Un posto unico nel suo genere. Non eravamo mai stati a mangiare in un posto così particolare. La ragazza che ci ha servito è stata gentilissima e molto cordiale. Buona scelta di menù e ottima carta dei vini. Ottimi piatti, portate abbondanti. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! Abbiamo prenotato una cena in coppia. Che dire: cibo buonissimo e porzioni soddisfacenti, vino ancora di più, ottima rapporto qualità prezzo e personale gentilissimo. Ci hanno accomodato all'interno di un locale veramente curato nei minimi dettagli, e ci hanno anche trovato posto fuori non appena è stato possibile. Molto romantico. Alla fine della cena siamo stati accompagnati per un tour della cantina e del ristorante al piano superiore. Consiglio vivamente di chiedere di vederli entrambi. Sicuramente una tappa obbligatoria se sì passa da Monforte d'Alba, ma venire apposta per provare questa perla sarebbe anche più che giustificato.

Impossibile dimenticare il weekend appena trascorso in questa struttura! Locale con un'atmosfera unica, un perfetto mix tra pietre, legno, luci e vetro! Nonostante avessimo avuto un buono regalo, ci è stata riservata una corsia preferenziale. Il signor Giulio ci ha fatto scegliere la camera (nb. Quella degli amanti è semplicemente favolosa). Ci è stato riservato un tavolo per la cena con vista spettacolare su tutto il locale. E soprattutto ci hanno riservato un trattamento sul piano umano encomiabile! Il cibo non poteva che essere sublime, compresa la colazione della domenica mattina. Super super super !

Struttura incredibile ricavata all'interno di antiche case medioevali, dove é possibile sia pernottare che cenare. La cena, di altissimo livello con prodotti della zona di eccellenza. Insomma, da tornarci assolutamente. Bravi!!

Ristorante caratteristico di grande impatto. Dall'esterno non riusciresti a capire cosa ti aspetta. Struttura veramente interessante e molto particolare con luce soffusa e tavoli ben appartati disposti su più livelli salendo da una scala a chiocciola. Servizio curato e nei tempi previsti. Necessario prenotare. Consiglio vivamente di farci visita. L'unica pecca è il parcheggio, pochi posti auto.

Esperienza ottima. Location bellissima. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Personale giovane e molto gentile. Amplierei leggermente la carta dei dolci. La costata con le patate è buonissima. Super consigliato. Noi erano nel tavolo 41 che è perfetto per chi vuole stare più “appartato”.

What an incredible and unique hotel. We stayed for a week, visiting the wineries and sites of the Lange region. This hotel is ancient and full of surprises. There are hidden coves and nooks at every corner. This is a family owned business so the service level is excellent and very personal. Each room is stocked daily with coffee, water, soda and light snacks. Breakfast is scheduled around your needs and includes meats, cheeses, breads, coffee, tea and juice. The attached restaurant is absolutely stunning. The food is upscale and very delicious...be sure to ask for a table on a high floor. They also have a nice bar with cocktails, wine and beer. There are lots of other restaurants and bars in the area and it is within 15 minutes of Barolo. I highly recommend this hotel!!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. My boyfriend and I came for dinner and what we left with was a culinary and architectural experience we won’t be sure to forget. The service and knowledge of the wine and food was great and we were welcomed at every stage. We even got a chance to explore their wine caves which were unforgettable. We will for sure come back and would highly suggest this place if it’s for a casual drink or a dinner or anything in between. The place itself it’s so well developed and is like walking into something you’d see in a magazine. Bravo to the staff and thank you again for this experience!

Excellent restaurant led by Giulio, a local well known wine specialist. A good place to try the wines of this region accompanied by suitable dishes. The wine cellar is a separate miracle! Thanks for the advice with wineries and Barolo Chinato.

I had only just started my dinner and already knew this place was special: had the rabbit paté, which went beautifully with the jam and Marsala. The finanziera was also a surprising delight - unexpected and delicious and creamy. The star, however, certainly was the ribeye on the bone of local veal, which had been perfectly cooked. To boot, service was great and helpful and always there when needed. Would recommend without hesitation!

The food is incredible and situated in a completely gutted and renovated medieval building in Monforte d’Alba. This was clearly a favorite with international/tourist clientele but don’t let that dissuade you. The food was amazing. I highly suggested the roasted pork roast that was flavorful and hearty! For those traveling here by car however, note that parking is super difficult because it’s in the heart of the medieval town and within a ZTL. Since it was late at night we probably parked in a not so legal spot, but the restauranteur said they were building parking (we saw the construction site) that is about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. Folks that have a hard time walking might have an issue getting to the spot. But everyone else should put this in the list. We asked our server for an opinion of a certain wine she said “One moment, I will ask”. When she came back, she said “Papá said this one is the best”. Papa, her dad! So charming. It was our favorite restaurant in all of the Langhe area. Because it’s a small mom and pop shop, they don’t do a lot of advertising and it was a suggestion of our hotel concierge and thank goodness they did. We never would’ve come across it otherwise. I can not recommend this place more. A true value of money for rooms and for the restaurant. Super helpful and friendly staff. They give good recommendations, that you'd better cosider. The food in the restaurant is amazing, remember to book in advance! One night we ate in another restaurant, we paid Eur118 and we did not enjoy the food at all. We came back to Saracca same night to eat and they were so kind to let us order although it was late and they were fully booked. I believe the place is unique and the service is beyond a guesthouse.

This place was a unique experience! We had a room for 2 days. I felt like being at an old museum, while walking to the top floor room. The super nice owner let us choose between 2 rooms, both unique in its own style. The room was big, nice and clean, with a great bed. Amazing breakfast and the staff made us feel very welcome. We also got great reccomendations of the area. We ate dinner 2 days, which both was the best dinners we had so far in Italy. Wine list was amazing, and fairly priced. We also highly reccomend to ask for a tour in the wine cellar.

Lovely place to visit! James Bond like wine cellar with secret doors and amazing architecture and wines. Lovely family owned business with lots of love for products and experiences. One of the best places I have visited thus far in the Piëmont region. Will definitely return to this amaze spot.

Recommended by a epicurean local and our guide book, we had supper in this amazing restaurant. The architectural details are quite unique. The wine list is enormous - options by the glass is also available if you need to drive. The food very tasty. The price fair. The only thing that could have improved our experience is the service. It was cold and rushed.

Such an incredible hotel. Our first time in the area. Full of history in a very charming architectural exclusive hotel with (6 gorgeous rooms) We had such a wonderful time. The owner Giulio is a kind, fun loving and very generous person. Le Case della Saracca is amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. It is a beautiful spot, the rooms are so unique. The owner is very kind, as is the whole staff. It is also a great place to explore Piedmont from. The town itself is quiet but beautiful. We also had dinner at the restaurant twice! Everything was delicious. We can’t wait to come back.

You HAVE to stay here, cannot stress this enough. The place is amazing. The hotel is carved into the side of a mountain. The owner Giulio is the best. They accommodated a group of 10 of us and a dog for 2 nights. We had dinner reservations at the restaurant the first night and it was some of the best Italian food I've had in all of Italy! I'm kind of upset that we didn't eat there both nights. They have an apertivo in the evenings and if you're really nice to the owner he'll show you his incredible wine cellar. The steps walking into the side of the hotel are a bit rough so I would not recommend stiletto heels. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is one of a kind. We are definitely coming back and introducing all of our friends to this amazing experience.

Location molto bella e particolare . Sulla qualità del cibo ci aspettavamo di più , ma nel complesso accettabile. Lo stinco molto buono.

Locale da visitare assolutamente...scale in pietra e legno ,passatoie in vetro e cavi di acciaio.. una location davvero particolare, curata nei dettagli, tavoli intimi poiché i posti a sedere si districano tra scalette e passatoie creando angoli davvero romantici. Sono presenti posti all aperto e salette interne più adatte a accogliere più persone ma merita una visita la parte della torre. Antipasti super carpaccio /tartare /vitello tonnato Stinco si poteva fare più morbido😉 Personale gentile sorridente, giovane e disponibile..essendo su più livelli e abbastanza ampio bisogna avere un po' di pazienza se si ha bisogno di qualcosa perché i camerieri non sono sempre a vista ma il bello della riservatezza che crea questo posto è anche questo. Bagno stupendo . Prezzo onesto. Ottima Cantina vini!! Ci ritorneremo e lo consiglieremo!

Un posto davvero unico nel suo genere che consiglio vivamente di provare a cena per godere appieno dell'atmosfera romantica e suggestiva. Do 4 stelle per i tempi di attesa tra comanda e cucina davvero molto lunghi (arrivati alle 20.45 abbiamo iniziato a mangiare alle 22). A parte questo inconveniente il posto vale sicuramente una visita. Consiglio l'antipasto misto piemontese che permette di assaggiare in un unico piatto diverse specialità tipiche delle Langhe: vitello tonnato, battuta di fassona, peperoni con bagna cauda. Ottimi i ravioli del plin e la selvaggina. Mio marito ha preso il cervo con funghi porcini e la carne si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Ampia carta dei vini, con tante proposte del territorio tra cui scegliere. Noi abbiamo preso un Nebbiolo d'alba che consiglio come abbinamento alla carne. 2 antipasti, un primo, un secondo,una bottiglia di vino e acqua 89 euro in due. Il coperto è incluso nel prezzo dei piatti... Fateci un pensierino se avete in mente di venire nelle langhe e soprattutto prenotate con largo anticipo.... io ho chiamato circa 1 mese prima per avere un tavolo per due. Possibilità anche di pernottamento

Locale veramente unico che si sviluppa in verticale, bellissimo. L’atmosfera é da ristorante di alto livello in cui parlare sottovoce. Il cibo purtroppo molto deludente, sia primi (gnocchetti al formaggio affogati nell’olio) che secondi (rolle di coniglio poco saporito e misero nelle quantità)

The best about this restaurant is the design of the interior. A huge wine storage is nicely integrated into the old building with extensive use of glass walls. The food is plain and good but not spectacular in any way. Fantastic selection of wine is available. The staff was friendly but seemed very busy, and the atmosphere was quite hectic.

Una vergogna, le due sorelle cameriere maleducatissime! Non abbiamo mangiato lì ma una cameriera comunque mi ha consentito di usufruire del bagno prima di ordinare in poichè sono incinta. le due sorelle invece, con maniera molto sgarbata, mi hanno detto che il bagno era riservato solo ai clienti. avevamo intenzione di consumare ma abbiamo cambiato idea! Purtroppo mi sarebbe piaciuto provare questo splendido locale ma non ci è stata data la possibilità. Siamo passati 20 minuti prima dell’apertura e ci è stato chiesto di tornare alle 18:30 (orario di apertura) nonostante dentro ci fosse già della gente (sembrerebbe amici del proprietario). Una volta tornati alle 18:35 ci hanno comunicato che non avremmo potuto sederci perché il locale era tutto prenotato per cena… a voi le conclusioni

Bellissima location, molto bello e particolare l’interno quindi merita la pena venirci. Gli unici problemi sono stati che dopo aver prenotato una settimana prima siamo arrivati e il nostro tavolo era già occupato da altri che dovevano finire di mangiare. Quindi dopo 15 minuti di attesa ci hanno messo a mangiare in un altro tavolo in un angolo e non dove saremmo dovuti stare! Peccato…
