifra di 3€ l’una. Abbiamo insistito, chiedendo solamente un mezzo bicchiere d’acqua del rubinetto. È tornato con 4 bicchieri (di plastica) strabordanti d’acqua (immagino del rubinetto) che abbiamo comunque alla fine pagato visto il totale, che comunque tre di noi non volevano neppure. Per chiudere in bellezza un ragazzo, che non si capiva bene se era un dipendente o un ragazzino in after dalla sera prima che si aggirava senza senso di fronte al bar, a quanto pare origliando, si è intromesso nella nostra conversazione chiedendo spiegazioni su quello che stavamo dicendo. Da evitare, anzi sarebbe meglio da chiudere.

Apparentemente servizio gentile, peccato che per due brioches e due cappuccini (di cui uno doppio) ci abbia fatto pagare 8,20€, senza scontrino. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni per gli 8,20€ (vedendo che da listino 1 brioche era 1,30€ e il cappuccino 1,50€) mi dice che nel prezzo c’era anche l’acqua (??), che non abbiamo ordinato e mai ricevuto, se non in due bicchierini ad accompagnamento del cappuccino. Quindi il signore mi ha fatto pagare approssimativamente (perché senza scontrino è difficile fare il calcolo preciso) 1,50€ per due bicchierini di acqua non richiesti ad accompagnamento del cappuccino. Oltretutto brioches pessime, sembravano vecchie di qualche giorno, e cappuccini bollenti quasi impossibili da bere.

Ci ha fregato con il prezzo il Lavagna c’è scritto apertivo €5 aperol , abbiamo comprato due, più un latte macchiato 25€ totale , una cosa che no. Andava, ho pagato con la carta comunque farò una denuncia, perché è un furto.

I ordered a brioche, it tasted very bad and it was from another day not a fresh one and the crema inside were disgusting, 2 years living in Milan and this is the worst brioche I have ever had and I threw it into the trash. The staff are friendly but the atmosphere is very suspicious

Arrived in Milan for the first time, was with a family of four, it was late and was hungry. They poached us walking by. They give us a quick glimpse of the menu and then made their own recommendation, we went along with it. Three dishes of chicken and vegetables, one margarita pizza, bruschetta, salad, two small water bottles, 1 beer and one processco. We were charged over 250 euros, we were shocked but still paid. After we paid the waiter still had the cheek to come over and demand aggressively for a tip which we felt compelled to pay. Explore the area thoroughly as within a few metres in each direction there are more genuine places to eat. Beware don’t get ripped off. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. - beware.

I don't know how this got good reviews! My friends and me wanted to spend the time waiting for a connecting train in milano centrale in this cafe to have a small breakfast. We were almost pressured into ordering immediately and ordered a few drinks and pastries. Even though one of us speaks Italian fluently, the communication with the staff was really difficult from the start. We did get our drinks, but most of the food we got was not what we ordered. When we tried to figure out the miscommunication we were immediately alleged of having ordered different things. Apparently, what we ordered was not available, but instead of telling us, we were just given other things. When paying, we asked the staff about it and were quite disrespectfully talked to. They told us we got what we ordered which was simply not true. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was super uncomfortable, cannot recommend.

This was the worst café experience of my life! The waiter didn't respect boundaries, brought food we didn't order and was very rude and adamant when we addressed it. He then proposed a discount which we didn't end up getting because his colleague didn't believe us when we told him we had gotten a lemon pastry instead of a cream one. He talked over my friend the entire time and the atmosphere was terrible. Food was okay but not worth the emotional damage.
