I came here on March 3rd, 2026 to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. This was actually my second time celebrating a birthday here. The first time was two years ago, which I also really enjoyed. Because of that great experience, I decided to come back again this year, especially since Mojave does such a great job accommodating large groups. There were about 13 of us in total, and the staff handled everything so smoothly. Our servers, Erin and Nicole, were absolutely amazing! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone in our group was taken care of throughout the night. I had brought my own cake, along with some tiny edible pearls that I did not have time to put on it beforehand. I asked Erin if it might be possible for them to add the pearls to the cake for me, and they happily agreed! When they brought the cake out, I honestly could not believe how beautiful it looked. The pearls were very small, so I know it probably was very tedious. I was so amazed at how they decorated the cake with the pearls. They made it look absolutely stunning! It was so sweet! I am so grateful for the effort they put into making it special! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the overall experience made my birthday celebration truly memorable! Erin and Nicole, thank you so much for helping make my day so special! I will definitely be back!
Mojave is an excellent place. I felt welcomed. The food was delicious. I recommend the blackened fish. Kudos to your chef, thank you. Elena was very attentive. Josh made me feel welcome. I look forward to visiting Mojave again when I visit @Atlanta.
I had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Mojave Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was enjoyable. The service was also excellent. Our server, Erin, was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. She truly made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
We had such a great time here on our first visit, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice and romantic. It’s a beautiful place from the moment you walk in. loved the entrance, the artwork, the dimmed light and the music. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!
Sat at the bar for brunch and the bottomless mimosas. Joe and Keith were the best bartenders ever. With great recommendations. I was totally in the mood for brunch food but changed based on the recommendations. We had the corn ribs (sauce was excellent and the corn was crispy but also juicy). We split the smash burger quesadillas and each had a single shrimp taco. Chiefs kiss!! Will definitely be back. The atmosphere was cool too (especially bar area on a pretty day).
I had the pleasure of visiting Mojave, where we enjoyed a relaxing evening outdoors near the water spring. The weather was perfect, providing a beautiful setting to take in the views. We savored some delicious food, including ceviche, grilled BBQ wings, and a three-dip nacho platter. The drinks were impressive—both flavorful and strong. The ambiance would make an excellent setting for a date night. We initially sat at the bar, where the staff was exceptional. They even crafted a custom cocktail for us, which was both potent and flavorful. Our waitress provided excellent service as well, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Amazing meal! With incredible ambience. The food was phenomenal. The service was spectacular. We were really impressed by the brunch menu. We’ve been eating here for years for Kay’s service and attention to detail was above average. Our table of 4 has all waited tables before so we appreciate good service. Highly recommend and ask for Kay!
I love this restaurant straight up this is my second time & first time for brunch. Mojave is always a restaurant i can count on for any event. I love the interior and the views. I love the vibes here and although it was rainy today it was so peaceful. We sat in the corner and the rain aesthetic was so beautiful and peaceful. I want one in my future house lol. I always have a wonderful time here ✨
We had a lovely time at this restaurant. This was our 1st time and it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was everything! It's a beautiful restaurant! I loved everything from the entrance to the artwork to the patio! The frogs are very interesting also! I'm glad we only heard them and didn't see any. But it was pretty funny trying to figure out what that sound was!
We had a team dinner at the restaurant, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance (we sat outside) was pleasant. However, if you’re seeking a quieter setting, the restaurant’s interior might be a better choice. The pond near the restaurant is quite noisy due to the frogs.
Subject: Shimp and Grits. Me and sister as always went to one of our favorite restaurants. This day was very different. We ordered the shrimp and grits. Not knowing that menu had changed. When I say missing the mark we are beyond the target. The new dish was horrible. The new dish has smoky cheese with chorizo as sauce. It wasn’t good at all, mind you that the old shrimp and grits had a nice creamy white sauce with andouille sausage, plump shrimp with a grit patty at the bottom of the bowl, which was very, very good but this new dish the cheese look like🤮. Speaking to the manager, no offense, there was a language barrier due to him being Hispanic. We were trying to explain to him that the new dish was not as good as the old dish and he kept telling us that it was the same, which it was not. I will post pictures and you can tell for yourself. He did not try to replace our dish. He gave us half off on our ticket but didn’t offer to make it better by replacing the food. They have lost a good customer.
The property is stunning, the service is 10/10. Our waiter Alex was simply stellar. Whatever training the staff is receiving, it is being done correctly. The food needs a little work. A review of our order is below: Appetizer wings: perfect, well seasoned, nicely charred. Excellent portions. Drinks: first round over iced, second round: under-poured. Salmon entree: spinach and chic peas- PERFECT, Salmon- slightly overcooked. Lamb kebabs: They were ordered in lieu of lamb chops-- which they were out of. The portions were too small and the lamb was over cooked. The rice was colorful but not flavorful. The beans side was immaculate. I would go back and try other items. If not for the food then definitely for the service and ambience.
We went for Valentine’s Day and the whole experience was just a bit… off. Immediately upon walking in, we see the sign that 20% gratuity is automatically added to every bill. Don’t love that. The service did ultimately reflect the fact that she did not have to work for her tip. We didn’t see her a ton, and she lacked any hospitality or personality. When we were seated, there was a table right next to us that was right next to the window with a better view of the water. We asked the hostess if we could sit there, and she said no because all tables have already been preassigned. They then proceeded to sit absolutely nobody else at that window table the entire time we dined. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way. The place was half empty and very quiet for a Saturday at noon. The food was pretty good, but the portions were small for what you pay. It was ultimately just an ok experience. Don’t really have a huge desire to go back.
My best friend lives out here and she’s been here a number of times so since we’re visiting from California, she said we have to come!! We were in luck that they had a reservation available along with a special seasonal menu!! As we walked in, it was gorgeous with a vignette of a garden that outlook a little lake or river that ran around the backside of the restaurant. I kept gazing out the window, hoping to find deer or some sort of wildlife!! Lol. There’s also an upstairs which no one was sitting in, but I could only imagine how beautiful that view would have been! The decor was very elegant and upscale with a modern twist!! My other best friend was able to order an espresso martini with tequila which she was highly excited about because she does not drink vodka. I got a traditional espresso martini with vodka. We ordered the blue corn bread and to our dismay it was rather dry. So we wondered if it was fresh or not. Nevertheless, when we ordered our food, my two best friends got the blue corn waffles and fried chicken and I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict yet I wanted scrambled eggs. I know I know! Scrambled eggs just sounded better for this particular day. Once our food arrived, the waffles seemed dry to both of my friends, and my salmon on my eggs. Benedict was overcooked and dry. Thank goodness, there was avocado and a chipotle aïoli sauce that I could dip into the salmon to juice it up some! My two best friends ended up returning their meals because they couldn’t eat the dry waffles and their replacement food, shrimp and grits, as well as barbecue wings and mac & cheese came rather quickly and they loved those dishes!! We also ordered another round of cocktails that were very equally measured. So the taste was there, yet none of us had a buzz from the drinks. Lol. Perhaps it was the food we ordered, but I was not really impressed. I’m not too sure if I’ll come back here when I visit Atlanta in the spring, but it was definitely a vibe in the restaurant itself.
Was excited to try this place, but do not think we will return. Although they did have a nice view. The portions were scant compared to the price you pay for them, and they charge for EVERYTHING. I mean a refill of chips for $2, come on! Our waiter was saying how they have been slow on business recently, and I can see why. Only a few cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night
Love the vibe here, but the food is just ok and the service is extremely slow. It look us 20mins to get our drinks and another 25 to get our food, despite there being very few other tables. The prices are also a little steep. I would probably go back to have a drink and sit on the patio, but not sure I’d have a meal here again. The one cocktail we got was awesome (Paloma)! I was on the fence about giving this place 3 stars v. 4 stars, but it is probably worth another try.
Went 3 years ago, the food was good. Today, not so much. The host was also a server, the bartender was also a server, the waitress was all over the place because they didn't have enough people working. Husband never received drink but after a long wait he canceled because bartender didn't wear gloves when handling fruit and was seen with hands in his hair several times. When food finally came, it was not tasty. Too bland.
UPDATE: I spoke with the new owner and I believe this experience happen under the old management. He handled this professionally and I greatly respect that. Very much going to give this restaurant another chance. I was almost becoming a regular at this place because ample parking and good for a slow, quiet lunch. I really appreciated some of the wait staff so hence a two star and not one. However the last time I visited, plastic wrap was mixed in with my food. I alerted the waiter and he said a manager would come over. That never happened but my meal (not drink) was taken off the ticket. Very disappointed because they didn’t have the common decency to say sorry or to come over to the table. I could see them standing at the front but never made their way over. Will never visit again and tell all my business contacts to beware!
Mojave has some of the most bland, flavorless, horrible food and margarita I’ve ever tasted. The presentation is beautiful, but everything we ordered was just so God awful and bland. I am beyond embarrassed because I picked this restaurant, but felt obligated to pay the entire check because my guest hated the food more than me. It was literally $130 down the drain. I will say that the decor is cute and the service was great. If you enjoy bland food with no flavor, then you’ll enjoy Mojave.
Deeply Disappointing Experience at Mojave I’ve visited Mojave many times for business lunches and always enjoyed it, but after last night’s experience, I won’t be returning, and I’ll be advising others to avoid it as well. My group of six had a 6pm reservation and arrived on time, excited to celebrate our Galentine's gathering. The hostesses were lovely and welcoming, but unfortunately, the problems started shortly thereafter. Our drinks were either incorrect, missing entirely, or delivered only after we had to ask again. The appetizers were wrong as well. Still, we tried to give the benefit of the doubt and placed our entrée orders. That’s when things went from bad to unbelievable. We waited two full hours without receiving our food. During that time, neither of our servers, one named “Joe” and a young woman, checked on us. No water refills, no updates, no acknowledgment. It felt as though they were actively avoiding our table as we tried to catch their attention. When we finally tracked down “Joe” to ask for an update, he disappeared for several minutes and returned with a vague “little while” answer, adding that the owner would comp the entrées. At that point, after a long week and two hours of waiting, we decided to cancel the order. Especially since it was clear the food hadn’t even been started. What happened next was the most shocking part of the night. When we went to the hostess stand to speak with a manager, “Joe” suddenly appeared and insisted that HE was the manager. Then, to our disbelief, he asked if we “wanted to step outside.” Once outside, he became defensive and belligerent, offering excuses about it not being his "job to cook the food" and having “other duties in the kitchen” that were clearly more important than attending to customers. The lack of professionalism was astounding. To this moment, we’re not even sure if “Joe” was actually his name or if he was truly a manager. What we do know is that the service, communication, and behavior we experienced were completely unacceptable. Mojave has always been a place I recommended. After this visit, I can’t in good conscience do that anymore. What an utterly disappointing night.
So this was an underwhelming experience to say the least. I used to come here on the regular when I worked on this side of town and I loved it. My boyfriend and I came here and it was God awful. The kitchen is slower than pond water which is exactly what the water they serve here tastes like. This place is not what it used to be. The blue cornbread used to be phenomenal what I got tonight tasted awful and were tough and hard on the outside with no flavor. We got here at 8:15 and it is 9:09 and still no food. So I decided to take the time to start writing this review. The menu is completely different other than the street tacos which seem to be similar to what they used to be. No more sea bass, shepherd's pie or any of the good stuff they used to have. I am not sure if they are under new management or a hex was put on this resturaunt because the business is not what it used to be. It's friday night with live music and yet only 5 to 6 tables are occupied at this time. It's a really a beautiful place and it is so unfortunate to see it like it is now. We received the food at 9:15, the medium rare steak requested came out practically well done with little to no red in the pieces in it at all and was very tough and overcooked. Messing up a 34 dollar steak is unacceptable especially seeing as it only comes with one side. My boyfriend left half that steak on the plate. Unfortunately we never got the opportunity to rectify the situation and get the steak cooked the right way. The brisket burrito was pretty good and the street corn tasted okay. We definitely won't be back.
What a difference a year makes… Our server Hanna was AWESOME!!! Our dinner was horrible… Dry chicken Thin stake with what tasted like McDonald fries for $38 Molten lava cake with fresh fruit consisted of 3 blueberries 2 small strawberries cut in half and completely dry no molten lava cake that tasted microwaved and grocery store ice cream. No choice of on the Cobb/off the Cobb street corn, only a small bowl that wasn’t as good as before. The calamari was good The house special drink was OK Taco were ok, needed more flavor/seasoning Use to be lively, especially Friday evenings but not anymore. Use to be our favorite spot, we took some time off from going out and thought we should bring out daughters here to experience why use to be an awesome spot, but we were disappointed.
