Love Sabatinos. We've lived here for almost a year now and are beyond happy we discovered this place. Shout out OC Local. Hands down one of the best places we've found in MV, let alone OC. Everyone is always so nice and the food is excellent. We order here at least once a month, if not more.

Family own. Nothing fancy, but the food was some of the best tasting I have ever eating. Large portions. The service was excellent. Talked to a guy saying they have the best pizza, too.

This place is fantastic! Because of Covid 19 we had to order take-out and eat om the tables for outside dining and they made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and the staff was excellent. My huband is a born & raised NYC, so therefore he is particular about his Italian food and even he loved it. Thankfully we found our new spot here in the O.C.

The pizza is always delicious, and the people there are incredibly friendly. The house salad had that delicious shredded mozzarella on top with black olives, which are the best part of the salad. The tomato bruschetta and eggplant parmesan crisps were nice to share for appetizers and had lots of flavor.

The best part of our experience was the staff and service! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, specially Shawn. We ordered 2 beers, garlic bread, a small pizza and veal with scalloped potatoes. The least favorite was the veal but everything else was really tasty. We’ll be back!

This place is so special!! The food is amazing, atmosphere is great, the owners are the kindest people you will ever meet. I ordered catering from here for my college graduation and engagement party and everyone was complimenting the food for days! You are seriously missing out if you haven’t tried Sabatinos!!!

The owner's son, David, was our server and loves what he does. Knows the menu extensively. The marinara sauce is the best I've ever had. Zesty, flavorful, and tangy. The owner, Wally, made sure we were enjoying our meal. Super quiet ambiance.

This place is amazing for a nice easy Italian dining experience. Went for a birthday and they comfortably seated the six of us. The lobster ravioli us astounding, and there are great wine specials on Wednesday (at least at the time of writing this).

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had in a very long time! My in laws loved their food too. Would come back in a heart beat!

We tried this place for the first time recently and it was SO GOOD! We did takeout (writing this during the 2020 pandemic) but the outdoor area they had set up for dining looked really cute and we definitely want to go back and do that. They had market lights, plants, and socially distanced seating. We picked up our order pretty close to closing and when my husband ran in to get it, they said they'd given us some extra bread free of charge (we had literally already ordered one type of bread in addition to the bread that comes with the pasta so this was a THIRD type - - NOT complaining, they were all DELICIOUS!). We will definitely be back - both of our pasta selections were great but there is a lot more on the menu we'd like to try.

They do more here than rip open a can of cheap tomato sauce and shake in some shelved Italian seasoning. This restaurant is situated in a quiet corner of a nondescript Albertsons strip mall, but the tastefully upscale interior makes it seem like it could be facing Sunset in West Hollywood. The front staff are friendly enough that you don't forget that this is a suburban neighborhood mom & pop. Food is 5/5 value is 5/5 service is 5/5. I have purchased meals from Sabatino at least 16 times in as many months with zero problems.

What touched me most is how the owners genuinely care about people, even those they've never met. Their generosity and hospitality are rare and inspiring. They've been running this place for 28 years, and it's no surprise why it’s still going strong. They truly deserve all the success and recognition. Respect and congratulations to this amazing family!

We had to split the spaghetti & meatballs a bit too much so definitely order extra if you have more than 4 people. Salad was fresh and the Caesar dressing wasn't fishy. Everyone liked the pizza and we each had a single garlic knot. Overall, a good meal.

We order pizza here all the time. Today the pizza was just average. My wife orders the large pizza with cream sauce instead of the tomato sauce. Could not taste the cream sauce to the point it tasted like they forgot it. Needless to say the pizza was very dry. I hope it was a different cook and not a regular thing. I will try one more time before making a judgment on this place.

The place is what we would call "typical Italian". High priced and quality of food is not that good. It used to be better, but somehow the quality of food is getting worth with every visit. This time We ordered a pizza and it was burned to the extent it was bitter tasting. You can get a frozen pizza at Albertsons for a third of what we paid at Sabattino's. This was our last visit there. Next time if we crave Italian food we will go elsewhere.

It was busy, but there were plenty of tables empty...... mostly with Reserved signs?!? So we took a small 2 top in between others reluctantly & joined the circus. Very unorganized & lacking staff communication!! Our server, Peri was fabulous & took amazing care of us!! However there was this manic servers high on something running around back & forth like a crazy man. He kept coming to our table duplicating what has already been taken care of, so annoying & disruptive. Why does he work there? Clearly not professional. Doubt that we will go back & it definitely won't be anytime soon!!

A nice quiet place with patio and plenty of parking. The server who greeted and looked after us was simply wonderful. The food is simply okay. They allowed us to bring our own wine in.

Sabatino's is a neighborhood favorite for many years. However, over TBA m the past couple of months, I've seen disappointed in the quality of some of their dishes. Notably, their lasagna. They seem to be using far too much roccata and reducing the meat. It's just not appealing any longer. I'm sorry to say that I am not likely to patronize them in the future.

We were seated at a wobbly table with a hard wooden bench to sit on. Had to ask the waitress twice for a spoon to stir the tea. The waitress never came back to check on us...had to seek her out for a refill. Food was OK....atmosphere below average. Service was poor. Will not be going back. No bang for your buck here.

Hands down the worst chicken marsala I have ever had and I can even make it myself and it tastes better than this. I think they forgot the wine and probably other ingredients in the sauce. Zero flavor. I usually only have pizza here but I've been trying different Italian dishes at different restaurants and I've been hooked on chicken Marcella but not here.

If everything goes well with your order than you will enjoy the food. If anything goes wrong with your order even if it happens multiple times don’t bother telling the owner because she literally couldn't care less if you spend your money at her business. She is unapologetic and incredibly rude. I’ll never be back.

I want to say that I've been to Sabatino's before for takeout, and their food is really tasty. So naturally, was a go-to when I needed to order dinner for our kids and babysitter on a date night. Ubereats confirmed our order and the ETA. 30 minutes past the delivery window, our sitter reached out about the food. Turns our Sabatino's canceled our order without warning, reason, or communication. I've not had a restaurant yet with an issue or question about the order not reach out to discuss. In this case, Ubereats said they just canceled the order without further details. The order was for a cheese pizza and a salad, so nothing bizarre. Pretty unacceptable. We ordered from another pizza place nearby, and salvaged the night though dinner for them was an hour later. To me, this perhaps speaks to some management issues others have noted here. I'll revise this review if I hear back from the restaurant, but we'll be going elsewhere for pizza or Italian until then.

I won't go back Server was curt Bread was hard and hardly warm I had coffee and asked for surgar. Was given 2 pink packets and told they don't have sugar. After insisting they look, I was brought a full container of sugar to readily dispense. The chicken pizza had burnt crust. The lobster ravioli tasted fishy. Nice ambiance, though
