I really liked this place! I came here with a friend before a concert at the shoreline and we really enjoyed it. We got a Dragon roll and a baked scallop roll (which was amazing). The service was good and the food came out pretty quickly. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We love this place. This is one of the best sushi restaurants in our city. Food is fresh and professionally cooked. Service is outstanding.

Biked over from our hotel and grabbed a table without waiting on a Saturday evening. Plenty of tables inside, good lighting, and nice staff. Large sushi roll menu. We started with the spicy edamame and it was great, to an addicting point. I got the monster roll and the spicy hamachi. Good quality fish, rice was solid, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Solid spot for sushi.

Stumbled upon Hanabi out of luck. Have been to a lot of Sushi restaurants and Hanabi is extremely impressive, up there with the best of them, especially bang for your buck value for such high quality food and service and experience. Have returned multiple times and have made it a point to order something different each visit, and each time I am left very happy, full, and appreciating terrific food. Entire restaurant is spotlessly clean and clearly well maintained and taken care of. The staff is friendly and prompt with service with frequent table visits. Food is fresh and super high quality, exactly as advertised in the menu and photos. Very highly recommend Hanabi, I will continue to go back.

The decor is minimalistic but inviting, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for both casual dining and business lunches. Visit Details: I visited on May 29 around 12 PM. The place was quiet and not very busy, which was surprising given the quality of the food and the reasonable prices by Mountain View, CA standards. I appreciated the peaceful setting, allowing me to enjoy my meal without the usual lunchtime rush. Service: Our waitress was friendly yet unobtrusive, perfect for those on the introverted side. She checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed without engaging in excessive chit-chat. This level of attentive service is a must for good customer service. Parking: The parking situation is excellent as Hanabi Sushi shares a spacious parking lot with Costco, making it convenient to find a spot without stress. Menu and Food: The menu at Hanabi Sushi is extensive, offering a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. I ordered the Dinner Combo Bento plate for $23.00, which includes one protein, one side, rice, ginger, wasabi, salad, and miso soup. The miso soup can be upgraded to clam or mushroom for an additional $3.00. For my protein, I chose spicy chicken. It was juicy and well-seasoned, though I wished for a spicier kick. The California Rolls (8 pieces) were fresh and delicious. I also ordered a passion fruit green tea, which was refreshing and garnished with two slices of lemon. Overall Experience: The portions were well-balanced, and the food was excellent. The salad was crisp and fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the miso soup, although not as hot as I prefer, was flavorful. The quiet atmosphere and excellent service made my visit enjoyable. I highly recommend Hanabi Sushi for its quality food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. Whether you are a long-time sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, Hanabi Sushi is a must-visit. The Beef Rib Udon at Hanabi Sushi is a must-try! The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the beef ribs are incredibly tender. The portions are generous and the service is always friendly. This has become my go-to spot for a satisfying and delicious meal!

Hanabi is my go-to place for takeout sushi. Just look how thick the slices of fish are!!! The flavors and quality are always top notch at an affordable price. I order online and it’s almost always fast. The only time I had to wait longer than expected was on a Friday night.

Great bento box, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Its one of our regular places to go. According to our nutrition expert, Japanese food is healthier than Chinese because there are no hidden sugars. Bon appetit! Visited today. Upgraded presentation is very impressive.

Good food! The sushi sauce and miso soup are too salty. But overall have good taste. I like the lobster roll and scallop roll. Seafood is fresh and good quality. The mochi ice cream is very good! Mochi is soft and ice cream is yummy! Highly recommend!!

The place is clean, every table has hand sanitizer which is the new normal now. We saw the waitress sanitizing the bottle of soy sauce after customers left. Customer service and food are great.

Was looking for fresh delectable sushi while I was visiting Cali. This spot popped up on Google maps so I thought I'd give it a try. It 100% did not disappoint. The service was amazing & the sushi was delicious. I got a miso soup, 2 rolls & a specialty beverage all for $50 (including tip). I will definitely come back again when I'm in town.

Their lunch special was quite good for the price and they were really fast serving the food and quite friendly. For the price it’s a pretty good deal and a decent portion definitely may return in the future. Sashimi looked really would come back just to try. Also pretty good sized poki bowl, my co workers enjoyed!

The dining area is split between a cozy interior table and chair setup and a larger patio area. We were seated promptly with fast and attentive service. We both chose the lunch combo bentos. Wifey had the beef teriyaki and avocado roll and I had the Saba Shioyaki and Combo Tempura. The miso soup had good flavor and a few small cubes of tofu with kombu. My dainty mackerel filet was moist, tasty and boneless. My one shrimp tempura was hot and juicy with a crispy panko breading. The veggies were yam, carrot, zucchini and cauliflower. The dipping sauce was a little sweet. The beef was medium rare and lean of high quality with good teriyaki flavor. A good place for lunch and conveniently located. May repeat.

Food: had the hungry roll (good), lambada roll (ok), heart attack roll (good), and double lobster roll (good). They put a lot of sauce on their rolls. Not spicy either, even when asking for very spicy. Cost: a little expensive, $85 for 2.
