Came in late night. I have not been to Denny's in years. It was quiet, not busy at all. We were seated right away. The server was cool. Very laid back. I ordered the French toast. It was so very good. Very cinnamonny. I also ordered a hot chocolate. Just right!! The atmosphere was cool. There were about 2 drifters inside, but they were quiet and kept to themselves. One was sleeping. I mean, it's Denny's. IYKYK. I may go back again.

My experience at the Denny’s on Monterey at 300 Fremont St. was nothing short of exceptional. The first thing I noticed was how clean and well-kept the entire restaurant was. It’s clear that this team takes pride in maintaining a pristine environment for their guests. The service here is absolutely outstanding. The team works together seamlessly, always attentive without being intrusive. Whether it was checking on drink refills, offering recommendations, or delivering meals promptly, every staff member I interacted with was warm, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Their professionalism makes the dining experience feel effortless and relaxing. The continued hospitality from the manager is another major highlight. You can tell that their leadership sets the tone for the entire restaurant. They consistently make an effort to check in with guests, make sure everyone is satisfied, and create an atmosphere where people feel truly valued. That kind of commitment is rare and deeply appreciated. And of course, the food was incredible. The crepes were honestly the best I’ve had outside of France—light, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious with every bite. To top it all off, this location also offers KEF seven days a week from 4pm–10pm, making it an even better spot for families. With exceptional food, top-tier service, and impeccable management, this Denny’s is easily one of the best in the area.

Wow what an experience I was so hungry this was the right place to come I didn't want the usual bacon and eggs. So my waitress Olivia suggest the Lumberjack slam, what a meal ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast and pancakes, YUM! Although I wasn't interested in the pancakes, so Olivia suggested to up my pancakes to French Toast. I didn't know you could this, it was a little extra money but that was fine with me, it was worth it. My meal was the best ever. Thank you Oliva for this exceptional service I will be back for sure.

I had such a great experience at Denny’s thanks to Maria! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. She was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at the right time to make sure I had everything I needed. My food came out quickly and exactly as I ordered, and Maria went above and beyond to make sure my coffee was always hot and topped off.

Stopped in for a smoothie and a shake yesterday and had excellent service from Maria! This Denny’s was clean and inviting. Highly recommended and ask for Maria to make you a Oreo shake, it was amazing!

Restaurant was nice and clean. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The Santa Fe skillet I ordered was mediocre and filled with grease. Not enough potatoes to balance the savory from the chorizo. I want to give it a 5 star for the service provided by the GM, the waitress Maria not so good. She was rude and unfriendly. I told her if she could exchange some waffles because I am diabetic and they sprinkle them with powdered sugar, she ended up saying well its your fault for not telling me.. I said I was unawared they serve them like this since its my first time here. But the GM was able to make it right. Hes the real help and knows how to serve and understand people.

I had ordered something small to start off with and when they came for empty dish, i said i would be ready to get my other item in about 10 mins or less. I waited over 30 mins for someone to even come to my table and i told him i had been waiting and wanted to order something else and he said, "its ok" then walked away and didnt come back. 10 mins later and im having to flag the other guy down so i can finally order. 40+ minutes just tor order one more item. The service here is terrible. They dont even care that you waited forever. There needs to be better management. When i worked at Denny's my managers would never have allowed us to treat customers that way.

The waiter kept getting things wrong. To begin with he didn't bring us our drinks. We wanted seasoned fries as a substitute but he brought regular fries and then tried to charge us for the extra seasoned fries he brought to us. My biscuit and gravy did not have enough gravy which made it dry. My girlfriend's omelette didn't have bacon on it but the picture showed it with bacon. And all the food was just on the plate nothing special

One of my daughters was dining this evening with her classmates. I asked her to order a big nachos. When she arrived t home with the food, we were sad to see how little there was and not all the ingredients. While we mixed the food around hoping to see the rest of the ingredients in the bottom; our surprise was even devastating. We found a huge napkin within the food. I have called the store four times; the first two people told me to wait but the call dropped every time. I requested to speak with a manager but nothing! This is extremely disgusting and unsanitary. Our stomachs are hurting (unfortunately we took a couple of bites before we found the napkin. Honestly, our serving looks like it was made of leftovers from other customers! I wanted to post a video of my serving but it looks like this website won’t allow me!
