Dametra Fresh Mediterranean

I came with my husband and son and daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons. I wasn't sure about mediterranean food. I am a very picky eater. I was so happy and satisfied. Everything was so fresh and DELICIOUS! Our party enjoyed all the standard dishes and some specialty items as well: Tzatziki and Hummus, served with warm, fluffy pita for dipping. Falafel, Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kabob, Ultimate Vegan Delight. All of the sauces were so tasty too. My husband loved the Morrocan Mint Tea. The best for me was the Baklava--flaky and rich with nuts and honey and a hint of rose mmmmmmmmmmm All of the staff were for friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and fresh and bright. Five stars, easily. I have a new favorite on my list - we'll be back! I wish I would have taken more photos.

The food was great. Since we weren't sure what kind of meat, the staff gave us two samples. The food had flavor, the sauces added an additional pinch of satisfaction. It wasn't expensive. Highly recommended.

I always have the best service. EVERYONE that works there is so kind upbeat and they really do make their food with love. You can taste it. I absolutely love this place. It's like chipotle but Mediterranean! Great food. Great service! We got a take out and it was quick. The place is clean and it's the first ground in the mall area. Parking was easy as well, but we also went there around 1930, not sure during the day.

Highly recommended. After being repeatedly ignored by those snobs at the Cal. Pizza Kitchen, I stumbled onto this little place and was so glad for my new discovery. Yes, the food is premade and might have sat a while, but the quality is still good. I ordered the lamb with the rice, grape rolls, and spinach pie. Oh my, that pie was good! Lamb was a bit dry but next time if I come early enough, it should be much better. Really good value for money.

My husband and I had dinner here before a movie, just wanting to grab something quick, and came out as fans! The food is delicious and fresh, as well as being well-priced considering the generous servings. I was also really impressed with the staff who were incredibly helpful and nice. Definitely a new favorite place for Mediterranean food!

Food ingredients were as good as their marina location, but the wrap I received wasn't. Ingredients in the middle not spread out, the wrap was extra full in the middle resulting in the wrap splitting. Had to keep it falling apart while eating. Service wasn't particularly bad, but was much friendlier and more thorough at marina location. My wife's wrap was much better looking but she liked chicken better in marina.

Our original plan was to stop somewhere in Carmel for lunch, but ended up having to keep going when we couldn't find a parking spot. By the time we reached this place my blood sugar was crashing hard and I was starting to feel sick and light headed. So thank goodness we ended up here. The food was great and there was no wait. I was able to shovel desperately needed hot Greek food into my face less than 10 minutes after we walked in. The chicken and hummus were particularly good.

Chicken shawarma and the lamb/beef gyro (especially the lamb!) were delicious—everything seasoned well (especially the tzatziki), and the falafels were a beautiful texture. The real star of this review though was the gentleman who helped us: Richard (the one working the night of this review). He was very kind as he walked us through all the offerings. I always appreciate a member of any team that not only knows their product but is also happy to describe them and perhaps even boast about them. Thank you!

We came here to try the food since they offer catering services. I'll just say my fiance and I plan on having them cater our wedding. Very generous portions and overall solid food. We tried all the sauces and they were spot on. The Gyro was massive to say the least and the chicken shawarma was incredibly tender and loaded with flavor. The person who made my wrap knew that I couldn't decide what to put in the wrap so she decided for me. Despite her choosing for me, she still checked in with me making sure that I could handle certain ingredients. The wrap was great and you can tell how fresh the ingredients were. Though when I opened the foil my wrap was stuck to it and it got ripped open. My lil sister loved her platter as this was her first time trying out this place. The place is rather small so not much indoor seating if you come with a group bigger than four since there was only two tables to fit groups of four. It was a clean and tidy atmosphere that was welcoming as you walked in the door.

It was good. Portions were average. The girls working looked like they were being forced to work and were quite annoyed by anything I asked or said. That sucked. But food was ok. I really appreciate good customer service though. The guy at the register was nice. We got the chicken Kabob, which was flavored well and not too overcooked. The gyro was very good.

I used to love coming here to eat because of how big the wraps were and the reasonable pricing for the fresh food. Recently I question why I even go here anymore. They have raised their prices significantly and now added extra pricing for additional add ons to the wraps. What’s even worse is that a lot of the workers barely add enough toppings into the wraps to make it even worth the price increase. The wraps used to be huge and always left me full but now their so small and don’t justify the price increase at all. At least they still taste good but not worth the price increase at all.

I don’t know why I got a bunch of old chicken with a bunch of liquid all over my rice. Not going to come back here. The falafel was old and dry. I feel like they didn’t want to make more chicken so they just gave me scraps

I hate leaving bad reviews but the quality of the food is not what it used to be, second time I stop by and they give me overcooked gyro meat to the point where it’s crispy…. It literally felt like I was biting into croutons… the hummus did not taste good like it usually does… very disappointing, should have spent my $30 elsewhere. perhaps they were short-staffed, I only saw 1 person working counter and an older man taking out the trash… Next time I’ll just drive to the Marina location instead.

Should have read the reviews - visiting the area and was feeling like Mediterranean, and wanted kabobs so thought id stop in. Chipotle would have been a better choice - got 2 chicken kabobs (was starving) only to find that the meat was so dry - this is def not "luna grill" or anything - these kabobs were terrible (overcooked?) - $28 for 2 dry kabobs with no real flavor. Heck even a costco or even ralphs rotisserie chicken leftovers would be more moist and flavorful than this - sadly cant recommend this place - who knows how long those kabobs were sitting there, chicken cubes so dry had to drink lot of fluids to make it palatable even the garlic aoli (sp) sauce didn't help. staff was friendly but food no good .... if i didnt spend so much on this would have jus tossed it.. the only thing that was half decent was the salad. :( bummed.... try dining elsewhere..

Very disappointed with the chicken shawarma, the rice is supposed to be a basmati type and looks like the rice was Mexican, hummus isn’t good, overall not satisfied. I selected this place due to reviews.

Do not get their Turkish coffee. They serve literal boiling water in a paper cup on a lid that does not secure down. More pushy people than me would sue.

If you have taste buds then this isnt the place for you! This is some of the most bland and disgusting food we’ve ever eaten. We didn’t receive 3 sauces that we ordered and the sauce we did get was the incorrect one. Genuinely this was horrible all around. When the food was picked up by my husband not a word was spoken to him by the staff. Please don’t go here unless you enjoy wasting money and not having any flavor in your food.
