Honestly it reminds me of Panda Express but better. They really know how to give you the flavor and the portions. I was so stuffed and shocked. I thought it wouldn’t fill me up so fast but I was in love on how tasty it was. 10/10 but it was hard trying to find it at night

Best local fast type Chinese food around. Love the Hot & Sour soup! I typically order 3 items to go; rice, yummy sweet and sour pork and veggies. Very nice staff.

Despite this, Lucky Bistros is trying hard to create a positive dining experience. When I was there, I noticed some people coming in only to criticize, which felt unfair given how accommodating and attentive the staff was. For example, I saw someone complain about allergies, and even though the staff assured them everything was prepared safely, the customer left without ordering. As someone observing, it seemed the restaurant was doing everything it could to meet people’s needs. Personally, I had a great experience. I loved the quality of the food and the thoughtful presentation, even down to the containers they used. I believe this restaurant deserves more support from the community. I encourage everyone to give it a chance, and I hope others will spread the word to friends and family.

My 1st time to dine at Lucky Bistro! It was amazing taste in flavor! I had wonderful steamed rice with mixed vegetables, Chicken & Green beans and a house soup oh my gosh such good flavor... absolutely delicious!

I've had lunch once a week here, since 1999. It's very clean and the food is fresh, especially if you order from the menu. The Chinese chicken salad is better than any I've tasted in other restaurants. The staff is friendly and the portions are ample too.

Every time when I visit my family in the Bay Area, I have to go to Lucky to get my favorite dishes. They have many variety food that are superior to Panda Express( even though you might think they are the same type of restaurants). I can order some signature dishes that are not part of their combo items. If you are in the Bay Area, Lucky is the one place that you shouldn’t miss!!🥰

Good inexpensive option that is tasty and caters to a more western audience but is still authentic if you want it to be. I must admit I do love American Chinese food. Fast service and good for young kids when in a hurry. We adults also genuinely enjoyed the food, as did our somewhat picky toddler.

The people posting about the bad portions are just wrong. Got a medium fried rice after picking up some fish at 99 Ranch and the lady filled it to the top scooped more and pressed it down so more could fit…absolutely diva

The BBQ pork fried rice is the best there. This is really the reason I got here. Best fried rice I've ever had.

Tasty food, great for a quick bite. Being able to get chow fun as part of a combination plate instead of rice or chow mein is amazing!

This is a solid Chinese buffet restaurant. It’s clean, the food is a decent version of the usuals (broccoli beef, pork buns, etc.), and the staff is nice. They helped carry our food over when they saw that I had my hands full with the kids. Being next to Nob Hill grocery store makes it a convenient stop before doing some grocery shopping.

A tasty take on express Chinese takeout. One of the few places that offers decent chow fun as an option other than fried rice or chow mein. They have remodeled the inside so the interior is very snazzy and clean. They do use some of the public tables to shell veggies but it's usually not very crowded. They have a couple of outdoor tables. It is in a densely populated strip mall with a ton of stores. This is one of a couple of restaurants. Parking can be problematic because it is a very busy parking lot but they do have a ton of spaces. Their food is quite tasty and they've been here a long time! Their best express table dish isntheir black pepper chicken.

Food was good, but packed in a cheap,, clear container that melted from the heat and spilled in the bag. Food was okay, way too many veggies, very little meat.

We arrived at a time in the evening wear the trays of food had almost been depleted and upon beginning the meal we realized that many of the entrees were cold. However the staff was very responsive, warmed up our food and we ended up having a nice meal. For the price, however, I would think a bit more awareness of those types of issues would be warranted.

Fast Chinese food with a moderate selection of items and hot and sour soup included. Price for a plate is about the same as the Ranch Market 99 next door, which has more items and has more authentic and less heavy Chinese. Convenient bike parking right in front.

I hadn't visited this place in a long time, but I was hungry and waiting for my car to charge, so I stopped in for a late lunch. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't great, and definitely not as good as I remember. I am absolutely crazy about sesame balls, and just like I always do, I ordered a couple with my lunch. Again here, they were fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. I don't know if I visited on an off day, or if there's new staff, but everything tasted a little more bland than I remembered. I was disappointed.

I hadn't visited this place in a long time, but I was hungry and waiting for my car to charge, so I stopped in for a late lunch. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't great, and definitely not as good as I remember. I am absolutely crazy about sesame balls, and just like I always do, I ordered a couple with my lunch. Again here, they were fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. I don't know if I visited on an off day, or if there's new staff, but everything tasted a little more bland than I remembered. I was disappointed.

Ok but deceiving ordered spring rolls picture shows four got one same as crab ragu - no rice came with order - kung pao chicken not good. No serving stuff which probably should of asked but delivered to major hotel - Over $60 food delivered not impressed

This place has always been my favorite their food is/was good and I would have no problems. The last 2 times I ate from this place I had the worst case of food poisoning along with my family. Overall I wouldn't go here again.

I rated 1star to let everyone know, that after this first visit, it will be my last visit, I walk in and this mexican girl is very sick coughing and sneezing and serving the food at the same time, the food is microwaved because it sits there all day, they are very rude and un professional and the old chinese guy with the chef hat kept picking his nose, friggin gross, never eat at this place, I rated one star because thats the only way I could leave a comment.

Idk how people give such a high rating of this place! Not only are they over priced, but the food is not good at all. We got egg rolls and it taste like they were fried twice! The food is so gross! Never going there again.

Employees not professional, very small portions OMG, I'm a medium size guy that loves food. The prices dont match the portions they give. And the #1 reason I'm not going back is because the customer in front of me got larger portions and the customer behind me got larger portions and I'm not going to pull the race card but they were picking who they want to give 100% customer service.

HATED it... Absolutely DISGUSTING, unhygenic food.. I was starving and that was the closest place to eat. The food did not look appetizing, so I just ordered vegetarian food. 2 entrees for 8 something dollars. Learn the definition of an entree. They say one of the entrees has to be rice or noodle. I could not finish even 1/3rd of the plate. Not just tasteless food, very smelly too. If the vegetarian food was this bad, I can't even imagine how meat must have been. DO NOT EVEN THIS ABOUT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE.

Spring rolls were wet and soggy. We threw it all out. Not sure if they have new owners or a new chef or just an off night. Will try their food one more time to see if maybe this was just a fluke.

I ask the lady who helped me that I like that food too. She said no, this is only for us, you eat your own food. This was the craziest thing ever. Even one star is too many for this gross place. I give them negative 5 star to serve the customers old very greasy food and eat the fresh food themselves.
