I've been searching for my taco moment for the past 2 years, and I finally found it here! Not only excellent portions of protein for the price, but the flavor was spot on. I wish I was hungrier so I could stuff my face with more of these exquisite tacos. The service was quick. I'd go again and again.

How do you tell a person that their taste buds are wrong? I'm still trying to figure it out. My friend and I have recently been on a quest to try every taqueria in Morgan Hill. One day I tried Las Isabelas solo and my taste buds were blown away. I notified my friend about my culinary experience and told him that Las Isabelas is my new favorite taqueria. He was skeptical and was convinced it was impossible for any taqueria to outperform Super Taqueria. A few days later we went to Las Isabelas and I couldn't wait for him to see them do the impossible. When he was eating the burrito he was moaning in joy the whole time. After he was finished I was ready for him to confess his new allegiance to Las Isabelas, but the next thing he said made me sick. He said that it was really really good, but still not better than Super Taqueria. I honestly couldn't even look at him. How could he be so stubborn? Some people can't see a good thing even when it smacks them right in the face. My issue wasn't that he was just flat out wrong. My issue was that he didn't go in with an open mind. He walked into Las Isabelas already thinking that nothing could be better than Super Taqueria. How can one be open to change if you're blindly following one taqueria. Maybe all he needs is time getting used to Las Isabelas and eventually it will be his new favorite taqueria. It's definitely my new favorite.

I have never been disappointed here. Food tastes great and the owners are very nice and hospitable. Service is fast. Our kids love the carne asada super quesadillas. This is a great restaurant with great service. Their breaded meat cutlets are some of the best I’ve had. I also like their fajitas. Overall, this restaurant has great service, cleanliness, and a calm ambient.

Friendly service and I had a great chile verde burrito with some awesome salsa. It was only my first visit, so I will have to try them again and update in the near future.

This is the best place to go if you’re hungry with you ur family. We got here and got a table immediately, the place was super clean which was an instant green flag. I ordered three tacos of carne asada with onion and cilantro, the servers were super nice with me and my family. Food was always super fast which the wait time was for 5 minutes with my family of 3, not only was the wait time fast, the food was so delicious and were the best tacos I’ve ever had even better then the ones I had in Mexico. Overall a perfect place to eat with your family.

This is THE BEST Restaurant I have ever been to. I live in Canada but I always make sure I come to eat here before doing anything else. I ALWAYS order the enchiladas and oh my they are the best things I’ve ever tasted in the whole universe. They also have lollipops in a basket by the cashier, I always make sure to grab one because then I can say that my eating here was worth it. Please stop by this place it’s soo good. Small cosy place offering good Mexican food. We ordered 4 vegetarian dishes and all of us liked it. Portions are plenty, so 4 of us could have easily managed with just 3 dishes. Agqua Fresca and Jerrito were nice accompaniments. So were chips and salsa (free). The waitress was a very nice woman. Food didn't take too long to come after ordering and was warm, nicely cooked. The place is casual, had a good crowd (one large family and several others), TVs running sports and news.

Everything was perfect from the fresh guacamole and salsa to the delicious sopes, with it's crunchy exterior and perfectly-textured interior softness. The al pastor was cooked just the way I love it... a delicious, slight char to some of the meat pieces was a perfect balance to the thick tortilla, lettuce sour cream and guacamole. The beans were flavorful awesomeness as was the rice. My partner had fish tacos that were also delicious as well. The service was quick and very friendly. We arrived after 1:00 p.m. and it was not busy. I'm surprised there is no line for this place and I feel that it might be a hidden Jewel that has been open for 6 years now. You might miss it if you use Apple maps, but Android got us back on track and to the rear parking.

update 1/2024: when everyone increased prices after covid they are still cheap and food still great. $2.25 tacos all day everyday. lunch specials 11a-3p 2 tacos or two enchiladas w/rice, beans, and a soda $8.50 😱 This place is a bargain and the food is amazing. I mainly come for the tacos and they are so cheap, and it's a sit in restaurant. Al pastor is what I like and they are already generous with the portions.

My wife loves their super burrito (wet), and it's BIG - she gets 3 meals out of it. I get the Camarones Veracruzana and have enough left for a lunch portion. Prices are really reasonable for the amount of food you get.

The food was authentic and delicious. Service was fast. Very comfortable place to relax and eat. I would highly recommend this place. It looks like it's not crowded because you park in the back. They actually get a good crowd both to eat in and take away! Go there!

Soooooooo Good! I'm a SoCal girl and picky about Mexican food. (When you grown up in LA, you know what good Mexican food tastes like.) We moved up here recently and it took awhile to find a good Mexican spot. Everything we've had so far has been really good. The meat isn't dry. The portions are generous. The shop is clean. Can't wait to dine in when we are finally allowed. 😷🤤🤤🤤 (And, you can catch up on telenovelas if you go at the right time)😉🌮🌯🥣

A great little taqueria here in Morgan Hill. Where else can you get 3 delicious meat tacos to go for under $6?? They even include chips and salsa! My first choice if I missed dinner but made it back to MH before they close. Great lunch plate bargain too. Consistantly very good.

Loved it! Bistek Ranchero was tasty and pleasant and the service was amazing. I appreciate that most were wearing masks, just for general food hygiene! I appreciate when people who are working with my food wear a mask ❤️

Best burrito (or anything Mexican) in Morgan Hill. I’ve tried them all and this place checks all of the boxes: great flavor, great staff, authentic flavor, and cheap! I probably eat here 3-4 times a week and never have been disappointed.

Had their lengua, al pastor, and carne asada meats; the al pastor and lengua are both excellent. Burritos are a good size and ingredients are always well balanced. Their able to accommodate no added salt, less rice and sour cream. Decent service. Small restaurant with indoor seating only. Limited parking spaces in their private lot. They provide complimentary chips and salsa if you dine in. No beers on tap

I even have a friend that lives in Santa Clara that swears by it, yet I still didn’t try it or ask my friend any questions…just kept assuming it was something it wasn’t. Anywho, I just tried it for the first time. It was everything I didn’t think it was going to be. Ha! It’s a sit down restaurant. I went with three other people and all of us would go back again. I had the vegetarian burrito, no sour cream and added extra cheese. The burrito was large (not huge), but my first thought was “there is no way I’ll finish this whole thing in one sitting”. I took the foil off, cut it in half and took a bite. My first thought was “oh wow…this is delicious”. I devoured the first half and to my surprise…I ate the second half as well. It was so freaking good!!! I want to go back and get it again! The enchiladas (green sauce) also looked tasty as well. The service was awesome! The place was clean! And the prices were very fair! I’ll be back and this could very well be a restaurant that ends up in my “local rotation”. Extra parking in the back was easy!!

Stopped by for lunch with my husband and were greeted by the nice ladies working the lunch shift. They have a good selection of aguas frecas, honestly the best to beat this heat, and their food options are reasonably priced and yummy. I got the shrimp tacos platter and not only were they nicely cooked, but 3 great portions which left me full by taco #2. They have a couple great lunch options for $8.99 + tax & gratuity. Overall, I will be coming back for lunch and just in general. Thank you Las Isabelas for a great dining experience.

They have a good selection of aguas frecas, honestly the best to beat this heat, and their food options are reasonably priced and yummy. Love the Grande burrito mojado. For normal humans it's two meals, but everything I have had was real good food.

Great service, chili Verde, soft carne asada taco, and horchata was fantastic chicken enchiladas ran tords the bland side.

The Chile Verde was good, but my cheese enchilada was not very good.

My friends love this place, I don't eat red meats, I eat fish, and I tried the shrimp ceviche, it was not prepared correctly, they just got already cooked shrimp, and squirted lemon juice on it, so the ceviche was pretty bland.

Would like to give it five stars but it just misses. The burritos are sensational. The Vegetarian burrito was a good mix of ingredients with a sauce with flavor and a small kick. The chicken burrito had plenty of well seasoned chicken. The tacos were spicy but just meat and onions, nothing else. Contrary to the burritos, the tacos were very small. The place was very quiet yet the food came out very slowly. We also found the drink selection a bit sparse. Bottom line, go for the burritos, they are worth the wait. We might not dine in again but it will be a regular to-go option.

I'm being generous giving the place 3 stars because the food was just barely ok. I had the chili relleno lunch special and the chili had so little cheese inside that I thought I wasn't going to find any, so when I finally hit some at a little past the halfway point I felt like I should be celebrating.

Last week, we ordered a regular carne asada wet burrito and a carnitas wet burrito no rice. The burritos were ok and the sauce they poured on top wasn't great. The carnitas were also kind of wet/greasy without much flavor. The staff was very nice though. We decided we'd go back for a second chance and try their tacos and nachos, but haven't been back yet.

Food was just ok. Chips and salsa were store bought. While the carne asada was over cooked it was cover in grilled jalapeños and onions so it was still juicy. Rice and beans seemed to be freshly made and the plate presentation was decent.

I ordered a taco salad which was supposed to come with "rice, beans, chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese, and guacamole." It arrived with the rice, beans, and chicken. Instead of pico de gallo I received slices of tomatoes and the guacamole was two slices of avocado. The lettuce was left in large pieces which gave a tasteless feel. The food was overall very bland as there was no salsa or sauce to the dish. I would not come back here again.

I'm sorry to say I did not like their food. I was able to eat half of it but that's it. The salsa was bland, not spicey. I had chilie raeno(sorry about spelling) and chicken enchilada. Not very good. This the first time I only ate half my chillie raeno. The rice and beans had no flavor either.

The food was not tasty at all! Chicken soup was very salty and tasted like it was 5 days old. The beef soup (cocido de res) was totally watered down and didn’t have the good beefy flavor beef stew should have. Almost as if they added water on top to make it soupier. For as much as my husband put salt and salsa, it just didn’t taste like cocido.
