Great place, friendly helpful staff and really tasty food at affordable prices. Best of all, if you're prepared to lock your mobile phone away (on a box on your table) for 45mins, you get 10% discount on your meal. Great idea, bring back conversation.

Buen servicio. Pedimos dos tanques de cerveza, pan con alioli, aceitunas y unos nachos grandes. Después unos cafés. Y con eso almorzamos dos personas. Cobraron unos 20 euros. Nos pareció bien. Volveremos a probar menú. Amplío reseña: acudo a karaoke los miércoles. Gente estupenda. La camarera fue muy amable y servicial. El DJ era genial. Fue muy divertido y ameno.

Cosy atmosphere with a fire and Christmas decorations. Nice table setting and friendly service. The house red wine is a bonus and they've just updated the wine menu. The Shiraz was really nice. Classic, English Sunday roast and tasty starters of tomato and basil soup, creamy garlic mushrooms, pate or prawn cocktail. The homemade desserts are absolutely worth trying, even if you are full like we were. Very tasty, and very good value. Definitely recommended.

We went to The Hilltop today as fancied a roast. It was so lovely. The last time we came here was over 32 years ago, which was my husband's first trip abroad. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Merry Christmas to you all.

This is a Lovely Place. Staff so friendly. Food was excellent value for money. Lovely inside and outside seating areas. Lovely pool also to enjoy on those hot days. One not to be missed!! Glad to call it Our new local!

Well where do I start. I know it's only mushroom soup, but I've eat et? Is that spelt the same? I've lost the plot! However the soup was on par with any 5 star place I've been to, which I've been to a few. Served with fresh hot bread, the football and boxing on the huge screen, in a large outdoor/ indoor area separate from the restaurant, another room where you can play pool, seating and lots of different areas suiting all, ie I'm a fussy cow, and there where plenty of areas that I'd sit! Lol. So, yes go! Food, wine, various entertainment , something for all! Pip

Pub/sports bar that does an excellent Sunday roast. I don't normally succumb to 'English' dishes while in Spain but was treated. Roast beef and pork were our choices with selection of veg and Yorkshire pudding. Prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms were starters. Very tasty, well presented and friendly, efficient staff. Need transport if you are near the town.

We have visited many times and have given good reviews, and enjoyed the food, however, on Fishy Friday, the food was very disappointing. The batter on the fish couldn't be broken into with a knife or a bite, chips undercooked, would like to comment on the curry sauce, but they put mushy peas instead (even though curry sauce was ordered). The waitress, was brilliant, and wanted to resolve the problem, she was apologetic, and asked us to order off the menu again. My husband declined, and was in bad mood for the rest of the day as he was hungry 😖

Roast pork was good and tender but the pate was an expensive addition because it had dried after being portioned.

Exceptional entertainment, cool jazz guitarist. Good beer 🍺 lovely chips and mayo, fun atmosphere. Super Bueno.

Good value, tasty food. This spacious sports bar has the biggest screen you have ever seen so if sport is your thing, this is the place for you. I am not a sports fan but I did enjoy my fall-off-the-bone ribs, lovely salad and some very decent wine. Excellent value for money, plenty of parking and plenty of social distancing. I shall certainly eat there again.

Well priced food and drinks and the carbonara was good. The staff seem efficient though not particularly cheerful. Great music… if Joel Wilkinson is playing, make a point to see him, really good covers and original music.

Very large pub with outside terrace to both the front and the rear. In the summer they have a pool at the back and sometimes do BBQ. Lots of TVs to watch sport and being a bit of a walk outside town is frequented by both locals and visitors who have rented in the area. They usually have music nights, open mic nights as well as various other events and quizzes. Food is good pub food, prices are reasonable and it is clean and organised.

Very friendly staff, nice place to have a drink at a reasonable price. Very nice light white wine. For Belgian beer lovers not so much to choose from but that doesn't spoil the fun.

Went for the Sunday roast (1pm-7pm) but arrived late on (~6pm). Would recommend arriving earlier as it seemed we got the leftovers that had been sat around for a while. Roast potatoes tough, chicken dry and barely a teaspoon of mash potatoes per person. Heard afterwards that it was a new chef and their first time running a Sunday roast, so hopefully will get better with time (or just get there earlier). Reasonable price and friendly staff though.

UPDATE.Such a shame was great the first couple of times but the last 2 timeswe went the cups were filthy. Such a shame. No more Hilltop for us. Friendly staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Relaxing pool area. What more could you need? 👌👌👌

My wife and I got food poisoning 1st visit but we booked to see a show. Arrived they forgot our booking and we’d paid €20 deposit. Put us on a table with my back to the show. Empty tables next to us. Food was bad again. Steak was like rubber and mushrooms were slippery and chips were all stuck together. When I complained the chef came out uninvited and wanted to fight me. (Rude) I did not see the show and gave back a virtually uneaten meal but paid full price of €75 but they forgot to take off my deposit we had to go back or it would have cost €95. Never going back there and I hope my experience helps you.
