Great spot for authentic mexican food! We both got combos and had to get the extra quac on the side. Sooo good. The whole restaurant was a great experience from beautiful decor and friendly employees.

I don’t understand how I’ve been the only person in here every time I come. I travel for work, try a lot of restaurants, and nothing has compared to Jalisco. By far the best margarita I’ve ever had. The food, exceptional. The service, so friendly. And the atmosphere just wisps you away. I didn’t think I’d find authentic Mexican cuisine in Monroe, New York. If you’re in the area and need an escape, look no further!

Such friendly staff and even better food! I tried the molcajete and it was a dish abundant with flavor and a variety of meats (which were so good.) The fresh juices and the margaritas are extremely tasty and refreshing! Not only is the food so delicious but the environment is refreshing and captivating. I will definitely be coming back and telling people about this hidden gem!

Had a great dinner here! Our party was rowdy (2 adults, 3 kids), but the service was impeccable. Our waiter was a gem and even made conversation with the oldest (7), which was lovely. The food was SO GOOD, and the portions were plentiful. I got an enchilada plate and wound up bringing 2 whole enchiladas back to the hotel because I could not finish them. The kids' meals came with 3 mini quesadillas. There was no wait to get a table, either. I'm only in town for a short time, but if I could squeeze another visit in to this place, I would. It's that great!

My colleague and I went to dinner here last night, and we both LOVED it! Everything from the loaded nacho's appetizers to their combo platters to their margaritas were absolutely incredible! The margaritas were so good, we couldn't stop ordering them (which was getting a little dangerous ha!). They had a great promo deal ($30 worth of food for $15) and half priced margaritas, so it was so much food and drink for the price. Such a great deal. Both of us were very impressed, and we will be coming back!

We have come here several times for different occasions. We have come for a quick lunch, family dinner (family of 6), date night, and for a celebratory event (20 people). Consistently the food has been excellent, as well as the service. The food has been hot and we'll seasoned. We often have ordered dinner dishes and the molcajete has become a favorite. The portions are generous and reflect their price. Their sangria is good as well as their patron margaritas. I have recommended this restaurant to many people. My only feedback would be having warm chips with the salsa for the table instead of room temp. I will also say the slew of random 1 star reviews that all appeared on the same day is odd. I definitely have not had a one star experience in the several times i have been there.

Nice place. Food was tasty. Our server was great, the music was nice. I would return as the menu options are decently priced and the portions are just right. The guacamole was fresh and my favorite part.

We have found that the entrees are pretty good but the combos seem to be a little less fresh tasting- for example the tamales were a little dense and overall too much cheese on top. We love the mole (omg amazing). and pork chop dinners and salsa is fresh and delicious. The rice is light and fluffy! So good. The service is a hit or miss but never terrible. There’s a lot of delicious Mexican and Latin restaurants in Monroe now but we keep them on our list!

I love supporting family-owned businesses rather than chain establishments. With that said I won't be going back. I ordered take out, small order. Although I can speak some Spanish, the girl that took my order didn't understand a word of English. No big deal until you have to order. I used the Spanish I did know and I thought everything was okay. But it wasn't. I was charged almost 100 dollars for a sandwich. When I drove back for a refund a man from the back came out and pointed to my receipt asking if I wanted to leave a tip for take out and he would fix it. That is all...

Plus the shredded beef had a bad aftertaste and I didn’t even finish more them 3 bites of my burrito and it still caused me to violently throw up and more for two days. Would absolutely not recommend.

When our waitress came to take our drink order, we ordered a bucket/pitcher of beers, but she literally brought us a single beer. We tried to explain that we ordered a pitcher but she just stared at us very blankly then walked away. When we got our food, I noticed that there was a HAIR in mine. Gross. I asked for a new plate. Our server sighed and seemed very annoyed. She took it away, then brought me another plate, but the food was stone cold. Overall the food tasted alright, but nothing about this restaurant is pleasant or remarkable. You can get better food and service at Tulcingo. I'd only recommend this restaurant if you enjoy the flavor of hair in your beans.
