Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. My wife and I had dinner here around 7pm on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. We stopped by the bar and had an old fashioned and Chardonnay. We filled our reservation and ordered two appetizers and two main dishes. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the attention to detail was phenomenal! It was delicious. The aged ribeye was to die for and the garlic aioli was to live for. Don't miss out. The whole staff is amazing and the food is excellent 👌🏻

We had an amazing experience for my girlfriend’s birthday! The food was incredible and the service was fantastic! Liz was our server and she took amazing care of us. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We will ask to be sat with her again next time! Thank you Liz and the rest of the team!

This restaurant was fantastic! . The food as my waiter laughingly put is not good, it’s all excellent. He was right. Everything we had was delicious. My husband had the Lobster and Shrimp Linguini, and I had the Salmon Meunière. Their seafood was perfectly cooked and mouthwateringly succulent. The cocktails were great, as was the appetizer: we had the Flambéed Brie, and the lemon cheesecake with berry compote. Highly recommend.

10/10 for dining experience and food, this will be our second time going and our waitress Victoria hopefully that’s her name she was so sweet, the absolute best !!!! Everything was tender and cooked to perfection. Mussels Normandy, Salmon Meunière with roasted broccolini, and Cheerwine Braised short rib and banana foster 10/10 I had the mai untai mocktail with strawberry juice instead of pineapple, if you don’t like to drink and looking for something sweet that’s the one for you 10/10 The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable and enough space for anyone and great vibes. 10/10 Excellent service , definitely will be going back for a third time 10/10 For fine dining great prices. 10/10

I came hungry. I left emotional. The service was incredible... our waiters were fabulous, full of personality, and made the whole experience feel fun and relaxed. Then Chef Steve Jordan came to our table, which instantly tells you how much care goes into this place. Now the food… listen. Everything was amazingggg, and made from scratch!!! But the shrimp and grits? I am not exaggerating when I say it brought tears to my eyes. I had to pause, regroup, and respect the moment. 🤣 And the French onion soup deserves its own moment. I would order again even if it was 95 degrees outside. Honestly unforgettable. We left full, happy, and already planning our return. Unreal. 10 stars.

First time visiting this restaurant. I can’t believe we didn’t hear about it before. The food and service are top. Our waitress, Lauren, was phenomenal, we felt like she was a long time friend. Very attentive and offered great suggestions. We will be back for sure! 愿上帝保佑你

This was my second visit, and it’s clear this restaurant is consistently outstanding. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive from start to finish. Everything on the menu is crafted in-house with incredible care and attention to detail. Our server, Zach, was excellent — he offered thoughtful recommendations and knew the menu inside and out. We started with their signature complimentary biscuits, paired with a peach-flavored butter that was a delightful surprise. For appetizers, we had the seared tuna sushi, which was flawless, and a bowl of French onion soup, slow-cooked for three days with their house-made bone broth — absolutely rich and flavorful. For entrées, my boyfriend chose the lobster pasta while I ordered the filet — hands down the best I’ve ever had. We paired dinner with a bottle of wine and ended the night with their apple crumble, served with house-made caramel sauce and ice cream. For a special date night, our total was just under $200, and it was worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back.

Great brunch options and modifications for gluten free customers! They even have GF crackers for appetizers. They daily special, a filet Benedict was outstanding even with the GF modification.

Cute restaurant by the golf course. Server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The halibut special was fabulous - well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. The brie & salmon apps were beautifully presented and amazing. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

What a gem of a restaurant, and it’s only five minutes away from my doorstep! Three friends and I enjoyed a fabulous brunch yesterday at On the Nines. Three of us were celebrating birthdays, so we let out a few stops. We shared a crab, shrimp, and fried green tomato appetizer, which was superb. Each of us ordered a different entree and all were a feast for the eye. I ordered a beet, arugula and goat cheese salad topped with a grilled salmon fillet. Outstanding! Our server, Diego, provided a wealth of information and suggestions. I asked that my salmon be medium rare and it was perfect. I’m usually too full to eat a dessert, although I love them! Diego suggested two desserts that the four of us shared and they were incredible. It’s a pretty restaurant with a great vibe, excellent food, and top-notch service. What more could you ask for?

This restaurant is amazing! Absolutely love the food and the service is fantastic. I’m pretty picky when it comes to quality of food and this is pristine. They give you biscuits with raspberry butter to start. I highly recommend the deviled eggs for a starter. We had the pimento steak and the crab and lobster cakes with a side of truffle fries. It was delicious.

4 of us had great experience at Nines. They take virus seriously. Reservations required to control crowd. No walk-ins allowed. Must wear a mask in or moving about. Servers are masked. Social distancing is maintained, and disposable menus are used. Tables and booths throughly wiped down. Food and service are just outstanding. Salmon on Caesar salad to die for. Quality of staff/service outstanding. Thanks for a great job in food, service, and making a safe environment for all. Another great y experience for 8 of us. Great food, service, and selections. Staff is very attentive, from hostess to bar to table servers. GM came around to check on our experience. I had cool French onion soap, and they exchange for a new, very hot, and tasty one. A must stop in place. 3-24 Monthly men's group had a very enjoyable experience. Three of us started in the bar with a round of drinks. They have a reasonably good selection of wine, scotch, and bourbon. Added a nice selection of craft beers. Moved to our table where our server took excellent care of us, shared the specials, answered our questions, and got us on our desire for a slow, relaxing night. Our very enjoyable selections included meat loaf, shrimp 🍤 and grits, and I had French onion soup with a side of fried oysters. Came at 6 left at 9 and On the Nines Bistro provided a very good experience for all.

I’ve been here around 5x now. Always great. It’s not a big menu which can be nice for some, but I’ve kind of eaten everything I can eat. So I’d recommend adding some new menu items :) I’m so bummed they got rid of the best dessert which was their bread pudding. I literally looked forward to it! Plus you can do so many things with bread pudding. Seasonal flavors etc. The butternut squash gnocchi was no longer there either which I was surprised because it’s in season right now. PLEASE bring back the bread pudding! My mom and stepdad came to visit June 15th 2023 which was also my mom’s bday & I took them here and wow! They really go above and beyond here. Always a great experience. I’ve been for my own bday as well. Love the biscuits and butter they bring out. It’s the chefs family recipe. Great people here and great food! I got the fried chicken this time and omg it was so good. Then dessert was strawberries in gran marnier cooked over a flame then over pound cake. Every dish I’ve had here has been really good!

I had dinner on Feb 17th at On the Nines, situated on a golf course in Mooresville. The place was bustling with activity, but thanks to my reservations, I didn't have to wait long - maybe three minutes at most. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and their wine and cocktail selection was impressive too. Every bite tonight was a delight, from their deviled eggs to their mac & cheese, lobster mashed potatoes, and salmon - all perfectly made. It's definitely a spot worth checking out if you find yourself in the area!

Great decor and atmosphere. Some of the greatest service as well. We did a small birthday dinner and was accommodated immensely by the staff. Ashley was amazing! I ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta and the shrimp was actually some of the freshest I've tasted! And large! I come from the seafood industry so I know my seafood. We also had the gnocchi which was also incredible. The bread pudding was to die for thank you!

First time my husband and I were treated & fed like royalty❤️ This was our first visit to On The Nines Bistro, Friday, January 27th. We enjoyed the baby beet & arugula salad then the salmon meuniere/lobster mashed potatoes. Presentation of all plates were beautiful and everything tasted AMAZING. Kearston took exception care of us. She was so attentive and kind. Restaurant managers also checked on us and other nearby tables making sure everyone was well cared for. To top it all off…. Chef Steve prepared a flaming extraordinary desert, table side. See video pictures attached 🎉 Superb 5 star restaurant in Mooresville. Why drive to Charlotte when we have On the Nines Bistro in our backyard? Thank you to all the staff that made our evening out a Culinary Exceptional Experience. We are looking forward to our next meal at this beautiful restaurant.

Great menu selection, efficient service and a very nice atmosphere that still provides a fun experience. Menu is a bit pricey, but worth it. Went on Valentines day and had a nice time. Specialty drinks were especially good.

We had our business Christmas dinner there last night. Everything was fantastic with the exception of our patio room being chilly in places. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

My wife and I came here for her birthday. The food was delicious. My wife and ordered the French toast to share which was incredible. With the pineapple compote which paired surprisingly well it did tend to be quite sweet. She got the eggs Benedict which she loved, along with two different mimosas where she said the lemon grapefruit was very refreshing. Potatoes were cooked perfectly but quite under seasoned for our liking I got the Nashville hot chicken and waffle which was good but was really just fried chicken with hot sauce. Bacon was really good, Overall we were really impressed for our first time and will be back. Good brunch is hard to find especially this far north of Charlotte and this delivered. Food ratings French toast 9.7 Eggs Benedict 9.5 Chicken and waffles 6.3 Home fries: cook 10, flavor 3 Berry mimosa 6 Lemon grapefruit mimosa 8 Table biscuits 8.1

Our first time here, gotta say was one of the greatest places we’ve been in NC, great food, outstanding service by Victoria, this is a great example on how a well managed establishment can bring a good experience to its patrons, look forward to our next visit, keep up the great work!!!

Food was phenomenal and service was equally as great! Steve Jordan executive chef, keep up the great work! We were lucky enough to have Ashley as our server and will certainly be asking for her again when we stop in next. 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I went for the first time for dinner for our 20th anniversary after hearing that the food was terrific. The food was excellent, the staff was very well trained, attentive and friendly. I had noted in the reservation that it was our 20th anniversary and they gave us a card, the manager came to chat with us and an offer of champagne or dessert. Very nice touches. I would highly recommend this restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were way more dressed up than a lot of people, sure wish people would dress up more when going somewhere nice!

We have gone to On the Nines twice now. It’s consistently good with some variations in the menu each time. The bread comes with a uniquely flavored butter of the day. The food is delicious. The service is good. Parking is ample

First time here and it happened to be for Easter Brunch. I've been wanting to try this place for over a year so why not when is in town for the holiday. It was a great experience and the buffet did not disappoint. Some of my favorites were the prime rib, fried chicken, cheesy grits and the orzo salad. We were a group of 8 and everyone had nothing but positive comments on the food and the service. Looking forward to coming back and trying the regular menu. The server shared a great tip, the kids chicken fingers are made the same way the brunch chicken is.

I came out to celebrate my birthday. It was the first time eating here. I have to say, I was impressed. They left a birthday card on the table when we sat down. Justin, our waiter was excellent! The food was amazing as well. I even said “you can tell this food is made with love”. I enjoyed the made from scratch, fresh food. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back!

Sarah and Sammy were amazing hosts. We got the pot roast hash which was excellent. The pot roast was cooked to perfection. We also got the bistro burger which was superb and lastly the shrimp and grits. Again, it was great. The special was a pecan cinnamon roll with strawberry icing and they were to die for. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. Our servers provided first rate service. We definitely plan to come back to experience dinner.

Had an excellent first-time experience at On the Nines Bistro for brunch! Saw the great reviews on Google and decided to give it a try. The service was superb - special shoutout to Sammy & Sarah. They took care of us exceptionally well, and their service is one of the main reasons we will return in future. The food is our second reason for wanting to come back - a wonderful explosion of flavors just asking to be savored. We started with the cinnamon roll special and it was divine. Following that, the biscuits with the seasonal butter was awesome. For our main courses, we got the bistro burger, shrimp and grits, and the pot roast hash. All were very well done. We especially enjoyed the hash, the burger, and the truffle fries. The portion sizes are large, so don’t be surprised when you leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is very family friendly, but still beautiful with an “upscale” vibe. Again, we really enjoyed brunch here, but we look forward to returning for an encore and also trying dinner.

A group of fellow influencers and I attended a six-day retreat on Lake Norman, and we kicked off our first evening with a beautiful dinner at On the Nines. The entire experience was so special—the food was flavorful and artfully plated, the ambiance was intimate and elegant, and the service was incredibly warm and attentive. It was the perfect setting to gather, connect, and set the tone for a powerful and inspiring week ahead.

My son and I go there often. We absolutely love the shrimp and lobster linguine. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We always have Deago. He is the best waiter. He’s kind and funny. He’s one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. I was a waitress & bartender most of my life. So I am very picky about who is waiting on us.

M
Maryssa Rothwell

I cannot recommend this place more! The food is absolutely phenomenal and the service is fantastic! My husband and I had dinner here last night and our server, Sammy, was one of the best servers we’ve ever had! He was personable, attentive and gave us the best recommendations!

I use to own a fine dining restaurant in Blowing Rock…have lived down here since 2012 in Troutman…not once in our exploring have we found anything like this special spot around here. I can’t say enough…atmosphere, waitstaff, and the food! So, over the top! Best food we have had in this area…and as foodies…we have sampled bunches!

awesome food and atmosphere but honestly the bartender Patrick is my reason I keep going back! def one of the best bartenders in Mooresville. look for the guy with good jokes, better drinks, and an excellent head of hair!

One of the hidden gems in Mooresville. It makes going out for a meal truly worth it. Great food, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a cool and calm vibe. Lauren K was our server. We went for Sunday brunch with a reservation. (recommended) Had the traditional Benedict and the Brunch Smash Burger. Prepared perfectly. We’ll definitely come back. Please take care of your great chef 👨‍🍳 and staff so they’ll stick around.

One of the best restaurants in Mooresville. This is our go to for any occasion. Love the Fresh Catch!!! Better than Magnolias in Charleston.

This is my second time here, the first time was sort of bittersweet so to speak. There was an awful smell coming from the hallway before you enter the actual restaurant and it turned me off. ( i believe it’s the locker room by the smell) but the second time around it seems to be cleared up. Which is wonderful! For starters, I had the Caesar salad (both visits) which is very good and HUGE, enough for two people easy. I had the meatloaf the first time and it was so so and nothing special. The second time which was today, I tried the fried chicken which again was so so and nothing special. I do have to admit for the money, you are definitely not going home hungry at all! And if you can somehow eat it all? Or eat enough that you’re not stuffed? Their dessert looks absolutely delicious- I can’t comment on how it tastes due to always feeling like a balloon. Definitely will give it another go.

Ok SOOO.. First time at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was hot, fresh and flavorful. The ambiance and the staffs service was OUTSTANDING! I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with whipped mashed potatoes and corn. My wife had the fried chicken and smoked Mac and cheese, and my son had the chicken tenders and fries! Well I have to give them an A. I will be back! If you get a chance go check em out!

Dinner was amazing! The staff was attentive and the food was flavorful. We also visited for brunch and although the service was good, the food that day wasn’t the best. Presentation was good but the flavor fell short.

ON THE NINES IS A HOLE IN ONE: First of all, when I heard of a restaurant, at a golf course, I thought, oh, trying to make a "19th Hole" a restaurant. Oh Nay Nay...This is a full blown dining experience. When you walk in, you learn the course behind. Everyone was friendly from the hostess to the chef, they all came by our table to see how we were doing. Pricing was good and there was plenty on the plate to make two additional meals. I had the French onion soup and Angus meatloaf. My dinner companion had the same soup and Lobster and Shrimp linguine. All was phenomenal. The Blueberry Buck, libation, was right on point. Don't pass this hidden gem.
