Food isnt rushed but combinations are unexpected pair ups like rucker park 2v2s. Lamb stew hits, the grilled meats are delicious, and the cheesy breads be on some bready cheese I like this very much wow *thumbup emoji Will be back again
This cozy Georgian restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious traditional dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of homemade food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for wonderful Georgian food and would like to come back here again.
We ate here for the first time this weekend. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the fact that the combinations of flavors was unique. The food did not taste like any other restaurant I have been to in some time. This is a good thing! We will definitely be back.
First time at Badageoni Restaurant today, first of many to come, and I'm bringing people with me, family freinds, anyone I like. Compliments to the Chef who brought me and my wife right back to our own Georgian dinning table without a flaw. Every dish from the first listing on the menu, 'Georgian Salad, to the desserts(which we only gazed at as it passed our table) was fresh & delicious. I don't do salads, but couldn't resist the outstanding flavors. GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!! Service was so authentic Georgian style. Thank you Badageoni's for a wonderful feast!!
Georgian food at it's best. Wow! It was my first time experiencing Georgian cuisine. The food was the best ❤️ Will definitely be back with friends.
Badageoni Georgian Kitchen Absolutely loved this place! Everything was incredibly delicious — rich flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and true Georgian comfort food done right. You can really feel the authenticity and care in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly, and the food is just next level. From the first dish to the last, everything was outstanding. If you enjoy bold flavors, hearty meals, and genuinely good food, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend! 🇬🇪🔥🍽️
Loved this place — Have to confirm that the food is truly authentic and absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive and very quick without ever feeling intrusive. The whole experience felt genuine and welcoming. One of those spots you remember after you leave. Definitely a must-try in Upper Westchester.
A beautiful place, very comfortable. Service was excellent, and so friendly. The food I've never had before was really, really delicious. From the Turkish coffee, through the dumplings and cold veggies for appetizers, the salmon and hen was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Loved the beef soup and the cheese bread was fantastic. Desert was excellent as well. Can't wait to go back.
This was the first time we visited a Georgian restaurant and we were very impressed. The ambiance, service and food was outstanding. Sofia was our waitress and she did an excellent job explaining the different dishes and her recommendations were spot on. I can't wait to come here again!!
I went to Badageoni for the first time with my American friends to introduce them to Georgian food, and we were all so impressed! We ordered around 6–7 different dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious — big portions, great taste, and everything arrived right on time. What really made the experience special was the amazing service. The lady manager was so friendly and attentive, she made us feel very welcome. Also, a big thank you to Saba — he was super nice, cool, and very attentive throughout our meal. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience real Georgian hospitality and food! 🇬🇪🍷
This place is truly outstanding, and shockingly it seems to only get better with time. If you never tried, go try! If you tried, I bet you’ll be back just like us. 😃 All items on the menu are outstanding, but my personal favorite is khinkali. They are basically the best “soup” dumplings you can ever try. This place is truly a product of love.
While on a trip to Connecticut, we stopped by Badageoni for a late lunch—and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. We were starving, and the food hit every mark: comforting, hearty, and fresh. Though the portion sizes looked small, they were incredibly filling—any more and we would've been uncomfortably full. Here's what we had: Pkhali Rolls Eggplant and sweet peppers stuffed with walnut pâté A small but deeply flavorful plate. The smoky eggplant paired beautifully with the slightly textured walnut pâté, offering a creamy and earthy balance to the oiliness of the eggplant. The sweet peppers almost had a pickled quality, bringing a sour contrast that cut through the richness. The highlight, however, was the cornbread patty—dense, creamy, and subtly sweet. Unlike American-style cornbread, it had a smoother texture and made the perfect palate cleanser between bites. Mini Khinkali Beef & pork dumplings in yogurt sauce, topped with puff pastry This was the standout dish. Served in a small clay pot, the dumplings were tender and juicy, nestled in a tangy, rich yogurt sauce. The puff pastry lid trapped in steam and, once soaked in the sauce, turned into the perfect flaky companion to the dish. It was comforting, balanced, and unforgettable—I’ve thought about it every day since. Chakapuli Lamb stew with white wine, tarragon, scallions, sour plums & herbs, served with shoti bread This was a unique and exciting dish. The combination of tarragon and sour plums was unlike anything I’ve had before. The stew was fragrant and bright, with the sour notes lifting the richness of the lamb and completely eliminating any gamey flavor. The white wine presence was a bit strong at first but mellowed with each bite. The shoti bread—baked in a traditional tone oven—was fresh, stretchy, and ideal for sopping up the broth. We visited around 3 PM and had the place nearly to ourselves. The service was excellent—attentive, thoughtful, and well-paced. We were tempted by the dessert menu, which featured a variety of traditional cakes, but felt too full to commit to more bread-based options. That said, I’d love to see a traditional Georgian tea service added to the menu—small cake slices with jam or muraba (like walnut or melon) would make a beautiful end to the meal. I also hope they’ll expand into other Georgian desserts like Churchkhela, Pelamushi, Tklapi, or Kaklucha to showcase more of Georgia’s culinary depth. We can’t wait to return on our next trip and try even more of the menu.
This place is amazing. The ambiance was really pleasant, there were families and couples. The staff was super friendly, happy to talk and share their story. The lamb khinkali, imeruli katchapuri, and georgian salad were probably the best i’ve ever had outside Georgia. Worth going out of your way for!
We were so excited to try this place, and our experience did not disappoint. Every dish we tried, from appetizer to entree, was so fresh and bursting with unique flavor combinations. The portions are generous and made to share, and our server was very happy to help us choose. The beet, spinach, and carrot appetizer was fantastic. The beans with pickles, cabbage, and bread! The cheese bread swoon-worthy. And the chicken kebab was spiced just right. We can't wait to go back and try more, including the wines.
It's definitely a place to try. Authentic georgian restaurant. The service was wonderful, so helpful, friendly, and kind. The atmosphere is relaxing, and they had such great music. The food was excellent, well cooked, and tasted fresh. We tried the lobio, adjaruli, potato dumplings, and the georgian salad (the spices and walnut dressing was superb). We had the penovani to go, and it was delicious.
Delicious, and unique with a warm inviting ambiance. The eggplant/walnut pate was out of this world good, The lamb was super tender, cooked perfectly! Ending with a very generous portion of the best Napoleon's I've ever had for dessert. Has also received a (well deserved) nod by the Michelin star association.
Wonderful date restaurant. Food, vibe and service excel. My only complaint would be the dumplings, although great taste, dough at top is quite thick and chewy, and a chicklet of meat. Almost entirely broth, and not even enough of that... The rest was great though. Would return !
I had never tried Georgian food before, but I really enjoyed the food here. It was cooked well and had good flavor. I especially enjoyed the perogi-like dumplings, the veg appetizers and the Georgian vodka. Portion size is fair for the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If I have one criticism it's that the place was not very busy but some people at the table didn't get their order until 10-20 minutes later than others.
It used to be fairly authentic place however our last dinner at Bagadeoni left me the sense of disappointment. Almost all dishes we ordered were lucking of that unique taste of Georgia. Chicken tapaka - dear chef, don’t think Americans have no idea how it should be prepared, I give you 3 out of 10 Tolma and hinkali should not be cooked from the same ground meat and spices mixture. it has to be different. I rate it no higher than 6 out of 10. Chakapuli was a bit watery but ok because strong aroma of tarragon covers all flaws We wish you all luck, preserve Georgian traditions with grace, that traditions place high value on guests and food
I ordered takeout after finding this place online? The food looks amazing and I thought my lamb dish with potatoes, eggplant, and bell peppers was very good. But for how expensive this place it is not worth the prices they are charging. In total I received two tiny tiny lamb chops, which after weighing both of them they weighed less than 60 grams with bones in both (look at the pictures I posted). I also order some bean and bread item, but in my opinion it was not worth $18 for refried black bean in fresh bread with four tiny Greek peppers. If you do it have a budget, this place is great. But if you re like 90% of the people in the US, this place is way over priced for what little you receive.
