Delicious and fresh pizza. Edit: went back today and got myself a pistachio donut and it was absolutely delightful.
Got a plain pie and mushroom pie. Very good! Mushrooms are cooked before being put on the pizza and are fresh. Just a very good pizza, good work.
The pizza is delicious fresh toppings, and a nice crispy crust. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the staff and service is great. And in addition, the gelato is amazing and homemade. Unique flavors. And they sell the best coffee in the area by far. The coffee is roasted and delivered within three days and makes a delicious espresso, far superior than anything else that’s being served or roasted in this area. If you know and understand coffee, you’ll appreciate the difference. And try the homemade donuts as well!
Great people who always are quick to throw in a pie for you even if u didn't call ahead. Also, if you haven't tried their vodka pepperoni pizza you have not lived yet, do yourself the favor and call in a pie, it goes quick, and 3 slices is never enough.
This is by far the best pizza I have had in the tri-state area. Nice and thin crispy perfect blend of sauce and mozzarella to where the pie is almost orange in color. Same way they make it back in Brooklyn. Good job guys.
Love this place! 🍕 I recently tried the Margherita pizza, and 2 of the housemade gelatos - peaches & cream and vanilla - and everything was perfect! The sauce is a family recipe, and you can tell how much care they put into their menu. There are even gluten-free and vegan options!
Great pie! Amazing flavor and excellent service over all. A little cramped for space, but not real complaints. 100% would go again.
Made a quick stop while passing through the beautiful town of Milford. The pizza was pretty good. Don’t sleep on the Tiramisu
I have been getting pizza from this establishment for awhile. In my opinion, they are the BEST. Their pizza was perfect. I had one of their donuts too, Extraordinary. Compared to other places (I won't mention names) this was the best
Food here is super great. Came here recently with my wife and we had an amazing lunch. Owners are very friendly and restaurant is very clean, bathrooms and all. Thank you for a great eating experience, coming back soon! 👍😎
I honestly to god forgot that pizza could be this good. When I first saw the pizzas, they looked a little cool in the glass case, like they had been sitting out for a good minute, and I was doubtful. But my nose...the gentle smell of fresh crust I was getting made me take a chance. I got the Eggplant Parm pizza (thin strips of chewy eggplant parm and dollops of ricotta)...and it was delicious. A thin, chewy crust with a gentle crunch, the alternating flavors of salty parm and creamy ricotta...I remember sitting there for a moment, just suddenly so happy I walked in. I started on my second slice. This one looked mildly terrifying, thickly covered in pink vodka sauce with very little discernable cheese and liberally dotted with small circles of pepperoni. Oh. I swear the flavors exploded in my mouth. A little kick from the pepperonis, but it was so good. Same beautiful chewy crust. The vodka sauce was so sunlime I didn't miss the cheese a bit. I walked in exasperated, exhausted, and with my head absolutely spinning. I walked out feeling like I'd found a beautiful gem. Highly recommend.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, food(bruschetta pizza!) is great, and their Halloween Apple Pie pizza is DELICIOUS! Hoping they bring it back for Thanksgiving! Reason for atmosphere 4 star rating: location is a bit small with about 5 - 7 tables.....but completely understandable, they just opened; I see big things in future for Carini! Don't hesitate to stop by for a pie!
Stopped in for a quick pizza for lunch. It was recommended by a coworker and it was a great suggestion. Shared a large bacon pie and it was excellent pizza. They also allowed me to have simply a cup of ice water at no charge. Our waitress was excellent and made the experience as well as the food! Will definitely go there again!
This place looks like it's been here forever! And apparently it has been, off and on. Carini is a small place, seating maybe 25 patrons. Decor is sparse and simplistic with a few watercolor paintings decorating the walls. I remember walking in about 10 years ago or so and the center of the food walking through the air made me think, now this is going to taste good! Little did I know I would not get back again because of life and other issues for another 10 years. For my family it was definitely worth the wait. They didn't break the cardinal rule of chicken wings, NOT BAKED! but FRIED their wings. The Buffalo wings sauce taste was accurate but as I chose "Hot" ( between hot and mild available) I was pleasantly surprised to find the about a perfect medium; saucy, crispy, chewy and fantastic! Probably the best wings to date in the area. For starters we had the fried zucchini, french fries, fried mozzarella and chicken roll. If fried zucchini, French fries and fried mozzarella were as to be expected, hot and crispy... definitely acceptable if not unusually hot.....thats a good thing. The Chicken roll was very lightly seasoned chicken (if at all) but the real story of that dish was the crust, or the dough. Soft and chewy and everything you expected from a pizza crust. A little more salt and some Italian seasoning would probably do that wonders. For what it was it was definitely large enough and acceptable. We ordered the plain pie, the New Yorker, and the bruschetta pie. Not being a fan myself of a New York style pie, (and full disclosure) Pizza in general, I wasn't crazy about the by itself, but my family seem to like it. The bruschetta pizza however, was a different story; with an ultra thin crispy crust, it was absolutely fantastic! Our server Lexie was sweet, professional and attentive; really couldn't ask for more. They have various flavors of gelato available, and we definitely tried the tiramisu, which even after stuffing ourselves, was deliciously decadent.
Since their re-opening a few months ago Carini's deserves praise. Prior to their closure a last year even though the food was excellent I stopped going. This was due to the staff being disorganized and rude. They also stopped doing reduced price pizza Monday. I'm happy to see they took the feedback about their staff and how the place was run. I've been back twice and the staff have been exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The pizza is delicious. Hope they keep the momentum going since I would like this to be my go-to spot for pizza.
This is a cute little pizzeria tucked into a side street. You might miss it if you aren't looking carefully for it. Pizza is good with a nice crisp thin crust. They made me a vegan (cheese less) personal pie, but charged me fully for toppings even though I was subtracting the cheese. That's not exactly a vegan friendly policy! Limited options also make this a less than perfect place, but the options they do have are high quality.
The pizza is a nice thin crusted pie. Crispy and good flavor. Could use a little more sauce. While the pizza is good the donuts they sell are a disappointment. Look big but very hollow.
This is our first time ordering from this pizzeria. We ordered because it says NEW YORK style eighteen inch pizza. We looked at the menu and noticed that there menu isn't extensiv As other restaurants are with pastas and chickens and meat, so we assume that they focused their attention on pizza and it would be very good.. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. My whole life Williamsburg, Brooklyn to be exact and so was my husband. We don't know what part of New York style pizza they were aiming for but this did not hit the mark. The pizza was extremely thin bordering on a Grandma style pizza. I don't know if we were given a leftover or Day old pizza but it was very hard and stiff when it arrived. I will be honest, I'm not a person that likes to give out bad reviews, but sometimes it needs to be said because I will always give someplace the benefit of the doubt that maybe there was a stand in pizza maker or there or they were extremely busy. I do hope it was one of the 2 because we would really like to try this place again And like it. There aren't many good pizza restaurants in town. I am not a big fan of pizza but my husband is and he could eat pizza 7 days a week. If it was allowed in our home. I will say we both agreed that the sauce was tasty. The cheese was good and it seemed fresh. It was cooked well as far as the bottom not being burned, which I could understand that would be the reason for it being so hard. There really was no reason that we could see outright.
Very upset that I went there for a slice of chicken pizza and mushroom or spinach, they told me that they couldn’t put it on a regular slice but had to make me a pie, walked out of there extremely upset and disappointed.
