Great find! We were passing through riverside and needed somewhere to feed our family. Great atmosphere for families. Amazing food, huge portions. Pizzas and spaghetti carbonara were great hits. Other reviews mention pricey, but no more than olive garden only far better food.

It was a bit of a wait to sit in but that wasn't a problem. The food is good, the servers are attentive and the food showed up hot and fresh. It was a lovely dinner for my partner and myself. The atmosphere is warm and the lighting is kept low so if you have light sensitivities that would be a bonus. One thing I noticed: if you have a wheelchair the restaurant is very small so it's a lot of tight spaces. Keep that in mind.

Been there a few time's by far our favorite Italian restaurant. Good portions on all meals, Pizza is amazing. They have lunch specials weekdays that are very affordable and still has plenty of food. The lunch specials I like are the sandwich's, I haven't had a bad sandwich yet. The meat sauce they use on there meals is great. Very quiet setting. Service is always friendly and helpful no matter what time your there.

After trying many places, right here was where I had the best fettuccine alfredo by a long shot. Furthermore, I came with a work group when I visited, and we were all served quickly and nicely; the cozy vibe of the whole restaurant left is feeling great too, along with the food. Definitely eating here again!

I Crave the Meat Sauce Lasagna here, best in California, and I have tried Lasagna up and down this state. Back home for a visit, we had to stop here. My favorite Italian restaurant and one of the best in California. I've been around and no one can come close to their Lasagna. I've tasted a lot of Lasagna around California and this is still the best I've ever had. Get it with a spicy sausage in the dish. Outstanding. I miss not living close to it anymore. Maybe I can get them to ship me some in Sequoia National Park. 😂

I first had Joe's pizza back when there were two tables and a fountain (1970's). You could see Joe tossing the pizza dough traditional style like it had been for generations. Today's meal invoked memories from my childhood that flooded my mind as I tasted the familiar flavors from my childhood. I highly recommend Joe's Pizza especially, out of towners, you won't be disappointed Get the Anti-Pasta salad 🥗 it's amazing!!!

I first went to Joe's when my parents got stationed at March AFB in 1979. It is still in the same bldg and the food is still amazing. The food is good quality and you get quite a bit for the price. Definitely coming back for more.

Joe's has the best Italian food in town. I've been eating here for 30 years, and while I wouldn't say it's the same as it always was, it's still the best around. The marinara sauce is exceptional, the pizzas are great (the crust is crispy perfection), and the fried mozzarella is not to be missed. They're a little pricy, but it's worth every penny.

Pizza is the best in town. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. About the same price as Round Table Pizza and similar places but you get better quality everything and pizza is bigger. I order the mobb boss pizza all the time its what they call their meat lovers pizza. Huge pizza with generous toppings really 1 1/2 slices you're full.

Great place I haven't been to in years. Came for the fried ravioli. Also had the rib eye steak which was very good. Portions are huge so I took home about half of it.

I’m always craving spaghetti and meatballs. Lived in this area a long time and first time here. Service was phenomenal! Everything we ordered was great. Wedge salad with the addition of balsamic was great. Liked that we could order halves of most dishes but also get sides of meatballs and sausages. I had a hard time choosing what to get. Meatball was soft and sauce was good. We will be back to try other dishes.

All I can say is that I'm pleasantly surprised reading the EXPANDED MENU! Joe's has come up smh beyond with their selection of not only their well-known delicious pizzas but so many dishes beyond lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti and wide choice is sauces, plus linguini, BUT so many dishes I can't even pronounce. They also serve surf and turf, rib-eye steaks, and lobster. I can't wait to go back and try different dishes. Oh.. we had spaghetti with pesto and chicken, lasagna, and shrimp linguini. Everything was perfect.

The food was fantastic. The veal parm was a bit overcooked but still delicious. The portions were much bigger than expected so we've been eating left overs, which as fire evacuees currently made other meals easier. 10/10 would recommend. I do warn if you park in the first handicap spot not to pull too far forward as there is rebar sticking up that almost ripped our bumper off.

Me and my family have been going to Joe's for so many years It is just an amazing place, the food is so delicious to me it is the best of the best, I always look forward to getting my pasta here, and today I ended up getting takeout I wasn't able to go to indoor dining though it is such a wonderful experience to eat inside but the food is still just as delicious. Today I got the fettuccine Alfredo the full meal not the half and also spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread, to me this is enough for two or three meals each as the portions are great and I just can't get enough of the taste.

Wonderful service. The vegetable lasagna was excellent! My other friend ordered the pizza and he ate it all! My other friend ordered the ravioli and everything was tasty and was not salty. I can't have Parmesan cheese and maybe that is why alot of the reviews says the food is salty. Parmesan cheese is very salty and so next time try the food without the Parmesan cheese and see if it makes a difference. Overall we were all very satisfied and will be back.

The food was really good! Half sizes are good for one person, full sizes if you want to share or want left overs for tomorrow! The cannoli seemed like the "pre-made kept frozen until served" type, ours was still fairly frozen and hard to cut through, probably wouldnt order that again. But the staff was friendly and everything else was great! We got there around 5pm and it started getting busy shortly after. Give it a shot!

Met some friends here for dinner this past Saturday around 5:45. Service was good. I had the Cannaloni and a salad, my husband had the half Lasagna half Spaghetti. Portions were a good size and the food was very good. Our friends had not been here in quite some time and were very pleased with their meals as well. We will be back again in the near future!

I enjoy reading other reviews; especially the 1 stars. If you are complain because the water tastes like it came from the tap it probably did. If you complain that the sauce is watery that's because true Italian sauce is on the watery side. And if you complain about lack of taste that's not the restaurant's fault. It can't cook to each and every liking. With that said I enjoyed their lasagna. The ambience is great. The staff is wonderful. The only thing I wish they had is wine.

We've been to this place 3 times. The service has been excellent. The Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, thumbs up. Their pizza, 2 thumbs up. The only thing that fell short was the calamari, hard and rubbery. Yet, when it comes to going on a date with my wife for some pizza, this is definitely my go-to place.

I really like the chicken Marsala !! I really enjoy Italian food and coming from Fontana to Joes was worth it for me might be a little over price but the proportions are decent.

Joe's Italian is consistently good. The food is tasty and the portion sizes are bountiful. You will always have food to take home. The servers are pleasant and have been here for many years. We have eaten at the restaurant and have ordered out. We are happy with either. The interior is a little dark for my liking but it is very clean. This is a family friendly place and during the week lunchtime you will see workers from throughout the city eating here.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We went there for one of our anniversaries. Unfortunately, the girl that was waiting on our table, stole the information off our credit card and we noticed that they were mini charges and it ended up coming from her. She’s probably not there anymore. Hopefully they fired her. But the food was great. And the people were nice.

It was so nice went there the first time ever with my boyfriend and the service, food and feel was awesome didn't feel crowded or like we stuck out like a sore thumb. It was nice and they even had a good wine selection.

I love this place, I don't understand what took me so long to try it. The pizza is amazing, and the sauce for the pasta actually tastes like effort is put into it. It's easy to miss when you drive past but it's a nice secluded restaurant with a decent sized parking lot. HIGHLY! Recommend.

Delicious! * SPAGHETTI SORRENTO - This red sauce has a lemony taste and very delicious too. Similar to the Pacific, this too includes seafood with the addition of mussels and squid. * MARGHERITA PIZZA - One of my favorite versions of the Margarita Pizza is from Joe’s. The fresh tomatoes and basil give it a quality taste. And the pizza dough is nice and chewy. * MEAT LASAGNA - Bold flavors! I love when I get to the ricotta - super creamy, meaty and just flavorful! * FETTUCCINE ALFREDO - I’ve tried both versions with Chicken and with Shrimp, and my preference is with the Shrimp. Although, the Chicken version is also pretty tasty. * FRIED CALAMARI - This is the way I prefer my fried calamari: lightly battered, slightly seasoned, and paired with a delicious homemade marinara sauce. A squeeze of lemon adds just the right acidity. PARKING Joe’s has their own parking and it is plentiful. Please drive slowly and carefully when entering and exiting the property, as the entrance door is right at the entrance/exit. Overall, great food, wonderful service, and large portions perfect for groups (or save the leftovers for another meal).

Foods okay - probably always has been but I go back for the nostalgia. Meatballs are solid but the spaghetti is just decent. Prices are higher than the quality demands. This is particularly true with the seafood. Stick to the basics.

We all had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. The pasta was very average. The full was enough of a portion for 2 people but i feel its not worth the almost 20 bucks. Makes me feel a microwaveable pasta would taste better. The water tastes like sink water and the soda is more on the syrup side. The garlic bread tastes just like butter and garlic salt. So yea garlic bread jus not very good.

The hostess and waitress were both friendly and attentive; our issue was the food. Everyone ordered different pasta dishes, but unfortunately none of us particularly liked them. I came across reviews that said the food is authentic so we were hopeful that would be the case, but in our opinion it's not.

The food was terrible. Im not sure how this place ranked at 4.5 stars. There is nothing "authentic italian" about this place. The pizza was not very good, the lasagna was too salty, the alfredo was bland, the cheese bread had absolutely no flavor. This place needs a new chef. It has potential as its in a great location. This is one of the ramsey needs to help me places. I almost feel bad for them.

I have been to this restaurant twice; once in 2003 and again in 2023. It has not changed at all. Dark, run down and in need of a remodel. Dining area is very small and crowded. The food is OK. Pizza is amazing but their meat sauce is not very good. Spaghetti was served with about a 1/4 cup of water at the bottom. Not strained and made the not so good sauce worse. Their cheese bread is a slice of white bread with melted mozzarella on it, no seasoning at all. On the appetizer, the waffle fries were great. Everything else, not so good. If you ever went to the Joe's on Van Buren, this restaurant will be a disappointment. Hat to say it, but Spaghetti Factory has better pasta and sauce.

What a fun looking place. It's campy, it's dark it's got empty bottles of chianti as deco. Service I'd great. Waitress is kind, attentive and fast. The food is terrible. Calamari hard and rubbery. The pasta sauce flavorless and harsh. No finesse or love put into the food.

Their house sauce tasted scorched, the garden salad came with dressing on it and was vinegarey and soggy...even the garlic bread lacked flavor. We spent over 110.00 dollars and tipped well $20, out of courtesy ( wait staff were good). The only bright spot was the seafood chippino( I ordered to go) BTW it still needed seasoning... Overall, I won't return, but maybe I was there on a bad day.

I wanted to love this place, but the spaghetti was so sweet my hubby couldn’t even eat it, we didn’t want to be rude so he left it. The waitress noticed it was all untouched. The half serving of lasagna I had wasn’t the worst I’ve had but it was oily, and did not have a lot of flavor. The garlic bread was good. The food here is the worst food I have ever encountered at a restaurant. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary garlic bread. Here, you must pay $7.99 for a half order. I sprung for the cheese bread. I received 4 pieces of microwaved bread covered in slices of mozzarella cheese. I ordered a half plate of spaghetti with a half plate of lasagna. If you want meatballs, it's about $2.50 extra (per meatball.) I figured I'd be offered soup or salad along with the $24 plate of spaghetti without meatballs, so of course that's included. It's not. $15 for a Caesar salad. I don't mind paying high prices for good food. Not only was the food not worth the money, I threw the rest away. My spaghetti had 1/2 cup of water sitting below the noodles. The sauce was flavorless. They make Ragu look gourmet. Our server was great. I do not want to take anything away from them. However, this food was not disappointing. It was atrocious.

Awful. The pizza sucked. It was super thin like a cracker. So there was no dough but some cracker like bottom that had skimpy toppings. No taste whatsoever and took forever to get. On top of that it was burnt where the supposedly crust should have been. I asked the waitress if this was a regular pizza and she yes. The other pictures on the website shows big crust nope now a cracker like one. It use to be a great place. But now save your money and go elsewhere.

Upon being seated by a waitress, we were completely ignored for over 20 minutes while she engaged in conversation with another individual. Despite our presence and obvious need for service, she made no effort to acknowledge us. However, we noticed that a white couple in the restaurant was attended to promptly. Feeling disrespected and unwelcome, we ultimately decided to leave. As we exited, the waitress sarcastically told us to "have a nice day," further adding to our frustration. We strongly believe this experience was rooted in racial discrimination, as we are African American and were deliberately ignored. Additionally, the restaurant itself was poorly maintained, with an unpleasant smell inside and an unkempt, uninviting exterior. The lack of professionalism extended beyond the restaurant visit—when I attempted to call and speak with a manager or owner, I was kept on hold for over 30 minutes with no resolution. This experience was unacceptable, and I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this establishment to anyone I know. I hope you take this matter seriously and address both the discriminatory treatment and the overall lack of professionalism at your restaurant. I would appreciate a response regarding this issue.

Poor quality. Nothing in this restaurant is Italian

I ordered penni pasta with garlic and basil It was drouning in oil the take out bag was soaked in oil. They just said it comes this way. Please stay away all the people in the kitchen are NOT Italian. It was intentional. This is the floorboard of my car full of oil.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING AND A OWNER WHO WANTS TO DO NOTHING ANOUT IT AND WHO IS BEYOND RUDE! yesterday my partner and i went in to eat and ordered mozzarella sticks that were completely frozen inside and a meat ball sandwich that the meat balls were freezer burnt and taste like rancid water not to mention it was more bread than meat balls in the first place. Now onto my partners tortellini it was completely undercooked and hard and the Alfredo sauce taste and smelled like old sour milk we felt super uncomfortable to ask for the owner as the staff kept staring at us when the waitress came over and asked how the food was I said horrible and she still walked away and didn’t ask why or what’s wrong and now both my partner and my self both have food poisoning from this horrible place!

The food tasted and smelled funny. I had to stop eating on my second bite. I paid and left. The waitress asked if I wanted a box… didn’t even asked if I wanted to try something else and wished me a good night… what a disappointment. The place is old and smells bad. If you ask then skip this “restaurant”, and you’re welcome.

Service was ok, never really came up to us after ordering and delivering food. Ordered the linguinie with clam sauce and carbonara. The clam sauce said it was white but was made entirely of oil. The carbonara tasted like butter pasta and had an aftertaste. Disappointed because I had high hopes according to google map ratings.

Finally after 5yrs living in Morno Valley, I came to Joe's with my daughter. I always mention to my husband about this place, but he never decided on it. It was a little late coming home from admitting my husband to the hospital. My daughter and I decided to share the steak and lobster dinner🦞. We asked for the steak medium rare. When we got our dinner, our steak was cold and over cooked. It looked like a rib eye on Ozempic. When the bill came, not only did they charge us for the steak, but they added a sub charge for Alfredo and an open food charge??. They racked up the bill, and when waitress was questioned about it, she lied and said she did not charge for the substitute pasta. I always tip 18% or more when I'm happy with the service, I don't even care about the food at times. If the server treats me well, thats all that matters. This time I did not tip. Over all our meal wasn't bad, other than the dried rib eye steak on Ozempic, and the cheating, and lieing from our waitress. Very dissapionting. I really would have like to become a regular with my husband.
