Was in the mood for Ramen tonight and stopped here for dinner. Had to scan a QR code to see menu and order food. Wish I could have just ordered the old fashioned way. But once you completed all the sign up and understanding how to order the food was tasty
Delicious food. The ramen, sushi and teriyaki chicken were all so good.
I went here around 2pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. This restaurant has multiple locations and they have a large variety of Japanese food and desserts too! I tried their Dancing Dragon Roll, Dynamite Roll, Chicken Karaage, A5 Wagyu Nigiri, Takoyaki, Tonkatsu Ramen, Tonkatsu Plate, and Fried Ice Cream. Everything I tried that day tasted good and I was surprised how crispy the outside of the Dynamite Roll stayed. That crunchiness made it more enjoyable to eat and it’s a pretty sushi roll too! I’d recommend this place! I’ve been here several times before and I still find myself coming back. They have a large menu and there’s still items I want to try here.
Sushi spot with a balanced variety of saucy and non-sauced rolls. Their specialty selection is limited relative to other local spots, but you'll likely find a roll that fits your craving. Food tasted fresh. The "Lemon Calamari"'s flavor was different in what I had expected. It somehow has the flavors of sushi (maybe they use eel sauce), which elevated it for me. Service was friendly and order was prepared quickly. I had my takeout order available in about 10-15 minutes. Modern atmosphere and fairly busy on a weekend night. I would come back! The calamari was unique and rolls were good.
We had some different rolls at this sushi place! We ordered salmon skin roll, Philadelphia roll, salmon avocado roll, and umami roll. They are all savory and tasty! The salmon skin roll was a blast! However, the dining experience would have been better if this location had physical menu. The Yoshi at the other location has physical menu, easier to browse all the items they have. Overall the food was great, and we didn’t wait too long for the food to get served. I would definitely visit this place again for more rolls!
For a small sushi spot in Milpitas, this place has a large selection of food. You can pretty much order anything related to sushi, and they will have it. The presentation is nice, and the food tastes great. Highly recommended.
this is one the best sushi spots in the south bay area! huge selection of sushi and specialty rolls, nigiris, special sashimi combinations. we ordered the 10 pc sashimi special and enjoyed it so much — it was thickest cuts of sashimi we’ve ever had! we also ordered omakase box (8pc) which came with wagyu, otoro, uni, salmon belly and other selections. the portions were so generous and the fish was extremely fresh!
What a gem! I am always apprehensive about new sushi places. Yoshi Sushi did NOT disappoint. It has become mine and my partner’s favorite sushi place. I have yet to dine in, usually take out, but the interior is very nice. There seems to be new additions to the menu occasionally, which is exciting, we love that! Every single ingredient is tastes so fresh and the flavors have been consistent each time we have gone. Their Lion King Roll is my absolute favorite of all the sushi places I have visited! They are one of the latest places open in the area AND they have a late night happy hour! I look forward to attending one of these days!
this sushi restaurant is amazing!!! we ordered the sushi & sashimi deluxe combo and it was 10/10 presentation. but most importantly, everything tasted so fresh! we also ordered the Hamachi Kama and it was the best i've tasted in the bay area. also, the service was GREAT. the staff helped us with recommendations and were very friendly. highly recommend Yoshi Sushi and will definitely check out their other locations as well :)
Excellent service by the team of wait staff! Started with the salted edamame, definitely enoughfor 2 people (not pictured). It was warm and hit the spot. The spicy Ramen (not pictured) was perfect and there was lots of it... enough for tomorrow's dinner! The spicy geisha roll was really good and had a nice kick to it too! A must get is the deep fried banana dessert! We had it with chocolate ice cream and OMG the flavors and crispy just meld together, it's now a must get every time we go!
Still same amazing food! ❤️ Original review, One of the best sushi I've ever had! Great quality fish, tasty miso, attentive service! Rice under Nigiris weren't packed correctly and it was off! Wasabi was great quality and not cheap stuff! Will definitely come back!
I had such a nice experience here. The staff was polite and worked fast. 💸The total check was $70 ($35 per person). 🧃At first, we ordered drinks: Orange Ramune, Strawberry Ramune. It's served in bottles and tricky opened. In my opinion, the Strawberry Ramune is more tasty than orange. But next time, I'm not going to order them ;) We choose 3 rolls from the exoctic section: 🍣Yoshi Special Roll $16.50 was incredibly delicious. It says that it has light spicy, but it was super light (it's OK for me because I am scared of super spicy food). Super soft and melt in mouth, all ingredients were well thought out and perfectly matched with each other: shrimp tempura, spicy crab meat, cream cheese, topped with avocado, spicy mayo, unagi sause, cranch. Roll was a huge, more than other rolls. Definitely deserve attention, and now it’s clear why they are branded. 🍤 Dragon Roll $16.50. However, the first roll was tastier. Anyway, all the ingredients were fresh: shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, topped with avocado, BBQ eel, and unagi sause. I'm sure a lot of people will like this roll. 🦁Lion King Roll was hot and had strong salmon flavor. If you like baked salmon, it's roll for you. I like how it served: on a leaf (a great idea). ⛩️I like the interior (they have ~20 tables), in the middle of the room you can watch your meal being prepared, everything was clean. Thank you, and good luck☺️
Atmosphere: cold. Wear long pants and shirt Good music Menu is electronic. I prefer regular. EVALUATE Nigiri ------ Akami- Tuna EXCELLENT White Tuna Tataki- like onion rings-NFP GOOD Hot Sake

Had a delicious dinner at the location been a fan through Door Dash for awhile so glad we finally made it to YS. David and his wife were extremely friendly and hospitable this will be a frequent place to visit
The food is phenomenal here! The staff are so friendly and give great recommendations.
What a great surprise! We didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the food, but not needed. Great place, fantastic service. We really enjoyed ordering through the in-store QR code. Everything we tried was delicious, nicely served. The customer service was great beginning to end. We will come back for sure!

The sushi boats are gone, and you order by scanning the QR code, but Yoshi sushi is still a solid choice if you want a nice Japanese lunch or dinner if you're in the area. Lots of locals like it. The dancing dragon, caterpillar, and dinosaur rolls we ordered are on the sweet side. Maybe it's the sauce. The sushi tasted fine. The high volume of customers ensures their fish is sold consistently. The dining room is medium-sized and might fill up quickly. Prepare to wait during busy periods. Service is friendly and efficient, and parking should be fairly easy. I Clientele is diverse, meaning a mix of old and young. That said, the atmosphere is casual and not too noisy. Which allows for conversation.
Craving sushi for lunch. We tried three sushi rolls and hot sake. Service was nice and efficient. The textures were fine although not a fan of the fried one with spicy tuna, a little too much sauce in top, had to scrape off.
Automatically, they served water, wasabi, and ginger up front. The background playlist was modern music My autistic son successfully ordered his teriyaki chicken on his own and really enjoyed it. I ambitiously ordered the delicious Spicy Ramen soup, which had more heat than I can handle. Meanwhile, my wife ordered us the Agadashi tofu as our appetizer, which tasted good but looked greasy compared to other Japanese restaurants. My wife ordered the Rainbow roll and Chirashi which were delicious, but the Chirashi sashimi was cut large. My complaint is the wobbly table and appetizer served with entrees at the same time.
Pros: helpful servers, nice decoration, good food, large portions Cons: not many noodle options, green tea was served in a metal cup that is usually used for cold drinks. They didn’t have to-go cups and we had to have our drinks in bowls to take out.

First time I came to this restaurant in months with a friend. Rolls still look really good and taste very good and fresh. Rolls are large and are a good value. Service was first rate. Server was professional and polite. Seated very quickly. Lots of free parking in front. Interior has been upgraded since last time I was here. Modern Japanese style that is pleasing to the eye. Easy to have a quiet business lunch meeting. Still a place I would recommend my friends to go to.
Yoshi Sushi is an okay spot for sushi in Milpitas, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark for a great experience. The quality of the sushi is decent, but nothing outstanding. The rolls are pretty standard, and if you’re looking for authentic flavors or fresh, high-quality fish, this may not be the best choice. Not the worst, but not worth recommending. If you’re craving sushi, there are better options around Milpitas.

So I had left a review about Guillermo's unprofessionalism and rude attitude over the phone and getting incorrect items which it was the restaurant's fault. Because they are the ones who gave me veggie appetizer instead of shrimp appetizer and Tonight I spoke with the manager and he said"no I will not do anything about". No apology,no compensation,he just doesnt care about the customer. So I will be proceeding with legal litigation against this place. See you in court jin
