They have 2 locations and they're both great. Consistent, good food, and a great price. The mixed burrito is always great, and any chicken plate is delicious. A great spot for great Mexican food.

Prefer it to El Pollo Loco. Need to support our small independently owned restaurants. I go there for the chicken. Mexican places overcook their tri-tip so I don't order it. I like this place.

The service was good and quick. The food was good, but I liked the food at their Simi Valley location more.

Great tri-tip. And chicken as well. It's a bit dingy, so don't go expecting a fine dining experience. But if you're hankering for some fine tasting meats, you can't go wrong.

Good food. Chicken and tri tip prepared well but they don't offer guacomole and double check your order when picking up. If you order flower tortillas, you usually will get corn. So far they're 3 for 3. Rice and beans are a bit bland.

Similar to an El Polo loco, but no tostada's or burritos. They have Trip beef, pork chops, chicken, all fresh grilled with tortillas, salsa, rice & beans. That's all ! Limited menu, but what they have to me is the best in it's class.

AMAZING chicken, great tri tip and decent sides. Can't think of a better place for juicy, fresh tasting chicken of the top of my head. Sides don't cost much but are tiny. Refills are not free though they are sometimes nice enough not to charge. Slightly more expensive than your average mexican place, but quality food. If you're coming from the free, remember to turn right BEFORE the traffic light. I've never tried it, but my friend has experience with their catering menu (specifically the meat) and loved it.

Good food, flame broiled chicken, pork chops and tritip at a reasonable price. Don't expect a romantic ambiance. Place could use an upgrade to the facilities. They do alot of order out business. Try the Tritip Burrito. The wife and I usually eat here once a month. Offer a free birthday meal.

Wonderful menudo, delicious chicken. Tri tip a bit chewy. The burrito was large and yummy. You are not going for atmosphere for sure. When we ordered the menudo, we were told they would bring it out to the patio. We were about finished with the meal, it still wasn't there, we asked for it to be packed to go. They were very apologetic and brought it packed with condiments to go. A to go order might be the way to go next time.

I drive in the parking lot and i see the chefs are cutting the bushes and cleaning around the trash cans outside. So I walk in the restaurant then I see one of the guys walking in to the restaurant and he sneeze into his hands and he walked in straight in to the kitchen. Im looking at him and he never once wash his hands and he was touching all the food with his dirty hands. He made my order and I was so disgusted I got my food and threw it into the trash can. I will never go there again just imagine all the dirty stuff they do when you’re not looking.

They give less beans and less salsa, the fajita tri-tip is mostly green peppers and uniones. They have to get there act together or people are going to stop going there.

One of those places that seem authentic but are 100% not. Everything was either dry or flavorless from the salsa to the flour tortillas. I will say I did not try their chicken which is probably the one thing that draws people to this place.

Too expensive

This place has good food but the employees have major attitude. Come for the food, not for the service. Especially the young ladies. They eye roll, talk to the air like you don't even matter and don't acknowledge you when you come in.

Kind of sketchy and they must use 10 times the salt needed. Never again. They'd better be careful serving that much salt to people with medical conditions!
